The beds are comfy and the TV's are nice. Not the cleanest place and the owners are way to nosey.

Going to be truly honest this is not the worst place I have stayed at but far from anything close to mediocre the room was Tiny and smelled like old smoke there was no towels in the bathroom and overall the place was very shoddy Circa 1980s if you know what you were expecting when you walk in there that's perfectly fine but if you're expecting something decent I would pay a little bit extra to stay where there was more amenities but overall for cheap stay one night overnight and you can make it.

Great little hidey hole of you need one. Rocky's Chicken Shack and Domino's is close by. Not a flea bag but not the Comfort inn.

I made a reservation, but when I got there the man didn't understand what I was saying at all. The reservation was way cheaper quoted than what he had told me it was going to be. I ended up leaving because he wanted to charge me $151 for the night and as soon as you walk into the office it is blazing hot with a really strong spice smell. So, I can only imagine what the rooms smell of.

Nice people, cute little room. Great location, close to downtown. Worth every penny!

The sign says "Microwave, Free Coffee and Wi-Fi. " We got none of those things. All we got was 4 days and 3 nights of being paranoid about cockroaches (of which we saw plenty) crawling on our faces while we slept, and a sneaking suspicion that the mirror that was haphazardly drilled into the wall was a hidden two-way. The key we were given was nothing but a symbol of privacy, since after coming back on two separate occasions the door was wide open and someone was inside. I stopped leaving any of my stuff behind. The room smelled terrible and always felt wet and humid, as if someone had left a window wide open for a week with the A/C blasting. It looked to me like there was a bullet hole in the ceiling. In the bathroom, there was a locked black door that we didn't have a key to — no doubt a means for the managers/owners to come and go as they pleased, destroying any sense of privacy even further. There was constantly someone above us making noises as if they were renovating their entire home. Banging, scraping, pounding. Every day. There were several marks all over the walls meant to cover up dents or stripped screws (or bullet holes) that were lazily painted over with mismatching paint colors; some weren't even painted at all and were just open or ripped. The TV looks nice at a cursory glance, but it's hooked up with standard-def cable on an HD screen that gets fuzzier when the refrigerator turns on.

Absolutely disgusting. Filthy and bed bugs. I forfeited my money and went elsewhere.

I wish I could give it a lower star. They are very rude overcharge the hotel is very dirty you have no privacy and it is drug-infested.

Very filthy! Hairs and dirty linen in the shower, along with personal soap and shampoo from previous guest. Cob webs in every corner. Dirty under garments in the bed. Owners/Managers were very rude and not willing to listen to our complaints. Location is great, but so is my Clean vehicle!

The beds were comfortable, but one member of our party was turned off by a chemical smell to the room. Also the water pressure was weak and the shower did not get very hot.

First and foremost they allow pets 20$, now it's not the Biltmore but some things regarding the room you just have to overlook, it's 5mintues from the river, tubing, and a dog park!

Pay for what you get, but beds are surprisingly comfy.

Simple straight forward big nice room with very comfortable soft beds, we just needed it to rest. No need for pools or staying in the motel the whole day. It worked out perfectly. And the price was very low. This is not a big hotel with pool and many unnessesary things that make you stay around the hotel room, for that I stay home, I have a pool there.

Room I stayed in had comfortable beds, was reasonably clean, working shower, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a big TV. If you're not a snob it's completely fine, just a little lived in, gives it personality.

This place is disgusting dirty linens burn holes in mattress smelled like smoke full garbage can outside noisy We got locked in the hotel room and the owners and maintenance guy couldn't get us out my husband had to knock down the door bugs and cob webs The owners never offered to refund on our money, so I beg you to stay away from this place said it was newly remodled they slapped some ugly paint on the wall Please dont stay here! Worst Hotel I ever had to stay at in my life! DISGUSTING! The owners really need to refund our money but they don 't seem to care about anything and it shows Close the place down! Probably the worst stay at a hotel I've had in a really long time. The mattress is soft and comfortable, but that's about the only redeeming quality this place has. The air conditioner cuts off after five minutes no matter what the temperature is so you end up sweating all night. What little cold air you can get from the unit is quickly lost through all the holes and cracks that lead straight outside. The shower is tiny, and the water pressure is similar to that of a person standing on a stool pouring a watering can over your head. On top of that there is no courtesy shampoo or conditioner provided. Yea this place is cheap, but if you want to enjoy your stay go with a chain. It'll cost you around 20 dollars more depending on the room but it's very much worth it.

The owner is insane. We stopped in to look at the room, he gave us the key and said it was fine. No less than a minute later he started banging on the door demanding to be let in and then chased us off the property. I don't know what he thought we were doing. The rooms aren't too bad but not worth getting yelled at.

Lol, it's old, rough, dirty, bathroom smells like a sewer, and I think you get the point. Look for something else unless you're on a strict budget, or it's your only choice.

First off, my fiance and I booked this room two days before we were going to be in Asheville. We looked around online for a decent rate, came across this motel, saw that it had decent reviews and went ahead and booked it. Arrived, saw that the motels looked cute from the outside so we were hoping for the best. Walked in our room and immediately noticed the moldy smell. There was barely enough room to walk around, only one night stand and only one outlet to plug our phone chargers into. We settled our things in and went out to explore the town. Once we returned, I decided to take a shower. Walked in the bathroom, tried to shut the door behind me and it wouldn't shut. Looked around in the bathroom and realized we weren't provided with any shampoo, conditioner, or soap. I got dressed, walked up to the front desk, asked if they had any and about five minutes later he returned with half empty bottles of what I'm assuming was his wife's shampoo and body wash. I Walked back to my room, hopped in the shower and realized the water doesn't drain because the stopper is stuck. I then look up and see a small roach. Freaked out, got out of the shower and was pretty much livid. Also found a cigarette burn in our comforter. We ended up staying because it was about 3am and had already drank a little too much to be driving. Anyway, DO NOT let those other ratings fool you like they did us. Spend the extra $20 and stay in a chain hotel. tl;dr: Was fooled by good reviews.

Cute little Stone buildings, nicely renovated rooms, close to downtown Asheville, all at a great price. They have everything you need; Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. It was a cozy place to stay.

It is not as if you get breakfast and there isn't a swimming pool or fitness center but if you want a comfortable bed and a quiet night's sleep, this is the place. Without a doubt the softest, most comfortable bed I have ever slept in anywhere.
