So far it's a very nice hotel room.

This is the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed at. Unfortunately it's a Hampton. They charge an extortionist rate due to a high volume of business travelers. They typically charge $200-250 a night. Hamptons in major Metro's usually run in the $120's-$140. This would be forgivable but the general condition of the rooms isn't great. The carpet in my room looked faded and dirty, the elevator had trash in it, and the walls of my room were dirty. The shower head leaked and sprayed the ceiling, and the door was missing a bunch of enamel. The air conditioning in the room didn't really perform well either. The rooms are on the small side as well. Last but not least the breakfast is consistently bad. As a business traveler, this is often the only half way decent meal I have until dinner. If you book a few days in advance you can stay at the Hilton garden inn down the road at pretty much the same price. For the price they charge, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Located less than 5 minutes from beautiful Rockwood golf course. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. Full hot breakfast in the morning. Staff member, Marie, was so friendly and helpful during breakfast. She made our stay so much more enjoyable! We'll be back soon.

The hotel is elegant and very nice, the downside is that if you are not exclusive member your club you can't enjoy the Internet, and the quality of the signal on the phones is bad.

Part of the Hilton chain. Clean, well maintained. Stayed here several times. Recommend this as a dependable hotel.

We absolutely love staying at this Hampton inn, we come to Hobbs about six times a year and we always stay here because the rooms are clean, but mostly because the breakfast ladies are so sweet and beautiful! Thank you girls for always feeding us well!

Clean and quiet. But the pool was drained for maintenance. We specifically asked whether the pool would be working when we booked and were told yes. Otherwise 5 stars.

Inexpensive but doesn't look nor feel like it. Extremely friendly staff, clean and stocked rooms, amazing a/c and free Wi-Fi and Ethernet. A bargain for any travels.

I met a co worker for a few minutes in the lobby. It was superbly clean and the breakfast area looked like an inviting, neat place. Might have to make a move.

FANTASTIC hotel! I work a lot on the road and stay at many hotels, but this was by far the best experience I have ever had with a hotel. It is clean and very nice and the staff is incredibly friendly, yet professional. The manager is a super lady who always goes out of her way to make sure her guests are taken care of, and I really appreciate that. Her staff has the same mentality, too, and they are friendly, courteous and really go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of on the road. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the area, it is a GREAT experience!

Everything about my Hampton stay was fantastic. The service, great! The rooms, great! The beds, great and comfy! I guess my only complaint is they gave me too many pillows!

Stay here every year when I visit Hobbs. Staff is great, facilities are nice, and location is easy to get to and near the casinos.

I stayed at this location for work 10/19/15 through 10/23/15, everything went well until the morning I was scheduled to check out. I received a call on my room phone (approx. 6:45ish am), from someone at the front desk apologizing for a system error that occurred overnight and caused the need for me to verify my cc number. This guy, who gave the name Christopher Alexander, claimed he was on the staff. He knew my name, check in and check out date, who my travel agent was, and the type of credit card I used. Unfortunately I fell for it and gave him my cc number, but reversed the numbers of the security code. I immediately had a bad feeling and rushed to pack up and head to the front desk. I get to the front desk and the 2 ladies have no idea what system error occurred because there had NOT BEEN one. I immediately called my cc company to cancel my cc; and guess what, someone tried to charge $1, 000.00 to Lowe's online 10 minutes prior to my call, but it was DENIED! I then called and opened a file with the Hilton Corporate Office because the GM was not in at the time. My Company uses this hotel frequently, but not anymore. Today is 11/10/15 and I have yet to receive a call from the hotel GM; but they reported to Hilton Corp. And to my travel rep they have communicated with me via email… LIES! Based on the information 'Christopher Alexander' had I believe this was an inside job that is obviously not important enough for the GM to be truthful about and work to resolve.

Called up there 2 times and answered n never talked to me said hello and they were just off having there own conversation laughing away hung up called again n they started ignoring my calls. Need better costomer service and better front desk help.

Have stayed here many, many times in past few months. Expensive for what you get, but only Hilton family in Hobbs so I'm stuck. (Altho' if I ever have to return, I'm going to the Fairfield, the heck with HH points, just not worth it. ) Rooms are adequate, nothing special. There are frequent issues with the a/c as another poster mentioned, but they have always been resolved for me (but frustrating that it continues to happen). Their "hot" breakfast is usually lukewarm and not very good, but kitchen staff is always friendly and try to please. Hotel staff can vary — college-age kids are usually very pleasant and helpful, older women on staff act like they're doing you a favor to check you in. Pool has been closed for "renovation" for over 2 months. Ice machine on 2nd floor is always out of order.

Have stayed here for a couple months for work. I have been in 3 different rooms. Every room the air conditioner does not work. I burn up and sweat in my room. They control the air on the first floor for all the rooms to keep their guests from controlling the temp to save money. I had to change hotels because the rooms get so hot in them. I told them 4 different times that my air would not come on and every time they said they would send somebody up to fix it. That someone never came. Would not stay here. Not worth it. You can get better customer service for a better price elsewhere.

This was way too expensive for what it is. I guess they have a lack of competition in the area.

Good hotel if you can get a good price. I will stay here again if I am in Hobbs, NM again.
