I had my daughters birthday party in the Club room. The Salmon and Mac n Cheese are excellent! The staff is friendly and took care of all our needs. I will definitely have another party there.

Beautiful suite on the 4th floor! My husband called the front desk to ask for extra pillows, and within 10 minutes we had four extra pillows. Check-in was very quick, and the young lady at the front desk was very kind, and informative. My husband, and I are looking forward to our two night stay here.

I came in to Honeybrook for work and stayed 2 nights at this location. The first night was alright, however the mini fridge did not work, and the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. However my problems with the Waynebrook really start on my second night. During the second night I woke up around 4am with pressure in my head from my sinuses. After laying in bed for awhile I decided to go take a very steamy shower. Around 20 minutes after my shower (approx 530am) I am laying in bed trying to get a couple hour nap in before work. Then there is a pounding on my door. As I am trying to get up and get dressed the door was opened. The fire department and a hotel employee were there because my shower apparently triggered the fire alarm the hotel employee tried to say I was smoking in the room (I was not). After the fire department checked my room I laid back down again to hopefully get some rest. Then from the next room over (which was vacant) there was a chirping noise happening every few minutes that sounded like a smoke alarm with low batteries. At this point I realized that this inn is not a relaxing place so I called the desk to discuss my displeasure with the service. Upon calling Cliff answered the phone. I found out later that Cliff is also the owner. When explaining what happened he got a very smart attitude with me and was rather rude. It is rather sad that the owner/manager does not care enough about his guests to even attempt to fix the problem.

The bartender was very attentive and had an amazing personality which made the dinning more enjoyable. The food was delicious and the drinks even better.

Overpriced basic food. Slow service.

Was with a large group of friends golfing at nearby HoneyBrook Golf Club. Not from the area but it looked like one of the only places close for a good bite to eat and some drinks. We had a blast. The owner was so grateful we chose to come in on a late Sunday afternoon, he comped some drinks and gave us a tour of some of the other private bar and lounge areas in the hotel. It would make an awesome place to throw a party. The service was fantastic and the food was just right. Even though we came from an hour away, we will definitely come back for a fun night and live music. Wes, thanks for the hospitality and a great ending to our day!

Awesome food and awesome service. You need to try the Baconpoppy drink! It’s awesome! Ask Wes to make it for ya!

This was the best experience at a hotel I’ve ever had. The owner ate with us and was so engaged. I’m so glad that we found this place by mistake. We will be traveling from philly very soon.

Great establishment with a historic vibe and lots going on every month. Between the hotel, restaurant, and bars, this place has it all. Plus they do a ton of community driven events that really show they care about the area. The monthly Comedy show on the second Friday of every month is a must see! They bring in awesome talent that is pulled right from the best comedy clubs in downtown Philly and the surrounding areas. Plus tickets are cheap and there are even great group packages with food and beverage add ons!

My dinner club had their event there this week. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The owners accommodated our requests to create a great experience. This is an excellent local business that should be supported. Definitely consider for your group's events, and for the upcoming holiday season.

Their 5 dollar personal pizza on Mondays is standard cheese only. Do not be fooled. Spoke to the manager to tell him about false advertising, he was rude and dismissive. Not worth the trouble or time going.

Service was fast, friendly and pleasant.
Great beer list including some local beers. Now the best part — The food.
Not only was it served fast, fresh and hot but it was outstanding! I had a nice crock of some of the best French Onion Soup anywhere which was then upstaged by The prime rib dip sandwich.

Beautiful Inn in Amish country. Restaraunt and pub on site. Plenty of attractions and shopping nearby.

We love the new "Long Road Home" restaurant at the Waynebrook Inn. Good food and drink at good prices with a very responsive staff.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. The front desk clerk was lovely and welcoming as we arrived around 10pm. I highly recommend staying g here as it provides easy access to all of what Lancaster County has to offer.

Very friendly staff, hotel rooms are clean, lobster bisque if excellent, superior burgers and the rest of the menu items are fantastic.

Great place to host a wedding or reception! Wes and Cliff were fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and classic. Great place to take the wife for a weekend. Shady Maple isn't far and all that Lancaster has to offer is only minutes away. The rooms are clean and authentic to the time the hotel was built. Go enjoy!

The food was absolutely horrible they do not know how to make drinks as basic as a gimlet. Frozen products old cheesecake no restaurant experience at all it was obvious.

The staff was very nice and accommodating! Room was great! Highly recommend this place!

Just stopped in for take out but the food was delicious & the employees were pleasant and helpful. The decor is very trendy & tasteful. People there were dressed both casual and business casual. There is a bar in the restaurant & also another bar below the restaurant with it's own entrance.

