I call this hotel for a housekeeping job and he sald he only hire Spanish people that’s not nice I am not happy.

I have to say that, generally, the rooms, the staff and the stay at Gateway in Merrick, NY is always a great deal. This last time, I have to say, it pretty much, sucked. We got there and check-in was quick and easy, found our room no problem. The problem came when we opened the room to go in… all we could smell was marijuana… the room reeked of the stuff… there was NO Wi-Fi at all. (Room #119) this is the norm for the rooms closest to the front. The view was a brick wall. And when asked if we could get another room were told if we had come earlier there would be another but there were none available… the parking lot was empty on our side of the motel so I;m thinking that was not the truth. Regardless, there wasn't even an ATTEMPT at getting us a room that didn't stink of pot…
Kevin, the manager, has always gone above and beyond to make sure we are always happy with out stay,,, apparantly Kevin wasn't available because I'm sure he would have made it right!
