Location is fantastic and the staff is very helpful and approachable. Rooms were expectedly small but there was a support column taking up space. Beds were clean but were a box spring instead of an actual mattress.

This is ok if you're trying to stay for only 1 day or for a few days. I recommend to select the room with a private bathroom. It is a bit larger than the single room. Every room is just for two people. The rooms are clean. And I also highly recommend to bring your own blankets and an extra bed comforter. The beds are really firm queen sized. Way too hard for my liking. But overall it was ok and quite. Not ideal if you're coming from a far place.

It's exactly what you pay for. A bathroom to use, a bed, and even a TV and Wifi. The bed and pillow were very hard but did not interfere with my sleep. The front desk receptionist was very nice. I recommend for cheap and bare minimum accommodations.

Simple, clean and very well located. And by that I mean it’s in Chinatown, and there’s a market next door and a million things to do nearby. Wouldn’t call it boutique, but definitely an experience worth having. Rooms are small so you’ll sleep like a giant.

Clean, small, relatively cheap, and friendly staff. All-around a good hotel. But do not get a windowless room. You WILL overheat. It’s hot, stuffy, and there’s no airflow in the cramped room. Pay the $17 more for a windowed room and enjoy yourself instead of sweating all night. Better for your health too. Beds are very hard, so bring your own cushions or blankets if you can’t handle sleeping on a hard surface. Bathrooms are pretty good for being shared. Staff was extraordinary and very helpful and informative. They hold onto the key if you need them to (there’s only one). This hotel is in Chinatown, and you walk out right onto the sidewalk. There’s capitalone and chase banks next door, and lots of restaurants nearby.

Cheap hotel with small rooms but it was extraordinarily clean and bed bug free which is all you can ask at this price. The room was nothing special but served my friends and I a nice place to crash after bar hopping.

I'm giving this hotel 4 stars because it was great for what it is, a cheap hotel in Manhattan, it's by no means a 4 star hotel. We paid $68 for a room here. I've never paid so little anywhere. The room only had a bed, two lights, a tiny tv, a desk and a chair and they barely fit in there. Everything was very clean and it was quiet. There were several shared bathrooms in the floor. We barely used them but they clean and worked. We were very pleased with what we got for the price we paid.

Decent place to stay for the price. Right in Manhattan. Everything was clean and it seemed safe. The rooms are tiny and bare, but if you just need a place to sleep, it's well worth the price.

I have stayed in about five or six hostels in Chinatown. This is by far the nicest. I had a double room which was much larger than any other place I’ve stayed. The room had a real ceiling rather than a drop ceiling or no ceiling at all. So it was much quieter. The halls are clean and well kept. Bathrooms were cleaned frequently and had much nicer facilities. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. It does cost a little more than some other places, but it’s well worth it. I will be staying here again.

Pretty good for the price, and quote good location. Better than expected.

Very cheap. You will notice, unfortunately. It is not the cleanest Hotel, but it is New York, it is very Central and especially for the location especially convenient.

Small room but clean. Toilets and shower facilities are shared. It's just a no frills hotel. Prices relatively cheap given its NYC. Obviously if I had the money to go elsewhere I would. This is just barely above hostel level but for the money is hard to argue with it.

This place is not bad me and my wife came to NY for a week not bad location close to the Brooklyn bridge and Freedom Tower the room was not bad can't expect a 5 star room when you pay a fraction of the price if we come back we will stay her for sure.

Small but clean rooms, lots of stairs and no elevator. Shared bathrooms but more than one so never had to wait, and they were clean. Great value for Manhattan!

Very basic but functional hotel. Clean rooms, very tiny though — but good value for money in Manhattan! Shared bathrooms were clean and rooms surprisingly soundproof. A lot of stairs though!

Fairly cheap and friendly staff. Room was tiny, we had an inner room with no window but it was surprising comfortable. The air con is controlled by a central unit so we couldn't change it but fortunately it was cool enough over the night.

