Management is great! Rooms are basic, but clean, and they are updated. Management goes to great lengths to give great customer service. The housekeeping is great! Courtney is an awesome housekeeper. Always willing to give fresh towels and cleans the rooms whenever asked. Tawanda is exceptional. She's very friendly, always stops at our room, gladly helps with any questions we may have, does a fantastic job cleaning and giving fresh towels. Exceptional housekeeper.

Stopped late night/early morning. The desk staff named Ace was exceptionally helpful in finding me a room. I ended up with a double because every room was booked. I was there only 4 or 5 hours but it was clean and quiet. Awoke to shower and hit the road. Unfortunately I turned my credit card in along with the roomcard. When I got home I called and the young woman who answered said they had it and I could come get it. Unfortunately I live hundreds of miles miles away in Massachusetts. She agreed to destroy the card for me for which I am grateful. Nothing fancy but there was coffee to hit the road with.

Second shift staff provided a great atmosphere. Quality of service is awesome. The gentlemen at the front desk was friendly and I had no complaints about my stay.

Great customer service. Pet friendly. Just like any hotel, motel, inn it has its downsides. I would recommend this location, due to the atmosphere that the people who work there provide. It's great to see that great service can still be provided.

The front Desk man I believe his name is Giovanni, was the kindest most professional person I have came across in my travels! If he is working there when I get back, I would definitely come again. I would recommend this place and a staff with employees like Giovanni to anybody. I give it 5 Stars!

It was terrible! When we first arrived, the person at the counter couldn't pull up my reservation. The lady said it was kicked out because my credit card was declined! Then her husband or what ever he was, came in and started arguing about laundry and how one of the guests kept using the machines! Not only did they mess up my card, but then they messed up the room key. We were almost late for our dinner reservations because they had to sort it out. Then when we finally got into the room, it was dirty! There was a way rag left in the shower from the previous person! It was so gross. The laundry area smelled like urine, and the whole place was dirty. I would give it negative Stars if I could!

We enjoyed our sleep there, over all we gave it a 4 because of the price, bed, pet friendly and dont charge extra for pet. We were only there 1 night. It is an older motel and could use some updating and then around baseboards could be cleaned more, that is why not 5 stars. We really liked our stay. Thank you.

Room was okay, floors were dirty. House keeping came into my room once and only gave me new towels not sheets. I stayed for a whole week. When I went to the house keeping lady to get new towels and toilet paper… she said she didn't have any but would call someone to bring me some. I never got towels! Or toilet paper! She was rude and did not seem to care. My sheets were not changed the whole time I was there and when I arrived my sheets had burn marks on them in a non smoking room. All in all front desk was polite. Room service/ house keeping is the worse.

The staff is very friendly love having good conversations with them, they are very helpful. Easy walking to close stores and restaurants. Clean rooms, good house keeping.

Excellent location… Close to several stores. Super friendly staff. This hotel is also PET FRIENDLY which is a big plus over their competitors. All the rooms do not have a fridge or microwave so if this is important to you, you may want to make sure that’s what you’re getting when you book your room. Overall, for a budget hotel, I think you get enough for you buck.

We enjoyed our stay at this Motel 6. The location was pleasant and quiet, off the main road. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were adequate to meet the need. The lighting was especially good. If I had only one suggestion, it would be that management walk around the property to assess the need for trash pickup on the site, as there was a lot of waste paper lying around, trapped in stairwells and such. Thank you for being so welcoming for patrons of the dog show. We who show appreciate motels that are so willing to provide us with shelter!

We paid for a King Deluxe room and I’m pretty sure our bed was either a queen or double. We also had no refrigerator or microwave, which I understand at the desk that the room had issues that had those amenities so I was fine except we were charged the same for a downgrade. The room was just a room. No breakfast at the place, just coffee. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Not too bad of a Motel, easy access to PA Route 30 and Interstate 83. There's a diner up the road and a Sheetz nearby. Also if this is booked there are several others within a very short distance. The area is not bad, but the hotels cheap pricing attracts quite a few shady characters now and then. All in all if you need a decent cheap place to stay for a night or two this is acceptable.

Clean room. The room was relatively small with laminate flooring. I do prefer laminate over carpeting because I think it is cleaner. The Wi-Fi costs extra. The building needs external maintenance or renovation. It was cheap and you get what you pay for.

