It's a two star hotel, and you get what you get. A 4th floor room with an elevator that sometimes just didn't work, a hard bed, and an air conditioner that always got the temperature down to about still 4 degrees too warm to sleep decently before it kicked out. Also you get to pay a $50 damage deposit in case you trash the room.

The hotel is very old and the furniture, carpet and especially the bed needs to be replaced. Its too overpriced for the ghetto room and miserable old bed. I could have slept on the sidewalk and would have probably been more comfortable. In addition to the pricey room rate they charge a $50 deposit that they keep for almost 2 weeks after you check out.

Breakfast place was shabby in a makeshift room without proper breakfast, there was waffle pancake maker but it was not working very few fruits and not fresh. Parking isn't enought due to construction. The rooms in casinos are better option.

The walkways and floor of the room were dirty. Not only was the elevator broken, but another customer there was stuck inside when we arrived. Emergency personnel were called and when they arrived they said this was an ongoing problem. The on-site manager was neither helpful nor kind to the gentleman traumatized by the experience. Later in the evening police officers were on the premises for unknown reasons. We paid for three people and when there were only two towels, we called the front desk and requested a third. We were told they'd bring it right up, but never did. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a helicopter. I will pay a bit more to stay somewhere else in the future.

Room was fine BUT they took my deposit instead of refunding my money. And now I can not get a response. I will be calling my bank and disputing this charge. You are lucky I am 900 miles away this is BS!

Dirty towels in the room. Coffee maker was dirty and had spilled coffee crusted on the maker. There were no filters provided for the coffee maker. Complimentary shampoo bottles were not replaced after previous guests and had been used. Maids were cursing in front of guests while they cleaned linens. 3/4 times I tried to see the manager or talk to someone at the front desk, the door was locked and no one was there. We couldn't even check out because no one was there.

Do NOT stay here unless you are EXTREMELY desperate, as we were last night at 1 am after driving for 14 hours. Even then, we would have been better off sleeping in our car. The woman at the front desk was rude from the start and quoted us a price much higher than what I had seen online. I asked if she would match the online price and she said no. Since we are on the last stretch of a 2 week road trip and on a budget, I asked how long it would take for the reservation to come through if I booked online. She said about 15 min so we sat down and I began booking online. After I hit "submit" on the last page, I got a message saying "Travelodge is not currently accepting reservations through this site". I used to work in the hotel industry so I knew full well that she had disabled online reservations for that third party site so that we would have to pay the higher rate directly to the hotel. We were exhausted and every decent hotel was booked, so we just paid and went to our room. I was not prepared for how vile and disgusting the room was. We immediately tore the beds apart and thankfully did not see any bugs, however, there were several long black hairs in one of the beds — between the sheets, under the pillows, everywhere. The other bed had yellow stains all over the mattress, mattress protector, sheets and comforter. The wall had a dried brown liquid dripping down it. The floors were covered in filth, dirt and crumbs. The bathroom had hair on the floor and in the tub.

Had a reservation when arrived there was no reservation, after they had called me to confirm hours prior of checking in. They were trying to charge full price, showed my email confirmation then they gave the room at the same price. No parking. I've stayed at Motel 6 and had better experiences.

Was going to give a better review but they were supposedly out of breakfast not even half way through breakfast listed time! Waffle maker was never even plugged in, had to ask for milk which the lady which was smoke blowing smoke into the breakfast room was very rude about getting more, so, no breakfast. The owner on here on other reviews that they are addressing the the problems but doesn’t seem to be nothing done… Should of read reviews before booking my room but I guess I was just tired!

Room was not exactly what I would consider clean. They were short handed on housekeeping staff, so the maintenance staff was covering for them. There was hair in the sink. The shampoo in the shower was 1/2 empty… which meant it was not replaced after the last person was staying in the room. I complained to the front desk and it was replaced. We paid a premium rate on this room, and I didn't feel like it was worth the amount of money we paid…

Staff was great. Breakfast was mediocre. The rest was sketchy but the price was right.

