This Hampton has lived up to my experiences of Hamptons being excellent! The room is pristine, breakfast was amazing, and the staff is super attentive and friendly.

This place is fantastic in the middle of the Adirondacks. Just minutes from Quebec. Quaint peaceful just relaxing in the evening.

The room is well stocked with all the usual amenities. Breakfast is offered in the morning and there's coffee available all day. There's a nice sitting area outside. A very nice place to stay.

I will stay there again next year very clean and reasonable friendly breakfast was awesome.

This was one of the best visits I have had to a hotel in a long time. The staff was very nice and helpful. They gave me anything I needed and always asked if I needed help with anything. The room was very nice and clean as well.

Room is clean. Was given the wrong room number and no one answered the front desk phone so I had to go back down. Some one popped a bottle on my car in the parking lot and they have no cameras out there so you're vehicle isn't safe. Not very happy with this experience so far.

Very friendly staff. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were soft, the water in the shower hot and perfect after a whiteout blizzard in the Adirondacks. Breakfast was included, hot fresh coffee and oatmeal (there was more, that is what I had). Close to town close to Clarkson. We will be back.

Can’t say enough about the helpfulness and genuine concern from the staff! Had to travel to Potsdam for my son due to emergency medical situation… checked in very late after son’s surgery just a couple days before college parents weekend. My stay was going to span the weekend & the staff first tried to find me another place to stay as they were booked solid. Thankfully there was a cancellation and they extended my stay and honored a discounted rate for me.
Each time I encountered staff at the desk they asked how my son was and how I was. They were so kind and helpful! I even came back one evening to a little gift bag with snacks and water with a note wishing my son a speedy recovery.

Rooms are modern and clean. Beds are moderately comfortable. Shower has great water pressure. Breakfast is decent with typical hot and cold continental items. Fitness facility is sparse but adequate. It does have an indoor heated pool but no jacuzzi. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.

This hotel is ALWAYS clean! The staff are ALWAYS friendly. I have never had an issue staying here.

The Hampton inn Potsdam is a great place to stay. I was here with two young kids and they were very accommodating. A pleasant stay for sure, which is why we keep using this hotel for trips to Potsdam!

From the first view to leaving it was great. The place is 2 years old but looks brand new. Staff are brilliant.

Nice clean modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. About the only negative I found was a view out of the window to the McDonald's drive-thru.

The general quality of every Hampton Inn is consistently above average. My recent visit to the Hampton Inn Potsdam was excellent in every way. I reserved a room through their website. That process was simple and included an email the day prior allowing me to check in online. I opted to do that the old fashioned way. The location is convenient to enter and park. The entrance is positioned such that it's a short walk from your car regardless. Check-in at 5pm took about 3 minutes without any issue. My room on the second floor was accessed with a proximity card. No more inserting the card and waiting for the light to turn on! The room itself seemed larger than average. Adjacent room noise was non existent. Overall, I have nothing to criticize about the room. I've stayed in $300/night hotels that don't compare to this place. The morning featured a free, all you can eat buffet within a spacious seating area that offers several seating options. The breakfast buffet offered warm and cold choices. My scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and coffee was restaurant quality. Check out was polite and immediate. I will have ongoing overnight stays in the Potsdam area and will continue to stay at this hotel.

My son and I stayed one night while on a college visit. We checked in late at 10pm after a long day of driving. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. Toiletries available — soap, shampoo, body wash. Plenty of towels. Cold ac. I saw a man ask for a razor and shave cream. Typical layout for a hampton inn with 2 queen beds. Breakfast was omlettes, bacon, waffles — make your own-, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, cereal, … and the list goes on. I have stayed in several Hampton Inn and have never been disappointed. My view was of McDonald's. That's ok. The McDonald's was clean and well run too. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The manager and staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They made suggestions on places to visit and eat. Helped with directions to different places. Their breakfast was great.

Everything is great about the Hampton Inn at Potsdam, the people are nice, breakfast is delicious, they just don't have a hot tub.

My family is staying here for a couple weeks while our house undergoes repairs from a small chimney/attic fire. The staff is friendly, the kids are enjoying the heated pool, I've used the gym a couple of times (perhaps not as often as I should), and the breakfast is pretty good. I don't care for their scrambled eggs, but all the other items are very good.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Stayed here for a business trip and would stay here again.

The Wi-Fi sucks. It's so slow I felt like I was back in the 90's on dial up.
