This was our cute little boutique-y motel/hotel. Great value for the money. Loved everything but the cilantro conditioner. (Just kidding… didn’t smell like that at all). Perfect room in the heart of downtown-walking distance to all great shopping and eateries.

The hotel and rooms were perfectly designed. The staff is so professional and kind… they handled everything for us. Also, there's a coffee shop in the building. Need I say more!

Just back from 4 nights at The LARK and it was amazing! Such a cool spot. The room was spotless, comfy bed, awesome sheets, funky and cool! The best part was the staff! All so friendly, accommodating and great! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Amazing stay! Stand out staff who shared not only their passion for the outdoors but huge smiles! Liked the ‘Field Journal’ signed by them at check in which included specific places based on our input to eat & drink! The amenities in-room were sweet too! Perfectly located downtown & near the Coop for sweet & healthy groceries.

We had a great stay in Bozeman at the Lark. It is a hip take on motel lodging. An ice cream shop on premises attracts an active crowd. My one complaint would be that the rooms are a bit Spartan for my taste.

The Lark holds itself out as a boutique hotel, but other than a first rate shower/bathroom and downtown location, nothing justifies a nightly price of $299. I expected everything to be first class, when in fact it is just a remodeled motel. The rooms are very clean, but pretty small. The staff is very nice and efficient. Due to the small parking lot, valet parking is mandatory, but no charge. There is no coffee in the rooms and they forgot to tell us that it is provided in the lobby.

A most incredible hotel located in the heart of beautiful downtown Bozeman, Mt. The rooms are some of the nicest, best decorated we have found on our travels around the world. The owners did not spare a cent when putting this property together. Also, we found the staff to be very well trained… the hospitality and desire to help was extraordinary. We look forward to our next visit, sooner rather than later.

I love the decor here. It has an industrial modern look that is like a pinterest board everywhere you look. I lobe it. Each room is a little different. It does come with ear plugs since it is on main street. If you are a light sleeper maybe see about the new addition area. We stay here or the Element. Great to walk out and be down town. A brewery and distillery is across the road, but everything is really close.

The lark is an outstanding hotel and it was beautiful designed. The only problem I had was with the valet parking as they had lost our keys. The reason I am still willing to give 5 stars is because they have done nothing but take care of us. They kept us well informed and were very polite about the whole circumstance.

The Lark is lovely and in a fantastic location. Free valet service meant never looking for parking, and it's dead center of everything on Main St. The bed and linens we're top notch. My only complaint regards noise — construction crews were outside at 8am, and very thin walls meant I heard my upstairs neighbor walking around before I wanted to be awake. I noticed after waking that ear plugs were stocked in the bathroom, perhaps these are measures the hotel has taken to address the noise issue. All in all it was a great stay and I'd gladly return!

I’m beyond impressed with this cute boutique motel. The decor is beautiful, beds are very cozy and the staff has been friendly. Great location in downtown Bozeman. If you are looking for a place to stay I highly recommend it!

This is seriously the coolest hotel I’ve stayed at. The art in the room is very neat. Plus they communicate by text message alerts—which was super convenient and modern. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Also, I think whoever picked the scents for the soaps was thirsty for a mojito (it’s rum and mint)! Definitely would stay again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Excellent hotel! Comfortable beds, trendy rooms, tasty coffee in the morning. Great showering/bathroom products, was happy the shampoo/conditioner was colored-hair friendly. The staff was very accommodating for our last minute booking. A cozy fireplace out front with seating. Location was perfect, on a street with many restaurants/shops. Parking seems limited, but there is a lot, and we had a Uhaul and parked without problems. Overall, I'd recommend this for a short stop or long visit in Bozeman!

Summary: The Lark is a nice place to stay, and I wouldn't be disappointed to stay again, but if given the choice I'd probably try other places to find a better match. The Lark is a very cozy, quaint and "real" feeling hotel. The rooms are lovening decorated and clearly reflect the style of the local area. My room had a queen and two bunk twin beds and although I had no complaints as a single person I imagine a family or even potentially a couple might feel a little cramped. The bed was comfortable, no real complaints about any of the room fixtures. I did find that in the morning there was some degree of noise that made it difficult to sleep in much but they could also just have been my individual room. The bathroom is nice and I had no trouble with any of the parts. I would however overall just consider the bathroom average, but perfectly functional. The staff is super friendly and I feel like if you needed anything they would absolutely be willing to help. You are paying for the nicely decorated rooms so if you're trying to stretch your dollar you might be better elsewhere. If you're looking for a lot of space you're also probably better off somewhere else. But if you want something more real, want to get into the local spirit or just need a place to crash after an adventurous day, this is a great fit.