Checked in around 8 PM, was waited on the nicest person. My mom is handicap so we was instructed to park in handicap parking stall next to office no problem. We left came back to purple wig wearing witch, who is apparently mad at her life. She is parked in handicap stall no handicap sticker or plate. And tells me she ain't moving and then told me that I didn't want none? Want none of what? Oh, she was threatened me so flamboyantly I was in awe. African American lady, and so am I. Well since I felt like she was ready to fight me cause I said I was calling the police, I went on and identified myself, as a officer from Sacramento Deputy Sheriff department. Her response was she didn't give a @$%&? Wow, really? Well never again, don't stay her unless u are ready to fight… Sad how people are so miserable in their lives.

I just stayed with a group we got 3 rooms, the front desk clerk was doing the best but was having issues the she called the manager and the manager arrived in minutes and was very polite and VERY nice and her attentiveness to us was Great! I will go back to Travelodge because of the manager she fixed the problem and got us on our way offered apologies and made feel that we were very important. I was very impressed with the manager and how helpful she was. We understand that the clerk is new and she did the best.

Awesome stay. Close to everything very nice staff.

Never go here there are bedbugs cockroaches and mice just never this review is real.

Location is really good. That’s all. The breakfast is few and run out quickly. TV screen is not clear.

Travelodge in reno was a nice place, we stayed one night, there was plenty of room 2 queen size beds and the place was clean.

More or less very expensive for what you really Ofresse.

I did not like the room the beds were dirty the carpets were black and the beds smelled ugly and they charge as if they were 5 star hotel

Fast service but the room wasn't Put extra effort to clean floor was So sticky they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the room plus the window are so dusty. But the employee are sweet And nice.

This a budget type hotel that caters to a family, it's clean, comfortable, and offers breakfast too. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival we had found out our reservations had been canceled. The front desk lady was very nice and made sure we got a room anyways. Once we got into the room I checked the beds for bed bugs and there werent any. The linen smelt like each witch I have no problems with. All bedding was very clean. We did not have any towels but they brought us some. You can tell house keeping is lazy because they didnt even wipe the counters. I would stay again because of the awesome staff and clean beds but I realy suggests new training on the cleaning staff.

Do NOT stay here! Creepiest place I've stayed in my life. The place is surround by drug addicts. Police sirens all night. Beds are about to fall apart and rooms smell horrid. Stay away!

I really can't blame the employees of this hotel. Out of 4 front desk staff there's only the breakfast girl and the night girl that know what there doing. Bad attitude from the new manager towards fellow management employees, housekeeping and the poor girl at the front desk. There is nothing about this manager that portraits TRAVELODGE. The only time I seen her out of the office was to tell for a member of her team to go look at a room and to smoke outside. Does she smoke in the rooms? I mean she smokes in the elevator. Maybe that's why my room smelt like smoke. Hint manager its a smoke free hotel. I have nothing good to speak about this hotel. The staff is overworked and under paid. There is one good thing about this hotel and it's the breakfast girl. The hardest working person I now. It was a challenge for her to get food for breakfast but regardless of all her running and serving she always had a smile and was ready to help the next person even the manager lady. Thanks a girl for all seasons your the reason we're coming back in November. Hopefully by then you will be advanced in this poorly managed property.

Very impressive customer service. Definitely going to train my team to be just like these guys. Made me feel very welcomed and I loved how comfortable my bed was, never wanted to leave! literally missed check out time lol. Thanks guys be back in November.

Staff was absolutely incredible, also very happy with breakfast a lot comes included did not expect them to have a waffle maker and my favorite fruit. Usually, hotel breakfast is plain. SO im grateful it came with the price saved me a my family money. Thank you!

If I could I wouldnt give them any stars, rooms smell really bad, so many twekers, rooms where dirty sink full of hair tub had soap scum it was disgusting and its to over priced. If you love your family and self look elsewhere.

Was the worst experience ever checkt in for 2 nights, 3 days fist day we get their got a room with broken beed and toilet, and fleas in room they had to give us a new room same day. Next day we go out for the day we come back to room and our stuff is gone, and some one els was in our room. They had checkd us out and went through our stuff and stold my tablet. Will never go back and will tell all my fam and friends not to go their either. As I was talking to management about their issues other customer kept coming in to make complaints abot ther rooms.

Horrible service booked two nights then they grabbed our stuff and moved it to another room to give our room to another group and tablet is missing as well. DO NOT recommend.

