Love the vibe! Its close/walking distance to the Village, Soho and Chinatown. The lounge area is cozy with a fireplace and comfy seating if you prefer a couch. The outdoor terrace is beautiful and I spent many a morning/evening just relaxing and having that first cup of coffee or a nigh-cap before going back to the room. The rooms are spacious and I have been back many times. Love it there!

Since when is it ok to kick out clients with emotional support pets? I am sure it's illegal! Shame on you!

The Bowery Electric is one of the last great music venues in NYC! The venue, staff and entertainment are top notch! Keep the music alive and support this venue!

Fun, HIP place to see bands! Bartender was horrible. Kept his back to us the whole time. The electric Bowery would have made a lot more money if we could get his attention a little more.

We were There to see my son’s band MOJOHAND! They were awesome and next time I will bring 29 people as long as the same bartender is not working! Lol Venue a little awkward where the band is placed. The band is not in front of the bar but behind the curtain in the back! Small doorway with which to see the band play.
Overall a good place.

Fun venue but bar prices were a bit ridiculous. Was charged $4 for a soda water and $13 for a cocktail even though the sign advertised $12. Mentioned it to the bartender and he was like “oh guess we have to change the sign. ” Kinda ruined the vibe.

Great venue for live music! Audio setup is better than most bars of similar size! Draft lines need to be cleaned though! Stick to bottles or mixed.

Great venue. Place for great concerts with a amazing sound and atmosphere. The entrance bar is a especial place besides de Concert room.

The Bowery Ballroom is a good place to have a concert. It is a much more intimate feel than a arena or stadium. I went here for a concert & it was nice. The people who work there are approachable & helpful. The only bad thing is that it's standing room only so it can be uncomfortable for awhile especially if you're in the thick of the crowd. There is a bar & comfortable seating in the lobby area.

Bar with a stage on Delancey St, Manhattan. Music bands play there and the place gets packed! The men's room starts to look and smell like something out of a horror movie after a while! Parking in the area is tough, but after a few drive-arounds I always find one. Guinness Stout in a can was ($9 each, mixed drinks around $10 depending on drink, Bud-Light $7, July 2018 for reference).

Great venue. Three bars no waiting. Get there early for the balcony seats. Wish I had. Otherwise your standing all night or sitting somewhere you can’t see the stage. Tho the sound is good every where.

Great venue, great sound and beautiful decoration. Unfortunately I had to take off some stars because the security guys were so rude. They all barked at us and were really unpleasant for no reason.

Loved it here! Super chilled atmosphere, beautiful pre drinks bar area, although expensive it wasn't extortionate. Went to see Nick Mulvey for just $20 — what a steal! Returning for Ben Harper in a few months, can't wait. Doormen were nice enough, as were bar staff. Clean toilets, gig started on time. Nice acoustics. Worried about the limited seating on the upstairs balcony, I will be 6 months pregnant at the time and if I can't find a seat I'll be very disappointed.

I've seen artists like Anderson East, Michael Kiwanuka, Brett Dennen, Fruit Bats, Lawrence, and Hiss Golden Messenger here, all were excellent!

There is no other place I'd rather see a show. Sound quality is unbelievable. There isn't a bad view in the house. Easy to get stage front. Crowd is always appreciative of the band and is good about over cell phone use.

More intimate (250 capacity) venue with an iconic bar at the entrance/basement. Best beer prices are $5 for Narragansett, $6 for a PBR tall boy.

Hands down the best venue to see live music in NYC and possibly the country. I've seen at least 30 shows and it gets better every time.

Saw The Honey Brothers there back in April 2012. Cool, old stage theater venue where the bands rock out. Loved the cool basement bar where we hung out a bit too. So used to being in places where cameras aren't permitted that I didn't bring it. Had I known I could, I would've had fun taking some photos with it. Got some nice cell photos though. Definitely would see another show there in the future, camera permitted or not.

