Awesome, Thanksgiving there was memorable, the food was spectacular, a coffee station in the lobby, offering different kinds of liquor shots to add to your coffee, including a cheese appetizer platter. Fire pits outside with complimentary hot coco, s’mores, the deserts were fabulous. Yes I definitely recommend this beautiful resort.

My wife and I loved the Stage Neck Inn. The staff was so nice and friendly every day. They made sure we were having a great time. It’s so clean and plenty of sanitizing stations. We got the breakfast package, excellent little buffet. Wait staff was also super friendly and attentive. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We had our wedding and rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely perfect. The staff the facility and the scenery are all amazing. The staff went above and beyond in so many ways for us and it truly made our day just perfect! The rooms are gorgeous as well!

This is such a beautiful place. The staff was very friendly. Our room was so pretty. We had a fireplace and balcony. We loved it!

There isn’t anything that wasn’t perfect! We’ve been going there for a long time. Once we started bringing the kids and grands they all feel in love. Through the COVID restructuring the staff did an outstanding job but I’d say all of Maine has done their best to welcome us back. Different but still GREAT!

We just had dinner at the restaurant and it was awesome service, view, and food. Definitely 5 stars.

EVERYTHING was perfect my fiancé and I came to celebrate the birth of our daughter and our engagement and we couldn't have picked a better place. The staff was great food was good very clean and alot of amenities we are planning on coming back soon.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days last week. The staff, amenities, ambiance, and food, to name a few, were incredible. I would recommend the Stage Neck Inn to anyone seeking a scenic and entertaining getaway with a view (among other things). There were more awesome restaurants, historic tours, and other activities to attend than our time here permitted us to attend. It was a wonderful experience and we’re grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here. We will most certainly be back!

Everything was great! Our room was right on the ocean so that was awesome as well as the beds were super comfy. Had the best clam chowder at the restaurant at the Inn. Can’t wait till we can go back.

We love everything about this place. The food is fabulous, the service is wonderful, the rooms are lovely. We come here at least 3 or 4 times a year.

Everything was so awesome! The best place to wake up and watch the sunrise right from your room. The food was delicious and everyone was very friendly and accommodating! So happy to have our honeymoon at such a wonderful place and the photos from our wedding are spectacular!

Outstanding traditional inn along the shore with comfortable rooms, top notch amenities (spa, workout space, tennis, restaurant/bar), and great views of water — river, beach and ocean. Semi-private beach steps from front door; indoor and outdoor pools with food and beverage service at later during summer. Warm family feel throughout. We've already booked for next year.

We LOVE the Stage Neck Inn. During our rides up the coast we almost always drop in. The relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff, the updated bar and amazing views make this an important part of the southern coastal Maine experience. Our tip: park, eat lunch and then walk down to the York Harbor beach. You'll love it.

Nice. Comfortable room. Good public space. Nice views. Restaurant is expensive. Limited menu if you don't like fish. Nice staff.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The mimosas were warm & mostly orange juice. We waited over 20 minutes for our omelettes. The omelettes were very good. I thought it funny though, the toast they forgot to give me, when it came out was one lonely piece of bread cut diagonally. Meager. Our server, while nice, kept collecting dishes making us feel rushed. I literally still had my fork hovering over my plate and she’s like, are you all set with this? That happened a few times throughout our meal. We then had to wait close to 10 mins for our server pick up the check so we could leave. It was not busy.
The dining chairs were very comfortable. The view and location are wonderful. We enjoyed the ocean afterwards.

Such a beautiful destination. The rooms were comfortable and the balcony views were beautiful (river or ocean). The staff was nice. The spa has an after hours number, that was very convenient for me. I arrived once it was closed but I was still able to make my appointment before the next day. The facilities were great (sauna, fitness room, spa & restaurant). Outdoor seating available for lounging and the restaurant. York was freak, but Stage Neck Inn made it so much better.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms have gone through major renovations, and as a result look very nice. The views are amazing, and the beds are really comfortable. They really go the extra mile in room design and decoration. The restaurant here also went through major renovations, and really stepped itself up in terms of quality. The spa here is amazing, and so are the rest of the amenities. The pool is nice just because of the fact that it is never crowded. I had a great stay and will be returning.

