One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Maddy the front desk clerk was on top of it all. She was super friendly! Overly helpful! Just an all around good person. The rooms were super clean. The housekeeping staff was so pleasant! Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Hampton Inn for a great stay!

Had a situation where I was kept up since 230 am. Got too the point I asked to be moved, and the staff was outstanding. Customer service through the roof. Very polite and agreed on hotel edict. Very much appreciated.

Overall a nice hotel. The rooms can use some updating and a better control of the AC unit so you can at least have the fan on constant flowing once it turns off and gets stuffy in the room quickly. The bathrooms need some updating the ceilings need some paint due to the high humidity level with it being in the shower but that is to be expected, but it needs to be taken care of. The hallways definitely need to be vacuumed better the rooms are clean but the hallways seem to be neglected by the cleaning crew. The shuttle service is very nice in the drivers are Pleasant and friendly and professional.

The hotel is just outside of downtown Pittsburgh, so convenient location. The hotel is fairly clean, not great. The main reason we chose to stay here is the shuttle which has been very nice. The drivers have been nice and helpful. It's nice to be driven to certain spots and not have to worry about parking and associated fees!

Great stay! Helpful staff, delicious breakfast, comfy bed, close to where we needed to be and not far from fast food. Nice pool outside too, though we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. Thanks so much!

The service was wonderful. Rooms were nice and clean. Only downfall was that when we checked in, an hour after allowed check-in, only one room was ready. When we went back an hour later, they had oversold and given our room away. They upgraded us to a better room, though, so that was perfect. Breakfast was good, too. Hot and cold options.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a long time. We're on a cross country road trip with our dog, and the king suite we booked was very spacious and comfortable. Bed and pillows we're very comfortable, and the water temp and pressure in the shower was very good. This hotel has one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. They actually have hot scrambled eggs and sausage, as well as oatmeal and waffle making stations. Coffee was very good. Definitely would stay here again!

Stayed here recently for a business trip. I did bring my family with me for this trip along with our small dog. The staff is amazing at this Hilton! The hotel could use some updating as the carpets could probably be replaced and the drywall in our bathroom could use some repair. Other than that it was clean and the again the staff was so good. On the day we checked out I received a phone call about 45 minutes later. It was Leah from the front desk informing me I had accidentally left my laptop (in it's bag) in my room. She offered to send it to me but thankfully I was still in town. Great customer service!

Stayed 4 nights. Staff was awesone. Breakfast was really good. Shuttle service was great. Highly recommend this hotel. Having a place to do laundry would be a plus. Will definitely stay again. Great job to all the staff.

Overall, the room is very clean and the bed is super comfy. The TV has trouble during a storm and they don't sell beer in the lobby, but I am enjoying the hotel regardless! The staff here is by far the friendliest staff I have run across in a long time!

It works for a small conference. The conference room was a bit too small, with very cheap furniture. Single person restrooms makes break time hectic. As per usual the conference room climate alternated between way to hot and way too cold every ten minutes. Consider the lack of space and comfort before renting this space.

Location is fairly quiet and decorated well. Staff has been friendly and helpful. When I arrived, the keys to my room did not work, but the front desk fixed the issue quickly. The bed was fairly comfortable as well. The room was clean.

Incredibly dog friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend and I have 2 Newfoundland dogs, which could have been an issue with any lesser staff. They welcomed us with open arms, and helped when one of the dogs was whining too loudly, which bothered other guests, by going to the room and settling them down. This allowed us to continue our vacation without making the return trip just to settle the dogs down.

Wasn't bad. Walls seemed a little thin. I could hear the people talking good bit. Price was good, rooms were clean, and breakfast was nice!

My second time here and I have no complaints. From the breakfast, staff, to the room was great. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family visiting Pittsburgh.

We chose this hotel because it has a Shuttle to the PPG Arena where we had tickets to the NCAA Basketball Tournament. I enjoyed my stay very much. Rooms were clean and peaceful, shuttle driver was very competent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was very good. We will definitely return.

Practical and comfortable "motor hotel" with clean, spacious rooms and affable staff. Fresh, warm cookies at the front desk at evening check-in time. Quiet rooms.

