Such a great Inn that is perfectly located in Santa Fe. Outstanding service, very nice accommodations, and it's within walking distance of the Plaza and many of the city's incredible sites. Be sure to get here in time for the complementary afternoon wine and cheese, and enjoy the full, hot breakfast!

Delightful place with cozy rooms, delicious breakfast, wine and cheese hour, and great location! Walking distance to the old town square and Canyon Road arts district. Pleasant staff. We had a lovely time!

Lovely venue, though not 100% ADA compliant (my fiancé decided to skip trying to use the wheelchair). Wonderful, friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful room: (we had a “Deluxe King”) with a spacious bathroom. Renovated a year ago, our building had new carpeting, window treatments, and furnishings. If they offered “smart TVs” with access to streaming services, and generous electrical and/or charging outlets, I would give it 5-stars. I was told that these are in the planning sta…ges. This is their high season so expect to pay a premium rate. Come in the winter and it’s much less expensive. Their brochure touts their “lavish complimentary breakfast” but I’ll let you decide how lavish is defined! They have a wine & cheese reception each evening with a small selection of wines (2 glasses free) & reasonable bar prices for cocktails! My fiancé describes her Silver Margarita as both “good-looking and delicious! ” One quirky thing: the Wi-Fi (which is included and very fast) requires a check box and button press to access, in addition to a password. My 2 iPhones had no problem connecting, nor did our Mac Book Pro. My fiancé’s brand new Samsung Galaxy S9+ could not connect because that security page could not be found. We didn’t bother to report this. It also prevented us from using our Amazon Echo Dot that we travel with (“Rain Sounds”) to help mask outside noise. Small technical complaint that they might discuss with their provider.

Nice, quiet rooms, well maintained. However, during my visit the Wi-Fi did not work and the spa was broken and closed. Not real happy about that for the price paid, but all of the staff have been very cheerful and helpful. The free breakfast in the morning is great!

This place was spectacular. Helpful staff, awesome New Mexican style breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour in the afternoon. An owner who was present and engaged with his guests and clearly cared about the facilities. Perhaps best of all is they offer a dedicated shuttle service to anywhere within 3 mile radius of the Inn and they can also come pick you up. I can't recommend this place enough for a quaint stay in Santa Fe. Amazing stay.

Absolutely adorable. It is so convenient to the Plaza area. We loved the amazing breakfasts and wine reception. They even served sangria! These are such nice touches not found at chain hotels. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. The front desk assistance was amazing. We had dessert in the restaurant and it was fabulous. I had the blood orange sorbet and I would make the 8 hour drive just for another scoop. It is perfect for a weekend away.

Great hotel! Perfectly located in Santa-Fe. Very close to the city centre and the famous Canyon Road!

We've been staying here the past 15yrs. We like to stay in the casitas, very private with small private patios near the entrance and restuarant. The rooms are always clean, staff always friendly and food is good. There have been some changes to the breakfast selection, cheese and wine hour and dinner menu that are a bit disappointing, but still a great place to stay. Close to the plaza, free parking and a much more affordable places than most hotels in the area.

Quiet, tucked away hotel within 5-7 minutes walking distance to the plaza. Comfy, cozy beds and pillows. No elevator for luggage, but we didn't mind! Staff was always incredibly friendly as we walked in the lobby. Breakfast (free) hit the spot every morning. Complimentary wine and cheese happy hour was a big plus, too! We traveled with two young children and they liked the breakfast buffet and cheese/snacks during happy hour. Highly recommend this place!

Lots of "nice" with a few exceptions… nice and super roomy accommodations and very quiet area, nice location — — centrally located to center of town, nice breakfast and loved the gluten free baked goods, nice shuttle — used it to check out the folk art museum (available to guests within a 3 mile radius), nice pillows — bed was just ok, nice & large soaps, shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. Just a few cons: the pull-out bed's mattress was awful, was hoping they had a topper to put over mattress, so tall child had to opt for sleeping on love seat. The mini fridge compressor continually was awakening us throughout the night, as it turned on and off. Overall, a good place to stay!

