We took 4 grandkids for a overnight stay as a x mas gift 2/22. We stood in Draculas Fangs. The kids had a fantastic time. Rooms were a+ clean. Staff a+ attentive. No complaints at all. Walkway was snowy but open. We were not able to get a fire started as wood was just to wet. Not that this had anything to do with our stay but bring food. Sandwiches. Something from hom that you can heat up. There is one reasturant in town but I have nothing nice to say about it. And will leave it at that. Because covid is still a thing u can for free get a bagged breakfast from the roxbury which we took advantage of and it worked out perfectly. Well worth a visit any time of year. Great job guys. You help to make fantasies come true.

My husband and I stayed at the motel this past weekend and I am OBSESSED! Our room and the spa were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am truly in awe of their creativity and tastefulness. Amazing 🤩 I can’t wait to go back!

Mark and I are here on our honeymoon and this place is the absolute best. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the hot tub and steam room are fantastic, I want to be in there every day, and the rooms are so creative and different that we couldn't help but to book multiple rooms during our stay. It's been fun going from room to room to see the different themes and we have saved the roxbury and plan to return often. Very good prices, close to home and very quiet and relaxing in the winter. Love it here 💕

An extraordinary experience! Every detail, I mean every square inch has been touched by beauty. My party and I were treated like VIPs from check-in to departure. Every nook and cranny is luxury and elegance! The place, even when fully-booked feels like it belongs to you alone. Lots of areas for quiet luxuriating! The staff are top notch.
My only complaint is that there is only one restaurant within walking distance (wanna drink wine and avoid consequences-at least vehicular ones) and that restaurant-was bush and a bit slow. If any enterprising person reads this, please open up a restaurant within walking distance!

One of my absolute favorite vacation spots and that I consider a home away from home. The owners are hard working and truly put a lot of care into their properties. Everything is clean and sanitized. And the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. This place will definitely be an annual vacation spot.

A truly wonderful experience being in the Catskill mtns. Service and cleanliness top notch. Friendly helpful staff. FUN rooms, a great get away. The pool and hot tub were such a relaxing spot.

The place defies description. The rooms are an experience themselves and the place is so perfectly clean. Their COVID protocols are stringent and serious, but so well thought out to ensure guest comfort and safety. My wife was literally giddy when she saw the decor of the room, then she gushed out how well cared for it was. The staff is helpful and friendly as well. This is hands down the most well thought out, well cared for and loving place we have ever stayed. If only every business could make their customers feel this way.

Spent the most wonderful week of Christmas in the “Archeological Digs” cottage with my family. Loved, loved, loved it. Truly an immersive experience. Every inch of the cottage is thoughtfully curated and visually stunning including the bathrooms! Felt like living in a Disney world exhibit with truly luxurious accommodations. Having lost my mom to COVID this year my family needed a place where we could regroup and feel safe. Their cleaning protocols are incredible. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere that was that clean with many items beautifully wrapped with sanitized bags. We felt so safe and pampered. Tried many of the restaurants on the site which were pretty good. The Roxbury provides these wonderful breakfast bags with a nice variety of choices included in the price. Private hot tub session was incredible with the snow and the windows open. Everything is so well thought out. Even the toiletry amenities were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

Just spent a week here for our mini-moon! We had such a wonderful time and our room (Amadeus’ Bride) was impeccable! The staff was super friendly and the amenities were great. We wandered on over to the Stratton Falls location and it was like a fairy tale! A true must see and must stay at motel. We would definitely return for another stay!

The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. The rooms are incredibly detailed and gorgeous! The amenities are well planned and spot on. The lobby must be seen! It is spectacular! The upstairs area to the mansion is wonderfully tasteful and comfortable. The pool area has chairs in the pool; that was simply glorious! The hot tub was heavenly. The reservation system was perfect. Breakfast was timely and with the right amount of choices. The quality of the food was terrific. The service was friendly and helpful. Greg’s recommendation to Peekamoose was spot on and delicious. The falls area was breathtaking! So in a nutshell, this place is a rare find and nothing short of magnificent!

