Freakin loved this spot. Rad common areas, plenty of amenities, chic and exciting atmosphere. A+

I wouldn't have minded the condition of the room for the price but when I brought up the dirty pillow the staff was rude. I inquired about a refund because 4 people left our party to get a hotel because the amenities were bad. Aside from being dirty, 2 toilets didn't flush and I reserved a room for 10 and somehow one of my guests ended up in a separate room and we had to share with a stranger. The staff with the tats on his face at check in was nice and helpful, the guy with the man bun was RUDE. My suggestion is spend the extra money on air bnb or hotel, PS parking was 30 bucks a day at their garage, NOT included or advertised!

I had a fantastic stay on my short trip to New Orleans! The staff were welcoming and fun to chat with. Miranda rules!

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, events every night, plus free beer which is always a bonus. The place was modern and clean, bathrooms were fab, so private. Location is fab, I would for sure recommend to those in their twenties who are travelling!

First time staying in a hostel and was the best experience! Don’t think a lot of places can match the friendliness of the people here. Nice community! Bang in the middle of everything. If I ever come to New Orleans again this will definitely be the place I stay!

Nola's City House has a really good set up — great atmosphere consistently all the time I was there. Everyone on the team is super friendly, helpful and knows fun stuff to suggest in the area, and nightly outings to different places are a great way to meet people when you arrive. Mike's especially on it and was fantastic taking us round Bourbon St & the area. Amenities are all on point too: plenty of bathrooms, big common area all in one place and decent kitchen.

I stayed at the City House Hostel during my vacation in the city (which was about 2 weeks). This was probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The room I stayed in was nice (common hostel room, bunk beds and lockable drawers). What made this hostel remarkable, were the people and the common areas. The common areas were always clean (staff was constantly cleaning and improving stuff). There is a VERY comfortable couch with people watching TV all the time. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped. The staff members host an event every evening and everyone is welcome to join them. I joined them a few times and had lots of fun. After staying there I felt like I was leaving home. All I can say is — thank you!

This was the best hostel that I have ever stayed in! Amazing staff! The common area was huge and super comfortable. Tons of bathrooms. The nightly activities were amazing and they were free!

This hostel was a ton of fun! Mia and Scott (? the guy who says he loves New Orleans more than anyone) were great hosts and extremely helpful with suggestions of local spots to check out. I found it pretty cool that there was a hostel event schedule, with a group activity everyday. I went on a bar crawl twice during my stay. I really liked the set up of the bathroom space. Each stall was fully private with shower and toilet in each. The bathrooms were kept clean. Next time I hope to take advantage of the open space kitchen. It was beautiful with granite counters! Thank you for making my first New Orleans experience a memorable one!

I really liked this hostel. I found it very clean. They changed the hand towels twice a day in the bathrooms (odd thing to observe I know) which I really appreciated! They have events every night! Great place to meet people! The staff are very helpful and friendly!

What a great experience — the staff is fun and really made an effort to know my name and make me feel at home. I was greeted at the door "welcome back! " whenever I walked in. I arrived at 1am, which didn't seem to be a problem for them at all. I stayed in a mixed 12 bed room, and everyone was respectful. The duvet covers are comfortable, everything was clean, and I was given a towel that dried fast and worked great. Every night they have happy hour from 9-10 (1 free beer per night! ) and go out on the town in a group. Rock and Roll night wasn't quite my jam (turns out I was in a Piano mood) but I got to talk to a couple people I wouldn't have otherwise! I was there a couple nights early for a Bachelorette party, and was scouting out some places to eat/drink when the girls got there. The staff were ready with really stellar recommendations for food, music, etc. I took them up on a few of those, and had some of the best jambalaya and jazz I've ever had (and I've been to New Orleans a few times). Finally, the location is perfect! The first day I walked down Burgundy toward Jackson Square, and the architectural beauty of the French Quarter hit me right in the heart. Thanks for a great couple of nights!

If you are ever in New Orleans, you need to stay here! The location is great, the atmosphere magnetic, the rooms and common spaces spotless, and they host cool events around the city EVERY NIGHT. However, the best thing about this location is its staff. I know that I will miss: Mia's charming and witty conversations, Clayton's sweet guitar skills, Jay's down to earth, yet mysterious chats, & Richard’s charisma and endless list of recommendations. These people made NOLA feel like home. Thank you!

Was a perfect spot for a girls trip to New Orleans! In Great location and Walking distance to Bourbon St and Riverfront! Meet great people and it is encouraged to socialize with other guests! They have events every night and happy hour in the common area! Staff was great and friendly and seemed to constantly be cleaning! Recommend bringing your own pillow as theirs was pretty flat and a washcloth as one was not provided!

It was a very nice place to stay. Cool and helping staff. I stay during the celebrations of nola fest. I love to stay their. During my stay many time they offer happy hour drinks (free of cost). Over all it is very cool place for me.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and I'm telling you I had the best time of my life. I met a young woman here who told me that she has stayed in hostels all throughout the world and she says this is the best one. The staff is absolutely amazing, very involved. I really like how the room was so dark, much easier to sleep. And the location here is absolutely amazing, in the heart of the French Quarter.