Worst hotel experience of my life! Someone was arrested, we found drug paraphernalia, dirty, little sleep. I didn't feel safe.

The worst place in my life! It was ouful! Bad place bad room! Don't waste your money here.

Overpriced and poor service hot tub chemicals so strong turned my silver rings black and burned my eyes would not recommend.

Don't even think about it. Run the other way. The noisiest, dirtiest and smelliest motel.

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at. For $100 a night I would expect a little more than a broken mattress, dirty sheets, old soap and a hairball in the bathroom and a room that vibrates anytime a truck passes outside. The bathroom sink was somehow elegant and totally out of place.

The price seemed comparable to the casinos next door, except I found out the casinos charge a "resort" fee when you check in, something like 20$. Unfortunately, I don't have many good thing to say about this place. But I got what I payed for; a very cheap hotel in a popular area. If you like living in section 8 housing then this place is right up your ally. The other half of the building is owned by another hotel which must be dirt cheap as I heard people shouting all hours of the night. The main road outside was very busy and noisy. The fire department was close by and used this road often. The first room I was given smelled like pot and the smoke detector was missing. The other room they gave me was ok, the floor was just dirty like they did not vacuum very will. I would not stay here again.

Stayed here many years ago an do not remember it being as bad. Staff was friendly enough. The ac did not do much to cool the room unless you were right next to it. The shower/tub was disgusting, the shower curtain was molded and there was scum on the bottom of the tub. The TV's reception was fuzzy. The thought of a continental breakfast was good, although the waffle maker was broken. The ice machine was not working at the time either. Will not stay here again.

Decided to try this place out despite the reviews and was highly disappointed. Was kind of put off by the type of people hanging out all around the place when we pulled up but still went to check in and walked into the office to be greeted by someone who acted like they were too high to focus what was going on. Went up to the room and it was even more disappointing the jacuzzi tub looked like you could get a disease from it, the bathroom door would scrape every time you tried to close it, the toilet seat (despite being a non smoking room) had burn marks on it and the bathroom door looked like it had been punched through and they just screwed another board on top of it. We decided to stay the night because we were only there overnight and would be there a minimal amount of our stay… we should have just asked for a refund because when we woke up the toilet in our room didn't even work and I left and checked out at 7AM because I had to use the restroom and just parked at silver legacy and walked around the casinos the rest of our stay. Steer clear people.

This was an experience. It all started at check in, the lobby seemed nice and so was the receptionist, except for the blood. Yes, I said blood. There it was, staring at me during the whole check in process. I thought this is what a crime scene clue might look like… but it got worse. I went up the evelevator and feltbshaking and buckling the whole way up. I walked across the short pathway hanging off the edge hoping it would not give way. Finally I entered my room to my relief, I survived so far. I jumped onto my bed in a sigh of relief only to find myself rolling to the floor… the bed was a trap? It seemed someone forgot to secure the bed to the frame. I figured tomorrow would reveal something less life threatening. When I awoke I open my drapes to see two meth heads and they seemed to dance in the early morning light, unable to hold still from the drugs coursing through their system. That was the final straw, this place is one step away from being on the morning news for the wrong reasons.

Love the location right off the freeway. I also thought the staff was incredible. Would not mind booking here in the future.

Love the location, it is right down the street from movie theater, bars, and restaurant. I didn't have to pay for any transportation. Not to mention, the staff was spectacular.

It's a nice hotel in an ok area o f town. It's fairly close to everything.

I just stayed for a simple overniter. It was one of the most affordable options in the area, and while you do get what you pay for it was totally serviceable especially for a short trip.

It was a nice place for the price. I got a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarette smoke upon entering. The room looked basic (you get what you pay for). The bathroom door had several patches as if someone had punched several hole in. There was no microwave, fridge, ect everything was provided at the check in office. All in all it was a good hotel to be in for the price.

Staff very friendly and breakfast was great for it to be continental. My room seemed to very upgraded and way better then expected. Will stay here again especially for the price.

Older hotel that is trying it's best to be better. The Wifi was spotty but the carpet was new and clean. The sink and granite top in the bathroom was nice but the bed had a lump in it. I like staying here because of the reward points and the hotel being cheaper than the other options nearby.