Sound was great. Big ballroom and a bar on each floor… the bathroom however was in the basement. "Pee before you go and enjoy the show! "

Still a classic NYC venue. Great bands, great staff, great sound, great bartenders, great prices… You really can't not enjoy yourself at a show at Bowery Ballroom. Happy hour from 7-8 before shows that open at 8:30. Their sound and stage staff are all thorough professionals. Lighting has even been upgraded recently! Definitely catch a show there if you can.

Saw the Bernhoft. This place reminds me of The Fillmore in SF. There wasn't a bad spot in the place to jam. Intimate space with a small balcony and main floor with standing room only. Acoustics were great.

This is my favorite concert venue in NY. The room and sound are great. Usually pre and post show happy hours. Usually able to hang out with band members who have rooms to chill in on either side of the second floor bar.

A little shady but has a nice vibe to it, floor shakes during more intense shows. Not very noticeable from the street as it is sort of a hole in the wall, but their system for entering and exiting before and after shows makes getting out easy and faster than every other venue.

Excellent place to see a concert or show. Neat classic venue. The night I attended a show Donald Trump was working the bar. Special treat to see the trumpster.

One of the smaller venues in New York but the perfect place to see a wide variety of acts. Excellent sound, easy to move about, ample bars and restrooms. Well designed, and well worth going.

Neat little place. We went for Kiefer Sutherland's band and enjoyed the downstairs bar as well as the upstairs bar in the ballroom. This is definitely a smaller and more intimate venue but that is more to its credit than anything.

Such a cool venue! Great local beer! Awesome vibe! Perfection! Recommend that place to anyone who likes to drink beer and listen to some fun music.

— the Downstairs Bar is like a completely different vibe… more polished and not smelly… bigger stage for live music … CONS:
— (Upstairs Bar) absurd amount of sweaty, smelly patrons that 100% haven't showered in a week (rock n roll)
— Upstairs stage is absurd. Not only is it maybe 6 ft wide but they are tucked away so that only the front row of about 5 people standing directly in front of stage can actually see them.
— downstairs stage has great "bowery electric" neon sign that is never lit up.

I really enjoy sitting with Selena Gomez on the highest floor here, sipping whiskey neat. But honestly, nowheres high enough.

One of the best music venues in NYC. Great sound, good bars inside and lots of great music. If you had to choose a place to listen in an intimate environment, this would be it. Drawback is no seating downstairs (limited seats upstairs).

I must be fair and say that this place is absolutely beautiful. But bring money and a lot of it. This is where a lot of celebrities stay when they are passing through New York City. Now! I have to tell the truth as a New York City Local Guide. You will be treated like royalty here. But Local Guide aside. This is one of the many places that moved to the Bowery and changed it's Artistic & Musical reputation and ruined it. The Bowery used to be a thriving Art & Music scene. It was gritty and Punk Rockers walked by. CBGB'S is even a high end store now. And the Bowery is Spotless and little by little the Art & Music People were pushed out. Sad…

Great location for where we wanted to eat (East Village). We had a King Bed in the NW corner, Rm 1111. Walls and floor were solid (they don't make them like that anymore! ) So we weren't worries about our infant disturbing neighbors when he made noise. Hotel provided a pretty decent crib. Bathroom was spacious and well lit with a large soaking tub and vintage faucet and hand shower head (shaped like and old telephone) and ceiling mounted rainfall shower head. Modern thankless toilet and plenty of towel hanging space! Nice lavender — mint toiletries, even bath salts which were nice. Bed was a bit soft for our liking but plenty spacious even when the little one wanted out of the crib. Turn down service was a surprise with italian flat water, three italian style cookies, and comfy slippers! Super-stocked mini bar with lots of "extras" as in non-edibles (teddy bear, umbrella, chargers, intimacy kits). The keys were interesting magnetically coded traditionally shapes keys, so be careful with storing it near your wallet. It was great nice to stay at a place that has the old fashioned key wall behind the service desk. Elevators are small except for the center one. The Italian restaurant (Gemma) on the first floor was packed everytime we walked by but we didn't get to try it.

