This is a just a basic hotel. The room didn't have a coffee pot, fridge or microwave. Rooms were adequate and clean. Front desk was very friendly. There was a problem with the air conditioner and the staff didn't hesitate to move us to another room. Places to eat just a few miles from the hotel. If you are just looking for a cheap comfortable place to sleep, I would recommend this hotel.

Our stay was the result of a quick spur-of-the-moment trip. It was a relief to be able to book a room on such short notice. The room was clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We hope to be able to stay here again if and when we find ourselves back in Bernalillo. I recommend giving Motel 6 Bernalillo a try.

It was actually not bad for a cheap hotel. The beds were very firm, We had enough hot water, although the pressure was a little low. Everything was clean. The controls on the air conditioner were broken, but I was still able to get it to work. They did take away the towels everyday, despite the fact that I hung them on the rack to dry, indicating that I would reuse them. In the middle of a water shortage, that seems unwise.

Lobby was very hot! No furniture to sit on. The young lady on duty was very nice. Looked like they were getting ready to close the motel down. Going out of business. Checked in to room. Very hot! Took forever to cool down. I tried to call the front desk, phone in room not working. Used my cell phone and it took over 4 mins. To answer and was put on hold. Gave up. Went down to lobby no ice or vending on 3rd floor. Vending selection was not the best. Why weren't there vending machines on the 3rd floor? Not happy with the stay. Not happy with the auto coffee machine. Horrible coffee.

The rooms are roomy but the facility is overall quite poorly maintained. As others have mentioned, the coffee is a joke. But the key problem I had was the cacophony of slammed doors all night — it was a Saturday. I didn't bother to complain but when I asked the night clerk about it in the morning, he actually became quite aggressive and threatening. I'm a senior and don't expect that sort of behavior. I've never had a more bizarre lodging experience. Lesson learned: read the reviews first.

We stayed here three nights in a row. First night water from the sink ran a red colour. Then the toilet water also ran red, at first I thought my body was telling me something, until I flushed. The water returning and flushing through the toilet tank was a red colour. I’d advise against the water, but taking your own bottled water when you stay. All in all the area is quiet, it’s clean, light traffic. If you’re a fast food eater, there’s a Burger King just south of the Motel 6 property. Two of the three days I booked the room, the management had no problem having someone else check in-with prior arrangement from me, thank goodness because if I wasn’t there to check in-I’d have been out plus $70 twice. I had to book rooms individual nights because I didn’t know if I’d be released from the hospital. It’s now 7 days and I’m still in the hospital. So, yeah, stay here. It’s quiet. It’s only 15 from Albuquerque. They’re two casinos nearby. Lots of places to eat. Santa Fe is about a forty minute to an hour drive north. This motel is a great epicenter to your Albuquerque adventures, or an overnight layover (it’s too far from the airport). -Lo-

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hallway where our room was reeked of cigarette smoke. When we arrived in our room, it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned, as there were spots of dried urine in the toilet seat. There were thick black hairs in the bathtub, there was no shower curtain, and there were no towels, soap, or shampoo. The rest of the room looked relatively clean. Overall, I would avoid staying at this motel in the future.

Everything was good, except the room was unusually hot. I opened the window to find that there are not screens on the windows. Not a problem since we were on the second floor, but might be for 1st floor guests.

Outlet in bathroom was broken so we only had one outlet. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Cracked loose bathroom tiles. Black long hairs in bed I have red hair. We felt safe and stayed 3 nights love the location. Just hoping my credit card gets refunded for the $50.00 hold on the room.

Actually one of the nicer motel 6 facilities I have seen. Above average service adds to the location. 4 Stars is as far a I go for motel 6

This is definitely one of the nicer Motel 6s I've been to. The room had a little sofa/living area and am kitchenette. The room was clean (not spotless), and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Certainly an excellent value for the price.

Stayed here several different time's… To pricey for the accommodations… Coffee nasty… Some of the staff rude! 3rd floor is called party floor due to all the drug's an noise. Checked in 1 night around 11:00pm went to room son was so tired an myself put him in bed… Went to bathroom an toilet was nasty. Went down to front desk an reported it an all they would offer is a plunger. Unclogged toilet returned plunger. Left early that morning! So if you stay here don't expect much from this place…

I've stayed there a few times. The first time they messed up my reservations and my sister-in-law had to sleep on the window seal because the man wouldn't not bend or do anything to help us. We were going to go a head and pay the difference for the other bed we were supposed to have in the first place but the man wouldn't allow us to being that we used the restroom. So we asked them to bring blankets and a pillow which was never brought to us We had to go down and get them ourselves. The second time another man was working and he was more than helpful excellent customer service this man had integrity and respect. The last time I stayed once again the man from my 1st stay was there and once again the worst customer service I have ever had in my 38 years. I have never felt so disrespected or belittled by someone in my entire life. Everything is a chore for him he lacks self respect, integrity, respect towards others, and empathy. I really hope after reading this that people spend the extra $10 to stay across the street at the Super 8 or the gas to go a little further down to the other Motel 6.

