Attempting to enjoy the nearby sights during the evening proved to be unnerving with extremely loud super-woofer BOOM, BOOM, BOOM noise from youth and intimidating types cruising around the Plaza. Some were cruising on super-charged thunderous motorcycles and spinning their wheels to create squealing sounds and tire smoke during jackrabbit starts at the light signals. I could not find any police in the area to complain of the horrendous noise and potential danger to pedestrians attempting to cross San Francisco Street. Locals I spoke to indicated it's always like this, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. My elderly mother was nearly struck by one of the cruisers on a mobile phone while speeding his vehicle through a red light. The Plaza is an attraction to tourists and families with children. Some cruisers broadcasted obscene, police/women violent rap/hip-hop lyrics. Where the heck are the police? Why does the local city government allow this dangerous behavior? For $320.00 a night at the Rosewood Inn Of the Anasazi, one would expect to some peace and quiet not to mention a feeling of safety while crossing intersections (San Francisco Street and Old Santa Fe Trail or San Francisco Street and Lincoln Ave) bordering the Plaza having a green light with lighted crossing icon. Additionally, the valets stationed outside the entrance of Rosewood Inn Of the Anasazi, a high-end hotel, should have nifty, clean-looking, professional-looking uniforms instead of the slovenly black attire they currently wear. Not a very good first impression of this hotel but I suppose an expectation of a corporate chain, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts.
