My first time attending a party here. The party was great and the service was top notch. The food was amazing and the presentation was exceptional! The pasta station was one of my favorite sections (Chef Joe) was so accommodating to me and my mothers request and so kind and polite. The next morning we opted to have breakfast since we heard so much great feedback and also had experienced attending an event there the day before. Well again we were impressed with the Great selections at breakfast and again encountered Chef Joe at the omelet station. His customer service was impeccable and customer service was beyond anything. We will def come back to the Molly Pitcher Inn and hope we see Chef Joe again! Thanks for a great meal and experience!

The restaurant is wonderful. A nice woman named Elaine took care of us during breakfast. The lobby is nice and the room was pleasant. I wasn't thrilled with the size of our quarters (a little small. No coffee machine) but it was last minute and all they had left was room 319, which I booked incognito under my maiden name. Dated, no view from there and an outdoor light shines through the window at night so we used the shade… I will book a better room there next time. I especially enjoyed the attentiveness of the wait staff. I have to thank Nelson for making dinner stress free. Still a very nice place. :) We stayed a Friday to Saturday. My only suggestion would be to space guests farther apart in the restaurant. I still loved the place.

Went for lunch! The chicken pot pie was delicious! Enjoyed a local beer; Kane Head High! It was 88 degrees. The breeze was perfect and the view is amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a fabulous lunch of Hummus and a Lobster Roll both of which were fabulous. Sangria was great too. And, you certainly can't beat the view. Wonderful service! Would definitely recommend eating here.

This is a great place for a quiet weekend getaway. Charming hotel in a great small town, with a great restaurant and excellent bar. Service was great and prices were on par with others in the same area.

It was my first time staying in Red Bank and luckily, picked this wonderful hotel! Everything from room, view, amenities, hotel bar… were all 5 stars! Superb hotel! I will be back!

Beautiful, serene, & gorgeous historic feel. Our room was perfect and we really loved the view of the river from our balcony deck. All of the staff were very helpful & more than willing to answer questions & direct us.

A great dining experience at there Sunday lunch buffet. VIP service, incredibly professional and personable staff. Great experience that’s not readily found in Monmouth County. MP sets the standard for presentation, menu, service, atmosphere. The principals, management and staff should be very proud of their team, hospitality and incredible effort shown. Everyone literally went out of their way to accommodate and be exceptionally kind to Jessica and myself. I give MP 5+ stars.

My mom gave me a bridal shower in one of the beautiful rooms overlooking the water. The view was gorgeous and the staff was truly amazing. They made sure I, the bride to be, was well taken care of and made sure my mom was happy with the service. They were willing to do anything for us. They paid special attention to our guest with dietary restrictions and were very accommodating. Good food, great service and a perfect experience!

Water pressure and regulating the temperature of the shower was difficult. The tub also drained so slowly that by the end of the shower you were up to your calves in water. This happened in 3 of the rooms our family stayed in. The food is very, very good. The service was either top-notch or average depending on who you interacted with. Our server in the bar area, Matt, was as good as it gets. Beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful views, lovely old world charm bedroom. I actually liked the hardwood floors in the bedroom instead of carpeting. Restuarant is good, been to many affairs there and food was always good. Great Sunday Brunch. Top notch.

Wow! Such an amazing view. It is one of the beautiful locations along Jersey Shore to get a party for different occasions such as birthday, anniversary, and even small size wedding. I went there for a party. The first thing you notice is the free parking! Overall, it is a clean place. Their food was ok and tasted good.

We came to stay here for my wife's class reunion in Red Bank. She has always wanted to stay at the Molly Pitcher Inn ever since she lived here 30 years ago. The Inn was booked full for the weekend and had a number of weddings each day we stayed. The wedding reception venue is held on the first floor of the wing we were staying in. Both Friday and Saturday night of our stay the reception started between 8 & 9 pm and would last til 11:30pm. It sounded like we were on top of a dance club until it shut down at 11:30pm. We have a 8 year old daughter who normally goes to sleep between 8-9pm. So to say the least that was nearly impossible with the bass shaking our room until almost midnight the two nights we stayed. I called the front desk and all they could do was apologize for the noise and say it would be over by 11:30pm. This was of little help to us and didn't give us a very relaxed stay when the whole room is shaking from the party below. I would have hated to be a guest on the 2nd floor. I couldn't even imagine how bad that would have been. It's a nice hotel and the rooms are very good but you can't enjoy it if your being shaken from your bed by the bass coming from the wedding reception on the first floor. I need a break from the bass!