Stayed there twice. Not an upscale lodge, but reasonably priced and good location.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I didn't realize it was a shared bathroom with the other rooms and that was not listed on their website or the third party websites. There are rooms with a bathroom available but more expensive. The rooms are tiny and have nothing in them besides a double bed, a desk, and 2 towels. The rooms and bathrooms are very old and dirty. The pillows are stained covered by a pillowcase. The bed is a 9/10 on the hardness scale. I would recommend not spending money on this hotel unless you are looking for a cheap place to crash for a night or two.

Bathrooms are dirty, soap dispensers are gross. Bedroom walls are dirty with snot and other stuff. Seems like they have enough employees to clean more thoroughly. One lady was scrubbing the wall outside with a toothbrush, should have been done inside. Only reason for 3 stars is that it was very cheap.

Place is a really cheap place to stay, super small and bad room rooms but as just a place to sleep works perfectly. Perfect area super close and accessible to everything. Owner is cheap and might scam you but other then that beds are 50/50 beds comfy or hard as a rock. Not even a single hotel room literally a 4x5 room. For a night out or weekend is wotth it.

Rooms are very very small, just a double bed, desk, and 3 feet of floor space. Which is fine for the price. Booked for 3 people and were told upon arriving we cant have 3 and need to book another room at regular price. In the end costing twice what we were informed beforehand.

If you're just going to sleep in the room and spend the rest of the time exploring and experiencing NYC then this is the place. It is cheap and close to everything else. Check the pictures.

Low prize and calm clean place. If you plan to spend just sleep time in hotel and spend all day in the city than it's ok. Hotel has no services indeed yet I got what I expected. The quitness in hotel is surprising, no voice from streets. Of course there are noisy guests you will hear that. Low price yet good stay. Shared shower but you can lock yourself in so this was also fine.

Perfect place for resting overnight. Inexpensive place. It's not wheelchair accessible.

Shared restroom? No way. The sheets were a dingy yellow. We left within 5 min.

Super cheap hotel for backpackers or travelers with low budget, well located and easy access.

The hotel is located in Chinatown, it is quite cheap for the area where it is, that if there are no windows in all the rooms and it looks like a hideout, not to mention that the bathroom is shared.

Very good location and cheap coffee near it.

Adequate for a temporary stay if all you really need is a place to sleep.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. If you like your hotel room to be clean, cozy, or bigger than a jail cell; this is not the place for you. The sketchiest people were on our floor and were so drugged out they couldn't hold a conversation. Unless you buy the two priciest room options you have a public bathroom and they are disgusting; moldy, drugs left over, and people do not clean up after themselves. Since it is a public restroom you don't want to get into the shower without shoes, but the shower shoes they provide you are not new, nor are they clean or sanitized. The sheets were both white and off colored to a yellow shade, which means they do not use bleach to sanitize their sheets. DO NOT GO HERE unless: 1. It is to do a ton of drugs and you don't care about where you are to that. 2. You are bringing back a cheap hooker or one night stand. 3. You are okay with maybe catching diseases.

Very close to the subway and to the main places in general.

It is in the center of China town close to subways and shops and food also very nice at the front desk. Small rooms, hard bed, very warm no A. C. All stairs and it is four floors so be ready to do some walking.

Believe it or not, this hotel is actually doable for a one night stay. It's cle. N. I stayed in a room that had a bathroom. I can't do the "shared bathroom" thing and my room was on the same floor as the lobby so I felt safe. The price was good for NYC. It's not luxary or good for more than one. Night, maybe 2 if you're drunk. The bed was super HARD! I never felt anything like it. It felt like sheets on top of concrete. I actually had to make sure it wasn't concrete. It was wood with a mattress cover on top. The room was small. The window view was a view of trash. Yuk. But it is NYC! So I give it a 3 star because of the hard bed and window view. Also if you stay here, you have to get the remote for the TV at the front desk and it's a $20 deposit. I'm not sure why they don't tell you that but I found out by reading another review before I went.

AMONG all the hotels of CHINA TOWN is the most clean and not smell to NANGARA and not has SOUPS microwave, good shower and EXTRACTOR D air for FLATULENCE, MINI flat panel TV channels in Chinese… xD.
