Everything! Short staff front desk person was also running back and forth as she was bartender and manager. Could not get anyone to answer front desk phone. Wouldn’t take a shower as the shower was disgusting along with toilet. The manager had explained the maids don’t show up sometimes for 5 days. Never will I book a room at Holiday Inn!

Hotel seems to be very outdated — room was spacious, but sink faucet wouldn’t turn off, toilet had to be flushed multiple times, and you stood on ankle deep of water while showering. No towels in the room upon arrival and we had to request them which I thought was strange. Breakfast wasn’t complimentary, which confused everyone who came down. We ended up paying over $30 for my husband & I to eat eggs & sausage with our toddler. Pool was extremely dingy, stains all throughout, appeared it’s not cleaned regularly. I typically don’t leave reviews, but we’ve never had a bad experience at Holiday Inn’s. Wouldn’t recommend this one.

Room satisfied my trip to Greensboro for a conference. The young lady that checked me in and out exceeded customer service levels 1000%. Shes the real MVP and hate that I dont have her name. Hotel is under renovation and the fire alarm malfunctioned at 230am to all our dismay. Stuff happens ehh. Gentleman working the desk overnight lacked any customer service training on how to at minimal apologize for the hotel issues. Bathroom in my room had a sewage odor. The bar and restaurant downstairs is nice to not have to go out, bartender and food were great. Would consider staying again after renovations are complete.

Totally and completely disgusting! Room was filthy when we checked in and had food left from previous tenants! I have begged, literally begged on a daily basis for our room to be cleaned. On day 4 now and stuck due to convention in town. Still haven’t had room cleaned or bed made one time. Garbage has piled up. No towels or toilet paper for four days! To top it off, the desk clerk said I had no right to complain due to them being short staffed! Avoid this place like the plague or you might get the plague!

This hotel is so big and nice the people are amazing.

I recommend even though we had a horrible person during check in — — Mr. Bo had an attitude from the get go.

Great place, quiet, great staff, great food. Try it!

Positives first. The staff was great. I had friendly interactions with all of them. Rooms are outdated but clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was not great, but decent, and the dining area has been modernized. As others noted, this place is under renovation but I could not see where work was being done. Yes, there are marks on the doors and walls. There are no power outlets beside the beds, which is baffling. Still, my stay would have been fine had I not woke up to find a huge roach crawling up the wall above the TV. Not some tiny bug either, that thing was easily 3 inches long and had no business being in a room you pay money for. The staff tried their best to compensate me, and I appreciate that. But I will not be staying there again.

The staff is very nice and pleasant. The hotel is undergoing a "renovation", however the walls and doors to rooms were very dirty. Some of the renovations to the rooms are incomplete and done haphazardly. The elevator walls are beaten and heavily scratched up. The fitness center smelled like cat urine! They should have closed off floors to fully complete renovations and paint each room/floor before having guest. I will not come back to this particular location or recommend it.

First, the people I dealt with were very pleasant. The lobby area was nice and clean. Coffee and cookies greet you. However, the hotel is showing it's age. All the room doors and the hallways are beat up from what I assume are the cleaning carts. My room smelled musty but it was clean. The counter in the bathroom is pushing against you as you use toilet because it is so close. Overall, it was nice though. Signs posted saying under renovation.

The hotel is under much needed renovation. My room was 215. The tub was in need of caulking. There was a light bulb straight up missing in the bathroom. I even found hair on the ceiling (which had bubbling paint). There was a light by there door which, when the switch was turned off, the light kept flickering. They have no vending, just an expensive and mostly empty market area by the front desk. There toilet handle was nearly inaccessible due to the location of the counter. And there is no free breakfast! We were in town only one night, thankfully. I know they're renovating, but come on. Every fixture in your units should have a light bulb in it and clean, sufficient caulk in the bathroom. These basic things give guests faith that your rooms are clean and well cared for; an impression I did not leave with.

Everyone I've met here is super friendly. The lobby is super clean and the bar has a nice beer selection. I highly recommend the quesadillas from the restaurant. Overall I can tell this hotel is well-ran and kept tidy. Don't think you'll regret a visit here!

Hotel was very nice. But, with paying over $100 a night, you do Not get free breakfast you have to pay $10.95 per person to eat, you can't bring your food up to your room to eat it, you have to eat it downstairs. The remote was beat up and tape on the back, our plug for the bathtub didn't work. The front desk some of them were rude! Overall the hotel is very nice, pool is outstanding. But the for the price of it a night they should be more lenient with little things.

Rooms are good. Overall environment is very pleasant. Little issue with drinking water. But is manageable for good people. Staffs are always helpful.