The setting is right on the water and the views are tremendous! I went with a group of 8 of us and was handled superbly by the wait staff. I noticed a very large group having dinner… at least 20 people and they all looked pretty happy! This place is pretty pricey for drinks as well as the food but worth it in my humble opinion!

Went here for breakfast and the food, the atmosphere and customer service was 5 star. The breakfast menu is small but very good. I got the woodsman for breakfast and it was amazing! Highly recommend checking this place out if you like ocean veiws and a great meal!

Stage Neck Inn is a wonderful place. We have a 14 year old handicapped daughter. York is her very favorite place to go. We usually go for a girls vacation 2 nights every summer. Unfortunatley most places can no longer accomadate our daughter. Either because the pool is not accessible or the handicapped room can not accomodate more than 2 people. We need an extra set of hands available. This would require us to rent 2 rooms. That is not in the budget! Finding a handicapped… accesible and disability friendly place to stay is very difficult. My daughter's Physical Therapist recommended SNI. We decided to give it a try and do an overnight stay to see how it worked for us. We were very pleased! The room specials are great. The staff was wonderful. Food is great. The pool was excellent. They set up the pool lift for us to use. The room was set up perfectly. The views were spectacular. My daughter felt so comfortable and I was able to care for her without issue. We had a wonderful time.
We would love to return and hope to do our 2 nights maybe in September. Providing my daughter stays healthy. Thank you so much for making my daughter feel so special. Debbie Walles.

Excellent location on the ocean. Access to the beach is a little tricky, I've seen a few older folks fall. They recently remodeled the restaurant merging the bar, now with tv's, with the dining room, kind of tacky looking for a high end experience.

Took my wife there for New Years day lunch. Fabulous location, ocean views, friendly and attentive waitress. The food was fabulous, not over priced. We will definitely return. I would highly recommed thwm.

Really beautiful area. The inn is situated right on the water. Very lovely yet cozy feel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a heated indoor pool and hot tub. Family game room including ping pong table, board games and TV with movies. Lobby has a wood burning fire place. Would love to come back in the summer months and fully enjoy the experience. 8 degrees is a bit cold for this Florida girl!

I recently went to a wedding at this facility and it was amazing. The views are outstanding. The service was excellent. The food for the reception was delicious.

Everything was great. Perfect location. The only downside was the weddings held at this location made it hard to find parking.

I had lunch there yesterday on my way home from a weekend in Ogunquit. I had just been there in July and had a great dinner there. What a great surprise to see that there was gluten free pizza there. I assumed it would be like the other gluten freee pizza I've had elsewhere. Oh no, it was not. It was superb and tasted like I remember pizza tasting 15 years ago. My sister ordered the lobster roll and it was outstanding. We had Maryanna for a waitress and she was excellent. I can't wait to go back there for lunch or dinner.

Not only is it beautiful and extremely well maintained, the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and caring. While we were vacationing there, my wife slipped and fell at a store off property (not at the Inn). She had to go to urgent care and was walking on crutches. We mentioned (in passing) what happened to the front desk staff. They were very caring and made sure she was comfortable. The next day I was ordering lunch by the pool and even the GM asked me, "how's your wife… I heard what happened. " I'm so impressed by how thoughtful the entire staff is here. The food is great too. We'll definitely be back.

Love the Stage Neck Inn for special occasion dinners. I live locally so have not stayed overnight, but the inn is lovely. The gardens are very nice and professionally curated, and since it is right on a point overlooking York's Harbor Beach you cannot beat the views! This is an awesome place in Southern Maine.

What a wonderful place for a getaway. Not far from Boston or Providence, it is a great location on the ocean with plenty to do nearby. It's a short ride to the Kittery Outlets and close to downtown York. The food was wonderful and a beautiful buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. All rooms have a water view and they have both an indoor and outdoor pool along with a nice beach.
We love it here and will definitely return.

Beautiful location with great views of the ocean. Went for lunch and service was good but the food was not that great, not what I would expect. There was also someone doing maintenance on the outdoor dining area, drilling something to the floor right next to where we were eating.

Coming from Boston it's great to take the short drive to the Main shore. We always come here because it's got a great view and there is parking. Food is the standard, fresh seafood fare you'd expect from a nice hotel restaurant. Come here for the views, extremely comfortable seating, and atmosphere.

