Got there late of the evening after several hours of driving, place was inexpensive and very easy to get to off the interstate. Clark was friendly and the place was dated but clean a/c was nice and cold. Good TV channel selection. I'd definitely stay again.

Honestly it wasn't that bad. Everything worked and was cheap. I didn't see one bug. And it was clean. It looks run down on the outside but was cleaner than some other 3 and 4 star hotels I stayed at. The pool is not in use and I hate the fact they didn't have a first floor room but other than that it wasnt bad. :)

Very clean. No pool but who cares. Quiet got plenty of sleep.

Outside looks rough, but the room is very nice. I was early and they checked me in and told me it would be 15 minutes, and they stopped and got my room ready. So far pleased with it.

This place was really gross I could barely get any rest because how dirty everything felt and I’m pretty sure there was a mold problem. Floor was sticky and the area felt sketchy.

Never found the Free breakfast. But the it wasnt to bad but 62 dallor For 1 night is a Lot for such a ran done place.

Asked for 1 queen size bed for 2 people ended up getting 2 full size beds that my feet hung off of. I'm 5'5" and my feet hung off the end of the bed wen I laid down on it. Went to go out to dinner one night and they though we had left and killed our key, had to get it reactivated to get back n to room. Told cleaning lady we don't need nothing and while we was gone they went n our room anyways they DON'T listen! Will NOT BE Back at this place again!

The room was extremely clean. I had a new mattress. I have been a housekeeper in several hotels and motels. I know where to look to see if things are clean. Trust me tuey are incredible. The front desk person who I do believe owns this place is so kind. And we needed a couple more blankets and I would take them back to the room but she did. And said if we needed anything else just let them know.

Staff is mean and attempt to enter your room before checkout time, even if you answer and tell them not to open the door cause you’re naked. The air conditioner in my room did not work for the last 2 weeks. Beds are hard as rocks and some of the furniture and door frames in the room are held together by 2x4’s. Charged $15 more than any website states; including their own. The owner, really mean and tiny female FYI, stated that housekeeping must come into the room every other day, no exceptions. Except housekeeping didn’t start cleaning until 1 or 2 in the afternoon and took over an hour to clean one room. Sorry for being so damn nit picky but this place is horrible.

Nasty and rude. I don’t even want to give this place one star but I have to in order to post! I wish I could attach a picture on here of what we found on our bed and they said we must have done since the room was cleaned before we checked in (it obviously wasnt). We got back from watching the state games and got ready for bed, I went to pull the blanket back and that’s when I saw a HUGE blood stain on the sheet. I thought that maybe they just used a stained sheet (that’s still nasty but this place was nasty and ran down) but NO! I flipped up the other sheet and the blood was soaked through all the way to the mattress and the top blanket was just threw over it all to hide the stain! I laid on this bed with my 3 month old! I went down to the office and told them about the stain (I was even nice) and they started being very rude and saying we had to have left the stain and then kicked us out! It was after 11 pm, we had a 3 month old and everything was booked up since everyone was staying in Springfield for the State Games! We went door to door to every hotel and nothing. We already knew that though because we’d done that before even coming to The Plaza Inn. We ended up driving to Nixa and staying at a hotel there. Anyways, this place is NASTY, rude, not clean AT ALL, and I would never ever stay here again!

Its not horrible. I got a tube TV but I noticed a few rooms had flatscreens so I was kinda upset about that. Its quite and their not nosey. The room itself itsnt bad, just dim. Cant really see without opening the curtain. The beds are okay, pillows suck though. Checked thoroughly for any type of bug and have yet to see one. The bathroom looks horrible though. The tub (that is obviously suppose to be white) has yellow and brown splotches everywhere, almost felt pointless to shower in it since I still felt nasty getting out. I give it 3/5. Its good if youre a local and having a hard time or just passing by, its affordable and near stores and gas stations, or if you're on your way somewhere else, but if your visiting and expecting something wonderful choose somewhere else.

Sunny does a great job of keeping the motel quiet. We have stayed twice, both times the rooms were clean, the beds and pillows comfortable, and the showers hot with good water pressure. This is our motel of choice for price, cleanliness, comfort, and a peaceful environment.

Great place for single/widowed dating parents to spend time together. Clean. Comfortable beds.

Great for the price. Clean, quiet, and bug free. Friendly staff. Very close to shopping. We stayed here a week and had no issues with noise, or any other disturbances. Coffee, muffins and other stacks in the morning. I have stayed at several other hotels and this one was cheaper and had nicer rooms. This is now my go to hotel.

I love this motel, can't wait to come back when the waters warm and swim in that beautiful pool.

No star this place is a joke no cold water breakfast is a muffin the size of a snack cake. No coffee in the rooms bed hard as a rock.

Under New Management and they are great. I would recommend this Motel.

I booked a room there for five nights the only thing I asked is that they have a pool. It showed a pool online and actually mentioned it has a pool. There is a pool but she said it has not been opened for 7 or 8 years. She was very helpful and let me cancel without a fee. Very nice.

Was a nice place to sleep. An older building but the owners keep the rooms looking nice and the atmosphere is kind and helpful. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

A great customer experience. How is knowledgeable and a questions I had about the area. And even better that great breakfast food warming I will return to the thrift store / Hotel next time I come back to Springfield.

