I wanted to talk about my frustration and poor customer service from Buffalo Marriott Niagara hotel located on Millersports Hwy. I visited this place to get some information for their banquet hall on September 20, the director of sales Joyce Curry (picture in the bottom) assured that she would send details via email later in the evening as she was the only one working in that department. I did not receive the email she promised that day. I waited for another two days and followed up. I must have left about two messages and my teammates also left few messages. No response. I emailed her as well. Her response was please bare with me, I will send you details tomorrow. Again no details were received. So I called her on Saturday to see if she could possibly send me confirmation and email me the details. Her response “I know I am supposed to send you details but I am the only one here and I am busy with events. I asked her if she had any timeline for me? She said she didn’t know but maybe following week on Tuesday. One would think okay, I will wait until Tuesday next week to get the details. Take a wild guess! You think I got that email from her? Nope! So I decide to pay another visit at the hotel. The staff said she was busy with customers. I left my name and number, no response no call no email. So now I decide to politely confront her through an email saying will we ever be on her priority list? No response to that email.

Poorly maintained, not cleaned at all in the week I have stayed here. No vacuum has been run, our room has not been cleaned. The staff are helpful overall but it is clear that they don’t have the resources they need to be successful.

No towels — not a clean room at all — laundry machines broken — pools still closed — uncomfortable beds-no microwave-very disappointing for the price paid per night. ⭐️

It is one of the 4 stars hotel in the area. It is so luxury, clean and room services are very good.

This hotel is great love it we having a great time here. We definitely coming back.

Great chicken quas and great staff.

Had work done in the house and the voc’s drove us out. Stayed here overnight and had a nice restful stay. While there found out all the nice little amenities that are available to help a stressed traveler unwind. Highly recommended.

Place is OK. The staff makes it GREAT and this is why I return here every time I’m in Buffalo. Their professionalism and personalized special touches make time away from home a better experience. Warm greetings, friendly conversation, impeccable service and attention to detail is a norm. Highly recommended.

The front desk service was horrendous! The front desk manager I believe his name was Justin but I could be wrong was aweful and made my family and I feel like we were bugging him or like we were not good enough to be there, he was very rude and sarcastic, Richard was also very u pleasant! We felt completely uncomfortable what a rip off as far as price goes!

My AC did not work all night Nicole at the desk was not even simpathetic. I told her she was like oh it did not work not even sorry about or we will look into it. I had 2 rooms employee rate shouldnt matter we still paid for the room.

It has comfort, asepsis, elegance, functionality, excellent place to enjoy a restful rest.

Great food fast service at the restaurant.

I have been traumatized by this hotel visit. The unkempt facility as activated my anxiety. The Marriott image has been tarnished. The Colonizer has been taking advantage of the hospitality industry. I am blowing the whistle. No longer will the attitude of the Privileged be tolerated. Thank you for that information, Schnika. Overall I'm satisfied with my stay, but am a little disappointed with the no free breakfast like most hotels I've previously stayed at. The rooms are also a little small and with no microwave. The beds are very comfortable and the cleaning services are very professional. There is an indoor outdoor pool and also courtyard area that is very nice and very spacious.

Decent hotel. The front desk was a little slow but the staff were helpful and nice. It’s a walk to the elevators which was interesting. My room was a good size with more modern furnishings and a large LCD (48”+). The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom is very small but served it’s purpose. Personally I prefer the newer Courtyard one exit down the highway.

I absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are so clean and the customer service is PHENOMENAL. I even loved our staff at the grill/bar, Joshua was our sever/bartender. He was attentive, upbeat, and made us feel like special guests. A+ service!

Buffalo Marriott Niagara was one of my best business trips of all. A great location immediately off major highways and centrally located to some nice restaurants and shops. The hotel itself had a very nice atmosphere and committed staff. I would definitely recommend this location to others and stay at this location at the very next opportunity. Marriott has yet to let me down and I don't believe they ever will. Good Job Marriott!

The grounds of the hotel were very nice, and the classrooms were very nice. Staff was friendly to event goers. I was here for food truck Fridays with live music. This all worked out better nicely.

My five-year-old and I attended the Disney Royal Princess ball at the hotel, and had a thoroughly lovely time. The event was well managed, but aside from that the staff at the hotel and the venue itself were very well-managed and very attractive. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We would definitely look to the hotel for similar events in the future.

I came here for a convention, actually been here a couple times. The rooms are clean, the staff is courteous, and although I'm not a fan of starbucks coffee, they have a few different kinds of starbucks coffee on hand at all times. You serve yourself in front of the lobby. The view is not much but neither is from any of the hotels around. The airport is close but not sure if they have a shuttle. Regardless, it's a nice hotel with a comfortable bed and courteous staff.