The restaurant here has great view and the service has always been nice. I haven't found a dish that I would go out of my way for but everything I've tried has been consistent and satisfying. As of the time of this posting, the wine list — while not extensive — stood out to me as being thoughtful put together and well priced. People looking for a romantic get-away or date spot would probably be pleased with what the Stage Neck has to offer.

We had our daughter's wedding at Stage Neck, and it was a great experience. The staff was knowledgable, patient and extremely helpful with arrangements as well as referrals to othe vendors (we really liked the officiant). The plan was for an outdoor ceremony if possible, with Plan B being to hold the ceremony in the covered patio. On Friday the forecast was for a nor'easter on the day of the wedding. When we arrived for the rehearsal, Dawn told us that they felt the patio would be too noisy with the wind, and they moved the ceremony into the restaurant, which is actually a much nicer room. We particularly liked that the ceremony and the reception were in different spaces, so no need to crowd the guests into some small space while the room was broken down and set up for dinner. They were also really good about working with us on some last minute table logistics. The service all through the reception was excellent, and the food was very good. A lot of people told us that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. And even though everything had to be inside, there are great views of the water from botth the restaurant and the reception room. Many of our guests also stayed in the inn and found the rooms very comfortable.

My wife and I discovered this resort looking just scoping around on the 'net looking for a nearby place to get away for her birthday. We were visiting during their low season and got great rates. The wine and cheese hour was a nice touch, coming just after our arrival and allowing us to get into the vibe of the place. Overall the inn had a very relaxed pace, very unhassled, and a feeling that no one was looking over your shoulder. Some other high end resorts can unfortunately make you feel self-conscious, like you're intruding on someone's turf. We took a nice walk along the cliffside path before dinner. And as far as dinner itself, it was excellent. A great experience overall and we would definitely stay again. One small negative: a very curious Maid Service Charge coming just as we checked out. What's up with having to extract four more bucks from visitors as they're going out the door? Kind of cheesy. Seems that charge should be just wrapped into the room rate.

My wife and I spent three days at the Inn and were very impressed with the place. There were some issues however that detracted from our vacation. One good point is that the outdoor pool has reserved times for the adults to swim at 8-9 AM, 12-1 PM and 4-5 PM since the pool is totally monopolized by kids. They could arrange more convenient times but at least there is some time set aside for adults who would like to use the pool as well. The breakfast buffet is great but the main restaurant is not. We had gazpacho that was so spicy it scalded your mouth and there was so much spice on the scallops that you couldn't taste them. One night for dinner we were left sitting forever by a waitress who never came back after she brought the entrees so we just got up and left. Considering the prices in the restaurant they could have done a better job with the food. If we go back we'll either eat in town or eat in the bar. The room was spotless and comfortable with a/c that came in handy as it was hot and humid.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights with our 4 year old daughter. We consider ourselves to have pretty high standards of "vacationing" and this place was no exception. The staff was amazing, the rooms were not only up to date but extremely clean, and the amenities on-site couldn't be beat. If you're into Honky-Tonk beach vacations this is not for you. It is upscale without being pretentious and we couldn't believe how many families were there. The rooms are impeccable and cleaned about THREE times a day. There is a private beach right next to the resort with soft sand, an enormous outdoor pool with grill restaurant, and an indoor pool which yes, is small, but serves its purpose. We loved that we could either stay at the "resort" all day or go into downtown York for the day and then come back to our lovely retreat. We did get an Ocean View King Room with a balcony but next year we would move to the garden floor since the walkout ground level patio would have been ideal for our daughter. The only negative aspect was that the Ocean View Room balcony was very small and not very private since it is right above the lawn where everyone sits. Everyone sitting outside in the big adirondack chairs or in the restaurant can see right up to where you are sitting. That said, we would still get Ocean View or Harbor View but on the garden level. And honestly, the rooms overlooking the parking lot were not bad at all if you are looking to save money.

My parents were visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to stay somewhere up to their high European standards in York to be close to our house. The Stage Neck was chosen. The reservations were made under my stepfather Middle Eastern surname (that was the beginning of the bad service). They not only booked them a room overlooking the parking lot instead of the ocean view room they asked and were charged for, but they would not refund the entire amount of the room. The Stageneck bills itself a "European boutique hotel" — I do not believe any of the management has ever stepped foot in Europe.
