Delightful B&B with cute dogs, clean comfy beds, yummy breakfasts and warm hosts; all within walking distance of 2 delicious restaurants and a short drive (or long walk) into town. You won’t be disappointed!

Went to Rose and Thistle many times. Food is wonderful, Patti is the most kindest person you will ever meet. This place is cozy charming and very welcoming. You will come as a stranger but leave as a friend.

Wonderful experience staying at The Rose and Thistle. Our host Patti was so warm and welcoming. The beautiful guest room made me feel at home and the gourmet breakfast in the morning could be beat. I highly recommend this B&B!

Patti is a wonderful host. Very comfortable rooms with smallish bathrooms. Great big home cooked breakfasts. Be on time — she says 8:30 sharp she means 8:30 sharp!

First time at a Bed & Breakfast and wanted to surprise my boyfriend for the weekend. Patty was very friendly from the moment we arrived. It felt like we were coming to visit an old friend. The home was exactly how I imagined a Bed & Breakfast should be. Breakfast was served at 8:30 and what an event. Not only was the coffee and food good but the company was even better. Patty is able to bring a bunch of strangers in a room and make us all feel like we were all friends catching up on old times. Looking forward to our next visit already. P. S. My boyfriend absolutely loved everything about the weekend.

My daughter went to a birthday party/sleepover and had a wonderful time! The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries. The hospitality was great, as Patti set up a tea party in the afternoon and a delicious pancake breakfast the next morning. Would highly recommend staying at the Rose and Thistle. Thank you again Patti!

I just had my daughter's 10th birthday sleepover party at The Rose and Thistle. I've thrown some amazing party's for her over the yrs. But this was the best idea ever! Patti was so wonderful and had everything set up so beautifully. The girls just loved her and her yummy cooking! She had set up tea and finger sandwiches, choclates, mini cupckaes and so many goodies. We had 11 Girls for the party and they did not want to go home! The rooms were so beautiful and we loved everything about The Rose and Thistle. Hands down one of the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at.

If you like B&Bs, you will love the Rose & Thistle. Over many visits we've had sumptuous meals and met dozens of interesting folks at the breakfast table, ably presided over by owner Patti. Only caveat, to ensure you are not disappointed, is that if you're expecting a Euro-styled hostel, this place may be a little startling. Its Victorian exterior design carries straight into every nook and cranny of the lushly-appointed interior. That having been understood, you won't be sorry you stay at Rose & Thistle.

Patti is character and breakfast is delicious. Some of the rooms are a little noisy and others have tiny bathrooms. Great atmosphere though.

A perfect place to stay while visiting Cooperstown. The house is in great shape, the rooms are good, the breakfasts are even better and Patti is an excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can easily recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area.

We stayed at pattys rose and thistle 5/23/17 Only wish we could have stayed 2 nights, We would stay there again, patty was an excellent host, our room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious. All the comforts of home and more. Joe and Diane.

Quaint, nice comfortable beds, Patti is very nice, food was terrific, highly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful place to stay. The room and breakfast is 5 stars but what makes this a must is Patti the owner. Warm, funny and full of stories she makes you feel welcome in her home. When we return the Rose and Thistle is the only place we will stay.

My wife and I got our baseball fix visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame as well as a relaxing stay at The Rose & Thistle. Steve and Patti were great, giving us recommendations of restaurants as well as the local must see places. Our room was cozy and clean and breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed spending time visiting with both Steve and Patti as well, very nice people. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Cooperstown, all the way from CA.