Absolutely stunning. This is one of the most nice places to be. Amazing view with huge balcony. The restaurant is so good with excellent food. Hotel part has very classy elegant style rooms also with personal balcony or porch depending on your level. The whole scene of this place makes you feel perfect and fancy. Been coming here for several years and will continue to eat at the restaurant and sometimes stay the night when I'm looking to pamper myself. Love so much!

Really nice hotel. Good location, good food, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The pool was nice and had a great view. The room was a little underwhelming but nothing that would keep me from staying here again. Overall it was very clean and my stay was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the Molly Pitcher Inn.

Used to love this place… until we got scammed. Paid extra money to be by the pool. One cloud in the sky… and we get kicked out of the pool at 6:30pm. I have proof! Videos and pictures. The pool supposedly closes at 8:00pm which is still too early and we get kicked out 4th of July weekend at 6:30pm! No thunder, no lightning, no rain… SCAM! It is very difficult for my bf to get a day off from work. His only day of for the 4th and the hottest days this far were ruined. Then when I went to the pool to get my stuff one of the workers closed the gate in my face and put his whole body in front of me preventing me from getting my stuff I left by the pool. Very unprofessional. We asked to speak to a manager and they said there is none. To top it all off… there are these metal rods sticking our of our bed and I hit my leg on it! No more pitchers too! We used to buy pitchers by the pool for about $18, now it's $12 a small drink. Horrible! Never again! This place went to.

I am not sure that I would consider this a 5 star hotel? There was no coffee making facilities in the room and I needed to go to the airport at 4am. This meant that I needed to get the taxi to take me somewhere else for coffee. There was no room service at that time either. There was only 1 plug in the room which was at the end of the bed. Not a great position! Breakfast was not included which I also find strange as a business traveller. Only muffins and coffee were free. And coffee was available in the lobby from 6am. The hotel is in a nice place on the waterfront.

I couldn't ask for a more magical experience! We drove up from Florida and we checked in to our room 6/7/18 — 6/11/18 for our wedding weekend. The room which was one of the bridal suites was absolutely gorgeous! I would Honestley love to know where I can get the wallpaper that's in the room for decor in my own home. Everyone from the front desk, bartenders, wait staff, the lovely women who refreshed our room to the absolutely amazing Kelly L. The banquet manager who was the main reason we chose The Molly Pitcher as our venue with the cherry on top having the outstanding maitre d Christian! We literally had one of the best days of our life all thanks to everyone at The Molly Pitcher. Our family and friends who stayed at the Inn from Florida and nearby areas of Red Bank where extremely impressed and had a ball! Unfortunately my husbands mom had to go to the hospital the night after our wedding and even some of the staff reached out to us to check up on her which was so nice and appreciated! Great food, great drinks, great people and great accommodations just an overall spectacular experience! Love love love! Thank you so much for 5 star service & making it possible for nothing short of beautiful memories!

Excellent location with a great view. We had a function here for work and we were seated in a giant conference room. The event lasted about 7 hours. The staff was pleasant and quick to respond. My only complaint were the chairs. Most of the event we were seated and those chairs have minimal cushion. All of us were in pain by the end of the day! No amount of butt shuffling could help.

Went to Molly Pitcher Inn for brunch. It was excellent. There was so many choices. The seafood was fresh. Our view of the water was breathtaking. Loved that 1 free cocktail was included. I will definitely be going back.

We stayed here the evening before the New Jersey Marathon. They had a wedding booked and we were blasted with loud music all night. We tried to get a new room but they told us they were sold out. This hotel has the audacity to require guests to sign a no party waiver at check in but then has no regard for the guest’s decent nights rest. Be very careful when booking here. It seems that weddings are booked most weekends. It’s a lot of money to pay and be up all night listening to a crappy DJ. When we asked Ariel at the front desk to have the manager address our concerns she told us the manager would not be around before our checkout.

Fran the food and beverage manager is the biggest rudest b-tch. Had a wedding here over 50grand and a baby shower and they still treat their guests like dirt. Act like they are better then everyone. Great food great atmosphere horrible staff. Stuffy and rude.

I've only eaten here for lunch and the food is always delicious. Unfortunately they don't change their menu really and I would like to see a little more variety. The view is really pretty!

Great place, but very old and it starts to show when you look closer. Like the windows leak air badly, so get ready to have a really cold bathroom in winter and hot in summer. Overall it's a great place and location.

I went there w/ my mother at the very last moment, and they could not be more accommodating! My family had stayed there before and always liked it. We got a beautiful room that was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we also went to both the bar and restaurant with the same pleasant results. The food was excellent. I plan to have my wedding here, as I know I can count on the rooms, service, and quality.

