The location is wonderful plus there’s free parking. The staff here is so friendly and helpful! Everything is clean and so cleverly decorated! It’s just adorable.

Checked in after traveling and they charged my card the machine froze and said my card was not charged so I swiped another card per her request. Go to my room check my accounts and both cards were charged. I then call downstairs and she said assistant manager will be in tomorrow ugh.

Just stayed here for the first time for the weekend and we will definitely be back! Our room was huge, beautiful, cozy, and quiet. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Leonce in the lobby is awesome! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent hotel located on the edge of the Garden District close enough to downtown (we were at our destinations within 5-10mins). Trolley stop right in front of hotel. Room was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Loved the shower! Couldn’t hear any other guests around you/below you which was super nice. The whole hotel was super snazzy!

Right on the trolley line. Within walking distance to restaurants, stores and other hotels, Rooms are spacious and Relaxing, very little noise and the staff was very good.

Cute little hotel! Needed a place to stay on our way to Fort Walton. Didn’t want the hassle of French Quarter. Clarion directly on trolley stop. Easy access, great room. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This was my first stay here but will definitely not be my last! The amazing staff knows New Orleans well and are willing to share their knowledge. Every recommendation they gave me was genuinely a pleasure and made my trip that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits New Orleans. You won't be sorry!

The hotel seems dirty from the outside appearance, but the inside is very clean and nice. The rooms are big and neat. The hotel is right on the trolley line which makes it convenient to get around the city.

The room and service was great and helpful with tips about things to do in the city. Housekeeping did a great job. Only drawback is the breakfast is really sub par and doesn't live up to the billing on their website.

This hotel was just fine for our three-day stay in New Orleans. It's right on the St. Charles trolley line, making it easier to catch a ride into the French Quarter. The bed was comfortable and the hotel clean. The breakfast area was small, with not a whole lot of seating available. Most hotels in the area charge for parking, and the "Valet" parking here was overly expensive, in my view. Even so, we would stay here again. Loved the Smoothie place just down the street. Easy walk into Garden District and one of the old Cemeteries.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for a bit more than a long weekend stay. As our first time to New Orleans, we weren't sure about the location, but it seemed reasonable and the value appeared to be appropriate. We were happy to find out that the location was very good. For someone happy to walk, it is within walking distance of the convention centers and feasible to walk to the French Quarter. Though the street car was truly the way to get to/from the French Quarter — which included a stop immediately in front of the hotel. The hotel did seem to be a bit short staffed during our stay, though the willingness to help from the front desk made up for a few problems. That being said, I may have been a bit forgiving for having to plunge a toilet myself, one that apparently had preexisting issues and continuously ran, causing an overflow in the bathroom while we were out. Breakfast was simple but appreciated. There were a couple decent restaurants nearby and a very nice coffee shop a few doors down. Though I would highly recommend making your way to the French Quarter for great restaurants and entertainment.

We stayed for two nights at the Clarion and the beds were comfortable with the rooms very clean. The parking is not easily accessible if you have to park on the second level and have a large vehicle. Also, the outside of the hotel could use an update or at the very least maintenance. I would still recommend staying here as the staff was very helpful and friendly.

My reason for the visit was for dining at the Copeland's cheese cake bistro connected to the hotel. The food was amazing, and the appetizers were also good… The desserts, especially the cheese cake are really really good… The overall atmosphere were comfortable and welcoming. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because customer service can be a little bit better.

Good location. Walkable to WWII museum and if you're back walker, then you can even get to the French Quarter. Rooms are larger, probably refurbed not that long ago. Bathrooms could use a little help. Cheaper than the better names, but it's a bed and it worked.

Real gem of a find. Centrally located to attend a wedding on St Charles — just across street from church & a block from reception at Eiffel Society. Good hot breakfast; wonderfully friendly, helpful staff & comfortable, spacious room. Right on streetcar line with a stop in front of hotel. Very accommodating to my 80+ parents too.

Rooms were good and large. The restaurant attached was very good. So was the staff at the desk. The elevator though? Not so great. Barely worked. We got stuck a few times and had to wait a long time for it. We couldn't find the the stairs that easily either.

