Nice sized and nicely laid out casino, with convenient parking garage located in Salamanca NY. Contains slots and gaming tables. We visited last in a Saturday and it was busy but not overly so. Roulette tables on a Saturday afternoon with a $5 minimum, which is great. The only thing that prevented five stars here is that much of the casino is smoking, except a small section. Considered only 20%of adult Americans smoke it would be great if they provided more of an area for non smokers.

The resort is nestled in a country wooded setting. It is a lovely getaway resort about 90 minutes south of Buffalo. I do love it there. The slots are hit or miss. I did hit and then I missed and missed. Truth is, it's very hard to leave a winner at Seneca properties. If you win, they take the money right back. Makes me wonder if the slots are rigged. The buffet room is dark and depressing. Very dated. But, the food is high quality. Very good variety and recipes. They do need to remodel and update the buffet room. The Cafe restaurant is terrific. Ate several meals here and they were delicious. The breakfast buffet is top-notch too. The ambiance and decor is really warm and rich. The Patria Italian restaurant is wonderful. I cant wait to go back. Western Door here is pricey, but delicious and decadent. Cant go wrong here! Hint: spend less at the slots and treat yourself to a wonderful dinner. You will be happy you did. The rooms are fabulous. Nothing too fancy. Very masculine and richly decorated with wood and nice tiles. The bed is very comfortable. You will love it here.

Really liked the hotel. Well decorated wood moldings, big beautiful bathrooms. Buffet was very good (and free with players card registration). Employeex friendly but maybe a slow in terms of service. Casino is, small (usually six deck blackjack with some waiting on an table) but nice and clean, Had fun and would visit again.

This is a great place to get away and enjoy some time with your significant other. The motel rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. The food is amazing for a fair price and if your lucky enough to win some money that makes it worth the while. Also they have great concerts on a regular basis with some of the greatest bands in the Country.

I love this place, especially with the new smoking policy. As a non-smoker, I always hated walking into elevators with people smoking and then having to wait to get away from it. The beds are a bit hard, that's why I took one star off. But it's always clean and the showers are just beautiful. The food is delicious and I LOVE the morning Starbucks delivery.

Walking in the door we were greeted by “Beth” at the front desk! If I were hiring at my business I would try to “steal her! ” That’s how wonderful she is and how kind and generous she was with information! It is our anniversary and we were excited to get away and she proved we made the right choice by driving and hour away and staying here! Then after we made our “donation” after 4 hours of playing slots we came into the Seneca Cafe for a bite t eat and our server was “Destiny! ” What a perfect ending to a perfect anniversary! Thank you for fulfilling our expectations!

What can you say… Days you love the casino and days you wish you didn't go and you had the $50 back in your pocket. Lol. Huge selection of slots and gamble wager from pennies, nickels, quarters up to your big boy $1 and $5 slots. Large amount of table games. The bar and staff are great. Good food at the buffet, plenty of variety and back to the table and slots to try your hand. Hotel is clean and well kept. Nice place.

We went out to play a little but ended up spending the night. They comped a room at around midnight for us, small but cozy on the 9th floor. We ate at the cafe which is excellent food but a limited menu. The next morning we ate at the breakfast buffet in the cafe which provided a good but moderate selection. We played till late afternoon and ate at the Thunder Mountain buffet before leaving. Excellent variety of foods and decent service.

We didn't get a gift to start a membership.

Used to love the Prime Rib buffet, not so much lately. Quality is down. Same food for years now. Expensive. As a smoker I appreciated having a smoking area that was well ventilated from the other patrons but that's no more. Strange since its allowed on the gambling floor. Probably won't be going again. Better choices available at far less cost.

Stayed 4 nights during spring break with my family. Kids are 13 and 14 and there wasn't much for them to do there. The pool was okay but often crowded with little kids. The hot tub was under repair so we didn't get to try it out. My husband and I had a lot of fun playing the slots at the casino. We also liked the video poker in the casino, where the drink service was much more prompt than out on the casino floor. Drinks are free as long as you're gambling. The gift shop was superb with a wide variety of very nice things at a variety of price points. Not your average hotel gift shop! We ordered take out from the diner one night but the pizza was soggy and the fries were cold and stale. We sat down to eat in the diner the next night and most of the other food we tried was pretty good. Salads were huge and fresh. Being nonsmokers, we did struggle with the constant haze of smoke everywhere. And I do mean everywhere, even in the hotel hallways. We were coughing and had burning eye problems by the time we left.

