This motel was very nice and comfortable for the price paid. I reserved a King nonsmoking room for my son and I. It was very clean, came with a fridge, microwave, wall mounted tv, night stands, and small table with 2 chairs. It was only about 3 minutes away from restaurants like Wendy’s, McDonald’s, bojangles etc. And maybe 9 minutes from the Zoo! When I arrived the staff was very nice and my check-in process took less than 5 minutes. I reserved my room and I wrote a note asking for a ground floor room, and they were able to meet that accommodation for me! The only issue I had was with housekeeping which I addressed with Lorry. We went to freshen up and I noticed that the towels were wet (not sure why) I called the front desk and they provided me with dry towels no problem. Then I went to get a wash cloth and noticed they were hand towels so once again just asked for some wash cloths and let Lorry know the issue. She provided me with wash cloths no problem! The rooms look just like the pictures. The renovations are very well done (if they’re newly renovated). I would suggest adding some type of TV listing in the rooms as it took me a little while to find the ION channel lol. I would definitely stay here again worth every penny and glad I did stay☺️
Room wasnt very clean and the hardwood floors stayed wet and nasty feeling under your feet the whole time. Staff was helpful and friendly even changed out room. Same problem. Had to mop the floors with towels and They were black when we finished. Very dirty place I don't recommend. And no pool to top it off! Won't stay here again!
