When we checked in our room was dirty, the next day we went to eat and the kid behind the desk was sleeping and there where no eggs. Garbage was all over the counter. Finally I woke him up, he was confused on where to get the eggs. The grippers to take eggs out fell on the floor he put them right back on the eggs. Second day no coffee. The kid behind the desk didn't even know how to change it so I changed it. I paid cash wanted to go to a different hotel and Craig the manager is stating that he can't refund the money due to if he did it would bring his drawer short.? WHAT… Never again will I stay here.

Cheap motel, good service and clean but is a low priced and there for generally low quality hotel option. I would definitely use them again. Quick and easy reservations well kept rooms. Important to also keep in mind cheap motels cater to large families often so at least three families with small children came and went while I was there. I have children so I didn't mind but to some that may be a major inconvenience.

The beds are super comfortable, the front desk staff was nice and helpful, and I liked the fact that they offered laundry. Great place for travelers.

Fridge in room doesn't work. Bathroom sink doesn't drain the stopper was pulled out. The last person who stayed here left clothes behind and still hanging in the bathroom… makes me wonder if the really cleaned the room. Only 2 towels in the bathroom. Will update when I talk to the front desk this morning about maybe some compensation.

Clean hotel, good variety on breakfast, free Wi-Fi and parking, friendly staff and good price. All in all, a great value hotel.

Typical hotel. Stopped the office and got our keys with ease. Room was clean, Wi-Fi ready. Soda, snacks, and ice was down the hall. Continental breakfast had the usuals. Bagels, made your own waffles, fruits, hot water, coffee and juices. The only thing we would have liked is for our curtains to fully shut. They had a thin white sheer curtains that covered the window. The thicker curtains were permanently in place open. Maybe to not cover the ac/heat. Not a huge deal but if could be with lots of traffic, meaning headlights and people who may look in. Overall for the price is a bargain in comparison to the others we looked at.

Giving it two stars because one of the people who work in the front desk (had a heavy Indian accent) is extremely pushy when it comes to the rooms being cleaned, even when asked to not be bothered. I work at nights, so for someone to call me and harrass me about having our room clean is very rude and annoying. He did not back down even when I stated why I was not allowing for the the services. Other than that, the rest of the staff is friendly.

Cheap accommodations. Not the cleanest room. But the bedding was fine. Close to lots of great things in Freeport and Yarmouth.

Among other things I was impressed they had a parking g place for veterans.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was perfect, they accepted our two small dogs and the continental breakfast was amazing! A+

Rooms were clean & reasonably priced, but older with slight musty odors. No indoor access to breakfast or office, had to walk outside to get there. However, would still stay again because of reasonable price, easy access to highway & locale.

Was very affordable and the house keeping and cleanliness was above average expectations they also have a free continental breakfast included and the hotel is very convenient in location so close to everything like shopping eating and Portland.

Online purchase was easy and fast, when we arrived check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and everything worked great! Staff was friendly and helpful!

Thanks to Google reviews, the wife was ok with trying out this Super 8. Definitely glad we did. Much nicer than any Super 8 I've ever stayed at and a great price! Would absolutely stay there again.

Best hotel! I was wary at first of another super 8 (I have had horrible experiences at other) but this place was so clean and well kept that it was like a dream. The staff was amazing and kind, I would stay here again a hundred times over! Can't wait to come back.

Clean and comfortable. Everything seemed new or at least well-maintained. Fast/reliable Wi-Fi. And just a couple minutes from the heart of Freeport. The only thing keeping me from giving this five stars is that the room had an odd incense odor and, while opening the window fixed the situation, we discovered that the lock on the window was broken.

Was wary about staying at a Super 8 but it was actually very clean and well kept. I stayed with friends overnight for a concert and the staff was helpful about letting us split the payment between each other. Free breakfast feat. Waffle maker included, overall a pleasant stay!

Best Super 8 ever. Doesn't feel like a Super 8 at all. More like a Hampton Inn. Recently renovated, very good/friendly staff and close to L. L. Bean, The Desert of Maine and even the city of Portland. Right off the Interstate, and after a long day of traveling could not have been better. Superb breakfast by the way. Oh, and there's Thai food across the street!

The room was very nice and clean. Close to the freeport outlets and right off the highway, which was nice. Seemed like a well kept establishment with friendly staff.

Confusing approaching the business as there is a sign telling you that the entrance is not there and it is further down. Staff was friendly. Room was nice considering how inexpensive it is. Only gripe was that the bathroom door was weird. Surprisingly positive experience overall.

The rate is not too bad and the rooms are clean and recently updated. My wife and I walked into Freeport but it did take about 30 minutes.

We have an annual event each year in Freeport Maine and we have stayed at Super 8 3/4 yrs. The staff has been very accommodating there have been improvements each year 2016. Has had the most improvements the rooms carpet appliances. All top quality. The continental breakfast is okay something is better than nothing. Great rates, great staff! Will always be looking to stay at Super 8!

Great room great bed and bright lobby! Staff was exceptional. Please pay more attention to detail housekeeping! Lots of new updates and terrific location. Also, the breakfast was wonderful, but I prefer brewed coffee instead of instant. Thank you Super 8 for a great stay! From Ma.

Nice little hotel. Nothing bad to say, it was quite alright for our one-night stay. Room was clean and cosy, beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic and simple but quite enough to avoid starving before noon. Very close to Freeport and L. L Bean which was our main purpose in the area. So, bottom line, it was satisfying.

My wife and I stayed here on our trip back to Nova Scotia from Boston. Room was a bit outdated and bathroom dirty, hair in the bathtub, but we were able to look past that for a cheap place to sleep for a few hours before continuing our drive the next morning. However, 5 min after going to bed, we heard rodents in the wall. We hit the wall and the sound would stop for a moment, then you could hear them moving around again. We got up and left, stayed across the street for $5 more.

Upon arriving at the hotel we found that the heat in our room did not work. No Problem, we call the front desk and they said "We will have to switch your room, Come get a key! " Still no problem, we retrieve the key and GUESS WHAT next room, no heat either. So yet again, HIKE back to the lobby where we will switch our key and get a new room. Finally this one has heat and we settle in. Great. Plug in one phone, no problem, 2nd has to go into the bathroom, still no big issue. Need to plug in computer to work. Well lets unplug one of TWO lights in the room so we can do that. Super efficient, counting the outlets there are 4 in the whole room. 1, plugging in the fridge and tv, 1 plugging in the other lamp and coffee pot, 1 plugging in the alarm clock and desk light, and one in the bathroom. Not to mention there isn't one close enough to plug in the Microwave that is in the room with finagling it. DON'T FORGET YOUR POWER STRIP! Not to mention, they do not warn you the ice machine is only in one building near the lobby. My suggestion is to hand out buckets at the desk, but what do I know. After this, we can't take much more so we aren't trying the tv, and the sheets are scratchy. Good Luck.

We stayed in Freeport Super8 last week we were amazed by the service we got from this motel. Breakfast was fantastic, room was spot less, staff very very friendly and helpful.