This is a nice casino and hotel. It's snuggled right against mountains. The pool is great and has great views. The hot tub has been broken for years, no news on getting it fixed. There is also outside sitting in the pool area. The rooms are nice but the beds are hard. There are a variety of restaurants. The buffet has a wide selection of foods to choose from and reasonable price. The casino has a wide variety of different games to play. Alcohol drinks are free! Overall, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Love all Seneca resorts… but Allegany is our favorite… Rooms gorgeous… but with weather. Disappointed in HBO off line. Pool. Also disappointing with screaming kids and adult hours… a lot of low life. Great buffets. Great food… Machines tighter during holiday season. Win lots more at Seneca Creek. Plus free giveaways twice monthly. Only 20 minutes from home… All in all… nice getaway.

Got a king suite at Seneca Casino. Buffet is one of the best I have had in a long time. Not the largest selection, but everything served was delicious. The room is pretty great, minor irritations, such as paying for everything you use, no microwave, and feeling almost forced to use valet service. Also discouraged from bringing in your own alcohol, which forces you to pay double on all your drinks. Free drinks while playing in the casino, unfortunately the servers who provide you those drinks never seem to be around. The Spa services were wonderful, and if nothing else I would recommend treating yourself to the massage package, which also gets you access to a locker, sauna, and steam room. Overall o would say that I had a great time there and will try to make it back out on my next visit.

Very nice resort and casino and Buffet. I gave it a four star because the rooms were very spacious and cool dark and quiet rooms very modern clean rooms and washroom with glass showers even a phone in the washroom! Would go back there. Also very good service. Buffet wasn't bad many items to choose from. Casino didn't give too many credits to play with like most casinos. But many machines to choose from. Also nice bars and free drinks on the floor if you're playing a machine. Also have very good entertainers that come. Nestled in a beautiful area surrounded by beautiful mountains seems like you're in Vermont. Just watch the roads around the casino lot's potholes.

Very large and fancy hotel and casino. They have a full sized buffet but it is a little pricey. While you are gambling, women walk around and take drink orders (with and without alcohol) for no additional charge. They have $0.01 slot machines to $1 slot machines. Table games and high limit rooms. The hotel is nice, but I feel like there were many charges added to our bill that were not explained up front. They do have smoking and non smoking gambling sections. Also, if you need cigarettes, they sell them in the gift shop with other essentials and gift items.

There was an event going on there. So the buffet was packed. However the people were friendly, and the line to pay went fast. Once we got to our table, again the people were friendly, quick at cleaning up our plates, and refilling our drinks. The food was wonderful. When you got the prime rib they had no problem grilling it a bit more. The place was clean for as many people as there were.

The hotel had beautiful rooms and I received a substantially discounted seasonal rate. The casino was nice and the staff at the craps table gave me a lot of helpful instructions. All the staff were very kind and helpful. The only thing that would have given me a better experience was winning some money!

I had a great time there. I wish it was non smoking, but it wasn't that bad. Prices we're a little steep for souvenirs. Seriously you've already got our money at the slots and tables give us a break on a bottle of water! The rooms are very nice, the showers are fantastic! The only complaint I have about the rooms is the beds, they're not that comfy. All in all my experience was a good one, if you've never been, I recommend you go spend a night.

I would give it a 5 star but the hot tub wasn't working when we went there and I was really looking forward to it after a day at holiday valley. The casino was so much fun, the dealers and the people working the tables were amazing. We did not know how to play craps when we got there but we had a ton of fun learning with these guys and playing. Lost only a little bit of money but had a blast doing it! Definitely recommend if you're in the area and need somewhere to stay. Only thing is you're still allowed to smoke in casinos there so it's kind of gross as an ex smoker.

Very bad service for pop or drinks. Your money goes fast, not many payouts. Still enjoy coming here every one is friendly and rooms are nice. Food is good.

Great place to stay! We absolutely loved it and everything this Resort has to offer. Wish they could figure out what's wrong with the hot tub though, real bummer that it's been out of operation for so long.

Pizza is bad. One of the types of Mac and cheese was good. Other wasn't. Desserts all tasted about the same. Asia pork and chicken was pretty good though.