No refrigerator. No Breakfast. Toilet leaked. Shower pressure was low. I had a room on the 3rd floor and key cards didn't work. The whole building is gross and it needs to be updated. I feel that a night there should be under $35 easy.

This is such a great motel. I got more than what was expected and and the Clerk at the front desk was so polite while explaining hotel rules and policys. I believe his Name Was Mr. Ace and I will be sure to recomend this motel to all my peers.

The manager is great here and really accommodating and kind. It's a comfortable place and is reasonably priced. The rooms are also surprisingly spacious. And they allow pets!

It is what I expect when staying at any Motel 6 or other frugally affordable hotel chain. Rooms are ample in size and amenities although a fridge and or microwave would be a nice addition even if they only offered them as a rentable option to be placed in room upon prior request. Cleanliness is what I would call average for hotel chains in this price category. I would merely suggest a better job at moping the floors. We have stayed at this particular location numerous times and it is consistently the same which is an advantage for them as we know exactly what we are going to get. The convenient location to areas of York, Lancaster, and even Harrisburg is a huge plus. Also, a good variety of restaurants are close by. A great value compared to those other chains that want to charge you twice as much for a room that I would say is similar in cleanliness. I just don't agree with the upcharges for a continental breakfast, a pool I would NEVER use, or an extra sofa or chair in the room. It is priced where I believe all popular hotel chains should be priced.

I stay here whenever I'm in town. It's clean, showers always work and have hot water, and conveniently located. The staff is helpful and friendly. The only thing this time was the blankets had some holes in them. I will stay here again and I always recommend it.

The room was filthy — floor was dirty, needed a good mopping. The air conditioning was on 60 degrees and it was ice cold in the room. The bed comforter had three burns in it and one was the size of a quarter. The baseboard in the bathroom was detached from the wall and there were holds in the wall. The fan in the bathroom was extreme loud and annoying. There was a stink bug in the room and we had to catch it and put it outside. The outside of the building looks like it will fall apart at the slight gust of wind. Very dirty and smoky. The staff was nice and professional.

Well, accessibility to the road is awful, but I don't fault the hotel for that. The only thing nice was the check in guy. I got placed in a smoking suite, I did not request that. The floors were dirty (my feet were literally black), the ceiling and trimming in the bathroom had mildew around it. There was no water pressure in the shower and the bottom of the shower looked like it had particles of paint from the wall scattered about it. The towel rack in the bathroom was coming off of the wall. The pillows reeked of cigarette smoke. I realize it is advertised as no frills, but one lamp was missing a lightbulb, and there were no plugs close to the bed to have my phone charge. It was such a bad experience that me and my roommate woke up early so we could leave early. It has tarnished our view point of motel 6, and I HIGHLY doubt I or she will ever return.

This motel is amazing… my boyfriend and I have been staying at this location for a few weeks and love it. The staff is amazing and know us by name. They really took the time to get to know us and what we have been going through. Yeah it sucks that we are going through this but I am happy that we dont have to do it alone. The room is clean and comfortable. Housekeeping always checks on us to see if we need anything everyday, and the staff is beyond words of being amazing. If it wasn't for the people here at motel 6 for them taking the time and helping us and being here me and my boyfriend would be stuck without anything. Highly recommended location.

We stay at this motel several years ago and from that experience decided to stay again. This stay will be our last. The room wasn't cared for daily. The second day we actually had to call the office for clean towels. In 5 day the sheets weren't changed. We tried to get ice several times and it was always none available. No refrigerator, no coffee maker. People around the motel panhandling right by the office.

I saw some bad reviews online, but a lot of good ones too, I decided to give it a try as it was the best ratings of all the budget level motels. I found the positive ones to be true. The staff was awesome and my room was clean. The only issue was the Wi-Fi was a little slow. Otherwise an awesome stay!

The lovely young lady in the office (my apologies as I did not get her name) was very friendly, kind and accommodating. The motel is fortunate to have an employee like her. My room was perfect and clean. I had 2 dogs with me and was given some treats and clean up bags which were very much appreciated. Little touches like that are something that guests remember for a long time and pass such information on to their friends and others looking for a good, clean, fairly priced place to stay. Very easy to find and like the parking right at the door. I recently had my hip replaced and my room was easy to access and exercising my dogs was easy and stress free.

