Just average… nothing to rave about, but not horrible, either. Tub in our room wouldn't drain & showering included standing in several inches of water. Reported on Saturday — we checked out Monday, but issue never addressed. Never received housekeeping service on 1 of our days. Breakfast was very good, well stocked with lots of choices.

Good location. Great staff. Rooms were is good order. No real complaints.

Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could use some updating but we're clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Recently our client, touring comedian Zach Johnson, was in the area on tour and stay at this delightful property. Despite his late check in, the hotel staff treated him with kindness and hospitality you would expect during the day. After getting some much needed rest, he headed out to his gig (but not before having some amazing complimentary breakfast) to return that evening and relax a little in the pristine pool. When leaving, his quick check out let him get back on the road to his next stop and save him some time. With such a resounding endorsement we look forward to sending any future clients in the Vernon area here!

This hotel was a dream come true especially if all your dreams revolve around a sleeping on a decent bed. Also my door was built weird or maybe is just a little too far from the frame it closes at. You can easily get into my room with a credit card pushing the closing mechanism and don't need a key at all. I just dead bolted it when inside so I slept fine. 5/5 wasn't murdered in sleep.

I had an overall good time but I have to leave a 3 star due to the management. The person on the floor above me was smoking weed all night and it stunk down in my room. It happened all night. They should manage issues better.

Spend two nights here with my sister while she was visiting UConn. The room is nice and clean. Free breakfast. However, I had some bad experiences with the breakfast staff. I wanted to get some pancakes for breakfast, but there was no more flour mixture in the automatic pancake machine. So I ask a lady working in the breakfast area if there was any flour mixture because the one in the machine ran out. The lady's name is Yamada or something. She gave me a dirty look, said to me :"No! " and walked away. Then later a white lady came to her asked for pancake. Yamada was like, "ok, I'll bring more flour out right away. " I was sitting near by and heard the entire conversation. I thought "oh, maybe Yamada was just so busy when I asked, it's not big deal" However, it didn't stop at that. After Yamada finished setting up the machine, everyone was getting pancake, including me. When it was my turn to press the "ok" button to make my own pancake, Yamada showned up again and took my pancake, and said "this is for that little girl, not yours. " I was speechless and told her I am the one press the ok button to make the pancake! But still she so confidently took my pancake away. No apologies, no excuses. How can a hotel staff be this rude? Well, lucky enough I didn't get choked by the pancake I finally had!

What hotels don't have room service and serve alcohol? My dad booked me a 1 queen bed room, I got 2 queen beds. My mini fridge is making so much noise I keep having to hit it so I don't go crazy listening to it. My only complaint for a hotel that isn't considered "luxury" there's no room service or alcohol served. People have to eat more than just breakfast and not all of us want to go out to eat.

Nice place to hang your hat while visiting relatives in the area. Great staff to assist you at all hours was a bonus.

Nice place just a pain to have your door key reprogramed every day. It has a nice breakfast restaurant inside pretty cool.

Very friendly folks working here. Clean we'll kept rooms and property. Plenty of parking and it's conveniently located near Rt 95. If you are staying a few days there are plenty of gas station and places to eat nearby. It's not located near a town center so with a few exceptions you need your car to do shopping although there are are eateries close enough to walk to.

There is no valet parking, the service sucks. The place is dirty and hasn't been remodeled since the 1990s. Hroom keys don't always work. Facilities are old. The furniture had Knicks, marks, and tears all over it from years of use and the plastics, including tubs and ice machines have yellowed from age, and my sheets were not changed but turned inside out.

The staff are nice and friendly, unfortunately that's why I wanted the hotel as high as I did. The hotel itself is run down and in dire need of improvement. If I want on the third floor, I would have requested a new room due to the fact that my window wouldn't latch or lock.

There's no parking only valet. Room is wonderful. People was good.

Spent 10 night here. The bedding was dirty from the previous guest. Dirty towels left on the floor just got folded and hung back up. The day before check out my luggage got dumped out on the floor, shave kit dumped on the counter in the batheroom and the room was messier than the way I left it. They left the room with the bedding balled up and all but 1 towel missing. When I spoke to the front desk I got offered more membership points to not make a scene…

Rooms are up to date, but a little dirtier than expected. Pool was excellent. No complaints on the breakfast.

Decent hotel if you need to spend the night for cheap. I just stayed for one night. Room was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. The provided breakfast was not very good. 3/5. Somewhat clean and comfortable for just one night.

What a friendly and relaxing hotel. Just what I needed after a day of meetings. The room was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Loved the breakfast as well! I will definitely be back.

My fiancee and I met with Nikki to discuss reserving a block of rooms for our wedding. Nikki was incredibly helpful and the facilities are perfect.

Good clean hotel. Pool was great except for the pool temp. Location is close to many restaurants and Rockville HS. Definitely would stay again. Recent upgrades are great.

Recently updated. Nice and comfortable. The indoor pool was very nice. Easy to get to. Staff was courteous and helpful. And the Continental breakfast was more then just coffee and donuts. Definitely two thumbs up!

I delivered a pizza there. The customer was nice and didn't stiff me. Definitely a plus. The staff were friendly even though I wasn't a customer and the place was clean. Would recommend.

I have been a regular customer for a couple years, through the renovation process and winter storms. But now it seems they need to double there room rates for rooms that are just ok. Loyalty means nothing to this establishment, laat stay couple weeks ago found a noae dropping on the wall. This week vanity in bathroom was all cracked and no soap holders in the shower. Good luck staying here for the price.

Bed and linens totally on the high end not what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. The room was nice modern and clean. Staff was friendly. Only thing I wasnt happy about was the ICE COLD bathroom floor. In rm 119. Also the pool was chilly. Could of been a little warmer. And the wall are thin. I could hear noise from out side the room constantly. The price was the same as a 3 star hotel not far away. I think the price was high for a two star hotel.

Our family was traveling from Boston and our car broke down near this Holiday Inn. The staff couldn't be any nicer to my family. They went out of there way to make sure we had everything we need. The room was more than comfortable & clean. I really want to thank the staff at Holiday Inn for looking out for my family. You all went beyond the call of duty. Ron & Ellen Risken.
