Arrived around 4p to check in. No one else was around other than part of my group. The front attendant was not wearing a mask when we arrived, nor did he put one on at any point as we were interacting. Which was great! I believe in free breathing. Once to our room the headboard had handprints where someone had previously “enjoyed” their stay. It’s disgusting it wasn’t cleaned. I reported this to the front desk attendant. He apologized and I asked that it be cleaned. He gave me ONE wet wipe. I asked for more and he obliged. He did not offer to actually have the room cleaned or give another room. Poor customer service. As the evening went on we found more dirty items in our room, including a gummy stuck to the ceiling, wrappers on the bathroom floor and a clump of hair in the bathroom. Thankfully I had sanitizing wipes and cleaned the whole room. The pool made my sons skin bright red and he complained of his skin and privates hurting after swimming. He had to take a shower to stop the burning. This has NEVER happened to him before and he swims regularly. I went down stairs about 8:30 to get some water. All of a sudden masks are required. I asked if he would just hand me a couple of waters (same attendant before) and he said no. I said I can’t grab them, he said not without a mask. I again reminded him we had interacted all day without masks and nothing was said. He just looked at me. I asked him again, can you please just hand me some waters. He said he couldn’t help me without a mask. I don’t know how this hotel has gotten the reviews it has. Spend your money elsewhere! It’s been a pathetic experience at best. Only positive I can say is the showers have good water pressure. Although there are clear leaks as the ceiling in our shower looks like it’s about to fall through and has clear water damage.
