Great hotel and good hospitality — the workers are awesome and friendly — I like the ambiance of the restaurant so clean and had a good breakfast.

Rude and over priced and employees have access to personal information wrong that they can use on customers accounts home office doesn't care! we filed police report I can't say how I really feel I think police couldn't find report ummmm.

I called Sept. 7 and the guy who answered the phone seemed nice at first. I asked if they accept cash or card, he said both. Once I got there I went inside and it seemed when he saw that I was hispanic his personality changed. He told me that since I was doing cash he also needed a debit or credit card to run through. So I went to the car and told my boyfriend to go in since he had a debit card. I decided to stay in the car. My boyfriend comes out quick and said, the guy said he can't run my card because I have to be in the same local area, it's the policy. (We live in Carthage, how could he not run the card? ) My boyfriend also notice the way he treated him. We both think since he saw we were hispanic, he decided to treat us unequal. Treat everyone EQUAL no MATTER what the RACE is!

Such a nice place to stay. Breakfast was super yummy with Tyler cooking our omelets exactly the way they were ordered from Rhoda. Rhoda took the BEST care of us! We will return ♡

We love staying at Hilton Garden Inn. The staff are all friendly. The beds are great. And the breakfast is wonderful. I feel like the staff are friends by the time we leave!

We were able to check in at a very late hour with no problems and an extremely helpful staff. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Renovations going on. Check in, kitchen, restaurant and bar in one room. Room sticking of cigar smoke.

Was very disappointed in hearing the front desk tell a couple that they will not rent to anyone within 50 miles. What if their power was out or had out of town guests or just wanted a staycation to get away from the kids. Or they couldn’t afford a honeymoon but only a night close to home. Poor policy!

Excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The restaurant bar is also great. The hotel is located behind a Homewood Suites. It's easy to miss. I would definitely recommend this place.

Kind of hidden, though not hard to find. Off the main road is nice, because it is extremely quite. Rooms are very nice, and the staff is super nice. It's the nice, little amenities that are really a nice touch. Highly recommend stopping by, and finding out for yourself.

Wonderful hotel, loved everything about it. The evening bartender was very helpful and friendly, as was the front desk. This will be my go to hotel for all future trips to Joplin.

Fairly nice. Breakfast isn't free, but rooms are roomy and comfortable.

Staff seem nice enough but TV service is horrid. Glitchy to the point of not worth watching. I have never had this bad of TV service in cheap hotels.

Nice hotel, convenient to several restaurants. Room was a typical Hilton Garden Inn, which means it was clean and spacious.

Place was great had a few small problems but they accomadated me and my family. Fxed them. Recommend it to anyone though!

Overall, this hotel was fine. However, the hot tub in the pool area was luke warm at best. The heat had been turned off because one guest complained that it was too hot for him. A hot tub is supposed to be hot. The desk clerk called maintenance & got the heat turned back on, but even after an hour it was hardly hotter than when we first stepped in. By this time it was nearing closing time, so my girlfriend & I went back to our room. Also, I appreciate that there is a restaurant on site, but I have never stayed at a hotel that charges $140 a night and makes you pay for breakfast. It was a buffet breakfast that cost $10.95 per person. Every hotel I have ever stayed in had free breakfast, & the room was not that expensive. Granted, I paid for a room with a whirlpool tub, which made the room more expensive than usual; still, breakfast should have been included. We went down the street to Golden Corral & paid less money for a bigger selection of food. Furthermore, this hotel offers a pantry service, where snacks & drinks can be purchased; however, it is quite expensive. I paid over $15 for two pints of ice cream & two small bags of Cracker Jacks. I suggest that anyone who stays here bring plenty of money. Finally, this hotel advertises a bar on site; however, the "bartender" is actually one of the two chefs for the restaurant, and not an actual bartender. The only drinks he could offer were bottled beers & ales, and liquors mixed in soda.

I made a reservation for a special room for Valentine's Day. My address obviously showed I was located locally. Arrive at the hotel on the night only to be told that their policy does not allow for visitors that live within 50 miles of the hotel. This policy was not listed on the website and was not pointed out before check in arrival. My belief? Either they over-booked, gave away my room, or did not like the fact that it was a couple of young people checking in. I even offered an extra deposit and was still denied. When I told "Josh" that I should have just stayed at the Marriott, he asked me why I didn't. Well you will be sure I always will.

My stay has been great! The only down side to it was food and drink pricing for the on-site restaurant. Noodles and fresh basil for $16 is quite steep. However, a quick 5 to 10 minute walk and you have other great dining options.

Very clean and fancy. It was nice to see a person working to clear the snow and keep the floors dry so we didn't slip. The man at the service desk was very polite and helped us find where we were going. The bedrooms were huge and very nice! We loved the whirlpool tub in the room.

Our usual Hilton was booked up. This one had a very nice greeting area & super kind and attentive staff. We had the $10 breakfast once. It was cooked by a chef and it was a delight.