The Asian braised Short ribs were delicious and the Apple crisp for dessert was fantastic. The service is always excellent. Such an amazing view. I recommend going right at sun set. To watch that over the water and enjoy a delicious meal with top level service is perfection.

Beautiful hotel on the river. Especially love the view from the restaurant. Excellent food and staff. My only issue is I couldn't get a simple cup of tea or coffee after 10 am, they put away the hot water and coffee service.

One star for the view. I was there expecting a wonderful breakfast since this is a famous inn that I have both stayed in as a guest and enjoyed weddings and other special events over the last 40 years. However in recent years it has changed hands, remained expensive, but quality has diminished. My breakfast was on a weekday before a business meeting so I cannot comment on their supposedly wonderful brunch, but my experiences with brunches are that they appeal to the masses looking for a buffet. I prefer a delicately prepared breakfast with gourmet choices-something you might find in a New England Inn with a history comparable to the Molly. Well the over medium eggs arrived with black along the whites from the grease of the grill and no maple pepper bacon here — just thin greasy and stringy. And would you believe they have the nerve to serve the pancakes with Aunt Jemima high fructose imitation syrup? No real maple syrup here even for an upcharge. This expensive breakfast is on par with any greasy spoon on the shore. Plenty of nice breakfast spots downtown-stay away from the Molly.

I attended the Sunday brunch at The Molly Pitcher as a party of eight with my family (a pre-holiday celebration for those who wouldn't otherwise be able to get together. ) The service was good and prompt and we were seated at a long dining table, in the past we have had a circular table and generally found that preferable as it made conversation easier. After drinks were delivered we went to the buffet, the eggs were cooked on site (and were delicious). The food was by and large good, and there was a fairly wide selection. I would have liked to see some more vegetable options that weren't coated in sauces of some sort, I think I recall them having roast potatoes in the past whereas this time they only had mashed which was a bit rough since I can't do dairy. I mostly had the meats, of which all were awesome except for the pork, which was a little dry. Brunch was over all delightful and there was no rushed feeling. It was a great environment to catch up.

Delicious brunch and wonderful atmosphere. If the brunch came with more than one mimosa (or bloody Mary), we'd definitely come more often. I was especially impressed with the dessert table at brunch — not something you'd expect. We had a wonderful time!

I attended a Bridal Shower that was hosted here and it was absolutely gorgeous. Staff is very courteous, view of the water is immaculate and restaurant catering for the even was very upscale, with yummy healthy options available too. I really enjoyed taking advantage of the complimentary valet parking too! Elegant, memorable experience.

I was here Saturday October 7, 2017 for a corporate event for my school. Due to an oversight by the owner of my school, scallops were the appetizer for the night. One of the teachers is extremely allergic to shellfish. The teacher could feel a reaction and asked the waiter if it was shrimp. He replied it was scallops. She said it was just as bad and informed him she is extremely allergic to shellfish. She informed him she'd step out of the room. The teacher stepped out during the appetizer portion and all would have been fine. Our waiter, Stanley, asked me and another teacher where that teacher was sitting. We explained that it didn't matter where she was sitting, the fact that it was even in the room would cause her to have a reaction and her throat would close up. Stanley then prepared her fruit using the same gloves, tray, etc. That the scallops were on. Another teacher jumped in to explain that the teacher cannot have it due to cross contamination. His response was, "it's that serious? " Really? You were just told that her throat would close up just from being in the room and you think she would be able to eat cross contaminated food? The food here is really good, but that absolutely killed the experience.

This is a fabulous place with scenic water views, incredible service and exquisite meals. I also enjoy that it is a little more formal with jackets required for gentlemen. Fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion.

We stayed at the Molly Pitcher Inn and enjoyed a lovely swim and evening out in Red Bank. Later the same day we checked out, I realized I'd accidentally left my garment bag with some nice silk blouses in the closet of our room. I immediately called, was transferred to House Keeping where my only option was to leave a message. I left a message with all the details they would need. I called back the next day, again was transferred to house-keeping. I was told that no garment bag had been found or placed in the 'Lost and Found' and that they couldn't look in the room at that time because guests were currently occupying it. This was within 24hrs of having left the Inn. I was told they would look in the room as soon as they got permission form the current guest and call me back. I was never called back. I continued to call twice a week for a month after. No call back. I finally insisted that someone other than housekeeping assist me. When they did (after being transferred around to a few different employees), the employee said she'd personally check on the situation and call me back. She did, and it appeared the garment bag was never turned in. So, the only logical answer to that was that someone took it — whether a guest or an employee — and while that stinks, what was really upsetting was that it took far too long to get this information.