I highly recommend The Long Way Home. I've spent time in both the restaurant and pub and enjoy both. The lobster bisque and cheese steak tots are great. I love the BBQ pizza — it's super flavorful. If you are looking for a salad the lemon vinaigrette is a great go-to.
I've tried a few of the drinks and haven't been disappointed yet. My current favorites are the Red Velvet and the Captain Cliff. I've had a great time every time I've been here.

The service was poor. After 1/2 hour our party of 6 had to go find a waitress/server. After getting our correct drinks. Alcholhol content was at a 0. Had to send back. 2 nd try was ok. Our appitiezer was cold with no chicken as ordered. (nachos with beans and chicken) our variaous dinners were ok for pub food. But NOT for the " fine dinning " prices we paid. We don't mind paying a bit more but only if food is excellent. Ps. Desserts were very poor also with a high price tag.
We will give them a try again in a bit to see if they can bring it up to the Prices they are charging and the service required to run smoothly. We will not try dinner… only lunch.
So if your looking for pub food at a fine dinning price and very poor service… give it a try.
Looking forward to seeing this establishment improve greatly as I am a local and would give them business.

Nice atmosphere, great wait staff, much better menu (burgers, pizza, steak, pasta). Only complaint was undercooked salmon. Will give it another try.

The new resturant : The Long Way Home is great. Food was delicious and great value. Colleen our waitress was awesome. Definitely going back.

The atmosphere is great, nicely lit and well laid out tables/design, the open kitchen is pretty cool too. Pricing is a little high for the portions you get, the pizza is amazing, so crunchy and unique combinations of ingredients, the burger is definitely fresh and the Mac attack is good, could be cheesier, was a little dry. The cheesesteak tots are good as well but again a little dry, not enough sauce. But all in all very good food! Only restaurant in town and will certainly be a hotspot! So glad this place is here!

My family went to the new restaurant (Long Way Home Pub and Grill) this evening for their opening day. Couldn't believe how smooth and polished everything looked given the soft opening. You can tell that there is a lot of restaurant experience among both the management and staff. Food exceeded expectations. If you like sweet sauce on pizza, you can't go wrong with that option. Cheese steak tater tots also great. Restaurant and decor very nice as well. Definitely worth a stop to check it out!

Waynebrook Inn has just been purchased by new owners and is under new management. We found our stay here to be very enjoyable mostly due to the new owners attitude and friendliness. This is a beautiful hotel with a taste of the past. The area is exceptionally nice with lots of good places to eat, shop or just visit. The restaurant was closed when we were there but I have no doubt the new owners will have it opened in no time and it will be fantastic.

Well mannered and efficient front desk and phone concierge. Spacious and comfortable king size rm. All amenities, yet quaint and kid friendly. New management, so I'm confident they'll address the shower head being broken in rm 218.

Everyone their was nice. Know problem with are big group just hanging out thier. Was nice and clean.

My husband went to check in tonight at 10:00 to find the door open, he went in and called the number on the front desk and the phone rang on the desk. He searched the hotel but couldn't find anyone working. There were four other people waiting to check in as well. He waited until 10:40 and ended up leaving and having to find a nearby motel as he has o work early tomorrow morning. He was called at 11 by Waynebrook Inn and told that there was a shift change and noone was available and they apologized, but he had already paid for the nearby motel. I am really hoping they can get this resolved tomorrow as he was supposed to be staying until Friday at Waynebrook. 40 minutes to 1 hour is a long time to expect guests to wait for service while calling the number and noone being in the hotel.

The inn was old and rustic which was cool but the bed was something to be desired. We woke up with sore backs and the shower was so tiny the shower head was literally an inch from your face.

Excellent and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

I just went there to play Pokemon Go.

We went there for the tough mudder event and stayed two days. When we first arrived, the elevator was out of service and we carried our bags to the third floor. The coffee machine that we had in our room was in rust and dirt. We requested a new one but the owner suggested us to use the coffee machine which is at the ground floor. We booked the hotel for 2 days $250 on EXPEDIA. It was clearly mentioned that tax was included the price but hotel charged us extra $25 for tax. When we asked why they told us they always charge tax with no other explanation. When we told them we need our refund, they just told us someone whose name is Holly booked it and she can understand it. We wanted them to ask her but they told us she was not in the hotel and they couldn`t call her which is super weird. The second night we also heard gun shots at the street. We asked to the front desk guy too. He was nice but he was also ignorant. Before we arrived the hotel, I asked if they have a hair dryer and his answer was no. So we had to stop by Wallmart and bought one. When we arrived the hotel, I saw there was one in our room. Bottom line, rude/ignorant management and staff, double charged tax, terrible location. Never book this hotel. Go for the others!

