Review of Best Western Plus Liverpool - Syracuse Inn & Suites 2*

We selected this hotel through Priceline deal as an overnight get away to shop the Destiny USA mall and were not disappointed. The desk staff was very friendly and even though we arrived early they inquired if we wanted first or second floor and provided us with our room immediately. The room was clean and very nice. We decided to change and take a quick dip in the pool. The pool area was clean and stocked with towels. The pool was a little cool but we enjoyed the hot tub to relax after the long drive. We were only 10 min from the mall where we spent the remainder of the day and enjoyed dinner at the Cheesecake Factory although there are many dining location in the area. We found a quaint ice cream stand for desert. Back at the hotel it was quiet and very relaxing. Even though it is close to the thruway we heard no traffic noise and no noise from adjoining rooms or above use (we were on the first floor). The beds were comfortable. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast the next morning was very nice with sausage, egg, mini (great for kids or small appetites) or regular size, waffles, cereal, yogurts, fruit and beverages. I also wanted to mention that during the later hours the food area had cold lemon water and even cookies. I was most impressed by the staff. The front desk welcoming, every housekeeping person encountered friendly and helpful if asked a question, and seeing the manager helping out at the breakfast, including cleaning up, and making sure the guests have every thing they need explains why this hotel is a pleasure to stay at. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place in the Syracuse area.