Our go-to place to celebrate an event. We held our 40th anniversary here. Very good regular menu. A must experience buffet brunch, emphasis on high quality rather than quantity, plenty to enjoy, just not the thoughtless quantity over quality. We love this place!

It was Fri, 01Sep and we wanted to have a nice dinner. We selected the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ b/c the menu looked good. My husband was looking forward to ordering the Seafood Pot Pie. We like visiting & dining in Red Bank even though we live about 30 min away. I made a reservation through Open Table for 8:30pm. My husband was wearing Khaki dress shorts and a black shirt. The hostess said she could not seat us b/c on Fri, Sat, & Sun men must wear suit jackets. Really? This place was empty. Out of about 50 open tables, only 5 tables had people dining. Are you really going to turn away good paying customers just b/c my husband was not wearing a suite jacket? This is Red Bank, NJ. Seriously? The hostess said we could sit at the bar as they had a full menu, so we sat at the bar. This menu did not have the Seafood Pot Pie so we asked our waiter if we could order it and he said no. We were so turned off by this unfriendly, vainglorious establishment that we left. My husband and I have eaten at 5-star establishments all over the world and this place by far is an embarrassment to society.

Must be a new chef a/o August 2017. Simple menu is much improved. Excellent service. Entres are much better than previous joke. Always excellent River views. Outside river dining recommended. Waiting to see if food remains consistent. Plenty of on-site parking.

Beautiful Hotel, fairly nice accommodations given the upgrades they've been making over the past few years. Outstanding food! Relaxing pool area and impeccably maintained gardens. Been coming here yearly for 10yrs+ and have acquired an affection of The Molly, but our past 2 visits have been less than par. They've failed to follow through on reservation requests they guaranteed on both occasions. Very disappointing stay this time around due to lack of care, customer service and lack of commitment to follow through. Customer satisfaction is not a strong point.

My bridal shower was held in the tea room and it was lovely. The staff was very professional and courteous. We were provided a luggage cart to help bring gifts onto the room. At the end of the shower, there were no carts available to help bring the gifts out, so instead, a staff member assisted in bringing the gifts to the car, which we appreciated a lot. They were accommodating with a vegan dietary restriction, although it would have been nice to have soy or almond milk available for the tea, no big deal though. The tea was fine with out it. The food was DELICIOUS. I can't rave enough about the food! Excellent quality. Top notch flavor. Interesting combinations that meld together perfectly… They were even nice enough to accommodate my request to get a candle and stick in a cupcake, light it and present it to my sister so we could sing happy birthday to her! The decor is BEAUTIFUL. The view was amazing. We had a private door to access the patio as well. The only negative thing was no fault of the molly pitcher… another event was happening in an adjacent room. And they had their music completely blasting at one point. It was very intrusive of our ambiance but it eventually was lowered. I'm not sure if a staff member intervened or not. I wouldn't be surprised if they did because they were very attentive. Overall I highly recommend the molly pitcher in and I hope to come back it was very enjoyable.

I wasn't inside, I just was waiting for my dad to pick me up and the streets were very busy. They were kind enough to let me and my friends sit there while we waited for him. It's rather lovely inside and out and it's a great location because Red Bank is full of great stuff to do.

Attended a 70th birthday party. Beautiful location with gorgeous water view. Excellent food with very good service. Very disappointed the hotel does not accommodate families with small children though. There are no changing tables in any of the bathrooms. I asked several employees what I should do as my son's diaper was about to start leaking. No one knew. One suggested a bench in the downstairs bathroom. Once I got down there, there was no bench. Finally someone went back upstairs and got a key to one of the conference rooms where I was able to change my son on the floor.

The Molly Pitcher is a quaint hotel located on the river in Red Bank. It's situated in a great spot and has nice views. The hotel is very clean and always looks top notch. The bar and restaurant are very good and has a nostalgic feel to it. Looking out to the water there is a pool club, and a marina, and has a great view of the river and town. It's a short walk into town, where you can get good food and unique gifts.

Just got an inconvenience, igloo room which was to say the least, I go to reception and receive a complimentary upgrade to a superior room to apologize for the inconvenience. Correrto and polite staff. The village is worth a visit, very cute.

I attended an after party for a baptism and had a very good experience. Food was delicious, service was on point and the people were very nice. Location is wonderful, beautiful view of the Navesink river with plenty of parking.

I would give it zero if I could. My room was on the first floor it was like a basement almost. Really got the feeling that the place was haunted since it was such an old hotel. Went to get ice from the lobby and machine was so old and dirty had so much slime in it. For $140 a night I thought I would at least get a better experience. Bar was the only thing worth a damn here don't stay here there are much better options for the price.

