Very spacious and so clean! friendly staff, an so close to everything. But still quiet!

There are bed bugs at this location & management just says that they will empty the room and check it, doing nothing to acknowledge your inconvenience. I have 4 kids & do not have time to deal with this, nor do I have the extra money to pay OVER $300 PER NIGHT for service like this in return! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great experience, very clean, great staff, great breakfast, enjoyed the shuttle to downtown, liked the hallway lighting and security.

Check-in was super easy! The front desk clerk is very friendly and helpful.

Had a very nice stay at Country Inn and Suites in Asheville! It was my anniversary with my boyfriend, and they left a nice note and a complimentary bottle of wine! Very nice touch! The room was very clean and nice to come back to after a night out in Asheville. Would stay here again for sure!

Excellent here! Third hotel we have been while traveling… have to say best one yet. Cleanest and most efficient house keeping staff ever!. In past 2 stays it was anything but good. This place has been the cleanest and best for our $$… very happy!

Stayed here at the end of July 2018. The hotel feels recently renovated, the staff was friendly, & the room felt very comfy & clean, & the overall experience was nice. The breakfast was plentiful & had plenty of eggs, sausage, potatoes, & waffles along with a handful of cold items.

Decent hotel. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Air conditioning absent in elevator and could be better in common areas. Only one elevator for entire hotel so wait times are long when busy and when housekeeping working. Luggage carts are horrible, their shape ensures that half of your luggage will fall off. Parking is inadequate out front but there is a back lot around the building. Breakfast is just below average. Typical cereals and waffles but only one waffle maker so the line gets long. Coffee isn't very good. But there are a good number of seats and they open another room for overflow seating. Housekeeping is excellent.

We've visited this hotel twice now and both times really enjoyed it. It's a short driving distance from downtown. I'd rather save the money and stay at a place like this instead of staying downtown and paying a ton. If you're visiting with children make sure to get a room with a pull out couch. That way you have a door to divide you so it's easier to sleep. The indoor pool is great. We always have great service at the front desk as well. Breakfast always has something to please everyone. Overall I think this is a great hotel to stay at in Asheville and will always be my first pick.

Our mini vacation was from May 6-11. We arrived at the hotel early but John the guy at the front desk was very accommodating. He kept our luggage in the back while we got some lunch. He made sure to call me as soon as our room was available even though it was still early to check in. Throughout our stay everyone was very nice but he stood out the most because of his friendliness, attention to details and his willingness to help and make us feel welcome and at home. The place is very very clean. Everywhere we looked someone is always cleaning. Our room is always neat and clean every night we came back. The beds and pillows are comfortable. If I had a complaint it would be the cable/TV. The remote had no guide button so you couldn't see what is coming up or what you are watching. That is minor compared to the place and the service we received. I would definitely stay here again and hopefully John will still be there to welcome us.

The friendliest people I've ever met on a trip—both the staff and the travelers. This made up for the unfriendly hipsters of Asheville in general. The breakfast is good and the pool area is nice but our room was pretty tight. Granted we had two popup beds and an air mattress, but they seemed to fit fine in other hotel suites.

Rooms were great and recently updated, the beds slept decent. The indoor pool and hot tub was great. The only below standard is the breakfast. The eggs were premade and like rubber. You only have choice of coffee, OJ and apple juice to drink in a tiny kids cup for everyone. If they would improve the breakfast this place would be top notch. Gym was small but sufficient.

Very modern rooms. Beds are comfortable if not a tad on the firm side. Very clean well stocked bathroom and room in general. This is one of the two Country Inn and Suites in Asheville, this being located in a strip mall with easy access to 240. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a standard hotel/motel, but with very clean, very comfortable rooms. We got a good price for our stay. I hate hard beds and pillows. They had very comfortable beds and a variety of pillows. The complimentary breakfast is typical and gets a 3. Price for what you get — 5, room — 5+ (not fancy but pleasing, and how many really clean hotel rooms have you been in — this one was. ), other amenities and overall facility — 4 1/2.

Great stay for a great price! Each staff member was helpful and friendly! Great location! Our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool and free breakfast! The place was very clean! We will stay here again!

Have stayed at hotels all across the country and this hotel far exceeded our expectations! Super clean and very friendly customer service (Jonathan) in front lobby. Went out of their way to ensure our family was taken care of — can’t say enough positives about our stay — and the nightly rate was very reasonable! Try them out! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Downtown Asheville!

Nice, quiet, and very affordable for my family. Room service was excellent and the pool is well I never got the words. Free breakfast outstanding! The absolute worst customer service I have ever ever ever received. The evening supervisor raised his voice repeatedly and over-talked me repeatedly not allowing me an opportunity to say what my call was about. He presumed to know b/c we had an issue with Expedia and them but in actuality he didn’t know why I was calling and spent 10 minutes blasting me telling me I was Expedia’s customer and not theirs… before I was able to get across to him that I was NOT CALLING FOR A REFUND. How very sad that common courtesy and professionalism are so lacking in today’s world…

A very clean and comfortable hotel with nice amenities for the price. The heated indoor pool was a favorite of our kids. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. It snowed a few inches while we were there and the staff of the hotel cleaned the windows of our car. My only complaint is that the beds are a little uncomfortable when sleeping two at once.