Pet friendly basic motel chain that keep the public interest and keeps improving and still get rooms for 35to55 anight I travel from Town to town and if there is a m6 I'm there. Thaks 4 leaving the light on **""

Over all the room was very clean,, it was very modern and the wood floors gave it a cleaner feel then carpet. The staff was very polite and friendly, up until a misunderstanding where they believed a loud and disruptive argument was coming from our room when it was actually the next room over. The local police were called and treated my Girlfriend like a criminal until they realized they had the wrong room. Even then they never apologized and then told her to watch it or they would be back?! Their actions of course had nothing to do with Motel 6. I do feel it was up to the front Desk staff to investigate and get the right information on whom may be disruptive to the Motel 6 & other Guests before contacting the authorities. Then make sure the correct room number and information are given to so there will be no false accusations against guests who are not the problem. I was out getting food and drink for my girl and I when this all occurred. She even tried to call me when the police entered but was told to put down her phone and basically treated guilty until they realized she was alone in the room after searching it. Then they wanted to search her belongings which she did not consent, acting on her Rights against improper search and seizure tactics used so often. There was no apology afterwards by either the police nor Motel 6 staff. Thus I was pleased to see your email since I was planning on contacting the Corporate Office regarding this event.

I apologize for breaking your rules and had 5 people (2 children) and 3 dogs (2 over 50 lbs) in one room. Do to unforeseen circumstances the dog watcher could not watch my dogs and they had to travel with us. I always in the past have stayed at Motel 6 because my dogs are welcome to stay with us. The young man who checked us in was very kind, professional and helpful. I was up front with him and did not hide the fact these facts. He never mentioned that it was a problem or I would have taken care of it right then, taking the kids and a dog back to their mother's apt. I would like to mention however, that he was not properly trained on the debit card machine and it did not function properly, as the chip reader would not work. I paid cash for that night, which was fine. I was NOT going to leave my debit card with a stranger though. I then went down later to see if the desk had and emergency supplies as one of my grand daughters needed some pads. The night clerk said no (different guy). I then said I'll just walk next door. I went next door and they were closed. He never said a thing about them being closed, just let me walk over there in the dark, alone after midnight. The next morning I went down to take care of the rest of my stay. The manager was quite rude telling me that I was not allowed to have three dogs in the room and that she could not rent to me. I advised her that if three dogs were a problem I would leave one with my grandkids mother.

Visited a suite. Very roomy! Disappointed in TV size.

The beds were comfortable. The shower curtain was dirty. And there was still hair in the shower from previous stayers. Room walls are way to thin and the room next to us was literally having a party with us as well. Had to call the front desk several times to get them to be quiet. Slept 4 hours and left. Not that great of sleep.

This location is perfect for attending the Balloon Fiesta. An added bonus is finding a Santa Fe Rail Runner train depot right across the highway. Be advised that all rooms do not have refrigerators and/or microwave ovens, so if you need those items, let the staff know when you book your reservation. Nothing fancy here — just the basics, but I like that. I'd rather spend my money on seeing the many beautiful sights and on gifts for my friends. Coffee and tea only in the lobby in the mornings and friendly, understanding staff. Will go back next year.

Cheap linens and no blankets. Small towels. Big unpainted area on 1 wall. TV had the worst sound I've ever heard on any electronics. Disappointing. Room was not made up and we were gone most of the day.

Location to the event we were going to in town was great. Checking in took about a half hour and that was frustrating because we were trying to get to our event. Hotel was expensive for the one night for the quality of the room. Air conditioning unit knob did not work so could not adjust.

Convenient and easy to find. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Very pleased with this Motel 6. Check-in person, Mukt, I was friendly and efficient.

First I had two rooms here is the list of issues I had in both of them 1. Bathroom floor tiles were cracked so bad you had to put a towel so you could walk on the floor 2. Towels that were provided were stained badly enough I would not use them. 3. AC could not be adjusted properly 4. Rooms and hallways smelled of weird cooking spices. 5. Night staff could not understand basic requests. — very poor english 6. Hair dryer did not work and could not get staff to understand to get a replacement 7. Beds were not made and or cleaned each day in one room 8. Had to have room keys reset each day in order to get into room.

It's better the the motel in Albuquerque friendly staff. There are some things that need fixing. But it was nice and would recommend the stay. The are mostly quite and calm.