Hotel overall is nice. My co-workers and I definitely enjoyed the bar. Good drinks and options. The room was a little dated but otherwise clean. The gym is above average with options and machines/weights available. I took off one star for dated appearance and cost of breakfast. Way over-priced compared to literally every other hotel I have stayed in. That all said, I would be happy to stay here again next time I roll thru Buffalo.

We enjoyed our stay with this Marriott. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. All our van rides were on time. They even offer snacks and water at the front desk, nice touch especially for the kiddos. It was only a 25 min drive to falls from this location.

It was ok. You walk in and the lobby is clean and well lit with a dining area off on your left and the check in on the right. The staff were quite pleasant but that's where the greatness ended. I walked past all pool and conference rooms to the elevators at the other end of the hotel. I didn't know until later how obnoxious is would be to pass the conference rooms or Wade through crowds of people to get to the pool. The room was nice with a good selection of channels. There is a nice section that makes it look like you can plug in a laptop of Xbox but it didn't work for me. Also tons of literature everywhere about how they want you to rate them 9 or 10 and to contact them to fix anything so you don't give a bad review. I had a few issues and call me old fashioned but I miss the days when things just went right and you didn't have to complain to get a proper experience. I could go on but suffice it to say It was a solid 3 star experience. If you are hoping for better than 3 star don't go here.

Holy Hell, what a horrible start to an otherwise great weekend. Understaffed and very little communication concerning the readiness of reserved rooms. At one point there was over 60 plus people in the lobby waiting to get checked in. It took over 3 HOURS to get into our room from when we arrived. Only one employee had the courtesy to apologize for the situation and he wasn't even involved. Too many other options. Bye Felicia!

The room was very nice and very clean. The housekeeping staff was really great. However, the front desk staff was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. I have never interacted with a less hospitable hotel staff. They guaranteed an early check-in for 2 pm, and when we arrived at 2, they told us not only was the room unavailable, but refused to call us when it was. They yelled at several guests, and didn't attempt to hide scorn from their voices when special requests were made. One staff person yelled at one of our parents for bringing in food to eat and eating in an unmarked hallway. This person was so rude, that several kids cried, and my own child asked to change hotels. Several families had reserved rooms with double beds, only to arrive to find they had been given a a single king bed, these families had 4 or more people and were not given enough sleeping space. The hotel staff never apologized but instead told families it was just too bad and they could do nothing. They hotel was fully booked, so was busy, but the bookings were not a surprise, and the rudeness was uncalled for. I will never stay here again, and I encourage everyone else to find another place to stay. There are many lovely hotels in the area. This is not one.

Attended function for Kenmore/Tonawanda Chamber. Staff friendly and efficient. Snacks were excellent. Bartender handed me my glass by stem instead of rim. 10 points in my book. Looking forward to Food Truck Fridays starting in June. Awesome band line-up!

I ran an event recently and the food was good, especially the homemade chips. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Everything as expected. However, when setting up the event, I had to go over the logistics several times before I was confident they were all understood. It all worked out great in the end.

The facility was fantastic for the educational event I attended. It was centrally located and easy for my peers to find, the food was fantastic and the service was 2nd to none. We were very happy for the 2 days we were at the location! I hope to attend another event at the Marriott Niagara again soon!

Great hotel experience. I'd say one of the best I've ever been to. They helped with our bags before we could even grab a cart, took them to our room. Were knowledgeable about the whole city and what breweries to travel to. Couldn't have asked for a better experience especially during New Years when it was freezing cold. Cheers!

The room and service was exceptional. The only issue I had was checking in with my company. The hostess wanted my credit card even though I told her to use the company card. She eventually realized the company had already taken care of my stay.

We travel a lot. The facade of this facility is deceiving. Matte/beige/stucco (? ) squat rectangles… But inside is like a casinoe. Bright, beautiful, modern. Great food and craft beer selection in the bar/restaurant. Across the street from a fun pizza joint and sports bar. Right off the highway this was one of our favorite hotels on our last vacation. Thank you!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night even though there was a big buisness event going on and the hotel was packed. The rooms remained quiet. The air conditioning was modern and not a drop in window kind. The TV was newer and the images sharp. The pool was clean and nice as was the hot tub. The price of food and drinks in the hotel are astronomical though. Definitely way higher than you'd expect. We're not in NYC here or anything but 10 dollars for a house wine is definitely steep. Average breakfast meal 14. Your talking standard fare here too, not top shelf or exotic anything. Starbucks coffee that's sitting in carafes for who knows how long that you need to pour and make yourself is 4 bucks for a venti. Would have had higher marks but the cost is a real bummer.

