Awesome, kind staff, spacious room, the room is clean almost perfect until the time we are ready to sleep we got upset because the pillows smells bad
it smells like dried sweat, that is the only issue. Still if given a chance I'll still choose this hotel.

The atmosphere here is vibrant and friendly. The staff are incredible. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds and the pillows are super comfortable. I’m here with my dog and my dog has been welcomed and greeted by all staff as well as guests. They even have doggy bags of goodies for their pup guests. Nugget is going nuts with the ball. He is definitely one happy guest! Any questions asked are responded to with accuracy and sincerity. The staff are truly genuine people. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Awesome is the word I can say about the hotel and staff… I stayed for 2.5 months and never felt that I’m out of my country… staff never let me feel that I’m short on my friends… Kudos.

The staff is awesome. They are very friendly. They had awesome front desk staff. The kitchen staff and over all staff. They always make us feel very welcome and enjoy are stay. We love the pool Spa and breakfast and furniture on the patio's. The fire pit is real nice as well as the grill for a cook out. Thank You all Rachel thank you have the grill out of us also. As always we loved are relaxing 2 days at the Hilton Garden. Highly recommended. Thank You Earl and Kathy Cunningham.

I stay here about once a month. The hotel is always nice and clean. It still feels new. The staff is nice. The food at the hotel restuarant is good though a bit expensive.

To the staff at the Wilkes Barre Hilton you All were AMAZING to my 82 year old parents! You treated my parents as if they were your own! Kim Latoya David Sam and so many others that I can’t remember all of your names I am totally amazed and thankful for the care you gave them! So forever grateful to you! Even during the tornado you made sure they were safe! God Bless you all!

Most of the staff was great especially the housekeeping staff. Rooms and lobby were clean and comfortable. The second shift desk and bar staff were snobbish and unprofessional.

Stayed here for a work trip and had no complaints. The room was clean, and every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating during the stay. We were even provided a shuttle service to and from the nearby Mohegan Sun Casino. It doesn't have a regular schedule, but you can request a ride at the front desk. The hotel is also conveniently located close to many chain and local shopping and dining options. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Called to book a weekend. Said will call right back the woman said ok. Called back 4 minutes later and the price jumped almost $50. Not acceptable!

The foyer is bright and open and the front desk a little ways back. We had a room on the third floor which offered a view of the mountains in the distance. Wal-Mart was close by if you needed anything, and many restaurants. It was within driving distance to the downtown area. The hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly. The pool is small and goes to three feet deep, the spa was not opertational when we visited. We were happy with our stay, the breakfast was about $20 per person, we used an online booking and received coupons for it.

Love this hotel. It's where we stay every year. There was a Jeff Dunham show the night of our stay. Staffing wise there were really unprepared for this. But even still the only thing that was affected was breakfast. Rooms are super comfy and clean. Recently remodeled. Bar tender was super nice as she is every year.

Have stayed here multiple times. This visit I had issues with my charges… but, the manager kindly resolved them. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bed was a tad firm for my taste. The new blinds in the room had gaps which allowed bright light in and the mini fridge was difficult to close. Otherwise, a fine place to stay and I will give them another chance!

Nice place. Done a good job updating most. Faucets were hard to turn on and shower water pressure was meh. Otherwise not bad.

If staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wilkes Barre PA, please make sure that your room is not on the front of the wing by the fire pit area. Worst ever hotel experience — On Friday, October 13th, I was awakened at 11:50 pm by a large group of unruly (insert loud and drunk) guest who were using the firepit area after returning from a wedding. After listening to them for 1 hour, I called the front desk. I was told that they were in a 24 hr guest access area so management could not do anything. For the next hour I listened to them, the car alarms that other disturbed guests were setting off in the hopes of driving them inside and even other disturbed guests who took it upon themselves to personally confront the unruly group. Finally at 2am, I called the Wilkes Barre Township police who said there was a noise ordinance in the township and they would stop by. Within 30 minutes, blessed silence! Upon our checkout, the manager on duty, Brian Womack (sp? ), asked how our stay was. When I complained about Friday night, he simply said "It was a bad situation for everyone". Obviously, as long as you are in a common area, you can do whatever you want at whatever time of night or day. Beautiful hotel. Always friendly personable staff, cook to order breakfast, nicely refreshed rooms. This is my go to hotel as I frequent the area for business.

The staff was very nice and the facility was great. They need better blinds in the room though.

Very well maintained and clean but everything was an older generation of HGI. Tiny bolted hairdryer, nutragena products (though I like them). Bed was fine but all pillows were a little too soft. New generation requires multiple firmness pillows. Didn't get internet codes at check in but didn't really care since we were only sleeping.

They have the best mattresses — so comfy, and the breakfast is a good deal!

Stayed one night for a meeting in their conference room. Easy access from 81. Rooms were comfortable with all the usual conveiences. Bar and breakfast were lackluster. Overall not a bad experience.

Room not clean when we arrived. Dirty towels on floor bed not made or sheets changed. Our gift bag w wedding snacks was removed after they cleaned our room as well. Pretty poor staffing. They were on a "employee appreciation" dinner instead of cleaning our $140 a night hotel room.

Nice hotel! The accommodations are lovely & our room was very nice and clean. I was here with a wedding, and I especially appreciated how accommodating and helpful the staff were through our whole stay there. They put two barstaff on shift for us the night of the wedding after the reception — I didn't catch their names but they were awesome! Also Sylvia (I think? ) at the front desk was so great when I realized I'd left something behind after we'd left. She helped me contact housekeeping and got my item shipped back to me very promptly! Would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends!

Had a great time for two nights of stay. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

The DL&W RRHS held our annual meeting in April of 2016 at the Hilton Gardens in Wilkes Barre. The food was very good, the meeting rooms were great. The staff was completely helpful and helped make the event successful. I highly recommend them.

Hotel was clean. Parking was easy. Staff is friendly. Even though I only was there for a meeting, there's not really anything I can say that's bad. Keep up the good work!

I've stayed at this location numerous times and I'm very happy to say they finally replaced the mattresses! The old mattresses would sag on the side closest to the night table (in the double queen rooms). Thankfully that is no longer a problem. The place is pretty much fully updated. My only problem is they have a tendency to raise the prices over the weekend when the courtyard across the street which is only a year or two old keeps their rates the same.

Clean and comfortable room. Air conditioner works without the rump rump rump noise many of us are forced to endure in our travels. Front desk staff was superior. Comfortable mattress. Convenient to AVP. From Diamond member.

Very clean. Great place to stay for a wedding party. They were super accommodating for our wedding guests and us. Gave out our gift bags without being prompted by guests. Next door to walmart and FedEx, and short drive to so many stores which was perfect for us as we completed last minute printing and purchases for the wedding. Also had a free shuttle for guests anywhere within 5 mins. Provided free wedding shuttle and complimentary bride/groom room since we booked 15 rooms. Would highly recommend especially for those planning a wedding.