We stay at this hotel whenever we come to Pittsburgh for an event. Staff is friendly and willing to suggest places to go and things to do. Clean and rather quiet. More than adequate breakfast. Coffee in the lobby all day long and of good quality. They have a snack in the lobby in the late afternoon. Close to everything. We Uber to sporting events events and to the convention. Many restaurants and shopping near that area.

The room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable, there was a nice little microwave and fridge in the room. The front desk people were great and very friendly. The only complaint was that someone started doing maintenance work at 9 a. M. On a Saturday morning. You could hear them banging on something throughout the entire floor. There was no noise insulation in the room to begin with, so it was an unpleasant wake up call.

The price was reasonable and the room was relatively clean. The room was nice and warm during the cold and I was able to take a nice bath. They have free coffee, hot water, and complimentary breakfast. Their Wi-Fi was decent enough to stream twitch. The only downside is that it's not exactly pretty and its hard to find the hotel.

Clean comfortable. Fridge and microwave in room. Free breakfast. Indoor heated pool. Happy Hour snacks and wine. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Nice clean, comfy room. The staff was very polite. There was a light buzzing sound in our room that we could hear all night. Not too big of a deal. Could also hear everything that was being said in the room next to us. But they were being pretty loud.

Very nice 3 star hotel. Front desk staff was pleasant. Average sized rooms. Small parking lot. Very soft bedding although the mattress was slightly noisy. Soaps were pleasant and hot water on demand. Not a great shower head though. Outlets mounted by the nightstand is good maybe could have included USB also. Fresh hot coffee in the morning with flavored creamers and anything else you'd need. Left before breakfast though.

Really nice, people at the desk were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable on the area and where to go what might suit use best as to what we were there to see and do! Room was clean, above average for the money, and the breakfast was nice. Late day they put food n drinks out for everyone, spaghetti, pizza, all kinds. Free. Very nice surprise, can't say enough how nice my stay was. Thank you Hampton!

The front desk was friendly and welcoming. Every staff we encountered and passed by in the hallway was very sweet. The day we checked out my kids were creating chaos and one of the front desk lady came out with a treasure of toys for my kids to pick from. That helped me out to get them calm was so awesome! I was about to lose my mind with them touching everything, lol. Thank you ladies!

I was very pleased with my stay. The free shuttle to/from the Pirates game was great. The workers at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Bed extremely comfortable. Good equipment in the fitness center to get a quick full body workout. Delicious breakfast. Best of all it's a pet friendly hotel.

Everyone at this hotel was so incredibly friendly and quick to attend to your needs! I casually mentioned I lost my contact holding case so was going to have to sleep in my contacts and the front desk attendant immediately pulled out a box of brand new ones and gave me one! They are also very dog friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. We pulled in without a reservation when we were driving through to MD and they had no problem accommodating us and our two Golden Retrievers. They had a great hot breakfast too. Can't say enough and would come back anytime!

Very nice comfortable rooms, knowledgable and helpful staff, wine with cheese and crackers every Sunday afternoon. Free shuttle to Pittsburgh pro sports events. Close to shopping areas. Great place to stay in Pittsburgh. I'd go back anytime.

Didn't want to leave. Wonderful facility. Modern, clean, friendly. Desk clerk, wish I knew her name, actually remembered me and that I was worn out the day before! (Sightseeing overload! ) Great breakfast, comfy beds, convenient to the city in a semi tame way! Easy to get to Station Square area with minimal stress!

The entrance of the hotel can throw you off but keep going up the hill a few more yards. The stay here was amazing. You are surrounded by trees, staff is so accommodating and breakfast is tasty (egg & cheese omelette is a must try). You don't feel like you're in the city. Our late August visit had an evening symphony of crickets (inside you can't here them) and that morning air… The entrance has seating to soak it all in. Very relaxing. This hotel is also close to two of the city's highly rated pizzerias. We only tried one of them and it was de-lish-us.

Very nice stay. Location was great set off from the road. Rooms were great, bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was better than expected. Also they provide free shuttle service into and from town. Would definately recommend.