I stay here every time I have business in Buffalo. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. It has a great bar and the food is decent. It's right next to Santora's which a great bar with awesome food. Highly recommend.

Message to the Mariott Amherst — Went to the "Carroll" wedding last night… first and foremost, Linda was the assigned bartender… she was amazingly good. Professional, efficient and worked her tail off… with a smile on her face the whole time. Please convey our gratitude for taking such good care of us. She's a great addition to your staff! Secondly, the food — like no other hotel I've been to for a function. It was dreamy… Italian… Asian… and a carving station. Every single person there mentioned how good the food was… the turkey melted in your mouth… the staff was amazing… keep doing what you're doing because you are right on with the whole package — amazing night!

I like this Marriott. I rate the usually based on — service, concierge lounge (service, food, coffee), size and quality of the hotel gym, and finally the room. The rooms are good in almost all Marriott's some better than others. Service is good, what you'd expect at most M hotels. The lounge was good too and the service was great. A few different snack options in the evening, including first a service of chicken then followed by pasta. Was nice to have options. Breakfast was the typical eggs, oatmeal, and bacon plus a couple extras — potatoes and sausage. Good coffee too, Starbucks I think. Great gym.

Very disappointed. Stayed in many hotels and this one wasn't up to par. No coffee maker in the room (even though that coffee is lousy anyway). No hair dryer. No benches outside under the trees. They have a Starbucks in the Lobby but no attendant. The only positive was the consierge lounge. Worth the extra few dollars for appetizers and drinks.

The room was crappy. Cabinet door was broken and the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. Had it on the coolest setting for 3 days n never once did the room get cold.

My recent stay at Buffalo Marriott Niagara has been enjoyable. The room was modern and included a full size couch. The water pressure in the shower was very strong. I did not give a 5 star review because the bed was too firm. This hotel is also conveniently located a minute off of the interstate. I would stay here again.

Typical modern Marriott but geared towards conferences. This one seemed particularly stingy. Limited coffee in the room. Everything is extra (coffee, morning breakfast, etc), so it's best if you are on an expense account. Elevators go directly to the conference rooms, not the front desk, so don't stay here unless its for a conference.

The location and service were great, and the room was neat and clean. It was a pleasant enough stay. The amenities were limited, the pool was small and the restaurant and in room dining options were few; however the food was good. The elevators smelled foul though and the hot tub was out of order. For the room rate it wasn't very good.

Room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi, although apparently available, did not provide access to the internet from our room on the 4th floor.

Very close to everything on niagara falls blvd. Also right next to the 290 so easy to go anywhere. The rooms were great and the staff was really friendly. I would recommend to stay there, and will stay there again myself.

The rooms are nice enough but there were some service issues I had. I have a restricted diet so sometimes when I travel I bring food. I was told there was no way to get a microwave in my room, something I've never been told at any other hotel. I had to take it to the restaurant to have them warm it and when I gave it to the server he didn't even take it right to the kitchen. They just seem to cut corners a little.

Hotel staff was courteous and helpful, as they are every year when I attend the buffalo comicon as a vendor. I would highly recommend this venue for your conference needs.

Nice hotel. I was there for a hockey tournament so they closed the club lounge. Otherwise the rooms were nice and the staff was pleasent.

Just Recently stayed here for a hockey tournament with 10-12 year old boys. The Hotel was not welcoming to the kids. One front desk staff member when confronted about the rudeness to the boys and parents… if even stated "they did not want the hockey tournament boys there" and the only reason they book the tournaments there is the Sales manager"! I'm sure only for the money as well! If they book these type of groups, they need to be accommodating to the type of people in the group. Very rude with no tolerance for young boys, do not know how to handle the boys and have a security staff that should be bouncers at nightclubs! No finesse in dealing with young rambunctious boys. Only reason for 2 stars is that the day staff and restaurant staff were very nice! Night staff very rude! This is a hotel good for business travelers.

Went there for Toyota training. Staff was accommodating as usual and the food was awesome.

Room was clean and neat. Sheets clean and bed comfortable. Like, top 5 most comfortable beds I've slept on. No complementary breakfast like other Marriotts I've stayed at, just a good (but expensive) buffet and table service at the restaurant near the lobby. Overall very nice.

Nice hotel. A little noisy in the hallways when hockey tournaments are also booked. We booked through Priceline name your price @75.00 / night. So thats probably why they accepted the deal. 4th time here. Great location for Black Friday shopping. Rooms always clean and well kept staff is friendly. Bar is a little pricy. Still gets Recommendation.

