This pace needs to be condemned! DO NOT STOP. KEEP DRIVING! … Stopped there a few nights ago and was told we have plenty of rooms and the rate was 75.00. Booked 2 rooms for me and my co-worker. Entered my room turned the light on and the roaches were scurrying everywhere. The bed was dirty and not made. Holiday Inn Ice Bucket with trash in it sitting on a dirty table. My Co-workers room was filthy, muddy foot prints, garbage, old furniture, no linen on one of the beds. Just a horrible sight! … We went back to the desk and demanded our money back and told them that they should be turned in to the health department. NEVER in my life seen anything so disgusting, and the guy working there didn't have a care in the world! … UUUGGGHH! The only reason I clicked 1 star is so I could post this warning!
Um, there is a reason its a 2.3 rating and we will be adding to that bad score. All the pillows are dirty, not dingy, out and out make-up smears and filth on them ALL. There was no fitted sheets on the beds. 1/3 rd of bottom of the bathroom door was rotted out. There was No clean surfaces, Anywhere! Soap bars still stuck to side of tub. Less than 20 squares of tp left in bathroom. Bed boxpring broken and falls to ground when u sit on the one side. Holy! Did they just fold the used towels and leave them for next guests? Picked one up and there was a bedbug on it. Sat on edge of bed and saw a Huge bedbug crawling on the sheet. It was by now pouring and late and we were on bikes so leaving wasn't easy. Spoke to the young man at counter. He looked so embarrassed, took me to a new room right away. Gave me new sheets and pillow cases from laundry. These were clean. New room had 1/2 a top lid of the toilet seat. Dirty linens but I took the clean ones he gave me already. I litterally stood outside under the underhang during this massive storm that went on all night and almost cried. Amazing lighting and thunder show. The young man saw me standing in the rain watching the sky and asked if the new room was better, we shook our heads that it was not, he offered us another room but what was the point. We just needed to get the hell out of here. Thank god we didnt put our packs down on the beds or even open them. Health inspectors should be called, place should be shut down.

This place should be ashamed of themselves! Advertisement sign promoted that they had rooms for 49.99. We was charged 85.00$ Probably because of the hurricane evacs so of course theyd bump pricing up in a natural disaster! Also said they was newly renovated had free hbo Wi-Fi and new carpet. There was no capet at all. All of which could have been overlooked meanings we was just driving thru and needed a place to stay for a few hrs. However when we got to room there was tvs stacked on top of tvs. Microwaves stacked upon microwaves (non working) and a mini fridge that didnt work. But when ya find roaches dead and alive on top of bed bugs im at my tipping point. No spout even on the bath tub faucets. Upside down lampshades as ceiling lights. Holes in walls. This place is highly neglected and honestly im not sure how the health department hasnt shut them down.
