Dirty nasty room, I have pics. When I let choice hotels know, I was offered a membership and points. No thanks. I would never recommend this place.

Been here for 8 days waiting on my truck to get fixed great staff breakfast and clean rooms I highly recommend it.

The hot breakfast was worth the stay hands down! Great customer service all around!

The rooms are comfortable. Workers are ok. Rooms stay cool.

Stayed here last night, room was good, front desk guy was really nice, tha BAD? Housekeeping started about 8 am and just roam the halls and have zero respect for guests. Someone needs to tell them to show just a little class and not scream while folks are sleeping. Won't be spending 80 bucks here again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights. We paid for a week but found out we were getting severely eaten up by bed bugs. They recompinsated us with $60 ($30 deposit and an extra $30 for our remaining time we didn’t stay). We called the guest relations department and they basically said we are sol but that they would send us a report to fill out within 24 hours. They never sent it. We’ve called them twice about it. This company doesn’t care at all. Nobody needs to stay here. We are still suffering from the bites and we are worried the bed bugs followed us now. Thanks for nothing motel 6.

Awesome, experience. They let us check in early. The maids that clean the rooms were outstanding. The room was clean. The bed was just right. The only thing I did not like was being on the top floor. The breakfast was really good, best sausage gravely I've ever had.

The lady in front lobby was super nice but couldnot do anything about this expect clean up floor and light Reserved 4 rooms 1 king with pull out no pull out and 3 rooms double only 2 rooms doubled and single and light out in bathroom and water all over floor like mop was not rung out.

The staff member at check in was nice, and professional. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. Unfortunately, those were the only positive things. Shower was rusted, and FILTHY. Water pressure was low as well. There were cigarette burns all over the sheets and covers. The towels were stained, and had blood spots on some (Luckily I brought my own). The room had an extremely strong smoke smell.

The hotel is fairly new so it's appearance is neat and clean. Housekeeping was quick to address any issues we had and we're prompt when replacing sheets and towels. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't really know why this hotel has a low rating. My family and I have been here for the last week, my husband for 4 weeks. I had no complaints about any employee or guest. My daughter never meets a stranger so I guess we are more outgoing than most. It never disappoints to say hi to your neighbors. Our room was very clean. The parking lot was clean. Never seen a single bug! There is on site laundry and snack/drink machines. Everyone here was Super Awesome. And if you have the pleasure of meeting Ms. Teresa (Mama T), then you have definitely met the most precious soul in the world. She goes above and beyond for the guests. She took my 18 year old daughter under her wing and they have become instant family! She even helped take care of my husband while he was sick! All I can say is A++++ Hotel.

Me and my husband travelled 10 hours and we got us room there. The bed was wonderful, the pillows were wonderful. We had a hot shower. The pool was great. The breakfast was good. And The front desk people was so very nice.

Ok so racizim at its finest at this hotel. I just reported the staff and recorded him and sent the video to the corporate office. The front desk staff told me I had to present an Id for my minor son. I refused and called the corporate office. I asked him how many white guests do you call your boss and tell there are 4 people in a room? And how many white guests do you ask for them to present their minor children's ids? My Nephew is 17 no facial hair in no way shape or form looks like an adult. His school buddy is 15 or 16 and maybe 5 feet tall if that? No facial hair. Smh. If the Corporate office doesn't respond appropriately I am going to 1st and foremost go to the media and then I am going to contact an attorney. This is crazy that people can still act like this in 2018 and keep a job.

This place is Horrible! We were supposed to have a king size bed, with a sofa bed. When asked where is the sofa bed, they said we don't have rooms like that. The bed was very uncomfortable the pillows were extremely small, and flat has a pancake. The sheets or torn and stained. Not enough towels or soap. The place is horrible I would never advice people to stay. This place looked like a sex trafficking motel.

Nice enough. Very pleasant workers. Lot of construction working men were there, which meant there was a lot of traffic. But no one was rowdy. I'd go again. I had a king bed. The rooms have the micro/fridge, coffee maker, iron, ironing board. No dryer.

So disgusting. Roaches and damp inside out sheets and beds look like metal futons and they want to charge 90 a night?! More like I wouldn’t even sleep here if I was being paid to. Pretty much for crack heads only no thanks.

Sadly zero stars were not an option. This hotel management should be reprimanded for his lack of hospitality and respect for people in America. Refusing to refund a room with a 6 day notice for reasons uncontrollable by the human race… The bridge leading us here was going to be under construction (the Mississippi bridge)! There are no words to describe his lack of empathy or concern, he simply said nope. Not helping you. Even after the booking agency pleaded with him he still refused to do the right thing. So. Choose a hotel that will give you respect and treat you like a person not a number. Stay away from this one. Not only was this a bad situation, the rooms are not clean and for the price I'd expect at least that much. No amount of air freshener will rid your nose of the stench. Ironically a smell familiar to any of my fellow marines. Management needs to be taught that just because you CAN doesn't always mean you should. UPDATE… the search and rescue helicopters all evening… That's fitting. Great hotel.

This Place Sucks. I lost a headset, a mini Speaker and a perfume and I told the record owner, and the only thing I said is that she does not responsible for what is lost. So What is sleep safety when you're not in the room? I Don't recommend it at all.

We stayed one night en route to New Orleans. It was excellent — clean and confortable. The service was great and Ms. Cindy made a lovely breakfast space.

Worst hotel I ever stayed it. Smells bad bugs all over the place. I drove 18 hours so I didn’t have a choice and would have never been able to sleep there is I was half awake. Was itchy the whole next day. Lots of druggies outside and to top it off they had a guy painting the building and his ladder was right next to me car. I have paint splatter in my brand new car! ***********stay away.