Room was ok, not a lot of outlets to plug all of my devices to charge. There was some kind of water leak between the shower and the toilet that never dried up. Had to leave towels on the ground so I did not step in it. There were signs saying that they are updating the rooms. Hopefully, the things I mentioned will be addressed.

Super super excited everytime I visit! Extremely customer service focused, clean and accommodating! Shana was a bonus and really kind to my overly inquisitive preteens! Great meeting rooms, dining areas and lobby. We should be back in October!

The staff is an absolute "10" Jay and Devon especially, were amazing! They both remained professional during probably one of the busiest weekends ever. Upon arrival our room type was not what we reserved and rooms with king beds were the only type available. My party was 4 adults 3 children and we were given 2 rooms with 1 king in each… (NOT HAPPY). Yes it's already been stated that the hotel is under renovation, however, the cleanliness of the hallways, baseboards missing in the bedrooms and a few other unpleasant experiences made for an uncomfortable stay. Had the immediate area not been sold out last weekend, we probably would have left. Hats off to your staff for standing with this location, and hopefully things will improve there soon.

They were going through construction at the time, I guess getting a “make over” but to be honest, I’m not sure what they were making over! I’ve seen better Holiday Inns! We had the room for a full weekend and with that being said, we got locked out of our room because the front desk deactivated our key for whatever reason they said … It smelled funny in the hall AND the dog that was there barked every time the wind blew … I didn’t even know YOU COULD HAVE DOGS THERE! All in all, I’ve had better! The price was NOT worth the stay either!

The hotel is located in an area that seems pretty central to shops etc. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the building does seem to be a bit on the older side. However, they're currently renovating the rooms which is great. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here.

Well I'm the one who took the pictures and I'm the chef who cooked all the items you see on the photos. Our guest are surprisingly good with the Great food that comes out looking and tasting better than what you also have seen… Thanks! Everyone who visited the photos!

I always have a very enjoyable experience at the breakfast buffet, courtesy of Krystal, a most excellent hostess. The buffet, could be better… food needs to be hotter on the steam tables… and I prefer my bacon crisp. ☺

Clean hotel, breakfast was good at hotel, watress was friendly and helpful. Not much to do near the hotel, no food within walking distance. Van was able to drive within 5 miles to local restaurants.

Check in was friendly and efficient, room was very clean, and shuttle driver was very friendly as well. Nice airport hotel.

Nothing special but I love it. Its got a bar and banquet room, really quiet and tucked away.

For the price you can’t ask for any better! Staff was wonderful. Drinks at the bar were strong! Food was actually good too. We had awesome weather in November and sat outside at the fire pit also ate breakfast the next morning outside. Comfy and cozy area. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

It's not the building that I was impressed with; it was the people. Ebony, at the front desk, is great. There was some confusion as a result of our rooms being booked corporately. Ebony patiently explained the differences then took care of us anyway. People like Ebony is why we stay at Holiday Inns. Thank you.

A great place to visit. Professional yet comfortable environment, friendly staff!

First room was an adjoining room to one with a loud and unattended dog. Went downstairs and switched rooms no problem. Second room had bugs on the pillow and comforter when we walked in. Took the whole pillow downstairs and found another hotel. This hotel would not comp us another room at a sister hotel because they didn’t think the issue was valid to not stay with them. Very nice front desk staff, but the General Manager and hotel itself I am DISGUSTED with. Wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Great restaurant. Nice antique store nextdoor.

Staff was incredibly accommodating. Very pleased and helpful. Hotel needs some freshening up, but it sounds like they will be starting renovations shortly. Breakfast was ok. 4 stars for the staff!

I'm on the road a lot and today I happened to be working at this location. I've stayed in Holiday Inn's before and this is one of the better ones. Located right off the highway and in a good part of the city. Also an excellent restroom choice if you're on the go!

Old and outdated (though I think they're fixing that. My desk chair had the leather all ripped off of it. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. And I loved that I could run the air (fan) all night lol. The bathroom was super small. The corner of the sink is so close to the toilet, I hit my arm every time. Ouch! The woman at the front desk was super nice. My reason for giving only 3 stars… I was checked into a room that already had guests. I entered the room to find shoes and clothes. Thankfully no one was in the room… how embarrassing!

Clean room. Fresh clean smell when walking into room for the first time. Wi-Fi has been upgraded; that's a plus. Reason I gave a 3 star rating; no mini fridge in room and AC didn't keep room cool. This is definitely a must considering it's summer.

Things are a little worn in some places. Like the desk chair. Seems its been that way for a while. We did find a stain on our comforter. We let the front desk know. Heard them pass the word to housekeeping. Returned hours later and it wasn't resolved. Called down to the desk and they came right up. Could be housekeeping was a bit overwhelmed. Be aware that the breakfast buffet is $10.95 if not part of a group or, a certain level in their loyalty program.

