I stayed for one week in this hotel. I was very pleased with the staff, and although the hotel is older, it is family owned, and it’s very charming. My room was very clean and recently painted. If you are looking for a high end accommodations, expensively furnished, diva satisfactory hotel, this is not where you should stay. But anytime I visit Hobbs, I will stay in THIS hotel before any of the others that I visited because it’s nice, quiet, clean, air-conditioners work wonderful, lots of hot water, coffee maker in the room, microwave and refrigerator. Whitest sheets I’ve ever seen, NO BUGS AT ALL ANYWHERE. Also, a city park with a lake and ducks/picnic area almost next door. Walmart, Starbucks, Walgreens, and restaurants a plenty, all less than 2 miles away. I hit some great local places, The Iron Skillet, Tia Juana’s Mexican food, Pacific Rim Sushi. This little town has more than I anticipated! Downside is they do not have an elevator, so if you stay on the second floor you must carry your luggage upstairs. However, I looked at other hotels in the area that were in my price range, and this by far superseded the other hotels. Once the pool and Jacuzzi are finished they will be very nice. They have vending machines, soda machines, and ice machines on each floor, and a continental breakfast in the lobby along with a microwave and other amenities if you bring your own food.

I stayed for 2 nights. It was perfect for what I needed. The staff was great and very helpful. The a/c worked great and the bed was so comfortable. Also the towels and and wash rags were soft and plush. I will definitely stay here again.

Checked in at midnight. A soon as we got into the room I took my shoes off to go to bed the floor was wet! Got up to take a shower and start my day but the shower was dirty as heck. And there was 2 huge stains on the floor and I told the lady at the desk and said that they was not there when she checked before I got the room… The fridge was leaking water so that's why the floor was stained there's no telling how long it's been there asked for manager and there not here. I had to sleep in a room with mold and they won't do any thing about it… I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

A nightmare of a hotel. Note first that when we arrived the side doors do not lock or require a key at all hours. What few lamps the room had half of the cords were cut with exposed wire. Plugs that don’t even work. There is holes in the mattress so deep you could literally put a a tennis ball in it. Don’t bother with the gym every machine is out of order because there’s no cords to plug them in. Toilet paper wasn’t even stocked in the room. You practically have to beg the staff to be helpful. Would not recommend.

Room was spacious and contained a fridge and microwave which was nice to have. The Wi-Fi was only working about a quarter of the time. The pillows were just awful. One light fixture was extremely loose on the wall. Overall it was ok but would not recommend the hotel. Sorry but just wouldn't.

Affordable but clean and decent. I travel to Hobbs for work regularly. There is also a nice running path across the street. I'll run 5 miles in the morning before I go to work. Don't eat the continental breakfast if you plan to run though, as it'll give you the squirts. I had to make a pit stop in the tall grass beside the running path at about mile 3 because the continental breakfast didn't sit so well. Then I got a rash on my bum from something growing in the grass. It was NO fun! But the hotel is comfortable and reasonably priced.

Older hotel but clean and not too overly priced like everything else in Hobbs. Could use to TLC paint on fixtures and looks like my kids did it.

Hotel somewhat decent! Some plugs didnt work had to leave blood sample to get more towels (lol) clean but very old and dingy if that make sense… staff lied about deposit kept giving me the run around. I was told within thirty minutes money would be released. Never heard of that so 2 days later I checked nothing called them they told me I was lying … after back and forward finally they told me wait 5 days … REALLY! have no other choice to wait but I wouldn't recommend staying there for a buck!

This place need a lot of remodeling. Furniture need to be replaced, sinks replaced, out side doors locks should be fixed. The building is not secured because the locks and in need of repair. The breakfast offered is mediocre. I was very disappointed with my stay at this establishment.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They have black mold in the bathroom, mold in the a. C. Trash all over the walls. Would recommend staying somewhere else especially for the price.

If I could leave no stars, I would. This hotel is the epitomy of disgusting. Black mold in the bathrooms, poo stains and dried boogers on the wall, carpet peeling up from the floor, stains on the sheets, exposed wiring hanging from lights, refrigerator smells of mildew, etc… when the staff was asked about the mold, they said they would fix it tomorrow. When asked how they would fix it, the informed us it would be painted over. I have stayed in some pretty rough places working in the oilfield, but this is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Several of the guys opted to sleep in our trucks. Will be calling the health dept monday.

