The hotel is clean and has recently been painted, however there is no getting around the fact that it is showing its age. The room furnishings are dated, as is the decor. The beds were quite firm. They didn't seem old or lumpy, just hard. The "continental breakfast" is very limited. The motel is in a highly desirable area with easy access to local shops and restaurants as well as area attractions. The pool was lovely and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel is outdated. Literally a flash back from the 80s. Not maintained well. Wifi barely works. Rooms are not that clean. Pool was nice but extremely crowded. Overnight other visitors had a party at the parking area and made it an nightmare to fall a sleep. If you can avoid. It might worth spending $20, $30 more to get a room in one of the other hotels in the area.

Did not have a good experience at all. Everything was very dirty and I did not feel comfortable at all staying in the hotel. I got critical allergies while staying there. When we checked in, the lady in front was very nice and helped us as much as she can but the man that took over for her later on had an attitude and was disrespectful. There are a few different hotels around that area and it would probably be a better idea to stay at one of those.

The best thing about the stay was the front desk person. The room was dirty and stains were on the walls, furniture and even the sheets. We had to get clean sheets and remake the beds. Location is fine as it is easy on and off the highway. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this property. Again best part of this stay was the front desk staff.

Restaurant servers good food and the wait staff was friendly. Over all the place is lacking general maintenance and upkeep. I was going to give 2 stars but the pool was kept warm enough to take our baby in and he had a great time.

While older hotel, very clean, neat rooms ready with frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Bed very comfortable. Nice restaurant, free limited continental breakfast, very reasonable room rate. Best of all, helpful and friendly staff. These days having staff practice kind, professional 'Customer Service' is becoming a little lax, so we genuinely appreciated the night manager's friendly check-in assistance. Also had Tractor/Trailer parking area available that we were happy to use with our 60' Truck and Horse Transport Trailer.

Pretty ok place, superb access to stores and highways. Great for kids and families. Restaurant could use some work, parking lot also. Location is key, this has a great location.

The place is decent, it can definitely receive and update as the whole place looks to be from the 90's. Room size is decent, indoor pool is heated and large comparing to hotel in this size range. Staff is friendly. Complementary breakfast has limited selection. Good price a quick stay.

I️ loved this place! Went there with my boyfriend and got snowed in the whole time so I️ was worried at first but we made friends with the bartender and the server. Jeremey was the best! The staff is also super nice. The pool area is super nice. We went to the chili’s across the st a bunch of times. This place was great.

Pool was warm and beautiful. Rooms as pictured. I booked 2 queen beds and was given room with 2 double beds although they said "2 queens" as I checked in. No elevator so you have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. Free breakfast is bagels or sliced bread and cereal but they do have restaurant that is delicious and inexpensive.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. A swimming pool, gym, BBQ Place. Clean tidy.

1.5 Stars. We arrived at 4:11 pm and check in. Hall carpet dirty. Thay have a no pets policy but me and my family saw a dog walking in the hall and it poop on the floor. The only modern thing in the room is the coffee maker, everything else is from the 90's. Pillow cases dirty. The promotion in price line is breakfast included but when we talked to the front desk girl she said that milk, juice, tea, cold cereal, toast and beagel is incluided in the "continental brakefast" if you ask for something else they charge you. Swimming pool area feels like an oven, and the entire place is like nobody ever take care of it in a while. The pictures in price line are from where they openned. This is a family short vacation so we're going to get the best out of it and enjoy it. But for the price we paid and the place is not worth it.

Stay away! Dirty hallways, carpet are just gross and tons of buckles in the rug in the hallways, watch your step! Mold in the bathtub and under the sink. We've stayed here for the past 3 years and this was the last time! Running and yell and people banging on doors all night! I called the front desk around midnight and was told " there is no manager on duty so he couldn't help me but would let the management know". This place is a joke! Rude staff! When we checked out we weren't even asked how our stay was! We are canceling our stay for August! We will never stay here again! Just pay the extra and stay some place nicer!