Couldn't have been happier with our stay! Wonderful location; close to Plaza Park and St. Francis Cathedral. It feels like a boutique hotel perfectly suited to Santa Fe. Charming layout. Our room was delightful. We ate several meals there and everything was prepared perfectly. And, most of all, the staff was engaging, professional, helpful and genuinely friendly. We are thrilled that we chose to stay there and would love to return.

Nice little hotel for the price. It is a short walk to the Plaza so you don't have to drive there which is nice because parking near the plaza is difficult or expensive. There is plenty of parking and the hotel has a New Mexican theme.

What a charming place! Inn on the Alameda is ideally situated between the Plaza district downtown and the Canyon Road strip. The property is cozily and tastefully decorated, with unique accents and art everywhere. My room was very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and wine and cheese happy hour were tremendous added value, as was the complimentary shuttle service — a lifesaver for the car-free traveler. The staff were delightful and helpful in every interaction I had with them. I didn’t get to stay at La Fonda, but on the basis of my experience, Inn on the Alameda will have my business in the future.

Charming, conveniently located place to stay when you going Santa Fe. The concierge patiently attended to all our requests. There's a delicious "breakfast of enchantment" included. By enchantment I think they mean green chile available with all the Continental breakfast items haha. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is complements wine and cheese happy hour. Nothing fancy but they are kind generous and welcoming. The common area has a fireplace that's lovely to sit by as you chat and read. It's a half mile drive or walk into town. Highly recommended place to stay at!

Nice quiet location. 4 blocks to plaza and shopping. Hotel offers free shuttle service within 3 miles of hotel. Best bathrobes ever. Friendly staff. Variety of both American and New Mexico choices offered at free breakfast buffet. Rooms as described on website.

Every night there was a free wine tasting with live music qnd outdoor seating, The rooms were very nice, The hotel is located near the town 5/5 great time. Ps I recommend the sangria.

Really enjoyed our stay, location is perfect, walking distance to everything. This is were you stay to get the real feel of Santa Fe. The rooms are authentic very comfortable with patios or balconies. Breakfast and afternoon wine and Cheese are special added amenities that we really enjoyed. Next time we come back would probably choose a balcony room. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable with things to do in the area. Highly recommend.

Best place to stay in Santa Fe.

This hotel did not have room to accommodate my reservation, but insisted on keeping my money. The manager Christina was dishonest and said that a third party was responsible, when this was not the case. This experience ruined my impression of Santa Fe. I suggest booking with a hotel closer to El Centro.

Beautiful rooms, amazing service, helpful and courteous staff. I'm in the middle of a three night stay and I really don't think I could come up with one bad thing to say if I tried. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again when I'm in town next.

6/14/14: Had a lovely 6 course meal at the Agoyo Lounge. It really should be called a Cafe or Restaurant, not a Lounge. Lounge makes it sound like bar food. However, it was the most delicious food we have had in a long time! The avocado/shrimp roll was fabulous, as was the potato soufflé! And the cauliflower soup was the best! All of the food was superb! We will be back for more! Arlene and Jeff.

Lovely inn a few blocks from the Plaza area, easy walking distance. One block from the northern end of Canyon Road — easy access to the galleries. As a local, I chose the Inn on the Alameda out of all the hotels in Santa Fe to spend a "night out" for my son's birthday — — what a wonderful treat, i'm so pleased with my choice! For starters, there was a Happy Birthday balloon waiting in the room when we arrived. All weekend, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and celebratory. The room was comfortable, lovely, impeccable, and ridiculously well-priced. We met plenty of interesting and friendly travelers in front of the cozy fireplace at the wine and cheese reception. (The bartender, Charlie, was a gem! ) The spa looked so inviting we decided to brave a hot tub in the snow ~ I was glad to find it hot enough to keep us warm in the freezing weather. The steam was simply magical floating over the sparkling snow, and my newly-6-year-old enjoyed having it to himself to splash in! Breakfast was delicious, varied and hearty ~ we ate so much granola and frittata and other yummies that we couldn't even eat lunch! We'll have to make this a tradition — — thank you, Inn on the Alameda, for making my son's birthday so special.

There is no alternative to this cozy hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the breakfast and wine bar are nice inclusions and there are no hidden fees for anything. It's a good location from which to explore the city, but at the same time, it is peaceful and relaxing. All in all, a great stay in a great town.
