We have stayed twice just for a single night before we could get in our week rental. Clean rooms are nice, not great. Pool is decent and clean. Having Laura and Tony's breakfast place next door is the real thing that brings us back (Must try! )

The employees are sooooo nice. Like over the top nice and helpful. Loved the pool and patio outside the room. Even though there was a sliding glass door, the locks made me feel very safe. Inexpensive, centrally located… I would absolutely book here again.

You don't come to Cape Cod to sit in a hotel/motel room so I often wonder what people expect. After a mistake via booking through Expedia the Blue Dolphin staff worked us through it allowing us to check in on good faith before it was resolved. The room was clean and we found the grounds more expansive then we thought and a nice pool the kids really enjoyed. In fact they gave us a room near by the pool for just that reason.

The suites ste a good size but could have a better paint job slider doors should work better and have screens on all the doors but overall pretty good.

My husband and I rode bikes from Denis to Wellfleet this past weekend and stayed at the Blue Dolphin. When we got there to check in the woman at the desk was very personable and helpful. We spent some time at the pool as we were hot from riding. When we decided to go out for supper we called a cab and it was going to be about $75.00 round trip which was way to much for us to want to do so we went back to the front desk to see which restaurant was the closest to us. The owners were at the desk and showed us the closest one and my husband said we would like seafood and the owner said that restaurant doesn’t have seafood. So I said to my husband let’s just go there because it was in walking distance 1.5 miles which I really didn’t feel like walking or getting back on the bike because we had already ridden 26 miles that’s day. We walked out and started walking back to our room and the owner came out after us and said I will drive you to the restaurant you want to go to and pick you up when you are ready. What a nice man. We tried giving him money but he wouldn’t take it. That alone gives this place a five star. That you again Sir. It was much appreciated.

Clean, affordable, unlimited access to the pool, and friendly staff. Would suggest you bring your own pillow though as theirs was a bit to firm and gave me a headache. The bed was very comfortable and they supplied more than enough covers and towels in the bathroom too, which is a real plus (nothing cheap). Free coffee and extra supplies too. Within driving distance of the beach.

Renovations well done; some dated, clean sturdy furniture remains. Terrific staff. Great location and grounds.

Pictures are very deceiving! Rooms are very outdated! Pillows were very uncomfortable. Locks on front door and sliding doors did not work… woke up itchy but im hoping its me being paranoid or mosquito bites. I will not be staying here ever again. Although next door there is a great breakfest spot!

For the price it is a good deal. Don't expect Hilton when you drive up as well as when you pay. It is just short of cabin with large courtyard and place for a campfire. Nothing fancy but a clean room to get some sleep.

Rented for three nights. Not very crowded so I would have expected they would at least make the bed?. Not! Bug (s) in the bathroom? Yes at least One. This is a 2 star hotel. It was OK about average for the Cape.

This is my 3rd year going to the Dolphin. The property is nicely maintained and in a beautiful area. We love the fire pit in the courtyard, very cozy. My room (148) is ALWAYS clean and smelling fresh! The AC works great too! Good water pressure too for a nice hot shower at the end of a long day on the water. The ladies at the front desk are always very nice and accommodating with late check ins and outs. They have lots of good info and are happy to share if you are not familiar with the area! You can't ask for anything more than a clean room and a smile. Thanks for another great season on the Cape! See you next year! John.

I have stayed here before years ago and it was very pleasant. Not so much now. We had a family suite with 2 bedrooms and kitchenette. The only good thing is that the beds were comfortable. The rooms were dirty. There were wrappers and food under the couch, spiders with webs in just about every corner. The kitchenette was run down and falling apart. The shower had bad water pressure and never got past lukewarm. The room had a weird musty smell and the deadbolt on the door didn't work. Won't stay here again.

We're here right now (my girlfriend and I) and have been very pleased so far. The rooms are. Clean and somewhat updated. The staff at the front desk are friendly. Checkin was a breeze. The pool is clean and sunny. And the location is perfect… everything you need is I'm a 10 minute radius. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a good affordable place to stay.

For the price it isn't bad at all. The pool is nice and it isn't extremely far from beaches. Though it will be convenient to have a car but hey againost people going to vape cod have cars. Anyways it's a good deal and highly recommended. They are also alot of caterpillars so watch your steps.

Average Inn for a decent price, pretty clean but sand came out of the water faucet and the phone doesn't work. Good location, 30 minutes from ptown.

Sweet little motel, close to everything and on the bike trail. We've stayed here several times, always a good experience!

Everything was easy and smooth! Rooms are nicer on the inside than the outside but they are very well kept and furnished. The location is also perfect. Right on route 6, only 40 minutes from Provincetown and very close to many beaches!

Had good experience staying in Blue Dolphin Inn. I was there with my family, and they loved the hotel plus the overall services of their friendly staffs. Comparing with other hotels around that area, this hotel has great price as well.

Had a really pleasant stay… The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean… Outdoor pool was really amazing… I'll be back someday…

My girl friend and I went on our 1st vacation 2gether and for the price I thought the blue dolphin would be a great place to stay, seeing that me and my sister stayed here 3 years ago. When I called to make my reservation in February 2013. They got our chk out date wrong and it took at least a month of phone tag and emailing back and forth be4 they got the chk out date correct on our bill. When we finaly went on vacation (dates 6/24-6/29) everything seemed fine at 1st. When we got into our room the smell was gross, kinda like we were in a a damp basement. The screen door going to the patio was bent and broken off the track. When I went to ask the lady at the front desk about it she just cut me off and said "no I can fix, no I can fix! ". Our 2nd day was the hottest day we were there and the AC unit stopped working, and I found that they put a bunch of "black ice" car air freshners in the ac unit. The site says that there are grills to cook on in the open field between the rooms, and I remember there being 5 or 6 throughout the court yard, but there was only 1 that was on the floor in the center and was filled with old ashes and cooking supplys. every time it raind the water would seep thro the carpet by the glass sliding door. site also states that the TV is color our TV only displyed black and green cuz every TV is running of the same cable box. The bathroom water smelt awful, kinda like the marsh.

Great find for the price. If its a little musty in the room leave a few extra bucks to tip the room attendant. You know. Common sense.