Hotel was noisy n no one would do anything when I asked for my money back cuz of all the problems also it says one price n when u check in they have all these extra fees Don't stay there go to the other hotel 8 blocks away at the casino.

Nice little hotel, I guess it was the owner, he was very friendly and most of the people we saw. We had a small event, the only thing is that the conference room was not set up and we had to do it, all chairs and tables where there but I guess they don't do this, other than that, everything was ok.

Very disappointed with the breakfast. Cereal, beagles, bananas but nothing like eggs bacon sausage. Chips and scars all over the furniture. Stingy with there towles. Soap holder in bathtub /shower positioned at face level so you bang your head on. Will never be back. We visit every year to visit our grandchildren. Never had any complaints at any of the other hotels we've stayed with.

There nice rooms I enjoyed my stay there so far … I sleep comfortable and room is clean so I satisfied.

It was clean enough but they were very stingy with getting more clean towels and sheets for the pull out couch. We had an extra person. 3 total.

We had just bought an rv and the hot water wasn't working. We went just to shower. The lady at the front desk was insensitive and ignorant to the situation. Glad I didn't stay. Hotel looked alright.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, fast Wi-Fi service.

They are so clean and sweet people. Very relaxing environment! Everytime I visit Hobbs that's the place I will be. I am a loyal customer… Love it there.

My family has always come here. Good friendly people who talk to you. They have been good to us. The pool is deep enough for my tall father, the pool may be cool, but the hot tub warms you up. I enjoy it due to it is quiet and no one bothers. My family goes to it again and again.

Room was good. Free daily housekeeping compared to other adjacent hotels where you have to pay $25. Beds are comfortable an water pressure was good in shower. Didn't have any issues with management.

Our experience ducked they told us no visitors the hot tub was cold the first room wasn't cleaned the second room nothing worked told them and nothing got fixed and I will be trying to contact the higher up person.

Fairly nice for price only shower would male annoying sound when adjusting temperature. Bed was comfortable except pillows were not. Spacious for multiple people I would recommend for sporting teams attending tournaments.

TERRIBLE… had to change rooms immediately due to smoking by previous customer and lack of maid service taking care of the problem… I am still waiting for my wake up call… I went for breakfast… nothing… the desk person said his boss told him since there were not enough people staying not to put anything out… rooms need work… I will never stay there again… too many better places to stay up and down the highway…

Clean rooms at good price. Could use a little touch up and bad wasn't too comfortable.

Breakfast left something to be desired but the room was comfortable and spacious — room included a small fridge and microwave which was a rare and welcome addition.

Good hotel… but the pool was not available… I was very excited for the pool and they didnt even notify us before we reserved it.

Absolutely terrible! They have 5 different Wi-Fi connections and none of them work and when you call down to ask the desk clerk she says “I don’t know what to tell you…. ” Half the appliances in the room didn’t work. The refrigerator smelled like rotten fish BAD, and the AC didn’t work properly. Halfway through my stay I found out that the lock on my room door didn’t work. I asked if they had another room they could switch me too, they were full. Then I asked if they could refund the day and was told they couldn’t because the room was already used. The manager suggested that every time I leave the room to pack up all my valuables and take them down stairs to leave with the desk clerk who just looked so trust worthy. After about an hour of trying to convince the manager that the door look was neither my fault nor my problem he finally credited me back the day.

This is truly the best hotel I have stayed in when I am in Rochester, not only for its location just steps away from Mayo Clinic and Methodist Hospital but for the exceptionally clean and well appointed rooms I spent 2 1/2 weeks here in March and was back again for another week. The room was fantastic and included a microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and professional. They really went out of their way to be of service. I met the manager Matt who was just so kind and welcoming. He really runs an exceptional hotel. My mother was at Methodist Hospital and having the tunnel connect to the hospital and Mayo Clinic made the stay not only pleasant but so convenient. This really helped when it was cold and raining. Brentwood Inn and Suites was more than a hotel. It felt like a home to me which made the stay so enjoyable.

Desk clerk was rude didn't return our deposit because my food from you complimentary breakfast could not be eaten in the room. Ridiculous reason! I Am disabled and was sick that day besides that was not a good reason.

Quiet, half the price as holiday inn, a bit worn out but clean. The pool was like a hot tub, the best. Best value in Hobbs However I was double billed and only the threat of the sherif and a charge of theft by fraud forced them to straignten it out. Do not give these people your debit card.
