Beautiful historic Bed & breakfast, complete with squeaky floors & doors.

We stayed at the Snapdragon for two nights and were very pleased! The bed was heavenly soft and the quaintness of the house and friendliness of everyone made our stay above charming. We are returning in October into the same room we stayed in. We highly recommend this Inn.

Elegant pleasant, friendly and clean establishment. We had a great visit and enjoyed the spirit of Maxwell Perkins and many of the authors that he mentored.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Rooms were very clean and nice it felt like home away from home and the breakfast was amazing! Would recommend staying here!

Inn was gorgeous, staff was very nice. Check in was a little late in the afternoon but I was allowed in early. Rooms are very clean as well as bathroom. Plan on going back again soon!

Very friendly staff. Quaint and pretty house. Breakfast was more than adequate. Unlimited coffee at all times which is a plus. The rooms were spacious and well appointed.

Stayed here for a suprise weekend away in Vermont. The inn staff were so helpful in organising a lovely room and small gift for my husband. Room 2 was nice and spacious, loved the heated bathroom floor and huge bathtub. Breakfast was great, good choice of cereals and had make your own waffles.

This place was really cute and functional. Breakfast was good but that's about all I have to say that's positive. The town is uneventful and not much to do. You will have to drive about 20 mins out. We had a Travelzoo voucher that came with free maple syrup and 2 drink vouchers. We never received either and after we asked Tom, we were told that both things and coasters will be dropped off at our room. None of those items were ever dropped off. We were the youngest couple at this Inn and the only ones of color, not sure if that was a contributing factor of the differential treatment. We saw other people receive the items and it's a matter of principal and false advertising.

Super expensive. White River is pretty close and less than half the price to stay there. Out of town friends were beyond shocked at the cost.

An exceptional experience super inn keepers, delicious breakfast including homemade apple loaf with VT maple drizzle, beautiful spacious room with exceptional amenities! Only wish is that we could have stayed longer… will definitely return!

Better than any bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Beautiful grounds, excellent location, and the proprietor, Valerie was by far the friendliness person we met in Vermont. She treated us like family, and the rest of her staff did the same! They even went out of their way to put out gluten free items, even though they weren't asked to. The house is stunning, with great history — a must see! I can't say enough how amazing the Snapdragon is and how fantastic the people are. We hope to be back in Vermont someday and this will be our home away from home.

From before I even arrived the customer service was great by receiving prompt call back on some questions I had before arriving. The building is beautiful and the room just felt like I've arrived to my home. This was my first BnB and I don't think I could've chosen a better location. I will certainly be coming back.

I stayed here for 2 nights offseason. We had a wonderful time! The inne is peaceful, warm, and welcoming!

The Snapdragon Inn is wonderful. It is a quaint Vermont home with all of the firstclass ammenities of a luxury hotel. It has extremely welcoming staff yhat offered us frssh backed cookies and milk by the fire in the library. It is conveniently located near Quechee and Woodstock. Lots to see and do.

Great place with lots of history. The rooms were comfortable and decorated nicely, The house is updated but still holds the charm and feel of old days. The continental breakfast was a perfect mix of fruit, home made breads, maple spreads and more. We stayed in one of the king rooms with a comfy overstuffed high bed, heated bathroom tiles, large claw-foot tub and separate shower. There were spacious sitting areas in the room and in the common areas. I know I sound like a travel agent — — but this was my first B&B stay in Vermont and it was so nice, it will be hard to top.

My wife and I just returned from our anniversary weekend at the Snapdragon Inn. We had an amazing time. What a beautiful place! The inn is exceptional and the service is even better! I am not one to typically write a review but this place deserves it. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing get-away this is it. We will certainly be back.

This Inn was a surprise. It is filled with amazing Literary History from the original ownership. The new owners have decorated it simply and beautifully keeping the spirit of the great writers and literary figures who stayed there. The breakfast was really nice. The staff went out of their way to provide information and help. The area is interesting, peaceful and pretty. The most amazing thing of all was taking a dog sled ride through the package we signed up for. What fun! It was out of the ordinary.