My wife and I are in town for her reconstructive breast surgery and this hotel is partnered with the Reconstructive Breast Center of NOLA. The rate is discounted and they were gracious enough to upgrade the room to the suite with a jacuzzi tube and balcony. I big thanks for making my wife more comfortable before her surgery. The only reason for 4 stars is because the room needs a little TLC. The caulking around the tube is coming off. The Keurig coffee pot was not working the TV has Closed Caption on and I can't get it turned off. Went to the desk and notified the staff that was working. She come up ASAP to check the TV out and was not able to figure out how to turn the CC off. Said she would notify the morning staff. When I realized the coffee pot was not working, I took it to the desk and asked about if the knew about the TV. They looked at me like a deer in the headlights. It is annoying trying to relax before surgery and watch TV with words scrolling across it the whole time. All of the settings on the TV are locked and I understand why but when the staff don't know how to fix it, it is a problem. Overall, we enjoyed staying here for the location proximity to the hospital and everything around. We will stay here again for her phase 2 Surgery.

It was a very nice Boutique Hotel right on St Charles with a Streetcar stop right outside the front. The staff were very helpful in suggestions.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The location is a bit sketchy but has plenty of restaurants around. Would recommend since it is affordable.

Great place to the stay and the service was amazing. The only issue is the street car noise at night but it wasn't that bad.

The location and balcony can't be beat, but the walls are VERY thin and we could hear EVERYTHING from the folks next door. The space needs to be updated (we had a leaky tub faucet) but it's stylish and comfortable. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful! We had a great time and it was perfect for our trip, we just wished the room was quieter.

Staff at Wyndom resort pointed this place out. Great food. It is called the Cheesecake Cafe. It is like a hidden secret. The locals place. Our waiter was the best.

I thought that the room was very beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was horrible. I have never ate food that was so bad at a hotel. I have had better breakfast at a motel. There were pre cooked eggs that were from a frozen box. Then they were microwaved horrible. This was the same as the horrible pork sausage and waffles. You guys need to do better. It's New Orleans for Christ sakes.

Rooms were big. Make sure you pull the curtains because you can be easily seen from the high rise hotel next door. That hotel has a rooftop bar with a great view of the city and its right next door. Also food was pretty good at the restaurants nearby. All in all not a bad choice.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and in a lovely part of town. It's nice to take an early morning or late evening stroll and just soak up the new orleans vibe. The hotel is right next to an old diner/cafe called the Trolley Stop Cafe that has excellent diner food and amazing service and is open 24 hours. The hotel is also attached to Copelands (best biscuits ever). When we made our reservations we made a mistake and accidentally booked for the following weekend. We didn't realize this until we were about 30 minutes from the hotel (after a 4 hour drive). At first they said "sorry, we're booked" but just a few minutes later called and said "wait, we have a room! ". We were very relieved that they worked to make room for us. We will definitely return!

Drinks were pricey as is expected in place like this but they were unexpectedly well prepared. Classic old fashioned was enjoyable. Good stop if passing through.

The customer service is great. The hotel is an older one and isn't spectacular, but it's kept up very well and is a good place to stay. I wish it had a pool.

Last-minute decision to stay a night in our hometown. Jeffrey, the hip and knowledgeable manager, booked us a balcony room, comped our parking and made us feel like a million damn dollars. We never left the jacuzzi except for morning coffee on the balcony. Huge, comfortable room. Cannot wait to come back. Thanks to the friendly staff.

This hotel was perfect, located at a street car stop, only 10 minute ride to French Quarter. The desk staff were so kind and helpful. The lobby was plain so unsure what to expect of the rooms. We were greatly pleased with the huge rooms supplied with fridge and micro wave and nicely decorated. The attached Bistro Cheesecake Restaurant was phenomenal, we personally complemented the chef for his work. It is conveniently located near additional restaurants and a convenience store. We will definitely make a return visit to New Orleans and stay at the Clarion Boutique.

