Everything was great. Beds were clean. Didn't really deal with staff at all. Ice machine works great. There was a hole in our bathroom door though room 133. I don't know what happened there but it look like someone hit it. Other than that it was real cozy and quiet.

As far as the rooms, they were ok. Fridge wasn't cleaned out from the people before us, still had stuff in the door. But, bed was clean and 4 pillows. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better but wasn't filthy, had a few small pieces of tissue under the cabinet. The halls had alot to be desired. At one point there was dog poop in the floor and it reeked of cigarettes and pot. We had no issues with people, staff or seeing anything shady. Just wished the staff had paid more attention. They offer a continental breakfast, but ran out of stuff well over an hour and a half before it was to end. For the price, you get what you pay for. Inexpensive place with no major issues.

It isn't a bad place. All the hotels are overpriced in Lake Charles, so don't expect to get what you usually would for the money you spend. As for the room itself, the bathroom is basic, but the bed is comfy. I didn't have noise issues or anything like that either, so that's nice. It wouldn't be my first choice, but really none of the hotels in this town would be for the prices they give you.

The room was nice. But there was no elevator. It was very smokey as well.

Fantastic breakfast sausage eggs everything. Servers very friendly and competent.

Clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Free breakfast. Not just cereal and toast either. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and waffles.

Last time we stayed here it was a pleasant experience. This time there was a moldy carpet smell, not just in our room but throughout the whole right wing. The bed was clean but not too comfy. The front staff hit on my husband LOL. It wasn’t horrible, I didn’t see any bugs, but I do feel $85 was a little high for one night. This is more of a $60 place.

This is literally the only Hotel / Motel I stay at in Lake Charles. No it's not one of the big luxurious casino hotels. By the same token it doesn't carry they're luxurious price tag. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are always clean, (and I know clean, I own a commercial cleaning company! ) Not to mention the free breakfast, is so encompassing you should be charged for it! What more do you need? Soft bed free Wi-Fi great free breakfast in a friendly staff. I stay here roughly two nights a week, every week!

Staff needs more training. No coffee available because machine didn’t work! Manager was great. Very helpful.

I will never go here again. No towels at 5:00 two days in a row. I asked Houes keeping for towels she told me to wait cause she not rushing. An I'm supposed to pay for that. Stayed here another time found a roache in my room the manager act like I had roache at my house so it's know big deal. That same stay I forgot my keys I live in Slidell la so I couldn't just go back I asked if they could mail my keys the manager informes the don't provide postage so I over night a stamped envolpe to them on Monday didn't get my keys until the next Monday. I'm glad I got them back. Parking lot gets full at night. Breakfast is trash. Rooms are not the best. Stay here at your on risk.

It was alright. Restrooms could be better. There were no sliding curtains. I like to darken the room. The light from the outside of the street was coming in so I didn't get much sleep.

Great Chain. This hotel was acceptable because it was built from the ground up. Some of the hotels are "take over" locations that were other brands before Super 8 bought them. So, the rooms might not be as acceptable. I love the enclosed entrances that give added security — — always a plus in today's social environment.

One of the worst rooms ever. While approaching the stair way you smelled marijuana, from the second floor to the first floor. I give it a one star only because the front desk clerk provided my family and I with good customer service. We stayed in the room no longer than 2 minutes the other 8 minutes were from us viewing the pool and walking to the stair way down the hall to right to get to our room.

Absolutely gross place. I requested an non smoking room and t smelled like smoke. Not to mention there was cigarette burn holes all in the blankets and drapes. Restroom was gross. Lack of towels. Was told if I want more towels I'd need to bring down the ones I already have. Staff seemed nice enough but that's not a saving grace in my opinion. Pool is also a joke. Water looked like it had a nasty film on the top of the water and the chairs had mold on them.

I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! I had to call my bank and cancel my debit card / dispute charges from this place because some shady thief that works here stole my debit card information and used my name to check into a room after I had already check out.

Bery nice staff upon chec in she went above and beyond. Only negtive would be didnt like pillows. Loved the eggs and bacon for breakfast.

Probably the best Super 8 I've experience — highly recommend.

Recent stay. When we pulled up the night clerk was looking out smiling and waving. Pleasantly surprised, clean, looked very well kept up. Everyone was very nice.

Stayed here over the weekend. Everyone except the owner was polite. Non-smoking room smelled like stale smoke. One of the beds comforters had a cigarette burn in it, which I guess is better than the other bed that didn't have a comforter. The shower was dirty, there was still hair from the previous guests on the walls of the shower. The door frame had evidence that the room had been broken into at some point and the latch was replaced. People were partying out in the parking lot ALL night, our truck was keyed, I'm sure due to the fact that we refused advances from the guys in the parking lot. Breakfast consists of a waffle maker with water batter, toast or cereal. But none of that was as bad as the owner. She was extremely rude and her English leaves a lot to be desired. I would stay in my truck before I PAID to stay at this place ever again.

The service was great Ashely was kind and sweet to all the guest.

Omg I loved it. Justin Bieber had came and was kissing random girls in the hall. Best hotel ever.

The beds are uncomfortable, the mini fridge didnt work… cleaning people didn't respect the do not disturb sign… paid too much for something that was not worth it…