Great little historic inn. Very quiet and private. Great personable manager!

My stay here has been amazing. The entire inn is beautiful, old feel with updated amenities. The room I'm in is enormous and comfortable, I've slept like a baby. While I've stayed here Holly has treated my family and I like family guests in her home and made us feel like royalty, she really has gone above and beyond. Next time I need lodging anywhere close to this area, this will be me 1st choice.

First of all… the hotel is OPEN! We stayed the weekend and were literally treated like guests… not hotel guests… but "Welcome to our home" guests. There aren't words to describe how wonderful the Waynebrook Inn and the staff who work there are. They made us feel at home and made SURE we were happy the whole time we stayed. The decor of the updated rooms is plush and inviting. You could literally spend an afternoon walking around the hotel looking at the artwork, chatting with the staff, or curling up with a book from the library. The beds are layered in comforters and duvets and invite you to lay down and rest. Charm abounds everywhere you look. Absolutely incredible. If you go anywhere near Honey Brook staying here is a MUST! We WILL be back!

Quaint place in the midst of Hicksville (Honey Brook, PA). Classy bistro and modern vintage decor. It's an old style inn from the 1800s. The 'continental breakfast' was merely a few pastries, cereal, do it yourself waffles, some very strong coffee, and a few other items. It was very clean and spacious. Quiet even with the bar downstairs. Definitely a gold mine in the wrong location! Must stop sleep and eat here if you ever find yourself in the area.

NOT a "Family Friendly" hotel at all. We stayed there with other family members taking up 4 rooms, and with our 10 month old baby. The bar in the basement was so damned loud that the baby didn't get to sleep until after midnight, and that was just from exhaustion from all the crying and fussing over being jolted awake by all the noise every time he almost got to sleep many times before. Having an extra floor in between the bar and our room didn't help either, probably helped amplify it. Instead of an apology from the desk attendant, all I got was a "you should have known better than to bring a baby into a hotel with a bar in the first place. " How the hell was I supposed to know there was a loud ass bar in the basement? I didn't book the rooms, nor did I see any advertisement that a bar was in the basement when I looked at their home page. If I had known, I definitely would have book us separately up at the Holiday Inn.

Stumbled upon Sunday brunch. Wow what a surprise. Enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Thank u.

Tuesday night is burger night. Try the bar downstairs. Great personalized service.

We made a reservation online for the Waynebrook in on 01/11/10, on 01/29/2010 they actually already charged our credit card. We called right away to find out why and were told this is only a hold, not to worry, which still seemed very unusal because the socalled hold was for the entire room charge. But we trusted the frontdesk agent and hoped everything was ok. On the day of our arrival we called ahead to confirm the reservation once more and ask for an early check in. At that time someone answered the phone, who wasn't at all familiar with "the system" and could not tell us if we even had a reservation at all. We were left in limbo about it for almost 2 hours, when they finally called back and confirmed the reservation, however it wasn't for the king jacuzzy suite, which the original reservation was for, it was only for the queen jacuzzy suite — but after the first shock we were only glad to have a room. When we finally got to check in, the "manager" dawn asked for our credit card — we explained again, that the room had already been charged to our credit card on 01/29/10. She didn't believe us, even though we showed her our bank records and called our bank herself, where it was confirmed that YES our credit card had been actually charged. Instead of maybe apologizing for HER MISTAKE she seemed very annoyed with us — we have never experienced such unprofessional behavior at any hotel! Yes, the room was clean, but the temperature kept on climbing and we couldn't regulate it.

My mother and I stayed for the weekend, in order to go to the Amish Herb farm as well as to see "Sight and Sound". This place was TERRIBLE. The room was clean and well furnished and the cleaning staff nice, but it ended there. On Friday there was a DJ, it was so loud that you hear THUMP THUMP THUMP, not only in the restaurant where we were trying to have a nice meal, but then all night in my room! Then on Saturday, they had a band, it was even louder. Not only was it thumping, you could hear every word as if the band was right here in the restaurant and in my room. If I had wanted to listen to a bad rendition of Nirvana's Teen Spirit, I would have gone to a frat house, which is where I felt I was. When I asked why they felt it was appropriate to expect people to eat a nice meal and sleep with music blaring, I was told that "music would filter in anywhere and I should accept it. Well, it was not just "filtering in". It was shaking the table! It was beyond ridiculous. They then said we could move the sports bar, with televisions playing a football game and men yelling at the screen. Then in the middle of night, my mother was awoken by a bar brawl between two men that had moved to the parking lot outside her window. I would NEVER go to this "Inn" and I use the word loosely, again.