This Clarion is ideal because u will enjoy the quiet for sleeping. Drivers who desire their rest, will get rest. There are pharmacy and eateries very close. Trolley is just outside. The staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean.

We had a wonderful experience at the Clarion Grand Hotel Boutique in New Orleans. Our room was very nice, but the customer service we received was the best we had ever experienced! The reception staff was friendly and helpful, especially Chasity. They went above and beyond to make our visit to New Orleans enjoyable. Any problem we had (which were all very minor and happens at almost every hotel) was immediately taken care of. They even offered to move us to a different room which we thought was unnecessary, but we appreciated the staff's immediate responses to make sure we were happy. Our room was quiet, we never heard any outside noise and I loved the huge flat screen TV in the room, instead of the standard smaller one usually found in hotel rooms. We didn't use the coffee maker that was available, but the refrigerator was on and cold when we arrived and spacious for a hotel fridge. The area around the hotel was great, trolley car stop right outside the hotel, tons of restaurants and a mini-mart and Walgreens easily within walking distance.

Chassity the front desk attendant was EXCELLENT she was very helpful and gave us great places to eat h and hang out. The room was great. The only thing the towels were hard but the overall experience for the hotel and staff was great. Will return to stay when I return to New Orleans.

Super cute hotel nestled in a quiet neighborhood just south of the city. The property is literally footsteps away from a St. Charles Avenue streetcar stop. This provides easy access to inexpensive transport to and from the French Quarter and Riverwalk. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, and an in-house restaurant are just a few of the amenities which help make this a great choice in the Garden District. The complimentary breakfast is adequate, containing the typical hotel fare of cereal, baked goods and juices, along with three hot choices: a low-quality scrambled egg product, french toast sticks, and alternating pig products (bacon and sausage). No turkey-based options, nor any non-dairy milk for cereal and coffee. The adjoining restaurant, Cheesecake Bistro, provides a variety of local-ish offerings, with a quality equal to the ordinary casual dining chain restaurant. Be prepared to spend some extra time while there, as the entire staff displays no sense of urgency when it comes to service. Courteous, yes. Speedy, no. (In fact, our server offered to comp our dessert, to apologize for what seemed to be a universal "lack of hustle" throughout the establishment) The room was clean and current, as far as bedding and decor were concerned, with ample channels on the large television and multiple, strong Wi-Fi connections. The only cleanliness complaint is a minor one, a bathroom air vent in need of a quick wipe-down. Overall, a wonderful choice for your next stay in The Big Easy.

This place was awesome. I travel about a ton for work (About 75-100 nights a year). I've stayed at every type of hotel. And this was unique so I figured lets give this a shot. The bedroom was huge and the hallways were pretty cool, great Wi-Fi, great clean bed, and bathroom with a huge bathtub. People at the front desk, the bar and the valet guys were super amazing, very nice staff. Had a great view of Saint Charles Ave. Across the street is a little breakfast cafe that is open 24/7 offering a great breahfast at a ridicliously low price, just excellent vibe all around. Worth looking into if your coming down to the Big Easy and wanting to try a new hotel.

This is a clean, quiet, hotel in a good location and with very accommodating staff. We stayed in two different rooms before and after a cruise. Its located just at the edge of the Garden District and you can walk along St. Charles to view the historic homes and buildings. In fact, the City Tours pass the hotel. We had two meals at the Cheesecake Bistro, which you enter from the hotel lobby, and enjoyed them. The continental breakfast served in the hotel lobby is fairly basic. Both rooms that we stayed in were very clean, the beds comfortable, and there were new big screen TVs. The only noises we could hear were church bells. There was a coffeemaker, fridge, and microwave in the rooms. Taxi fare to the Julia Street Pier is $14. The fare to the airport is $33. However, trolleys and buses run on St. Charles and you catch them in front of the hotel. We rode the bus to the French Quarter, since the trolley line is currently under repair. Senior citizen fare is 40 cents, regular adult fare is $1.25. If you prefer taxis, the front desk will call for you and the taxis seem to arrive almost instantly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