Nice location, very central to shopping and dining. Had an issue with the TV remote and they took care of it right away. Check in was quick, checking out was just as easy. Employees were very nice and helpful.

Nice hotel in a great location in downtown Asheville. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the included breakfast was good. However, only three stars because they don't disclose that parking is an additional $16 per night regardless of valet or self-parking. This should be included in the price and nothing feels more like a bait and switch than the extra fees.

Found small bugs on my bed… I am shocked at the level of service I received tonight. My wife and I checked into our room in the late afternoon and immediately went out to explore. Upon returning late we sat on the bed and watched a movie. My wife noticed a small dead bug on the bed and I initially dismissed it as just a random happenstance. That is until we noticed a few more small dead bugs on the bed. Immediately my wife called the front desk (currently about 1am) and informed them of our discovery only to be told the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do for us. Frustrated, I went down to speak with the gentlemen at the front desk in person as I could not believe that was all he could/would do for us. I was again told he could do nothing for me, but could provide new bedding if I so desired. Since I had booked the room through a third party he could not refund me or assist me in any other way. Essentially giving me the option to sleep in a room with bugs or leave in hopes I could find a room somewhere else. As my wife and I did not feel particularly inclined to sleep with bugs we left… the third party has put in for a refund, but I am still reeling at the poor service and lack of care the front desk offered… at the very least maybe he could have helped find somewhere for us to go that late?

I stayed two nights at 3 days apart in this hotel. The first room was correct. On the other hand, the second was very poorly soundproof, on the ground floor, right in front of the entrance. Breakfast was very limited to the choice level as they did not have any kitchen or restaurant. The service was OK but no more.

This is an average motel with average amenities. I stayed in a King Suite, but there wasn't a separate bedroom. I had requested the separate bedroom suite, but when I entered it, it smelled of cigarette smoke, and they sent me to another suite, which smelled heavily of fragrance, so I settled for another suite with no smoke smell, no perfume smell, but unfortunately, no seperate bedroom. Room was reasonably clean, except for some long black hairs in the sheets, which I assume were left by the people who made the bed, because the sheets appeared clean and fresh, except for the hair. It was quiet enough. Coffee is available 24 hours, and always tasted fresh. Complimentary breakfast buffet had many selections, although I never eat breakfast so I can't rate the offerings. There's an indoor pool, on the small side, and a hot tub that appeared to seat four people. There's a room with some treadmill type equipment. The sitting area in the lobby could have been enjoyable, except for the overly loud music that played non-stop. There's plenty of fast-food and chain restaurants around, although the town isn't pedestrian friendly. I would rate this motel a solid three-star.

We spent three nights at this inn and can't say enough good things about it! Check in was easy and Savannah and Mamta were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We needed their expertise with several inquiries and they went above and beyond… really! The room was clean and inviting with two tv's and daily attention! The free breakfast had everything you'd want like waffles, eggs, breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, juice, coffee, tea and fresh fruit! Can't beat it! Thank you to this place for being so conscientious with your services!

Easily met my expectations for a short visit to Asheville. Online booking was ready, and staff was courteous when we had to make a minor change. Rooms and halls were clean and the breakfast was well stocked.

Nice suite, even had a pack n play for the baby to sleep in. Only negatives: the pool and laundry were both pout of order, which wets major factors in or decision to stay here, still ooveralla great place.

We selected this hotel based on its ratings and I have to agree. Clean room and excellent staff! It was also one of the cheaper hotels in the area. Will Def stop again when passing through.

Our room was so clean and smelled great. The concierge was very helpful and even gave us a courtesy call to make sure we were settled in okay. The Wi-Fi service was good and the breakfast area and food was great. Will definitely visit again in the future!

We stayed in the king suite for 3 days. During our stay, the staff was professional and helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable. This place is very well kept. The entire staff should get a A plus plus in how well they keep this place clean. Hats are off to all of you who maintain the Country Inn & Suites on Tunnel road.

We rented two rooms for our party and they were the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever experienced. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. I would stay here again and recommend that you do to, you will not regret it.

Many problems. Thin walls, noisy hallways and rooms. Laundry facilities did not work properly and after reporting it, we were never updated on repairs, etc. They offer a "hot breakfast" and it was adequate, yet they ran out of food. With that said, the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was as helpful as they could be. If you smoke, get a smoking room. There is a $250 fine added to your account if you are suspected of smoking in your room. A small placard is placed in the bathroom as your warning. I guess I am back to Hampton Inns in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary and everything was great. The staff was friendly at check-in, the room was clean and very pleasing to be in. I was almost as comfortable as I am at home. The breakfast was great, they served eggs, bacon, biscuits, sausage, and much more. I also like the fact that checkout time is noon. At other hotels I ask for a late check out but I did not have to here.