Started at the casino hotel because it's a 20 minute drive away from Holiday Valley. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Since they allow smoking in the casino and most areas of the facility, there is a pretty strong smell of smoke if you're not use to it. During my stay, the hot tub was not working and the pool ran out of towels because there were so many kids using the pool during the day. I was also under the impression that there was a sauna, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Rooms are very top notch. Location out of the way but ride is nice to get there. Food great. Smoke in the casino is very bad when busy. I think the attendants should be wearing masks, They surely are in a very bad environment! Get hazard pay.

Booked a room through the Hotel's phone reservations office. The gal on the line knew every answer to every question I had without looking anything up! She also told me I had 2 complimentary night's stays available which I did not know about. Nice. Arrived at the hotel around 7:30 on a Thursday night and were in our (smoking) room by 7:40. Our room was on the ninth floor with a great view of the Allegany State park just beyond. The room was very large with an even larger bath complete with a very nice, spacious walk in shower. They even included soft closing toilet seats. Bedding and towels were spotless and new looking. Everything was perfectly clean. After spending a few hours at the slots my wife and I decided to head back to our room for some 24 hour room service. Our order arrived in 12 minutes, with hot food in an insulated box on the shelf below. All condiments you could want were included along with iced water glasses and bottled water. The portions were large enough we could have shared and cut our order in half. Everything was delicious. Considering what we received the prices almost seemed too low! Needless to say, we ordered breakfast also the next morning. Again-perfect. All in all, we had a wonderful first stay there, and are definitely going to return. As far as the Casino goes, my wife and I played slots for a total of 7 hours each and we left with about the same amount of cash we walked in with, which to us is a win.

Love the rooms. The view is wonderful. Bathroom layout the best I've seen. Buffet is good. Breakfast buffet and restaurant excellent, as is the price. Excellent experience.

Location was ok about 90 miles. Rooms were very nice and very clean, loved the shower. The service was timely but some of the service staff were not very friendly. Not ride but seemed like they hated their jobs. We spent the night and only had 3 nice people out of approximately 10.

The hotel is very nice and kept very clean. The pool is clean and nice not to cold. Then the hot tub was wonderful. We ate at the Italian restaurant and had a very good meal. It is a definite place to stay.

The service is great, the company takes good care of their employees as well as teaching and rewarding good customer service. The location is quite a drive from most places. There isn't much outside of the casino to do, but most guests say it's worth driving past other casinos to visit this one.

I love the Hotel and Restaurants. The Casino itself has changed a lot. Some of the old games Are Not there anymore. Due to new games added. So you may have shock if your old game isn't around anymore example. There were 2 games of City 5's. A great progressive. Not there anymore. Seriously bummed. However still lots to play. Great Keno. 25 cents UP. Lots of games with higher minimum. So be aware.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was well designed and gorgeous. Lovely view out the window to a huge hill covered with trees. Dinner buffet was pretty good. 20 kinds of desserts, many different meats including three kinds of carved meats that were very well seasoned and delicious.

Lots of people here on a Sunday afternoon! Nice place and they have a small non-smoking room but you have to go through all of the smoke to get there. I always have to change my clothes as soon as we leave. Nice meal up in the Seneca Cafe and service was great! (They have a non-smoking section as well. )

Location is perfect. I loved how clean and well kept everything is. Service at Patria was amazing and food was 100% perfect. Would definitely recommend to all of my friends and family.

Their rooms and suites are very nice. They have changed for the worst in terms of winning and staff. The free play give back rate is terrible and large dining certificates are rarely for use when steak house is open. It is pretty quiet even when it is packed. Yet and still, I like this casino better than NY & NJ! I miss the made to order pasta station in the buffet at Niagara. Once I came here with only $25. & left with $20, 000. I didn't have any free play. My husband is hard to please & he loves it! It is very far for me, but I will return. They also have nice, unusual gifts from marketing. Valet parking is FREE. The spa services are very good. It is SAFE, security is visible.

We are members of the players club, and love coming here on a regular basis. Players club members regularly receive free slot play credits and different giveaway incentives. The facilities are well maintained and clean, and all interactions with staff have been courteous and helpful. We will continue to return.

My wife and I went to see a Kenny Rogers concert. The production and sound were great. The only negative is that the seating is rather crowded and uncomfortable. We spent a little time in the casino, and it was fun. They could use a few more waitresses though. Overall it was a great experience.

Service was great! The younger girl/employee with outgoing personality was cute, fun, & made it more fun then it normally is playing roulette. The buffett was amazing & full of different choices.