Do not stay at this hotel my husband and I went on May 18th to stay for one night we stayed in room 107 and upon entering the room we found that there were mold in the bathroom the ceiling light was falling down electrical wires were exposed the wallpaper was coming off the walls we could barely get into the room because it's still in a key the sheets were absolutely nasty full of stains when we pulled back the blankets we took pictures and left well the manager or the owner one of the two decided to charge us anyway and we tried contacting them for the past few weeks since then to get that refunded Unfortunately they have been giving us the runaround telling us somebody will call us back somebody will call us back nobody ever calls us back so I called today and I get told that since we took the pictures and sent them to the health department we are no longer able to get a refund then he starts yelling at me in his language and hangs up telling me that he called the sheriff on me for threatened to kill him through the phone LOL.

DO NOT GET ROOM 228! The ONLY reason they get more than 1 star is bc the guy at the front desk was extremely friendly and understanding. I was running very late, and then ended up at the wrong hotel, so he sat in the office for like half an hour waiting for me to find the place. Props on that! However… My room was DISGUSTING! I've posted pics to their Google maps page, and will also be adding them here for reference. Used TP and tissues, messed up towels, hair in shower, lights barely work prolly so you hopefully won't notice the PLETHORA OF STAINS on the bed, floor, chairs, pretty much every stainable surface. It may be one of the cheapest places in town, but I'd literally pay 3x the $50 some odd I paid to stay at the Super 8 I went to first while trying to find this dump. I haven't slept over 24 hours and am running off of limited funds, so sadly I'm stuck here. But I will NEVER stay here, or at any location EVER AGAIN! P. S. I reserved a smoking room 3 days in advance and have the confirmation email, yet they didn't have a smoking room available… POOR MANAGEMENT!

Decent hotel a little sketchy in some areas but overall a decent hotek for the price.

For the amount you pay is very reasonably-priced compared to other surrounding locations. With that great price you still get cleanliness, bug-free and a cozier more quite environment than its surrounding locations as well. To top it off the owner and his wife provide great care and are very polite, respectful, friendly but not nosey when it comes to their guest. As long as you do the same and cause no issues during you stay.

Very poor quality rooms dirty and discusting.

There were drug deals going on all night outside our room. There was obviously some serious prostitution going on as well. When we talked to the night manager she didn't care and let us know the security cameras did not work. We left and stayed at the Quality Inn. It WAS NOT worth $50!

Was visiting a friend who stayed here. They said it was cheap and barely acceptable. Was told the swimming pool was available and open til 10pm. It had been closed for a year and a half.

It was very nice I sleep well it was clean the water pressure was good it was nice of you to severe a little breakfast yhanl you and I enjoyed the quiet and cable was good.

It had a very bad mold problem. Had a reservation and would not let us check in till after 1:00 pm when we arrived at 12:15 stupid. Next time ill just spend the little extra and get a better room.

DONT READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, this place is terrible! spend the extra $10 and go stay at a motel 6. There was cockroaches, stains on the bed, cracks in the walls and burns all over the carpet. Unless you're looking for a terrible night, please go somewhere else and don't make the mistake my fiancé and I made by staying here. Terrible choice.

The room was ok and the ac didnt work to well and wasn't cleaned that well other than that it wasn't that bad of a place.

The room smelled like cigarettes and so did the bed and pillows only stayed one night for $65.

Admittedly, the rooms are dated. Sinks and bathtubs are stained and need repairs. Lighter colored drapes would make the room less dreary. Air conditioning units are not "auto" and make achieving an even temperature in the room difficult. Guess what though? When I was in a major life crisis and homeless was my only other option, these things take on a less significant meaning. Sonny, the manager at Plaza Inn, worked with me as no one else in a city with a population of nearly 160, 000 people would. To quote him, "We are humans and we are supposed to help one another. " He did just that. While I will not elaborate as I wouldn't want someone to take advantage of his more than generous nature, I will simply say that this complete stranger to me listened to me, was empathetic to my needs and I thank him from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to him, I had banana nut muffins and a cup of coffee every morning. Thanks to him, I had a bed to sleep in at night. Thanks to him, I was able to wash and dry my clothes. Lastly, if you are looking for a 5 star with all the perks, Plaza Inn is not the place; however, if you are looking for something affordable to shut out the world for awhile and get a good night of sleep, Plaza Inn should be on your agenda.

Old dated room no ice in ice machine everything was fine until I found bed bugs in 112.

I cannot adequately state here, how HORRIBLE of an experience this was. First, appearances. The end tables were very "distressed". They looked like they had been used in a daycare (a giant star PAINTED on one) and the other looked like it had been used in a workshop somewhere. The microwave and refrigerator were old, rusty, and stained. These appliances were disgusting, and would NOT put any food items in them. The sink and counter top were filthy. Although the toilet had been cleaned, it took 2-3 times to actually flush. Moving on to the shower, the tub had cigarette burns all along the edge. To top that off, the knob for the hot water did NOT work, and CAME OFF IN MY HAND. So, there was no shower. I would rather sleep in my vehicle than stay another night in this seedy dump.

For the $40 rate this is the best I lived. Clean house comfortable bed. I left my tablet on bed when I check out and I thought I lost it. When I drive back the cleaning person have drop it at front desk so im happy that I found it.

When staying in Springfield, this is usually my motel of choice. Clean room, good cable TV and Wi-Fi, right of I-44.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke when we specifically asked for non smoking room. Cigarette burns on every surface imaginable. Fridge was leaking onto carpet. The towel in side was stopping the leak very well. Lol. Heater works a little to well. About roasted all night. No remote for the TV could be found anywhere, but for the price of almost $50 just to sleep for the night it was tolerable. Had to pay for another room for my older kids so we needed to save a buck.