When we arrived on Sunday at 6:10 pm they had free wine, cheese and crackers set out. It was very welcoming. They also offered a free shuttle to and from downtown which was very nice. Hotel offered great suggestions for restaurants and was vey friendly and accommodating.

Bed was ridiculously comfortable. Breakfast area is on the smaller side which makes for a very packed morning, but good overall. Staff if kind and helpful. Great location for getting to places all around Pittsburgh.

If you're a non-smoker this is NOT the place to stay… the smoking lounge is at the front door and the lobby always smells of smoke. You always have to gag and pass through smoking to get to your car or to the elevator… forget your shower fresh hair because once you just walk through the front door you smell like smoke. On a good note, it's a quiet place and the eggs and waffles are good in the morning.

My dog always travels with me because I don't think he'd cope well in a kennel. So, when a hotel does dog boarding right I like to give it a plug. We needed a late checkout tomorrow to keep the dog in an air conditioned room during a reception. They granted us a late checkout — and then offered to walk our dog!? They gave us dog biscuits on check in?! Well done Hampton Inn. Happy dog, happy customer.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They had free shuttle service to downtown. This was convenient because we had tickets to the baseball game. I would stay here again just for that reason. The building is older. The walls seemed thinner than other locations bcz you could hear people in the hallways easier. Breakfast was good but very crowded. The room they have the food in does not support the number of guests that were trying to eat. Very difficult to wait in line to get food when so many people were in the room.

We stayed there last night and the night person didnt know what to do in case of someone getting sick ie puking. My son got sick and he is 4 so he got it on the carpet. We went downstairs to get something to clean it up and she had go search to find something. Finally found 409 so we used that to clean carpet and when we did the towel was black… ok I get carpet but then dis the same thing in the bathroom and the towel and water was filthy after cleaning it. It looked ok when we got in there but obviously there was no deep cleaning for a while. Rooms are small for two queen beds. But the beds are comfortable but after 14 hr drive I'm guessing anything would be comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay again. They were very friendly when I was checking in, and they gave me information on the shuttle into Pittsburgh. When I got to the room the AC was already on. They had a large variety of food for breakfast.

Not the best stay I ever had. The comforter had a slight oder. And I could hear everything through the walls. The service however was very nice. Everyone was very polite and sweet. I like that they offered free shavers, mouth wash, toothpaste etc. The breakfast was also very delicious. But again the room quality was disappointing. The air conditioner was a joke and hardly blew air.

This hotel is conveniently located off the interstate. It's less expensive and much quieter (except for the ice machine) than staying in the city and it's only a few minutes from whatever you wanna do! There's lots of useful stores and casual food options nearby. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I will stay again!

Very clean, newer hotel with comfortable, modern rooms. Good showers, fridge/microwave/coffee maker in room. Free Wi-Fi. Easy access off of I376. Friendly staff, large common area, decent breakfast. I would recommend not getting a room near the elevator/ice machine bc it was a bit noisy, but we would def stay again when we come back this hotel to the South Pittsburgh area.

We stayed in a king room. Room was clean and comfortable, the bed was cozy. Our room had a wardrobe instead of a built in closet, which was a little small, but still room to hang 6-7 clothing items. The free breakfast is well stocked — cereal, oatmeal, muffins, pastry, whole fruit, omlets, bacon, waffles, coffee, juice. The workout room has two treadmills, a seated bike, and an elliptical, plus a nice range of weights, mats, and medicine balls. Nicely located close to airport and downtown but away from crazy traffic.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms was very clean they keep you stock up with towels and wash rags and everything you need. The beds was big and comfortable. They have a pool and a nice fitness area. Hot breakfast in the morning! And the best part about this hotel is that they have a shuttle that take you in the city and drop you off to all the attractions and pick you up. You save a lot of money in parking that way. I loved it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was a typical Hampton Inn room that was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants choices within a 3 mile radius. Not a lot of outside noise because it is far enough away from the main roads. Very convenient access to I376 into downtown Pittsburgh.

Hotel was perfectly clean and staff was incredibly friendly and responsive when there was an issue. Particularly front desk worker Mike was great. In addition to that everything else that makes a good hotel was amounted for here.

