Pulling up to the hotel my child’s comment said it looks scary. Not well kept at all. The lobby was dark, a smell of cleaning product to mask the smell of mold, and cigarettes. The person at the desk wasn’t personable, nor clean, his shirt was untucked with stains. I felt very uncomfortable there. The room was dark, smelled like smoke even though it was a smoke free room. The blanket on the bed was wrinkly, the bathroom was dirty. There was something by the drain, no idea what it was. Mold around the window, turned on the air conditioner which made the air worse in there. We drive 3 hours to visit friends, and was hoping to stay the night so we could visit them the next day. We were so disgusted with this hotel, we ended up driving home. This hotel should be condemned! I wouldn’t let a dog stay there! Just gross!

Very quiet and good atmosphere. My only complaint was that I asked for an extra bed and they brought me a rubber. And there were the dirty sheets. But they quickly solved me and gave me clean bedding.

Very dirty mold on bedding even found a roach. Bathroom was very dirty wall paper falling off wall mold underneath. Im allergic to mold and kept coughing. We won’t be back to this location.

Room has kind of a musky smell and the tub is cracked. If we weren't here for my mom's funeral tomorrow, and had more time to look I would have checked the reviews better!

This was from April, 2019: My hubby n I had a terrible time there around The beginning of April, except one of the front desk people was incredible, she helped us out so much. We went back there and I stopped by the desk to ask for her. Ms. C PATEL u don’t work there anymore but you should know how nice I made our stay there, how much you saved us from having a really terrible situation! You were so down to earth and yet n still I forgot to ask ur name. I tried to thank you personally!

Easy to find. Pleasant staff, especially the manager. Comfortable room. Clean and well-kept. Nice beds. Good price. Breakfast was tasty and staff were very friendly. I would easily choose to stay here again when we pass this way.

The bed sheets were dirty. The front desk staff was friendly and exchanged them for me. The breakfast was very good.

Excellent place to stay! Super clean room, very nice staff. Anything you need, they provide without question, including extra towels & washcloths. Breakfast is a hot breakfast & very good. Only complaint is that the breakfast area is very small, very few tables. We took the food to our room and ate there. We would definitely stay here again. Much nicer than more expensive places where we've stayed!

Rooms were clean and made nicely, for the price they did a great job, just not the roomiest rooms.

Nice beds. A little more money then some but worth it. Good breakfast. Not a lot of dinner options nearby.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of items on complementary breakfast. Our room was small but comfortable. Carpet was in need of replacement. We would stay here again.

I had stayed in this hotel 2 years ago from then till now wasn't as clean as it was bathroom & the bedsheets. I hope they pick up & do better.

Hotel room floor was damp. There was an extra ten dollar charge for a cot after I booked a room for five people. Hotel room door was gapped from top to bottom and let hallway light in when lights were turned off inside room. On the plus side, the staff was great in helping me set up a surprise Father's day breakfast. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. Very nice people. Wish the hotel they worked in was more up to date.

Good breakfast. Breakfast staff very friendly and nice smiles. Only complaint was carpets in our room were damp and bathroom floor was still wet but we just wore our shoes. We were too tired to request another room.

We ended up here at the Comfort Inn when we blew a tire on our boat trailer. We limped into the parking lot to get out of traffic. The General Manager Michael Van Ness could not have been more kind to us as we waited for assistance. He offered the use of the rest room and insisted we have something to eat and drink in the dining area. He even came out to check on us and gave us more snacks for the road. What a generous, thoughtful man and a great representative for the Comfort Inn brand. We will make it a point to patronize Comfort Inn the next time we need lodging!

Had an emergency while there and Colin handled it perfectly. What a wonderful you g man. Peep at desk were amazing. House keeping staff was rude and disrespectful it had no time to address it.

Very clean, comfortable. The reception is professional and courteous. The staff are nice.

Our port in the storm… got in late on our way to Philly to pick up our son for Spring break… to beat the blizzard :D. Very affordable… at first concerned re: our room being right next to the elevator, (noise? ), elevator looks a little rough, bathroom not perfect, however! Great beds, quiet! Clean! Great customer service, location, breakfast included… it was great for us. Will definitely stay again.

Awesome property since the remodel definitely a good choice style hotel. Great breakfast, the staff is awesome, plenty of parking, big soft beds. Enjoy.

Great place. Nice and quiet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I did not got chance to go for the breakfast, I slept in until it was over. The only downside was, I was on 3rd floor and the pressure in the shower was really low and also it was difficult to change the shower head setting as it has multiple settings. But overall it was great stay. Would return if passing through.

We booked late and got a great price, the room was perfect, bed was super comfortable, overall everything was perfect. I definitely would stay here again!

Musty smelling room, grease smudges on windows and the worse part was the tub, stained, cracked, they tried spray painting over the nasty and there was hair in the tub. Front desk jockey was no help, greasy hair, not presentable as we checked out… wish I could post a pic here of tub to show how gross it was… done with comfort inns, they are on level with red roof and microtels… yuck.

Convenient and neat for the most part. Restroom had water leakage issue and toilet had a flush problem. But the staff was friendly handled it.

Ok place, nothing to write home about. The bed was comfy and breakfast was lackluster. But the water was hot! Very clean, super friendly staff. Overall, not too bad.

The room we had in Clarks Summit was, by most measures, one of the finest Comfort Inn rooms we have ever had. If the management would just attend to the bad condition of the tub bottom, it would be unequivocally top-notch.

Stayed at Comfort Inns 43 nights this past year and was very pleased with rooms, staff, etc. For a very fair price. I always plan my stays at a Choice Hotel. Would highly recommend others do the same. We always feel safe, welcome and appreciated.

Overall restful experience with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is minimal and crowded but still good. This place is worth the price.

This hotel is a great value if you are looking for a hotel to stay for a quick trip. It is located near many restaurants and quick access to the highway. More importantly it is clean and the staff is always friendly.

It was good, great service and the location was the best.

The hotel was dirty and smelled of stagnant smoke. We asked for double beds and when we got there all they had was a room with a King bed. We asked for a change and they said they had none available, which seemed ridiculous bc the place seemed empty. Also, on a king bed they gave us 5 tiny pillows. They were the size of couach throw pillows, but ones that should be put on a bed. Not sure about bed bugs, but my friend was complaining about ichiness in the morning. Might not be bed bugs, might have just been the place being dirty… The continental breakfast was pretty weak, with a few scarmled egg patties laying in some hot water… In all, I would recommend not staying here… We stopped into thr Hapton inn down the street because we needed a computer, and it was beauitful… Staying in Clarks Summit, stay there… TRUST me!

Could use a little cleaning, but overall a nice hotel and great staff for a great value!