I had a nice stay their just for one night and I would stay again. The staff was nice and I like the fact that they had a gym to go and work out if you wanted to. Pool but it was to cool for that and had breakfast in the morning in which I didn't go to but my husband did and he enjoyed it. It was only one thing that I didn't like about it well not the place it was the fact that it was someone on my floor near my room smoking weed and the smell was coming in my room strong as hell. Thats the only thing I didn't like about it. I would tell people to stay their. The price was good!

Rooms were comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated. Staff was super friendly. Neither ice machine on 1st or 4th floor were working. A/c in room was a little noisy and it took a while you get room to temp that was comfortable.

Good room size and bath room. Beautiful pool. Problem is breakfast was not free and was in fact pricey.

Terrible. Just Terrible, there was blood on the side of the bed, no Blow Dryer Bath was too small. My Room was 308 Never Stay here EVER, because The pool INSTANTLY Got colder, No Ice Machine on the 3rd Floor, Desk Chair Ripped Appart, looked like a MURDER SCENE, No Decaf coffee in the lobby Stay At the Hampton Inn, You might be more Satisfied, Because this should be a day's inn at 55 dollars a night.

Attention to detail lacking. Gym is dirty. Towels everywhere. Clock had read 130 for 6 months. Outside trash surrounds and litters entire compound. Grass cut half way. No trimming done. I stay here for corporate rate. That will change. Lack of outlets in the rooms. Lobby is clean and modern.

Great customer service. Arrived really early and was able to check in. I did have to stay in a handicap room and those really aren't my favorite. Clean room clean bathroom. Nice pool outside with a large seating area or just lounging. They do have a fitness center but it's just treadmills and ellipticals with some free weights it could be a lot better. Overall a really good hotel I would say again.

Staff that checked us in were very friendly. Rooms looked like they tried to refresh them but showed their age. I didn't like that they try to charge you extra for the paper by adding in a little line on the registration sign in. They do have a nice little snack area to buy snacks. Overall, an ok hotel.

Awful. Dried blood on the sheets, filty mirror in bathroom, sink didn't drain. Very disappointed. Has been good in the past. My last stay. I wish I could post pictures.

The room was nice. King bed, excellent pillows and mattress. The lighting was terrible. Service at the desk was pleasant and helpful. The location was odd — difficult to get to but close-ish to the airport. Kind of in a food desert — nothing really nearby.

The only thing great in this place is the cook that's in the kitchen at night his name is Andy he makes the best food other than that no thanks.

The rooms are a little outdated. The area around the bottom of our toilet was still dirty.

I had a house fire and was staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Burnt Poplar Road near the airport. It was pet friendly and seemed okay. My son who was living with me at the time of the fire had a room, too. It was very difficult to manage the hyper dog during our six month stay. She was miserable being cooped up and barked if I left her in the room. Had a few complaints about this understandably. My son found huge bedbug infestation in his room and showed the manager pictures and live bugs in a cup. She moved him to another room and he walked straight into this room and checked the mattress immediately. It was horribly infested with bedbugs, too. He took more pictures and collected more bugs in a cup and showed them to the hotel manager. She went home for the weekend and upon her return, she evicted us from the hotel with no notice. She accused my son of causing the gross infestation of the bedbugs, which was a lie. Our house was scheduled for us to move back in a week. It was unbelievable how she totally mishandled the situation. Rather than apologizing and making sure my son got a bug free room, she accused him of the problem and kicked us out. My bed didn't have bugs, but she evicted me, too. The hotel was flea infested all summer and I had hundreds of bites. She said the dog brought them in, too. Don't stay here is my recommendation! The manager is unethical and unprofrofessional to say the least.

Pros: Clean room, comfy bed Cons: People smoking weed in next room making room smell, ac sounded like a small plane starting, and front desk personnel seem emotionless.

Pretty on the outside looked clean but woke up to infestation of ants.

I was working here for several weeks and was fired over a false allegation that management never inquired about. I would never stay here.

3 room changes to no avail. they all had problems Room 256 — Horrid Smell Room 156 — Ice Blocking Vents in AC Room 154 — Black Mold in Shower Standing in 3in of water while showering Spiders all over room. BIG ONES! I am not calling the front desk to change rooms again. This is just plain silly. 3 strikes and your OUT.

We had Our Business Conferance at this Newly Renovated Full Service Hotel and the Service was Excellent. The Staff and Owner's themself went way beyond to take care of all our Needs. Great Food and Excellent banquest set-up. We were very impress by the quality of Service we received at a reasonable rate. Easy access and great location near Piedmont Airport. I strongly recommend this Hotel to all Business Traveler's in Greensboro area. AAA+++++.