This is our 4th visit to Buffalo Marriott. The rooms are very clean, nice white bed sheets. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked our room from Priceline and I am glad Buffalo Marriott is participant. It's conveniently located close to shops and restaurants I visit. The only downside I see is everytime we have stayed there seems to be a lot of kids running around on the hallway and sometimes it makes it difficult to sleep. I wish the hotel would put all the families on one floor and couples on a different floor. Overeall my experience has been good.

Great service and amenities.

We only stayed the night, but service was good. We booked 2 rooms for 8 adults. Ros were spacious for us and we all felt comfortable.

Friendly staff, decent bed, and a clean facility. It is a little older feeling but still a great place to stay.

I checked in remotely and advised that I would be arriving at 10:15 PM. Unfortunately I got there after 11:00. We were assigned a room. When we got to the room it was occupied. We went back to the front desk. The desk person apologized and then upgraded us to a suite and promised us 2000 points. We we got to the suite there was only one bed. I had specifically requested 2 beds. I called down to the desk and was told there were no more rooms with 2 beds. I was told there was linen for the pullout sofa in the closet. There was none. I asked for linen to be sent up for the pullout sofa. It took forever for someone to arrive. I called down twice to inquire as to when the linen would arrive. On the first call I was told someone would be up shortly. On the second call I was told that: "The person coming up has other people to attend to as well. " I became extremely angry. I had seen 3 people by the front desk and had spoken to 2 different people on the phone. When I asked why one of the 3 people I saw behind or around the desk couldn't bring the linen up I was told: "We don't have access to housekeeping supplies. " I became even more upset. By the time the guy came with the linen and dressed the bed it was well after midnight. I was told I would receive an additional 2, 000 Marriott rewards points for my trouble. I do not know if my account was credited.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. If it was a 1 to 5 rating it would be in the minus scale for this place is a night mare. The beds were so loud every time you moved it would wake you up. We were told there was continental breakfast included with price of room and when we entered restaurant we were told by two different people the breakfast was free but then when finished eating we were given a bill and told our meal was not included in price of room for had the wrong package. We went to the front desk with this issue and all they would do is give us a 6 percent discount on a 70 dollar breakfast. When the room was booked we were told there was 2 queen beds but actually only had doubles and there was supposed to be microwave and refrigerator in room and when inquired about this was told a refrigerator and microwave was not permitted in any room. Also the television channels were a joke for could not watch anything except food channel and couple other junk channels and had more advertisement for hotel channels than anything. I would never recommend this chain of hotels to anyone I come in contact with.

Ok Hotel for Buffalo area but not as good as other Marriott hotels I've been in.

Prostitution is rampant. Hookers walk freely in the hallway and knock on doors selling their services. Security personnel encourage them for free favors. Staff is generally helpful but front desk staff is obnoxious and rude. Tried several times to post this review on TripAdvisor but every time they delete it. I wonder if Trip Advisor gets paid by the hotel management to keep good reviews and delete others. Carpet in the rooms is full of stains — seems it hasn't been vacuumed or shampooed in many years! The entrance at the back is filthy, disgusting and full of garbage.

Food, Meeting rooms were excellent. But the rooms were disgusting. Tried to contact general manager regarding the broken TV, stained bed sheets, and broken refrigerator and received no response. For $192 (with taxes) for 1 night. I could have stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights and had a continental breakfast and clean/functional room. Trust me. Look elsewhere.

We recently attended a fundraiser here that included dinner for what I would guess was about 500 people. I've been to countless banquet style dinners and based on experience, my expectations were very low. Who I want to give credit to here is the wait staff. Usually at these things, it's there is a sequence of events that you can count on. Your salad comes out, quickly followed by your entree. As soon as you have your entree they bring coffee. If you opt not to have coffee with your meal, you just know you will never see them again. Usually dishes are cleared as soon as you stop to breathe. And when the event is over you are pushed towards the door as chairs are stacked and floors are vacuumed. None of that happened here! The banquet wait staff here rivaled that of most 4 star restaurants. They were attentive on an individual level. When asked they brought the coffee back with our desert. They asked us more than once if we needed anything! I admit that we kind of took all of this for granted (I suppose because it's what you expect in the first place), until this one thing happend. There were eight or ten of us around our table after the event ended. People filtered out. But not our crew. For whatever reason the dynamic at our table was such that we all found ourselves immersed in these deep conversations. Apparently for some time. Something broke the spell and we all looked up to see that the entire room was empty except for us.

Buffalo Niagara Marriott is the best hotel all housekeeping service are very fast excellent. I would like to enjoy again.

Amazing At Buffalo Marriott Close To Walden Galleria And Olive Garden And More. Inside The Hotel The Lobby Is Nice And Has Computers! The Elevators Are Fast. It Was A VERY Good Hotel.
