This place was horrible for multiple reasons. 1) we booked 3 months ago they did not reserve our room so we did not get the cheaper rate we ended up having to pay $20 more than what we expected. 2) We had 3 rooms in different areas NONE of them were clean on room smelt like mold and mildew the second room smelt like the morning after bad decisions (vomit). The third room smelled like straight up dirty booty. We looked past the smell but the beds were damp that we slept in. We pulled the sheet back it looked like they pulled the mattress out of a trash can. It was broken and it felt like you were not laying flat. The other beds were hard. The ones who slept woke up woke up with a stiff neck. The men couldn't sleep they were to worried about our cars getting broke into there was a lot of loitering. The pool is out doors and it looks real cute and clean until they kids jumped in then leaves and all kinds of debris all over. Lets not forget the construction that makes it nearly impossible to get into.

I really wish I could give this place negative stars. If you’re a military veteran with a service animal, good luck… just save your dignity and stay elsewhere. The manager, “jay” does not like dogs so she will not allow them. Which is clearly against laws, if they are working. Their employee actually walked out and quit because of the way the manager was treating me. Mind you, their website clearly states they are “pet friendly” and they waited for me to already have been charged and walking stuff into my room to tell me I was not welcome to stay any longer, because of the pets… finally after being told to just find somewhere else to stay, I got a different room, once I walked in I walked right back out. Disgusting is an understatement, I don’t think the room had been cleaned since this place opened. I did get a refund and found a GREAT hotel right down the road that was more willing to accept my “pets” and the room was great and actually cheaper than the Springfield inn junker. Lamplighter inn even has a bar to go and blow off steam after dealing with the horrid “Jay” as she called herself, from Springfield Inn. Also doesn’t help her and her entire family live at the hotel themselves so it’s like a village of kids and random guys everywhere.

I dont even give this motel one star. After driving for 12 hours straight from Michigan to Arkansas I got so tired I was low on cash as pay day fell the next night so I decided I just needed a bed. I looked online and the rooms are nothing like the pics online. I was in room 231 on my way to my room some people were on the bottom of my stairwell I'm sure making a drug deal. Got to my room turned light on and bed was crooked lifted the sheets to check for bed but which I didnt see turned TV on which wouldn't work too well very old TV went to bathroom tried to find light switch and couldn't find it went back by the bed looked at bedside table which had cigarette burns on it look up at the ceiling to only notice it was couple different color paint and looked like tried to cover up water stains. Grabbed my stuff went to front desk told him I cant stay here way too sketchy he goes can we get you a different room I said no I'm better off sleeping on wayside. He refused my money back which as I said I was almost broke to the next night so got my security deposit of 25 bucks back out in gas tank drove to bentonville Arkansas and slept on wayside. He could have at least offered my money back saying I was in the room for 5 minutes tops instead kept the 60 bucks I paid for. I strongly recommend dont stay there. If I would have thought of it at the time I would have taken pics and posted them on every booking site. Worst place ever!

The stay was horrible well what little time until we got rudely told to get off the property… Now this is due to me simply calling office bc the ac/heater was not working o not only for one but two nights and at 1230 am I am sitting outside with all my bags stuck bc I have no car and nobody is awake… I would go ANYWHERE besides there! He said our room was trashed which I have pics and we had jus walked back from Walmart but I even took my own trash out!

It was okay. The motel did its job. We just needed a place to sleep. The area was a bit iffy. Clean rooms tho. Lots of restaurants. All in all not a bad place.

Good rates and well kept but rooms lack amenities like fridge or microwaves.

Looks nice however room leave a lot to be desired.

Staff is very rude. I asked prices for rooms and the desk guy said "give me a break" shut the door in my face and went back to his room. Very unprofessional.

Staff was nice. Didn't like that I could hear all the traffic from outside in my room like I had the door open… the cleaning guy was a little creepy why mess with the fire alarm if you are there to fix the toilet (he could not explain that to me) I watch to many movies not to believe there wasn't a camera. Last resort on the strip of hotels only reason I stayed. Needs major updates done.

The location was close to restaurants and it is easy to find. The rooms were disgusting. There was garbage on the floor and cobwebs on the roof. We found the hair of someone in the bed, the clothes had not been washed.

Room was half clean, I could smell the cigar smell. Floor lugs were wet, bathrooms were OK.

Stayed two nights. Key deposit it's $25.00. Don't expect your money to be refunded. They said my room was trashed and refused to give me my money. Threatened to call the police when I said that we did not trash the room. It's a scam to get your 25.00 deposit! do not stay here if you don't want to lose your money!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, they are not very professional, I stayed there for 2 nights first time we went to the convention and came back we were locked out, if I could have given them lower than 1 star I would have.

Would never go to this hotel. Internet and TV does not work and no hot water when we stayed there the 11th of November. Will never go back our kids hated it so we moved hotels and there where others that switched as well. If it was not so late in the night I would of just left soon as I opened the door to the room.

Room smelled a little musty. They did give us spray to make it smell better. We booked 2 rooms and they were not together and on different floors, even though we booked them a month in advance.

