Very low quality place, the refrigerator didnt work at all and I know it's new Orleans but there were literally prostitutes in the parking lot. I only stayed here because I was super desperate for a place and I was beyond exhausted from driving around nola trying to find a hotel/motel that would let someone under 21 get a room.

This place is not worth $100 per night. When my wife got out of the car to pay for the reservation I saw things that were unbecoming. Prostitutes were there, people hanging out, whoever had the room above us walked the floor all night. There was no phone in the room, When I asked for a iron it was broken up, and the bathtub and sink held water. When checking in, I had to ask the owner were we going to be safe.

Warning some strong language* the only reason I'm giving this 1 star is because I can't give it less. Please save yourself the trouble and don't bother with this shit hole. I reserved this hotel on hotels. Com for our long travel across the country spent $80 for the 7 hours we would be sleeping here. I knew it would be cheap and not much but when I walked into our "non-smoking room" I wanted to throw up from the smell of stale cigaretts and piss. My poor 3 year old with severe asthma could barely breathe. I had to take gim out to the car and give him his meds. I went to confront the woman at the front desk and she basically was laughing in my face saying she wouldnt do anything and to call hotels. Com. I did, they called the hotel and spoke to the manager and only agreed to give me $30 back and no apoligies for my troubles. The smoking was the first thing to catch my attention. Then I noticed the holes in the walls and the dirty stained walls and door frames I walked into the bathroom and found pubes on the fucking toilet seat. Fuck this nasty shithole save your money and sleep in your car or hit up the cute super 8.2 miles west of this place. I had to fork out 200 bucks but atleast my 3 year old isn't going into the hospital because he cant breathe!

Nice owners and also nice rooms. Compared to the one I was staying at. They also kicked me out and didn't tell me I couldn't stay longer. Was gonna stay for a month at family inn but didnt happen. Family inn also didn't had a microwave, refrigerator, lamp table, the water from restroom was constantly running etc. Girl in front desk was also rude.

Very nasty here. You do not want to stay. I’m not from around there and it was bad vibes from just pulling in the parking lot. I will never ever attempt to call to book a room here. They need to shut it down but I guess people need somewhere to stay right? I give 0 stars. Horrible.

Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from this place. Like many others, I was lured here by the low price, but the cost of that low price was the WORST motel I have ever had the displeasure of staying. First, this motel is located in a pretty bad neighborhood that neither me nor my fiancee felt safe in. Next, when we got our room key it didnt work, so we had to go all the back to the front desk to get the issue resolved. After we finally got into our room, we were shocked to find out how utterly disgusting it was. There was hair and stains on the sheets, the mattress looked like it had never been cleaned, even the lamp shade was covered in filth. The bathrooms was even worse. There was what looked like piss and hair stuck on the toilet seat, and the bath tub was covered with some type of black mold. Absolutely unacceptable. No one should ever have to stay in such a filthy place. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra 15 or so dollars to stay at a much cleaner hotel.

This is the filthiest place I've ever had the misfortune of staying in. Motel 8 owners have more pride in their facility than these owners. The awful stench that permeates the room is one that I was unable to get used to. We had two beds BOTH beds were covered in hair and stains. I'm still trying to figure out how there was so much hair. Hair on the walls! The owners obviously cater to a very different clientele and we were not it. Not a safe location. My fiancé was constantly checking out the peephole. Horrible place. I almost feel for the people who have to live here. I slept in layers with the lights on. Its that kinda place. Even worse you can definitely find a hotel around the same price thats safer and cleaner.

The worst hotel. Locals live in the hotel. Loud. Stains and mold everywhere. Not a safe place, heard gunshots within 2 hours of falling asleep. The bed is comfortable and the people who own the place are nice. Everything else is a disaster. People were smoking crack in the parking lot and the car next to ours had all there tires gone in the morning. After all that went to take a hot shower before getting back on the road. Cold water that sprinkled… the towels covered in brown stains. So frustrating. Please if your a mom don't bring your kids here.

Pros: super soft beds, clean bathroom, also has a mirowave and fridge in room. Cons: we killed two roaches within 20 minutes of being in the room, someone had carved stuff into the walls, there was a dirty washcloth under one bed, people were honking and yelling all night (not their fault but like really) It served it purpose as somewhere for us to sleep but I'll pay $20 more next time for somewhere that doesn't have roaches.

It was the worse experience ever! Room was hot, there were 2 big roaches that I killed in our room. A car was honking for someone for 10 minutes at 2am. Someone was stomping above us all night. People yelling at each other. Fridge didn't work. Felt very unsafe for me and my daughter. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Unless your on drugs or hooking, you will lover it. For normal people with families, please keep away unless you live on the edge n want to be killed in your sleep or have roaches crawling on you while you sleep. Worse $60 spent on a room in my 47 years of life!

No-frills, but comes with microwave, mini fridge (no freezer) and king sized bed. Free Wi-Fi, cable on flat screen TV. Convenience store directly across the street.

The management was very nice and helpful. The place was pretty clean and nice.

A little dirty and had a strange smell in the room but took our reservation quickly and was very inexpensive.

Its iight when you stay to yourself, I go to work, to the store across the street & back.

Disgusting and gross … druggies and thugs all live here not safe at all happy I left as fast as I pulled in.

Cigarette burns in the comforter. Loud music in the room upstairs. Not a safe place. Tagging carved in the walls. Beer bottle labels stuck the the side of the bed side table.

Rat hole. Disgusting. Small beds. More locals live here than visitors. It's a place for undesirables. All night we heard car alarms and cops. Residents of this hotel were faster than a NASCAR pit crew in taking the wheels and rims off a car. They also broke into Cara all night long. As a veteran my husband had a hard time sleeping all night long. Spend the money and stay closer to the garden district or the French quarter or plan your next penicillin shot after you check out. No Bibles no pool no breakfast and no personable people at all. This is not at all a four star hotel.

Stay away form this dirty, terrible, abhorrent place. Saw more hookers and panhandlers there then I saw water in the bayou. This is likely why the rooms in this "non-smoking" establishment all smell like cigarettes. Unfortunately they are so familiar with the smell they can't seem to recognize the stench. I'd gladly provide a NEGATIVE star rating if it was possible! Terrible customer service. Free HBO was not available during my short stay and that won't change unless the owner reads this and does something about it. The family who owns it (regrettably lives and "maintains" the cheap hotel) is seemingly helpful until you have a problem, then… well, useless and rude is the best way to describe how "management" decides how to "resolve" the issue. Sheets are older than you are and just unacceptable. Don't expect amenities of any kind; not even a toilet paper holder (unless you consider a wet sink or the ground to be acceptable). DO NOT expect a safe environment. My wife and I were told multiple times not to walk around the area after it was dark out. Expect to have to police wake you up at least once while you stay, but if you like bright blue flashing lights for a few hours while you are trying to sleep, don't worry.
