My family and I stayed at this location on Friday, May 11. The room was clean and the breakfast was decent, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up with backaches. The biggest issue was the fact that there was a group of guests using the pool and outdoor patio area until after midnight. I called the front desk a few minutes before 10pm, pool closing, to ask them to ask the group to keep it down, the children were screaming at the top of their lungs and it had already been going on for over an hour. The pool closed at 10 and at 10:30 the noise continued. I went down to the front desk, no one was there, so I went to the pool and asked one of the adults to please keep it down, she said they would be quiet. I went back to the front desk to let the staff know I had spoken with the group, but that she needed to enforce the pool closing time. At midnight, the group still going strong at the pool patio area, I called the front desk again to ask her to have them leave the area. The staff person said "I was just down there and they are not being that loud. " I responded by saying I had been asking for them to be quiet for over 2 hours and that it was midnight. The noise soon ended after that. It was not appropriate for the staff person to state that the other guests were not being that loud. Obviously someone else had complained about the noise for her to have been down there speaking with them before I called the final time. It's not the hotel's fault that there were noisy guests, but it is the hotel's fault for not asking the guests to vacate the area when it was supposed to be closed for the evening.