I was at The Bowery for a food event. The event space was fun and interesting with a good amount of room. The bartenders and servers were great. I'm looking forward to another event there.

I love this hotel which is now my home away from home. Funny little dark lounge and old fashioned rooms with a teddy bear on every bed but so welcoming, excellent showers, well stocked fridges and amazing views up and down town. Apparently the restaurant downstairs is very good, I never ate there. I preferred to eat at the bazillion restaurants within walking distance from the front door. Quirky but very cool without any hipster vibes.

I work for a non-profit college and needed to cancel a non-refundable reservation for a guest that wished to make their own booking. The management listened to my problem and agreed to cancel the reservation, even though they didn't have to. I am truly grateful and will be making future reservations there.

As a Hyatt Gold Passport Member, I have never received such great service, including a supplement drink. The staff is great, to us and the issues we have raised a lot of attention, hotel is very clean and has a nice swimming pool, gym and resting area. I used to live about 12 Hyatt, here is the best one so far. Hotel itself is very close to Citi field and La Guardia Airport.

Have never felt more comfortable in an NYC hotel — rooms were big and service was excellent. Room service is also full access to the restaurant Gemma which was delicious.

I'm speaking for the bar. The bar restaurant has an amazing vibe. The location is amazing. Gene make a good recommendation on beer.

We tried to come in for a drink with some friends and I've never experienced such rudeness from the staff from anywhere in NYC. There is no ambiance at all except snobbery. The staff treated us like garbage. If you want a place that's beautiful AND friendly with nice service. Do not come here.

Lovely hotel! I went to a party here and have no beef. I did not check out the rooms but can tell you I would stay here from the looks of things.

The bowery is a fun venue because there is no guard rail and no staff. The atmosphere is good, and the upper balcony serves well for people that just want to have a chill concert experience.

Hands down one of the best music venues in NYC. Acoustics on the upper level are fantastic, as well as having a bar away from the masses.

I have never been disappointed by a concert at this venue. The setting is very intimate. Before the doors are opened, you can wait in the lounge bar downstairs, which is very relaxing. If possible, I would suggest getting a table on the balcony if they're not reserved, which they usually are.

How cool is that? ) The eternal flame — there is always a warm, inviting hearth awaiting you and your friends, business guests from out of town at this boutique hotel in NYC's bourgeoning, hip Bowery street, where upscale boutiques, art galleries and restaurants converge where international visitors and locals feel at home in a timeless setting of plush, velour comfortable seating, outdoor veranda / sunroom, and late night scene of fashionistas imbibing at all hours. There's also a piano for those inclined to play. Next door is their restaurant Gemma, which has brunch on weekends, freshly made goodies and really kind staff. It's a nice place to stay a bit.

Very cool hotel, my new favorite. It feels like you're stepping into another decade, however the rooms are fresh and modern while keeping with the theme. We had a tiny glitch with our reservation (requested a certain room, wrong check out date) but the staff fixed everything quickly without breaking a sweat or making us feel weird. The suites are fantastic and generously sized especially for New York. Get a room with a tub if you can, it's huge. The bar is great but gets busy at night. There are couches reserved only for hotel guests, which was classy. Room service goes all night. Neighborhood is interesting but generally upscale and hip. Lots of places to eat right outside plus a bunch of cool shops. You can walk to stuff or not walk but there's plenty in very close proximity. I loved our stay here, I'd definitely come back.

The Bowery Ballroom is a great venue for a show. The downstairs bar area is cozy and dark, with lots of seating along the outer edges. The main stage, upstairs, though, is my favorite. The room is small enough that it feels intimate, and the balcony is great (if you can manage to get up there). Sure, it'll be packed, but with a venue so small, you'll be sure to get a great view and feel like you were part of a special experience.