I gave this Motel 6 only 4 stars due to the building being a little dated, only because it was not built recently. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean updated rooms and service. The staff has been very helpful, friendly and courteous. Reggie remembered my Husband and I from our last stay, making us feel right at home, while getting us setup again for a longer stay. Reggie made sure we received the best weekly rates, he was able to offer. This motel is pet friendly, your furry friends stay for free. It is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and convenience stores. On-site coin operated laundry and vending machines available, it is also very handicapped friendly. While being on the economy side of motels, this is by far the best bang for your buck in this area.

Room was in good condition and clean. Very affordable price. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Great location, good restaurants nearby, perfect for my date night.

We rented two rooms for a trip to the Harley factory. First night wasn't bad the floors are dirty other than that everything was clean. Day 2 the smell from I guess the near by plants was horrible. When we tried to take showers the hot water didn't work at all in either of our rooms. Called the front desk, they informed us the water in the room by the office was fine it would warm up. After 20 minutes and it never warmed up called them back and they said just come take a shower in the lower vacant room. The water in this room was still cool not warm. In a pinch it's ok would not willingly stay again.

The room was ok. It was clean but the staff is unknowledgable and contradict each other. We pulled into town a few minutes to midnight on a Thursday. The night clerk told us that he was going to charge us as if we were checking in on friday and checking out on Saturday. Friday at 12:30 pm they were calling our room saying that we were supposed to had checked out half hr ago. When we explained the situation to the morning front desk person, she said the night clerk was incorrect and that we paid $65 for checking in at 11:46 pm Thursday thru Friday 12pm. It was ridiculous… how can u charge someone a whole day when technically the day was gonna end 14 minutes later. The frosting on the cake! They don't even have small fridges or microwaves.

The room was nice. Internet should be free in this day and age. There were only 2 things that were bad like ever 30 minutes the toilet would run, the other bad thing were the number of outlets there were 2 in the whole room. One under the desk with one socket being used for the TV the other open for use. The other outlet was fair from the bed by the sink so neither convenient for our 2 phones or gps or really safe. If you are a tec heavy person I advise a power strip.

If I could give this a 0 star I would. Absolutely the worst experience i've ever had. My Fiance and I travel a lot and unfortunately booked this hotel last minute when visiting family. I thought I booked the Motel 6 down the road but didn't, sadly. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a VERY unpleasant front desk girl (rachel). I asked about the price because when I booked it online it was about $30 cheaper. Her responsive was confrontational and aggressive. Okay, no big deal, we paid it and went to our room. We were welcomed in the room by an old, musty, stench which was over powering to say the least. We sat on the bed to be greeted by a flying friend who ended up not making it. (sorry but we don't like to sleep with bugs) We realized the smell was too over powering and the way the front desk girl was very unsettling so I started calling hotels around us. Finally after about 20 minutes we found a hotel that wasn't booked. I went downstairs and asked her if we could please get our money back as we decided not to stay. She immediately asked why and confronted me saying we were up there for 20-30 minutes so we technically "used" the room. I am not sure what she was implying but I asked for a manager so we could handle this situation as I knew this wouldn't go anywhere with her. Long story short — she had a "head housekeeper" check the room who told her the bed was messed up and that we weren't getting our money back for a night.

The Room was efficient and clean. A small fridge would have been a plus. It was next to an all night t Diner with wonderful food, a Great Bar, Mexican Food, a Starbucks. No need to drive anywhere. A mile from the Harley Factory, and 30 miles to Gettysburg. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our experience was great. Other than the per day cost of internet our trip could not have been better.

Clean, safe, quiet and easy to get to. Lots of eateries close by and near local malls. I especially like that they accept dogs without an additional fee. My new favorite York motel.

Spending nearly a month at this Motel 6 and I could not be more grateful! It's hard to be away from home for such a long time, but the cleanliness of the rooms, friendliness of the staff, convenient location, safety (very important to me as a woman! ), and the extremely comfortable beds have been blessings to me and my limited budget. The coffee is even good and there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. I have absolutely no complaints.

Great little motel, at a great price. I stay once a week. The only thing I don't like is the overwhelming smell of the cleaning/freshener. Good location, walk to restaurants, convenience store and Starbucks. The front desk service on Tuesday nights is outstanding.

Stopped on the way home to Rochester NY. Very convienent to I83. Suprised at the cleanliness and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy, but updated. A greayt value for the price.