I love going to the casino. Although I don't win much of anything, it is a fun and exciting day. The staff are always pleasant, and the free drinks while you are playing the slots are fantastic.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are gorgeous. Folks that work there are very friendly. Very clean. Nice restaurants and bars. Gift shop very nice bit prices are high. Easy to get to right off 86

Our service at the buffet was great. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure that we all had what we needed. The host was very accommodating to our party of 11 people. Was an enjoyable experience. Food was good too.

Visited recently with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great time, the buffet had delicious food. My husband played poker for a bit and the dealer kept making errors during the game, to the point him and another guest got up and walked away. Other than that it was a great time!

This hotel sincerely goes above and beyond for the comfort and relaxation of its guests. I've traveled to 46 states across the country and counting and have gotten motels in at least half of them and the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is still at the top of my list!

The new layout and elimination of my favorite games was a disappointment. The buffet quality and selections has declined. I have no need to drive to Allegheny when I have options closer to home. Will be a long time before I try this establishment again.

I had a great experience at the casino! We went to the buffet and had Connie as our wire and she was a delight! The food was great and very fresh. After we went upstairs to do some gambling and had a great time!

It's always a pleasure to visit our local Seneca Allegheny Resort & Casino. We especially enjoyed the Friday evening buffet. The selections suited our varied tastes and dessert put a smile on our happy faces. Swimming and the hot tub is our choice of recreation. It's family friendly, and clean. We especially like that we can tour the hotels many attractions without crossing the gaming floor, with children in tow. Our room was fantastic as always. Clean and fresh, with all the essential amenities. A hotel wouldn't be considered "fine" without taking into account the staffs performance. They are on their toes anticipating your every need with a sincere, pleasant attitude. When we have out of town guests, they also enjoy the hotel as much as we do. It's an experience that can be counted on, time and time again.

Finally getting some much needed renovations to the casino itself. New carpeting makes the gaming floor much brighter, they tore down the wall to the bar area which makes it a lot less claustrophobic, and the best update are modern slot machines are replacing some of the severely dated ones that no one played. Now, if they only fixed up the older machines that still get a lot of play, such as the Double Diamond Run and Cleopatra. The reels are faded and light bulbs have been burnt out for years.

I'm currently employed installing carpet at the casino. Atmosphere is nice can't wait to be there for play not work.

Rooms are decent sized and very clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable but worth the stay!

Great location, right off 86. I never win on the slots but my gf does. Minimum on the tables games can be high, especially for the area. Decent casino.

Free rooms and free drinks what is there not to like! I am 26 and have been coming here once or twice a year it's small but I am more into the table games not slots. Cheap minimums around $5-10 bucks for Blackjack same for roulette and craps. The cons are smoking, literally nothing to do besides gamble, no nightlife around the casino at all, the people that come here are questionable, and the free rooms are only during the week. This place is perfect for you and your significant other or a couple of close buddies to get away and gamble for a night.

Been going for years and never have won anything big. I have spent thousands at both Allegany and. Niagara only to receive 15.00 dollars slot play. They think 5 dollar free play is giving you something. I do get comp rooms but they are next to impossible to get especially in Niagara. I grew up in that area and only go to see family, friends and to waste my money. Compared to other casinos in neighboring Pa, I give Allegany 2 1/2 stars.

My husband and I live 5 hours from the casino. We drove up for the day. We loved it. They gave us $40.00 each in slot play. We played $1. Machines and more. We kept winning here and there. Spent hours there. Left with much more than we came with. Played Bingo down the road. Had a wonderful time. 2 weeks later, we each received $80. Free slot play and $90. Comp money and 2 free night stays in their hotel, every week for 6 weeks. Its the most that any casino offers. And we have been to a lot of casinos including Las Vegas, Md, Atlantic City, and 6 in Pa, where we live. We went back up using our free nights stay, and they surprised us by upgrading us to the corner Jacuzzi suite. It was the cleanest hotel that we ever stayed at. It's our favorite casino. Could do better with the food at the buffet.

I took my 18 year old son for his first experience at your casino and I was very very disappointed in the small area and games you had in there. They were all high bet games just to win. Where were all the fun games that are penny games you can bet just 25 cents, 40 cents per spin? for example: whales of cash, pompeii, timber wolf, and so on. Those quick hits are not fun for 18 through 21 who have there 1st experience. Now he doesn't want to go back and enjoy time there and with his family and the buffet. I truly felt sorry for my son because he was bored with the games. Change it up PLEASE. Make it worth their time and to return!