Clean hotel in convenient location. Pool is nice, but gets crowded. Restaurant service was very slow despite not a lot of people, and continental breakfast minimal. Overall, it served our needs, but was nothing special.

Thanks for the great stay! I could say I was surprised at the price! A nice and warm pool the biggest theme pool I have seen! now you need to get some themed wild life outside — yes! The room was pretty nice for the price I could have paid double elsewhere (I have), a very helpful crew is a good thing to have in a hotel could not have asked for more. Thanks Guys I am pretty sure I will be back!

Very Dirty Hotel. Dated and not clean. Room carpet is filthy. Chair in room was stained dirty and torn. Walls had stains and rips in wall paper. Stains on the ceiling. The hall ways smell of smoke and are dirty with carpet rolled up causing tripping hazards. This by far the dirtiest HOTEL I have been in for years. It is dark, hallways are dimly lit, doors are chipped and need repair, extensions run in the rooms for lamps, some receptacles had six plugs in a two plug outlet, smoke detector did not work. Rooms are noisy and I used the heating fan in the ON position to cover the road noise. Check the room and hallway before paying! The other reviews on Google must be involved with Management. This is a very dirty HOTEL.

08/29/15 I was hesitant in booking this hotel for my family after reading the reviews. But I did book it. I was happy with the room and the restaurant. The breakfast was very good and reasonably price. my room was very good. Compared to other 2, 5 star hotel. It was clean and the price I paid for it on priceline was excellent. Overall the hotel met my expectation. It did have a incense smell throughout the hotel. The pool was very well kept and the landscape was immaculate. keep in mind this is not the Marriott. I would stay here again.

Spent a few days in a mini vacation with my daughter while my husband worked. Pool was great, room was clean. Reasturant waitress was not very nice or able to keep up but otherwise over all GREAT STAY! We will be back soon!

This place is mediocre. When you walk in it says "oward Johnson" because the sign is missing an H. There was a lot of ice in the front drop off area which concerned me. The front desk staff was ok. The restaurant staff was great. There is no free continental breakfast at this site which was advertised on expedia. There are also no elevators so we had to make numerous trips up and down the stairs carrying our bags to the second floor. The TV was about 20 years old and I could not even make out what I was looking at. Everything was an orange blur. There was no way for me to hook up the dvd player I brought or change the color settings. There were unsupervised children screaming and running up and down the hall at midnight. The rooms were clean except for a pretzel under the chair. Overall it was ok, as long as you don't expect much from a Howard Johnson. But 281.00 for two nights is unreasonable for this place.

The people who work here they did a great job we forgot my daughters iPod and they look the entire room to find it and they ship it back to me I appreciate all your effort guys two thumbs up very honest people.

My family stayed here last weekend, overall it sufficed as a place to stay but definitely needs some attention (maintenance and outdated appliances). The main lobby and pool were gtg but rooms and hallways smell like smoke and old carpet. Will not stay again.

It's a much nicer interior than you would expect when you drive by. Clean, with good, fresh coffee available at all times, well-kept pool (open long hours, good temp) and nice exercise room with professional, fully functional equipment (I have often found broken equipment in more expensive hotels). I stayed for 4 days and found that all staff with whom I interacted were friendly, helpful and kind. That includes the front desk, restaurant staff, and management (whom I met accidentally — — I had no complaints). It's also conveniently located next to several reliably good chain restaurants and a large grocery store, with easy on/off access to Route 80.

Very comfortable and very clean at an excellent price. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. A definite winner.

My Wife and 3 kids stayed 1 night for snow tubing @ camelback. We found the room to be I good condition. (we requested to look before hand) The pool was great and warm after you where in of course. The only down side was the ceiling décor for the restaurant. Absolutely terrible. 1980's plastic leaf covering. If that was removed I would rate this a five star for a a basic room motel. The front desk manager was very pleasant and when I spoke to him in regards to his online reviews and wanting to confirm a clean room. He gave us 10% off Hey for $69. We will return.