Check in had a small hic-up, the computer wouldn't accept any of my credit cards, so I paid cash. No problem really. Staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean and quite. Location was a little confusing at first but not bad. Only negative I can think of was the shower was weak and the coffee maker was out of order but Burger King was just steps away. All things considered, another enjoyable Motel 6 stay.

I stayed in room 314 and the sink would not drain. Disgusting. I went to front desk in the morning first thing. The man at the desk said he would get maintenance to look at it. I came back in evening and sink was still clogged. At ~ 8:20pm a maintenance man did come when I had to complain again. He unclogged the drain of the sink. you are bare bones which is fine but a disgusting non draining sink is not acceptable and creates a health hazard. get on the top of your game!

Not the best. I travel through my work and we checked in and our confirmation price was different, we paid a higher rate. Got my room and room was not prepared for guests Bed undone, trash can not empty. I was given another room, the shower Pressure was very low, buttons to AC Were broken, my co-worker's AC Did NOT WORK. Front desk person said there was not much she could do! Coffee is OK! … needs better Managing cause building and room Appearances are good.

1) When we came, their POS machine did not work. She could not process our payment. We had to go to Wells Fargo to get some cash. 2) The first room they assigned the AC was not working and the toilet was not flushed. Literally there was urine and lots of toilet papers. 3) The next room they assigned also did not have AC controller. I had to take out control unit and tweak the some buttons under it. Only thing I liked. Beds are comfortable and there is a mirror on the whole wall.

Clean but very noise and in bad need of remodeling.

For a spot sandwiched between the interstate and the frontage road, Motel 6 is surprisingly hard to find without a GPS or calling for directions. The sign is totally faded and easy to miss. No shampoo, no lotion, no iron — not just in the room but no irons available in the whole motel! No breakfast. The room is fine but outdated, poorly arranged hard to see TV from couch or bed, and features not so mysterious splotchy stains on the carpet and furniture. They left the masking tape on the bathroom from the last ceiling paint job. Don't stay here.

I love this motel! It's a great place to stay. The customer service is great. I recommend this motel and give it 5 stars!

Had the best time ever! I took this skank there to cheat on and break my seemingly unknowing gf's heart…! AGAIN! I got a rash that won't go away but still… BEST TIME EVER! SIGNED filthy low life loser!

This was a very bad experience, we woke up to find bed bugs on my pillow, and on the beds. And there is blood stains on the bed, this is a very unhealthy place to sleep. I do not recommend it.

Paid $36 / night, which was great, HOWEVER, the hallways looked terrible, the carpet was dirty and torn everywhere. The key cards reset or were erased EVERY NIGHT! It was like the clerks were unable to program the cards for multiple nights. This became very inconvenient. When we complained, the excuse was that the cards were very sensitive and would even reset if they were next to credit cards. I have yet to have that happen at ANY other motel. The bedding had rips, tears, and cigarette burns. The beds were very uncomfortable and hard. There was no Wi-Fi, but the clerk said ComCast was working on it. No ice machine on the 3rd floor, and the workout room was closed during my entire 3 day stay, no reason given. The staff was very friendly. The TV and all channels worked great.

Clean establishment. Friendly night attendant. Microwave in room. No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom. Bathtubs are shaped strangely, and thus difficult to lever out of from a seated position. We were told the computer in the lobby did not work. The important things are right with this hotel, but would not be my first choice in the future.

The Manager, not realizing I was a guest was extremely rude. I was cleaning the trash out of my van and disposing the garbage in the dumpster. She came up to me yelling that she was going to call the police and have me arrested for using the dumpster. But wait there is more, I wasn't sure how long I was going to stay at the hotel so I was paying for the room that my family and I were staying in each morning. I believe I was paying around 50$ per day. On one of these mornings when I went to rent the room again I was charged almost 90$, nearly double what the room had cost the previous day. They had raised the price because of an event that was happening that weekend and did not take the time or energy to inform me that the cost was going to drastically increase. To sum it up the management and staff were rude and inconsiderate, it was not a pleasant stay.

It's clean n cheap, lady at front desk is awful, rude. Didn't stay cuz of her, went to days inn instead for only $20 more and was treated awesome and got a full breakfast.

Comfort, clean and value. Only disadvantage is the confusing route to motel. Staff was "blah" and a little hello, and thank you would go a long way. One advantage is the great previous microtel layout of the property. Too bad they don;t have the microtel mattress.

Shower head don't adjust so I had to shower against the wall. Phone isn't working. The lady at the front desk is super awful. Was getting some more hot water for tea and she snaps at me"I turned it off"! And my room smells like piss. Better places for cheaper just down the road. And the washer is a piece of crap. Other reviewers must like the trailer trash style.
