Highly recommend! Beautiful place!

Every time I come to stay is a comfort away from home. The hotel staff is kind and courteous. The park view across hotel is beautiful and neighborhood is a delight to see!

The Hotel was Ok. Room was Clean but the Room clearly needed a update. Hodgepodge of dated hotel furniture. Bathroom shower door wouldn't stay closed when showering, A large crack on the outside wall along the shower was very noticeable, you had to reach under the bathroom vanity cabinet sink to open and close the sink stopper. The Hotel staff were friendly but two were aloof. I asked for bottled water, but the girl behind the front desk said there was a water dispenser and cups in the dinning room. I ended up walking to the Walgreens a mile or so on Carrollton Ave to buy a bottle of water. Every hotel I've stayed at had bottled water, for guests, Ugh. This is a one time stay for me.

The Guest House is absolutely lovely. The breakfast was amazing and it is perfectly situated right by the Trolley and the park! You will not be let down by this fine establishment!

Wonderful place to kick back and enjoy yourself while in New Orleans.

My husband and I stayed there for our 40th anniversary. The charm and personality of the hotel and it’s staff exhibited the warmth and southern hospitality that New Orleans is known for. We are locals born and raised in New Orleans and find this hotel a great getaway weekend. We will definitely return!

It sits on St Charles Ave by a Streetcar stop and it sits almost literally on the NW corner of Audubon Park. Staff thoughtfulness down to the smallest detail … anticipating individual needs … amazing breakfast … views… It's an old historical building with historical mood and historical furniture And modern comfort. Also cleanest place ever! My biggest problem is that I now live in New Orleans and have fewer reasons to stay.

We filled the hotel for a family wedding weekend 3/13-15, 2020, with many of us arriving throughout the week before. It was a wonderful time, all the staff was helpful, breakfast yummy and being all together in such a lovely place really added to our celebration at the nearby Audubon Tea Room. The location was quiet, but convenient to uptown restaurants or the trolley to go to the French Quarter. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Park View Hotel during Halloween and loved it. Exceptional hospitality from the staff and a great location! And not to mention the excellent insider tips from Laurie :-)

Having grown up in NOLA, I would pass this hotel but had never been inside. My daughter got married a few weeks ago, and we filled every room with family and friends for the weekend! After the rehearsal dinner and reception, It was so much fun coming back to what felt like our home; we set up a bar and food and the party continued for those who wanted to visit more. We had the two suites and room in the same area for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Had space for makeup and hair people. It was amazing getting to share the whole day with family and friends who wanted to come by the rooms, have a glass of champagne and wish the bride good luck. She loved it! Everyone who works here was wonderful; always making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was different every day, but always delicious. We plan on staying here when we go back to NOLA as are our friends and family! THANKS FOR MAKING JENNIFER’S WEDDING WEEKEND PERFECT!

What a wonderful stay! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. As soon as you walk in the door their warm, gracious, hospitality is felt. There was a beautiful view of the park and an awesome breakfast too! We will be back!

Most pleasant and authentic New Orleans experience!

I was so looking forward to staying here after seeing the photos online of the hotel. What a disappointment. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was on the phone and basically ignored us until she was done with her conversation. When we told her we were checking in she told us our room was on the second floor but when I made the reservation I was told I would be on the first floor. Nevertheless she did show us to our room on the second floor and it was awful. There was no dresser in the room at all. All the photos had beautiful four poster beds and canopies, this had a squeaky wrought iron bed with only one broken nightstand. When I told the woman it was unacceptable she said she had no other rooms take it or leave it. Really? Unfortunately we had to stay because I wasn’t spending half the day looking for another place to go but that was the start of our trip. The room was very small and did not even have a luggage stand for our bags! We had to leave the luggage on the floor with our clothes zipped inside. The entire stay, the owner was nowhere in sight. When we checked in the nasty woman handed us a card with a PIN number and said there was no night staff after 7, and we had to use the code to get inside. We were on our own until 7 the next morning. How helpful. The website talks about all these antiques the owner collected but since she was nowhere to be found there was no one to ask about them. They could all be reproductions for how much we knew.

We went to Park View in conjunction with a wedding. The bride and groom were staying there and loved it. As a member of the bridal party, I was not an over night guest, but had a room there to get ready. Rooms and bathrooms were gorgeous and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating of a wedding party that included children. Coffee and soft drinks were available the entire time and we were welcome to the breakfast even though we did not stay the night.

What a wonderful Guest House in the prominent Uptown/Audubon Park neighborhood of New Orleans! So inviting and warm and quintessential of the New Orleans style. Streetcar right outside the front door to get you to the French Quarter in about 30 minutes. Lovely breakfast with all you could eat food and drink and beverages and snacks including beer, wine and soft drinks every evening. Keurig coffee stations for guests on every level which was so nice. No elevator so be prepared for a good hike up if your room is on the 3rd floor, but we had help with our bags, just ask. Will definitely book here again!

The best b&b ever. Great service, great rooms, great decor, and awesome complementary amenities. Loved the wine and snacks. Loved the views from the porch. Loved the neighborhood.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very nice. I was there for a wedding and my family had the second floor to ourselves and the staff was very polite and patient with us all. I want to bring my partner there at some point for a few nights when we can so he can see it all.

I absolutely Loved Our stay here at the guest house. They were very nice and all the staff were very helpful. Such a great location in the heart of New Orleans. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I talk to.

We enjoyed a five night stay at the Park View. The owner and help were quite friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was generally good always with some special treat like eggs Benedict or hot blueberry maple bread. However the thawed frozen pastries detracted from a generally tasty morning breakfast experience.

My wife and I spent one night at this amazing historical place. We felt right at home. Service is second to none. Highly recommend it.

Great air conditioning for one it was almost painful coming into the hotel after sweating on a walk. Awesome place though with parking and food nearby. Bed was comfy breakfast food was good staff were helpful.

In New Orleans, the Park View Guess House will forever be our Home, away from home, and what an honor it is to stay in such an historic hotel, right in the heart of the beautiful Garden District, of New Orleans, on St. Charles Ave. It was just fabulous!
I, Arthur W. Sarkis, my wife, Milka and my daughter, Michelle, were absolutely, Over The Moon, with gratitude and very humbled by the utmost respectful concern and care for all the Park View Guess. The Park View management is very very professional, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about all the sites and places to dine at, this side of the Grand Mississippi River.