I would give it a 1 but at least the beds were made. The room smelled funky, the pool was covered but the cover of the pool had sunken in and been filled with dirty water and other junk. The "breakfast" is a joke. That was the only reason I agreed to go here instead of the many familiar named hotels accross the street. Come to find out, breakfast was 2 gallons of milk and a loaf of bread in a tiny room the size of a walk in closet. I would not go here again if it were my choice. The service desk was otherwise friendly both in person and over the phone.

Great hotel for your money! Safe, very clean. The swimming pool was open late. The front desk people were nice and helpful.

Dirty! bad nasty sheets, rude check in people. Deadbolt on door wouldn't lock. Gutters falling off building, will not stay there again!

Bed bug… this place is infested… the staff and owners know it and still rent out rooms… bed bugs … bed bugs … bed bugs… bed bugs… bed bugs … nasty.

Room smelled like mold. Pillows were very small and flat. Not a very high quality hotel.

The experience wasn't bad. It's a cheap hotel that's decent. Needs more pillows on the beds though.

Too much traffic in the morning other then that super friendly definitely will visit again somtime.

If it would let me leave zero I would! This place was a Horrible experience 10 minutes after laying in bed I felt bugs biting me actually found bed bugs on my daughters pillow worst spot in Springfield druggies and parties down the way never again very dissatisfied.

We stayed here on 2/15/16. The room had a oder and was not real clean, and the hot water was just warm and took for ever to get warm. There was a lot of loud people outside of your room in the middle of the night.

The motel stay was ok! Had to go to front desk and get a remote for Tube styleTV. The traffic noise outside the room was louder then the TV.

Wi-Fi was free and fast. Breakfast is free also. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay at this location again, and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good room at a reasonable price.

Worst place ive EVER BEEN! Way over priced, horribly rude management, black mold, stinks, and should be condemed! I paid their ridiculous price for a run down room. Dirty underwear next to the bed. Used tissue by the headboard. I returned to the front desk to a rude unhelpful clerk anf explained the situation and I wanted a refund to go somewhere else. The response was NO and the management was gone. We then went to my room with no luck in changing her mind after showing her all that was wrong. So I asked her to call her boss instead she walked straight to his room to let him know I wanted a refund. So he just said no refund. Drive past this place at all costs!

Clean. Friendly staff. We stayed for three nights in September 2015 for just over 200$ for two people and had no problems. Everything was clean and housekeeping came in each day and cleaned and changed sheets, towels, etc. Would stay there again.

Stayed weekend of aug 15-16 2015. Great water pressure. Comfortable beds. Neat, tidy and clean rooms. Manager Sam Rama really saved us when a competitor overbooked and left us stranded. He was very helpful, curteous, sympathetic to our plight and friendly. All the staff were great. Breakfeast isnt much to speak of. Everything else was exactly what we needed. Will be booking here from now on. We are here 4-5 times a year. Thanks again Sam and hope you see this!

I was lured here by the ridiculously low price, but will never stay here again and I encourage you to AVOID this place. The chick at the front desk was rude and she rolled her eyes when I asked for the Wi-Fi password. The room I stayed in was clean, but the front door did not close properly so cold air (this was during the extremely cold weather in February 2015) was coming in. Also, there was little hot water so my shower was cool. Also, they advertise as having all the popular channels, it is a LIE. Only one, local. So, Law and Order played on repeat ALL NIGHT! Finally, the people staying on the same floor as I were very shady. One woman even tried my door and I had to scare her away. worst experience of my life.

My stay was January 24, 2015. King bed non smoking room. I was very pleased with my room it was very clean and neat. I have been a house keeper before and I know its a hard job and the girl at the desk was very nice and helpful. I will stay again.

Decent room. Couldn't sleep for Crap. Would not recommend. AC froze me out.

Gave me a room that the ac was messed up. Then moved me to another room. The whole place is run down. Needs a remodel badly. The pool isn't open and it is May 7th. What's that about.

If you want a place to lay your head it will do. Breakfast, keep going, Wi-Fi that is capable of more than giving it a 1 star rating that it really doesnt deserve, keep going, a TV with a remote keep going, a sink that doesn't have nasty stuff in the drain, keep going.

This is the single WORST place to stay! KEEP DRIVING! We had 2 rooms, one for my mother and one for us. Our room was on the second floor, and was a smoking room. It was filthy! There was a large stain on the chair, dirty blankets, stains all over the carpet and a joint on the floor next to the bed. I was willing to let ALL of that go, cause the room was only 39 bucks. Then in the morning, while shaving my feet started getting wet, sure enough the sink was leaking! We went to complain and were told that if we wanted to stay in a nice room to go down the street, and if we cared about where we stayed then we would not be smokers! Then the manager told my mother to "shut the f* up and get out" do NOT stay at this hotel.

Walking distance. Shower take a very long time to warm up. Nothing special on continental breakfast. (orange juice, coffee, beagle, toast, and etc. Room was a good size. Good service.