Each room is unique, I cannot wait to visit alot of artistic thought has gone into every detail. These owners have created a wonderful fantasy for each and every one of you. Once in a life time! This hotel is one of a kind! Visit as often as you can to relax!

My niece and her husband have been several times. They love it and recommend it highly. The pics and videos they share shows us the beautiful rooms and wonderful food and staff.

This is no doubt the cleanest nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. Each theme is well done and you find yourself pointing out the tiny little details that are hidden throughout.

My husband and I just stayed here for the first time on Friday (11/2). If you are looking for a unique quiet stay this is your place. The owners and staff bring the word hospitality to a whole new level! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Not to mention you can truly tell they LOVE what they do, they are excited you are staying with them and the guests are excited to be there. A one of a kind experience tucked away in the mountains. This is an experience you will want to make every year!

Our wedding at the Roxbury Barn was the most amazing day, and better than we could of imagined. Every single detail was paid close attention to, Casper and his team make sure that the day goes smooth and as the bride plans it to be. The staff at the barn are professional, helpful and were such a pleasure to have that day. We have been planning this day for some time, we dreamed about what our wedding would look like, and it was exactly that, and even better. Casper was helpful every step of the way, the Green List of vendors they provide came in very handy as we were coming from down state and did not have experience with weddings in Roxbury, we used most of the vendors recommended, and couldn't be happier. Casper takes great pride in the Barn, it has only gotten better and more beautiful over the years, and will only get better from here. We could not be happier, or more thankful for our experience!

Hands down a fantastic venue for your wedding. Casper has put his heart and soul into this incredible property and your guests will not be disappointed.

Just stayed in Maryann's Coconut Cream Pie room last weekend. This was our second visit to Roxbury. Greg, Joe, and their team do such an amazing job that we are already planning our next trip and thinking about bringing the kids this time. The room and the grounds are kept is immaculate shape. The spa is a great place to unwind and the massage therapists did a great job relaxing us. Greg, Joe, and their staff are beyond hospitable. Because of our good friends, the guys gave us some spa passes and some bubbly to help celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. They also scrambled to get a Coconut Cream Pie that or friend bought for us. We were beside ourselves with how great they are. I don't think I can recommend enough to friends and family that they need to visit the Roxbury Motel… but I will until I'm blue in the face. Keep up the amazing work and can't wait to spend some more time up there.

My husband and I have just returned from our 11th trip to The Roxbury Motel. To say we might be sporting an addiction would probably be the correct term. Being immersed in uniquely creative and utterly spotless accommodations while being surrounded by welcoming caring people is certainly not a bad a bad habit to procure. In addition we had fantastic massages by Analee and Jason who truly know their craft, and should not be missed. Give yourself a treat and experience the magic of the Roxbury and I'm sure you will also become a devotee of its allure. Always much love to Greg and Joe and their excellent staff for all they give of themselves so that we all can enjoy this " Gem Of The Catskills"

An unreal experience from start to finish. Every single staff member at The Roxbury was helpful, friendly, professional and polite. They went above and beyond to offer recommendations and make sure we had a great time. The room was gorgeous and the entire property is like perfectly curated eye candy. Everything is immaculate! They offer an adorable and delicious breakfast in the morning and awesome bath amenities. They made sure to acknowledge and celebrate our anniversary with us. Got to meet the owner, who took time to personally introduce himself to us at the hotel and then stopped by to say hello when we were both at the same restaurant. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I’m delayed posting about our amazing wknd in The Digs over Christmas wknd! What a unique, peaceful, beautiful experience. It started with the 3hr drive through beautiful countryside. The town is small but welcoming… and everyone we came across was friendly and helpful. Now the Roxbury itself! WOW! Every little detail… everything had a place and a purpose… nothing was by chance. From instructions being printed with the “matching” font and placed in a decorative frame… to the amazing artifacts on display. I loved reading through the Digs book explaining everything. Oh, and the beautiful babies (fish) … nothing is more relaxing! The property was beautiful… and we were blessed with fluffy white snow on Christmas morning… which made the grounds even more spectacular. And my spa experience was probably top 5… and I’m a spa snob… we go often. My therapies were truly therapeutic… physically, mentally, & spiritually! All the staff were helpful & friendly! The place was spotless… so huge kudos to the EVS staff! We loved it so much, we already booked for Memorial Day wknd to celebrate Jims 50th Birthday (and we rarely book places twice! ). We invited some fiends to join us… so hope to share with those we love! Thank you for making it a truly memorable experience! Oh and really the price very reasonable for what we got! I felt like we spent Christmas in a postcard! OK that’s enough rambling! See you in a few months!

