This is definitely the place to stay if you want to be spoiled! Jean and Mike made us feel so at home in this lovely and cozy manor. We have a 10 inch tempura mattress at home because my hubby has problems with knees, hips and back. He slept so soundly and woke without pain. We plan to call Jean and Mike and ask them about the mattress. 👍 His only recommendation is to remove the staircase😂😂😂. That was a joke that Jean will Mike will understand due to my husbands sense of humor. The staircase is grand. The brunch is outstanding and no need to eat any lunch. We still had satisfied stomachs by dinner time. Thank you! If we are ever in this area we will be back.

Our stay at Tillinghast Manor was the perfect getaway. The house is absolutely beautiful and because we were staying mid week, they upgraded us to the Roosevelt suite which was so nice! Our hosts were so friendly and treated us like we were family who had moved in. The breakfasts were some of the best we've had in years, and when we missed one, they put in in the fridge in tupperware for us! The location in Ovid allows for access to the northern and southern ends of both Lake Cayuga and Seneca, so anything in the region is in reach. We would definitely recommend it, and would certainly stay there again.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely B&B located in the heart of the Finger lake region between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. Jean and Mike were very welcoming and went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed for a wonderful experience. As I was celebrating a birthday, I was delighted to discover that Jean had decorated our room with birthday items, complete with a cake, sparkling wine and champagne glasses, cheese and crackers and a beautiful bouquet of assorted roses. The room was nicely appointed, had a private updated bath and a closet stocked with everything from extra linens, china, coffeemaker and coffee and a fridge with assorted juices, beverages, yogurts, etc. And a basket of snacks. There were also robes and slippers for our use. They thought of everything. We were served a hearty and delicious breakfast each morning in our own private dining area. We truly enjoyed our stay and have already booked for next year. There are an abundance of wineries to explore as well as waterfall trails and parks and restaurants within a short distance. We highly recommend Tillinghast Manor.