Adorable boutique hotel in downtown. Walking distance to everything you want to visit while staying in Bozeman. Rooms are bigger than you think. The free tea and coffee in lobby are a joy.

The Lark is a well imaginied remodeled motel. The cozy mid century decor pairs well with the modern bathrooms and industrial metal work. The staff was friendly and they offer free valet parking. Coffee was great, and we we're over all very comfortable. The only reason I'm doing 4 out of 5 is because when we got there the front desk offered us a room at $40 more than was mentioned online. We pulled off just for the night to avoid a snowstorm, and hadn't made previous reservations.

Very ikea-y, in a good way. Super location. Most awesomest staff. Best coffee. Really is your functioning base camp for adventures, as advertised. (Night and day adventures). Lots of gorgeous day trips available after you've done your requisite traffic jam called Yellowstone Park. Parking is a mess all over downtown Bozeman, but this place successfully makes extraordinary efforts to mitigate the problem for guests. Try the little noodle joint almost next door. Two cool vintage shops just a few steps away as well.

Fun, updated motel with lots of special touches. This is a modern motel with attention to detail with a creative flair. Their customer service is exceptional with insider information about this beautiful town nestled in the mountains of Montana.

This place is modern and hip. I love the Mid century modern decor. I wish I could take it all home with me.

This place is one of my favorite hotels worldwide. Its fun, staff are beyond kind and accommodating, fantastic decor, overall fun place! Highly recommend!

Located downtown right on Main Street. Staff were more than welcoming, rooms were clean and modern. Parking is complimentary valet due to space. There's always coffee and tea at the front desk. Also a food truck right on the property that serves tacos.

4.5 Super cute hotel! . 5 star off because the bathroom barn doors do not close and lock. It actually slowly slides open as you're in there. Lol. Kinda loud but they provide ear plugs. Free coffee and tea in the lounge. They also have pack n plays for kids. (Which is why the bathroom door was an issue. ) The beds were very comfortable!

My overall experience staying at the lark was wonderful! Everything about this hotel is 5 star. Great location, very friendly & informative staff, very comfortable rooms and super cool layout design of the rooms. I highly recommend staying here!

It's actually victory tacos in the parking lot of the lark. The food is great, they have tacos and ice cream all of it is amazing. I would highly recommend you try it out.

Great hotel. Located on main Street, everything within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi, amazing taco truck sharing the lot. Rooms look trendy, beds super comfortable, high end shower products. Complimentary valet service was more of a burden than a perk… But only because I kept needing things from the car.

Just got home to whitefish from our incredible stay at The Lark in Bozeman and I could not have had a better experience! Perfect location, gorgeous facility and rooms but my favorite part was honestly the customer service, I felt like I was treated like a best friend every time I ran into or talked to a staff member. The mid-century modern style was perfection! I will absolutely be back!

Good location for what I was in town for, awesome rooms, excellent coffee.

The overall experience was great, with clean room, good breakfast and great staff! I especially appreciated the shuttle service and the people who drove it. They made me feel welcome, and returning to the hotel felt like coming home.

Convenient location, and friendly professional staff. The motel has been recently renovated and includes nice bathroom fixtures, a firm bed and a new interesting décor. BEWARE: There is a MAJOR construction project on (not "adjacent to") the property… FRONT and CENTER of the rooms. The hotel is in the midst of a sometimes noisy expansion. Since the parking lot is part of the construction zone, your car must be parked 2 1/2 blocks away in a parking garage. They do offer complimentary valet parking, but I would prefer to come and go as I please without the wait associated with a valet going to the offsite parking location to retrieve my car. I'm told that the construction should be completed sometime in early 2018. Upon completion of the expansion, I would likely consider staying at the Lark the next time I am in Bozeman. Many of the other reviews note that the rooms are not quiet… and I concur. The current rooms utilize an AC/Heat Pump mounted in the front wall. It was cold the night we stayed, so the unit cycled on and off all night long. Most "3 star" motels utilize central or baseboard heat to keep the space warm without the jolting sounds of a wall unit.