This Hilton was very clean. We arrived at 10pm and the staff, Lisa, helped get us checked in with our rewards discount. Our room was very clean, as well as comfy. Water temperature & pressure were good. One small vibration noise from the refrigerator was kinda annoying, but when we mentioned it at check out, they gave us two complimentary breakfast tickets. The breakfast chef and waitress were very friendly. Glad we stayed there. Next time, we'll try the pool & fitness room.

Everything was as expected from a nice hotel, but I could hear other people's water running when they got in the shower, and it didn't exactly wake me up but I kept hearing it in my dreams. Room was cozy and hotel was nice.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. We had a work function here in one of their conference rooms. It was very nice and clean. The parking lot is awkward. What I was really confused by was the fact that there is another Hilton right in front of this one. Not sure I understand the strategy there.

We had a nice room, friendly staff and a bar. I would have given 5 stars but our whirlpool tub didn't work very good and the room could have been cleaner.

The staff was extremely courteous. The hotel is situated conveniently close to several restaurants & shopping. The food is very good as well. The rooms are clean & well furnished. It was a pleasant stay.

Because I had a AARP rate, I was not allowed the honors other customers have. I have stayed here in the past and happy with my stay and now it seems to be over used and run down. I was not happy.

Love this place! Staff was fun and friendly, the food at breakfast is good, the beds are comfy. Would definitely stay again!

I have stayed here on at least 4 occasions. The staff has always been kind and pleasant. Breakfast has always been delicious. Hamburgers were good also.
Beds were like sleeping in a hole even after we added air. Feel like they need to retire them. They need fans in the bathroom because the moisture has caused the lights to rust and the rooms definitely need painted.
But I have given it 4 stars.

Second time staying here and it's definitely one of the nicer hotels in the area. Staff is super helpful and friendly (both last and current visit). Decent amount of chain restaurants nearby and right off the highway. If you need to spend a night in Joplin it's definitely worth checking.

Definitely not worth the amount of money I paid for the room. The t. V. In the room shut off multiple times & wouldn't turn back on until I unplugged it for 10 minutes every time. I asked the receptionist for a restaurant recommendation for dinner, she recommended Fat & Happy. Went there, was a run down bar full of bikers, not suitable for my daughter. The bathroom in the pool area was filthy, smelled terrible & there was no toilet paper. Although breakfast was really good, it wasn't continental as I was led to believe. The bathroom in my room was clean but has some minor maintenance issues. Just received a charge to my bank account from the hotel for $30, don't know what the charge is for (stayed there over a week ago). Will be calling to dispute it. Won't be staying again.

Wow such an awesome place to stay the night at. Laundry, swimming, hot tub, breakfast, tea and coffee ready. Amazing shower. Such a clean place as well. Friendly people even when they are new and have no idea where the extra towels are. We loved it.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and nice furniture. We enjoyed the hotel pool and appreciated that it was open until 11pm. All of the staff was friendly. I was very frustrated that breakfast cost $10.95. While it was a fairly nice meal that is simply way too much to charge for breakfast. I would not have eaten there if my Father-in-law had not offered to pay for it. Overall the experience was pleasant.

Great hospitality. My wife works there and when I go in to pick her up they always offer me drinks and something to snake on. Even allow me to enjoy their inside pool and hot tub but unfortunately I have not taken the up on that offer yet. All around great employees! They even know me by name and greet me when I come in.

Nice hotel clean and neat rooms.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels recently. (6 different in 8 weeks) The Hilton Garden Inn in Joplin was the most expensive, but lowest quality. The staff wasn't as helpful as other places. Their breakfast used to be complimentary, but they've recently made it $11. Rooms were FINE… I thought I was paying a little more to receive NICE rooms. Next time I'm in Joplin for work, I'm staying somewhere else.

Having our family Christmas here. Staff, especially Bobby, very accommodating. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and reasonable price. A big thanks to Christine for the special attention she showed our grand kids.

I ask to moved to another room because the walls were beat up and the bedspreads appeared dirty. The second room was the same. I am on a cross country road trip by myself and wanted to enjoy my meal in my room. The meal was expensive and arrive cold.

The staff at this hotel is amazing! The nicest staff I've ever run across! It's close to many restaurants and shopping. Clean and quiet rooms also! 5 stars!

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn awhile back and it was very nice. The front desk agent was extremely friendly and helpful. I do not recall Her name but she was tall with brown hair and a pink and blue headband. I will return to the hotel because of Her. Its not to often you get that great of serves.

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn in Joplin was outstanding and I appreciate everything they had done for me. All of my needs were met and I was just pleased with my stay. Kenzie was an outstanding front desk worker, she always greeted me with a smile on her face and was very welcoming. Christopher the general manager was great, he was a very nice guy. I will be visiting this place again. Very Nice.

I recently stayed at this hotel and to be quite frank I had an experience that could have been a sour one but the management, specifically Chris Beyer, did a exceptional job of handling my situation and it really did impress me. This location is one that genuinely has a commitment to it's guests to have a excellent experience. I will stay at this specific property every time I'm in Joplin as they have earned a loyal customer after their wonderful customer service.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in this year. And I travel for a living.
