Smells like dog piss outside my room spent the first five minutes beating up a crackhead outside my room.

Recent partial renovations. Very comfortable beds, new mattresses, nice employees.

Wonderful hotel! They were so nice to my family there. We stayed 1 night while driving to Colorado from jersey. My son got to play in the gym and get some steam out. They had a fun Lego table he played with right in front while we got the room. Everything was clean and fresh. And the free breakfast was just right with many healthy options. We actually joked we will find an attraction near by just to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Outside surroundings beautiful. Rooms had odor. Bathroom tiny. Showers hot to cold to hot again. Water not regulated well. Picnic shelter was wonderful.

Hidden gem! Family and I went there for a overnight vacation at the last minute on a HOT Pittsburgh day. Swam all day! Room was clean. Nice little porch. Friendly staff! I would do a mini vacation there again to enjoy the area and the pool. Ps I am VERY picky about hotel rooms. I felt comfortable staying there.

The hotel meets all the basic needs plus a few extras. They recent rennovated (fresh paint smell still in the air) and have things like directv, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. They also have free breakfast in the mornings. The staff was friendly and attentive to guest needs. All in all, it is a basic hotel — somewhere safe and clean for a nights stay. I would visit again if in the area.

I was an in and out visitor but the room was clean and the bed was fine. Just what I needed. The breakfast was pretty small though.

Great place where I celebrated a family reunion! Could hold almost all of my family. The pool was amazing and I loved the picnic area in the back of the hotel. The only tiny problem I experienced was the showers in the bathroom of the hotel room. They were spacious but the shower heads were a bit wonky.

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. The beds we're a tad hard/firm. This location has a pool. Would recommend to friends and colleagues.

We travel from Michigan to Virginia Beach a couple of times each year and the Donegal Days Inn is just about the half-way point for us. Granted it doesn't have a lot of amenities but it's perfect for price and cleanliness as an overnight stay. Besides… it's right across the road from a Dairy Queen!

A basic hotel off the main highway in Donegal Pennsylvania. Close to places to eat and quick access to main roads. The front office staff on day shift on Friday 03/09/18 was very nice and helpful.

Wonderful accommodation, great service, drive up to room, modern bathroom, very clean, WONDERFULLY COMFORTABLE BEDS, lots of pillows, soft comforters, pet friendly, coffee pot, large mini fridge, quick microwave. Close to interstate. Customer service stellar. Will definitely return.

Place was decent and clean but the room we got had a terrible cigarette smell even though we asked for a non-smoking room. After complaining, we were changed to another room but this one smelled too, less than the other one but still noticeable. We stayed in this last one as it was late at night and we just wanted to rest. Other than that, hotel was ok for the price.

Well kept and comfortable stay. The price is right and the access during winter to three ski resorts. This franchisee is very lucky.

Just bad, very thin walls u can hear everything going on next to u. Check in was no efficient. Shower dirty with mildew clogging shower head which is chest level. Water pressure low. It is cheap but I will not stay again. Only good thing is HAD flat screen newer TV's. But had bad loud neighbors yelling all night.

Friendly staff, clean room and nice breakfast! There was no hot water Friday morning when we checked out but overall would stay again for sure.

Nice hotel with everything you need to stay the night, friendly staff and easy access from the highway. I stayed here before going skiing at Hidden Valley and it was convenient how easy it was to get from the resort to the hotel.

Clean. Reasonable price. Two bars of soap (one for the shower, one for the sink) and shampoo (and conditioner). Free breakfast. What else do you need for a quick stop during your travels.

Very nice staff. Extremely accomodating. Rooms are a little outdated but has fridge microwave and decent bed.

The Days Inn Donegal is one of the better properties in the chain. It's right off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and close to Fallingwater. The bathroom in my room had recently been updated and the beds are comfortable. A fine place to stay.

The staff was proficient and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean, neat, and nicely stocked. The breakfast was good with a nice selection.

Nothing particularly good or bad, pretty much what you'd expect I guess. The staff didn't exactly come across as particularly friendly. The included breakfast is the bare minimum assortment of dry cereal from dispensers, make your own waffle maker thing, etc. Hard to find a decent place to eat in the area after 9PM.

Beds surprisingly comfy, bathrooms clean, nearby a few food places so it's a good place to stop at for the night if you're going cross country.

Found room to be clean and beds very comfy. Hotel is pet friendly and plenty of open area to walk pets. Would stay here again.

Great hotel just off the PA Turnpike, nice landscaped grounds, outdoor pool is great for a summer afternoon swim. You can see the traffic thru the trees on the turnpike but amazingly it's still fairly quiet. Hotel seems to be in the process of renovating their rooms.

Nice place. Clean. Problem with toilet but only temporary. Breakfast was good. Great you have 3 kids to feed.

It was close to the events we wanted to do. The staff at front desk great. Except when I could not reach them on 2 concerns. We did get the connecting rooms we asked for. But our room smelled of a mixture of animals etc. Plus some areas of housekeeping was not what we expected. But could have been a reason. Breakfast was fine. Just right. Was given great directions etc when needed and when we checked in.

Awesome! We have our family reunion at the Donegal Days Inn every year. Over 25 years! No complaints! Clean updated rooms. Great breakfast in the mornings. The staff is always willing to help in any way. We love the pavilion with a full kitchen. The family that owns it are like family to us. We love Arien! Don't hesitate. Call and book your family reunion!

Adequate for a one night stay. Definitely an older hotel. Not the cleanest, and had kind of a musty smell, but the bed was OK, the shower and cable TV worked, and the staff was friendly. The "free" breakfast was worth what you pay for it, with the ubiquitous waffle machine, cold cereal and instant oatmeal. Nothing in the way of fresh hot food, otherwise. Convenient location and reasonably priced.

Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is aging, but it's still a good, cheap and comfortable option.

Front desk staff was helpful and courteous during my late check-in. Provided me an option on interior or an exterior room since I booked a room with a single king bed. Super quiet hotel. Well appointed and comfortabe room while on the road. Excellent continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Days Inn is the best hotel for a quick stay or long term. Cordial staff at both locations I stayed at & good breakfast & oh yeah no bed bugs.

Everything was very satisfactory, but nothing more. The Days Inn functioned simply as a place to sleep.

Great innkeeper, nice rooms and a well maintained inn. Quick access to Laurel Mountain at a reasonable rate. Very quiet and clean, perfect for the weekend getaway to Pennsylvania's state parks.

This place is a total joke. They charged me once for a booking that I had to change. After the said there would be no charge for the booking change. They even sent a confirmation email stating there would be no charge for the change. They also charged me twice for the night I did stay. This place is a total F@ joke. Their entire management should be replaced. I'll never stay there again. I encourage you to drive 2 min up the road to Holiday Inn. By the way! They still own me $80 that they haven't reimbursed.

Wish I could give no stars. This place does not deserve even one star. Room and bed linens were dirty, TV did not work, semi truck got stuck in drive and blocked us in hotel for 3 hours (there was a sign that said no trucks but a hotel employee had them park out back during a blizzard! really! ), called hotel manager several times without a return phone call. These place is nasty and dirty! Never stayed in a days inn and this will be the last time. Thanks for trying to ruin or ski trip days inn! you failed we still had fun. We stayed here because of the ok reviews. I dont know what is wrong with ppl but this place needs shut down. I guess it may be an improvement over the trailer park! There is a Holiday inn express down the road. Wish I had know!

Rooms were as expected and felt clean. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful.

We only spent one night in this place, but it was very pleasant. Although this is not a new building, it is clear that the owner takes good care of it. The room was large, clean, and modern. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was terrific! The staff was also kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to get a good night's sleep.

Oh my gosh. People please stop saying that this hotel is nice, terrific, and clean. My husband booked this hotel last week because of the positive reviews! Now, I understand that everyone has different expectations, but this place is poor at best. We arrived after 10pm, and I was so upset upon seeing the inside of the place that my husband went back out and drove around looking for a different hotel while I sat on the very edge of the bed fully clothed. Unfortunately, he could find only one other place (Holiday Inn Express), and it was fully booked (I understand why). After this visit, I now know where my mother's wagon wheel type kitchen furniture from the sixties ended up. Here. The hotel has not been remodeled in at least thirty years. Although I must agree that our room was dusted and vacuumed, a little windex and a vacuum cannot remove thirty years of ground in dirt, stains, mold and mildew. The towels were so thin you could literally see through them, and the mattress soooo soft that I had to take an anti-inflammatory pill to killl the back pain the next morning. When I pulled back my polyester faded bedspread there was a CRUMB in the bed. And there were dead bugs in the light fixture in the bathroom (at least I think they were dead). I instructed my ten year old son to keep his shoes on at ALL times. My son thought it was cool that the room had a safe.

While traveling to New York City to deliver donations to victims of Hurricane Sandy, we made a pit stop at 3 am at this hotel. I had made a reservation the previous evening and I had accidentally booked a room for the following week. When I explained my error to the hotel clerk, she rudely told me there was nothing she could do about it. She said she could not move the reservation. Since we were exhausted, I paid for the room for that evening (after driving 8 hours) and decided to sort it out the next morning. To top it off, the room was filthy. The bathroom had dirt on the sink and on the toilet. Since the door led to outside, the noise from the highway made it difficult to sleep. In the morning, the continental breakfast consisted of frozen waffles, stale pastries, and cereal. When I discussed the issue of moving the reservation when we were leaving, the day manager insisted that only the general manager could take care of our issues. Over the course of the next few weeks, my husband and myself called and left messages on several occasions to explain our situation (since we were charged a total of two nights for a 4 hour stay). Our calls were never returned. Finally, I contacted the Days Inn corporate office (this is a franchise location) to explain our situation. The customer service representative told me there was no reason they could not have changed the reservation the first night and assured that someone would call. Nobody ever contacted us.

The clerk at the front desk was very rude. This whole experience could have turned out a lot different with a little tact and better management. The room was clean, but the staff decided to charge my hotel bill for another person's night because they screwed up and didn't charge them appropriately. My checkout bill did not reflect this. I found out about it when I balanced my credit card. I quickly called the hotel to correct it, but they said they could not remove the charges, because someone had to pay and the night auditor chose my credit card. "are you kidding me? " I advised the clerk that I was gong to file a dispute with my credit card company. She said, "go ahead. " I immeidiately called my credit card company and had them remove the charges. What a joke. This place will never get my business again.

While the woman at the front desk was very friendly, the rooms were horrific. Rooms are way over-priced for what you get. We have stayed in much nicer places for less. The rooms were very outdated and sabby. The bathroom doorknob did not work properly and was practically hanging off the door. I made the mistake of taking a bath. The water was an odd brownish yellow color and I could not run the bath water without the shower head spraying water at the same time. It got even better when I learned my bath water leaked into the room below us. Gave up on the bath and went to bed only to be awakened around 3:00 am by a dying smoke detector. My husband called the front desk. Whoever was working it at this point could have cared less so we unplugged the thing from the wall and to keep from hearing its continual mutterings, I threw it outside. No comment on the breakfast as we were just happy to leave and did not bother with it. Can not believe I paid over $100 a night for such a dive! Do not make the same mistake I did. There appears to be few options in that area of PA, but after moving on and driving through Somerset I wished we had stayed there instead.