My family and I are currently staying at The LARK. This will be our second night. The rooms are small, but well laid out, the built-ins are very well done. Plenty of electrical outlets for all our gadgets. Our kids love the bunks in our room. The bathroom is large and beautiful! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our two most frequented areas are the coffee bar in the lobby and the little taco stand out front. The proximity to downtown shops and restaurants is great! I would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed this boutique hotel. You will appreciate the attention to detail and the friendly helpful staff! They have so. E great resources for exploring the area and they right near great restaurants and bars. The only downsides I noted were the lights outside the doors are on all night which makes it hard to get the room really dark. (I sleep better that way. ) Also, we had a noisy neighbor outside our door/window who was loud. If there was only some way to better sound proof the door/window. :-)

The room was nice and clean. My wife absolutely loved the soaps provided. The lobby space was welcoming and so was the staff. Hanging out on the patio and eating breakfast borittos from the food truck was a great way to start or day.

The LARK was one of the best hotel experiences I had. When I booked this hotel, I was skeptical, mainly because it was a local hotel and it didn't have an established history in the area. When I arrived I was immediately surprised. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and offered local tips for the area, and the room was extremely pleasant. The room was extremely clean, and felt brand new. It was refreshing to have locally produced items in the room too, down to the hand soaps and lotions. It really felt as if I was staying at my own home. It also was extremely refreshing to have a food truck attached to the hotel. Victory Taco is something not to be missed, and due to its extremely close proximity to the hotel very easy to access if you dont want to travel far for food after a long trip such as I was. The hotels location to other venues/businesses, if you don't want to try Victory Taco, is amazing. I highly recommend anyone stays here if they are stopping in Bozeman. I know I will every time I'm in the area.

This boutique hotel has lots of niceties for the techie traveller. Besides lots o USB ports, you can check out the Geiger counter, snow conditions and even simulate starting WWIII in the lobby. Wi-Fi is fast and there's a food truck out front permanently parked with coffee and hot snacks.

The Lark is such a fun, modern place to stay with amazing attention to detail! They have everything you need and forgot to pack. It's style is a refreshing change to the norm and they keep it local. Sheets were so soft and shampoo products were amazing! As a local that lives close by I would highly recommend The Lark even if you have to pay a little more… More than worth it!

The staff and experience we had staying at The Lark was so incredible. From check in to check out they made us feel like locals and really enhanced our Bozeman experience. I can't wait to stay there again! The rooms are so cool, and the beds are like sleeping in a spa!

Fantastic experience. The staff was helpful when I booked the room. The room decor was clean and modern. The mattresses were comfy. Their customer service was also phenomenal: we left a couple of gift certificates in our room accidentally after we checked out. We called the Loft and they said they would look for them. After their initial search of the room, they couldn't find it. Then they called us a few hours later and said they found them after rummaging through a bunch of trash bags. They also said they were going to mail the certificates to us. Thanks!

This hotel is awesome. Really impressive design and execution of a cool retro industrial look. You need to spend some time appreciating all of the amazing design elements in the lobby, which continue in the room. The interactive map in the lobby showing snow fall, snow level, and river flow is amazingly brilliant. Super friendly staff treated us more like good friends coming to visit from out of town than customers, and the tea they offer in the lobby was delicious. Can't wait to come back and stay again, and I'm sending all my friends they have to check it out.

Victory taco has some very unique tacos that hit the spot on the yummy factor, then go to the other end of the trailer and get some great ice cream with flavors like cardamom your taste buds will be blown away. also, if you're looking for a great place to stay the rooms at the lark are very cool and well put together.

Brand new high quality from the sink, and shower, to the bed. Well designed and decorated, perfect in every way. Well insulated so you can"t hear your neighbors. The mattress was wonderful. This place is titties. It's an old fashioned motel converted into a boutique motel (perhaps the worlds first boutique Motel? ). Location in downtown Bozeman can't be beat. Carpet feels like brillow pads for some reason, so I put on socks. Other than that, the experience has been flawless. Imma walk my way down to the alehouse and bar IX now. Lets Go Mountaineers! WVU!

If you want a true Bozeman experience this is the place to stay. Located in Bozeman's historic downtown area and a short walk from numerous coffee shops, restaurants, bars and retail stores. Beds are great, rooms are uniquely decorated and feature artwork by local artists.