Our wedding day at the Roxbury Barn was nothing short of amazing. The estate is breathtaking and well taken care of — constantly updated and groomed. Casper and Kim offered a ton of advice and were always available to help in every way possible. We received a list (nearly 50 pages long) of every bit of information needed to plan a wedding at the barn. This included vendor suggestions, lodging info, photographers/videographers, entertainment, rental places and more. The barn provided all seating and tables (and set up) for cocktail hour, ceremony and reception and worked with me in deciding how to arrange it all. There is a huge kitchen on the bottom floor of the barn where your caterer can set up and prepare your food fresh. They offer golf carts (and drivers) to help the caterers and guest around the grounds. There are string lights hung all over the property that add a romantic feel to your wedding night. Every detail has been thought of. It is an absolutely magical place. And the staff is even more wonderful. I can't say enough kind words about them — especially Kim whom I bothered the most with countless questions and worries. She was quick to put my mind at ease. Planning a wedding is quite a stressful experience but having Casper and Kim made it enjoyable. I truly loved every second of my wedding day thanks to The Roxbury Barn. From start to finish truly a wonderful and rich experience. Staff very professional. So glad I went ahead and hired full planning. There was no detail left untouched. From handpicked welcome baskets delivered to guests rental homes, to delivery of wine and chocolates to those staying in hotels — it was really a masterpiece. An event that beautifully captured a blend of backgrounds, a blend of families. It was a destination wedding in the sense that everyone (including bride and groom) had to drive, fly or both! But once people arrived, greeted by a handsome glass of proseco, driven to the top of the pavilion, met by the melodies of a handsome Spanish guitar duo… they got it. They understood the magic of this place. The unique charm that with the help of my awesome wedding planner, months of planning, weekly FaceTime sessions became so much more — a reflection of possibilities. The possibilities grounded in mutual love and unique interests. Airbnb, homeaway, Roxbury motel were great. The green list (I believe that's what it was called) was essential! Superb-all around superb.

Beautiful property to have a wedding, but that is all you get. They don't provide food or drink which means it has to be provided from an outside sourse, either precooked or cooked in the barns basement, which will be very expensive and quality will suffer. They do not have linens or plateware on site either. More on this. The barn is nice, but very, very small and most of the seating is on the second floor, which splits up the crowd. Any toast or speech will only be seen by half the guests, and the 16'x16' dance floor is directly infront of the main entrance making it more cramped. The ceremony area is a very nice pine grove up on a hill, but a decent walk for any elderly guests to the happy hour hut and barn. Also, for the ladies, heels are a bad idea. They do have golf carts to shuttle any guests, but was only an option at extra cost. You will have to decorate everything yourself with very little time to do so. The place is not close to any lodging except some recommended BnBs or "single rooms for rent" spread across the area. Buses would be a nightmare. Not to mention if you get lost on the way there or from, good luck with a cellphone signal. No calling for help or directions at all. As mentioned before, they provide very little for the, in my opinion, unreasonable price for what you get. Not only this, but there are only a few vendors who are aware of the troubles they will encounter shuttling food to and fro around the property via golf carts.