Rooms, service, food, and families are as I have come to expect. Clean, serviceable, comfortable and welcoming.

So nice! Love the room set up, the desk moves and we had dinner at the desk table. Love the storage space and the clock to charge your devices. The light above the area by the window is a great night light (it turns off if you don't want one) room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Great as always Hampton breakfast. Schedule service amazing. Love it. Definitely will return again and again when its time to a return to Pitt. I was skeptical because all that was left was the room directly on the side of the elevator. Didn't hear a sound. Staff staff is wonderful so friendly. Ordered pizza and had it for guests when we returned from the game, fresh warm cookies out and coffee always fresh. Always love to stay at a Hampton property!

Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree is a very nice property to stay at. We were here on business and the warm and friendly atmosphere made you feel very welcome. Very nice and spacious rooms. The bathroom had great water pressure. Overall — I found the hotel to be very modern and clean. They also serve a nice fully stocked breakfast. I would definitely recommend it here!

Everything perfect. Spacious and well equipped, breakfast was excellent. To add, a lot, check out at 12 and location really quiet. Highly recommended!

Will be staying here again! Everything was great the room, breakfast, the shuttle, staff. I'm very picky too. I've checked in and out of rooms the same day. This hotel was clean very nice. I was very pleased with it. Stayed here for a Steelers game, the shuttle took us and picked us up. Great stay.

We stayed in the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree two nights ago. Our stay was very nice and the staff we very friendly and helpful. The morning we left I was replacing a fuse in my daughter's car. The hood was up and I was in the car under the dash. Jeff, the maintenance man, came over to the car and asked if I needed a jump. I told him that everything was fine, that I was just replacing a fuse. He came back with a fuse puller to make my job easier. I am well traveled, but have not had an experience like that at a hotel. Jeff's watchful eye and going out of his way to help a guest are what make us want to return to the same hotel. Clean, great service by all, reasonable, and that extra attentiveness. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn Greentree! Our room was very clean and new! Comfortable King sized bed. The free hot breakfast was awesome! Lots of great choices including scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and fresh biscuits, along with fresh fruit including grapefruit. Other choices were bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, fresh baked breads, and more! Great coffee also with great flavored creamers, as well as an assortment of teas and hot chocolate! The dining room was large and clean! Our driver on Saturday was awesome! He took us on a scenic route to the Strip which he recommended for us as we wanted to shop in a fun unique setting. He told us a lot about the history of the places we passed and made for an enjoyable ride! He also suggested some great places to eat and see, and was always very pleasant and eager to take us where we needed to go. The shuttle is great! Let them know when you want to go and call when you are ready to be picked up, and they are there quickly. The hotel was not near major roads and was very quiet. I am a bit of a germaphobe, and I would definitely recommend this hotel! I will never stay anywhere but a Hampton Inn! Thank you for a great experience.

This is the 2nd year we stayed at this hotel. Carla was so professional and considerate when there was a miscommunication with the room. Leah was always smiling early in the morning! The room was great with a king size bed. The breakfasts were fabulous. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Very quiet hotel. Close enough to the highway and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Very Happy. I stayed at the Hampton while my wife was a patient at Allegheny General Hospital. Used the shuttle service back and forth to hospital. Very helpful as driving in Pittsburgh is very stressful if you are not familiar. The room was very nice and clean. Staff was very good. When I checked out, I forgot my medication and left it in my room. I called back and they retrieved my medication and had the shuttle driver deliver to me at the hospital. All the shuttle drivers were very nice and helpful. I would recommend the Hampton Inn at Greentree to anyone. As opposed to some reviewers, I found the staff to be very nice and helpful.

It was a nice, clean room. Small, but we got the King Study room, so we knew that was likely, with a pull-out couch and a king bed. Nonetheless, despite a small size, it was comfortable. The mini fridge was a useful addition, and all of the electronics in the room worked properly. The access to the office was really nice, and it took the burn off of an inability to connect to the internet with our laptops, as they had two Macs for 24 hour use, as well as printers. We did deal with a rather rude woman behind the counter on the second day, but the two valet drivers we dealt with made up for it completely. They were extremely pleasant, and eager to please.