I really enjoy going here for special occasions. Thanksgiving especially. The service is top rate and the food is delicious.

September 26, 2015 we had our son's wedding at the beautiful, majestic Molly Pitcher Inn. Working with Bill in organzing and planning the wedding was flawless. Bill and his staff were very accommodating throughout the process, making this planning enjoyable and worry free. The wedding day was perfect. Not only did the weather cooperate, but the ballroom was like a page from Cinderalla. Everything was in it's place and all the T's were crossed and the the I's were dotted. Our matre d', Paul, was very attentive to the bride and groom as well as to my husband and me. All the food from the cocktail hour to the Vienesse Table was delicous. The hotel accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The Molly Pitcher is a class venue. Thank you for the beautiful day and awesome memory.

My husband and I stopped in the lounge to get a quick bite to eat last Saturday night. The lady playing piano sounded so good that we ended up staying to listen for 2 hours. (also the food and service as always was great). Dining room or lounge, the view of the Navesink River is awesome!

Since moving away from Red Bank, and on a visit back to town, I thought I'd do what I'd always dreamed of and stay at the Molly Pitcher. I was pleased to learn that they had relatively inexpensive rates ($122/night during the week in March), and I was thrilled to spend two nights "vacationing" in my old 'hood. I arrived at the Molly Pitcher after a wedding in Philadelphia, on a Sunday afternoon, absolutely exhausted and in desperate need of a bed. I couldn't wait to crash for an afternoon nap — but when I arrived, I found that the Red Bank Wedding Walk had just begun. Fine, right? Doesn't affect me. Except the event was SO INCREDIBLY LOUD that I could literally feel the bass of the music and the announcer's voice throughout my body. I put on headphones but couldn't drown out the noise, so I drove my car to a park and napped IN MY CAR because I couldn't nap in the hotel bed I was paying for. (When I was the MPI's neighbor, I frequently called the police to make noise complaints about the insane volume of their events, so this shouldn't have surprised me — but it was 10x worse while IN the hotel. ) The shower had great temperature and water pressure, I loved the shampoo and the exfoliating soap, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with lots of pillows. Alas, a few hours into my stay, I realized the heat was broken.

The Molly Pitcher is a historic building important to Red Bank as well as the state of New Jersey. It would be beyond challenging to find another Inn that would be even a close comparison. If you go to the back of the building you will find a world class view of the Navesink River. A glorious view during anytime of the year. I have never stayed overnight in the Inn so I really can't comment on the accommodations. However if you want my opinion on the food, I would say awesome. The Sunday brunch is costly, but in my opinion worth the price. If you want scrambled eggs and pancakes, go to ihop. If you want to have a more luxurious meal with eggs Benedict, various seafood, etc. Molly Pitcher brunch is a good choice. The Navesink River is an estuary, approximately 8 mi long in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The Inn sits nestled at a perfect location to gaze down the river. Don't quote me on this, but I am fairly certain that Bon Jovi still lives on the Navesink (not on it in a boat, his property is on the river). If you stand at the Molly Pitcher and look down the river, his home would be mid-way down the river on the left.

Went to reserve a room the night of the "blizzard" coming. They were expensive and if we got a suite, it would have been a little less for two nights. They do not have senior rates and do not have a generator. I would not want to be stuck in an elevator or on a 4th floor and have to walk down and also experience not heat there. I could do same at home.

One of the best places to stay in Monmouth County.

I love the food here. It is on the more expensive side, but the quality is excellent. The crab cakes are delicious. The decor is nice and the view is amazing. The service is professional and friendly. My staff has been here multiple times for lunch and we all leave satisfied every time. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Attended a wedding at the Molly Pitcher for close friends. We had a great stay. The room was large, light and extremely comfortable. Definitely all should try that.

I spend a lot of time in the Red Bank and Monmouth County area. Having stayed in many hotels in the area over the last decade, this is my first choice. The staff is always helpful, courteous and involved. From the moment I pull in to the easy check out, the staff is always polite and efficient. The elegance of an old hotel with modern updates, impeccably clean rooms and the old-world charm of a historic building overlooking the Navesink River makes for either a romantic visit, or a personal get-a-way. It's convenience to the Downtown Shopping district, Main Street and wonderful restaurants all over Red Bank makes this place another hit for that ever important 'location-location-location'. This is a classic special occasion restaurant set on the navesink river. The food is very good and the atmosphere is lovely. Can be a bit stuffy sometimes so don't bring any small children.