Great place to stay. Very good breakfast & the host are very helpful. My only complaint is the location.

Service and staff were nice and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and we slept well but it was not in a great area. There seens to be some renovations going on around the hotel, but the hotel is very oddly situated. The pool is tiny. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed the direct TV and movie channels. It was also reasonably priced.

The only thing good about this place was the counter guy on duty that evening. The place was old and decrepit. But it was better than the Motel 6 I stayed at in Texas the night before.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here. The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was only about 10 mins from the casinos. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff over the weekend was so fun. The guy that checked us in was a little inappropriate so hopefully he'll get some training on how to talk to customers. Overall, not a bad stay.

The place doesn’t look that bad … but between the elevator of death, slamming doors all night, the fist fight between some couple from 3am to 5am in the Hall (lady watching the screens for security who was sleeping and must have missed it), no one cleaned our room on a two night stay … the room wasn’t cheap enough for all the drama that came with it… I saw a best western down the street that looked way better go there!

I had a great ztay here. Room was great an the staff was friendly an helpful. Would stay again if in the area.

It was easy to check in, although the remote barely worked. Towels smelled burned. But nice receptionist.

The most worse experience ever! Will NEVER stay there again! Manager and staff is very rude and unprofessional. Rooms are extremely dirty and unsanitized. They allow dogs to stay in the rooms which isn't a problem but 3 big dogs and keeping up noise. I wished I could have spoken with someone higher up in management. The manager wasn't available when we went to complain the night before. We did get a refund finally after I told them I would call the news station. I have pictures that I wish I could post.

I wish I could give a negative star! On 3/22/2018 my husband and I paid 86.05 at 4:00 pm to be a guest in the Super 8, 1004 N MLK Hwy, Lake Charles, La. As we were traveling from Texas to New Orleans the only amenities we were seeking were a clean, safe room, coffee & small breakfast the next morning. We checked in, placed our bags in our room, and left at approximately 5:40 pm to go grab some take out to bring back to the room. In the approximately 30 minutes we were gone a construction crew opened our room and proceeded to install shelving units, leaving sheetrock debris and construction trash on the floor of our room. No one was in the office when I returned, found this, and walked over to voice my displeasure. The next morning we arrived at 6:40 am to the “breakfast” room. There was no milk, orange juice, no bread for toast, and my husband poured a cup of coffee which was over 1/2 full of grounds. It was sludge. The construction crew had wiped out everything and no one was restocking anything. As soon as the office opened we went to check out and I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that Switi Patel was not available to talk to and I was not offered a phone number or email address to contact this person. I then voiced my displeasure at the fact that the hotel had allowed a construction crew into a paying guest’s room without notification and the deplorable condition the room was left in afterwards and also the state of the “breakfast”.

The rooms are always nice and clean. And the front desk People were really nice.

The room was much nicer than we expected! Very clean! We had a small problem with our ac when we got to the room and the manager came and got it fixed right away! He didnt even waist time trying to fix the old unit, he replaced the entire unit quickly with no hesitation! The staff was extremly friendly! Close to all the casinos! Will definetly be back!

Had a great experience. Rooms are big and clean. Front desk was super friendly. My favorite part was the selection of the breakfast. My kids loved it. Will def be back if i'm in the area!

The hotel is located in an area easily accessible to everything. The beds are comfortable and rooms are large and clean. Staff was friendly and offered a discount for our very late (after 2am) check-in.

Manager he was very rude the other front desk ladies mainly Delissa is a very good person she will help you in any way she can she was very professional and courteous!

Our favorite. Always. Never disappointed with our stay with them. When we relocated to different city, twice we have stayed for almost 10 days. Always emerged happy.

Electronic locks don't work, had to be let in with an actual metal key, told we couldnt leave the room without having management unlock it again, security lock doesn't lock, roaches in room, can't even brace the door with a chair, and the night manager, JOHN, is psychotic. He screamed at my companion because she had the audacity to say the room was unacceptable and proceeded to tell her she doesn't speak like a human. He literally got red in the face and SCREAMED. I'm terrified and demanded a refund, but this guy needs to have charges pressed against him. I feared for our safety at the hands of this creep. The refund paperwork didn't say "refund" anywhere, and actually looked like we were being charged a second time for a room in which we couldnt stay. AND NOW HE HAS ALL OF OUR INFORMATION! ROACH INFESTED TRASH HOLE MANAGED BY A SCARY, CRAZY, AGGRESSIVE CREEP GIVING OFF RAPE VIBES … DON'T STAY HERE EVER! Motel 6 also won't take complaints after 10pm ET, told me to call back in the morning… 100% horrid. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Red Roof Inn a couple exits east.

We checked in on 1/6/18 the rooms was bad and over priced the web showed 76 with tax but when we got there we was charged 85 with tax. The water was brown roachs was crawling in bathroom and the walls. The heat didn’t work well. Do good for the brand of the company!

The rooms are nice with comfortable beds! Has a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The people at the front are very welcoming and great you with a smile! Great Mexican restaurant across the street from here.

Location and staff were very nice and friendly. As for the room major cleaning issues need to be addressed, as well as the roaches. Major maintenance issues… I can obviously say you really do get what you pay for!

Comfort suits are what you pay for. They are confortable, and you will have a good night sleep, the rooms are clean and not pricey. The have good customer servive and you will earn point on your rewards card.

Checked into room. Unpacked. TV did not work. Front desk person came to room. Could not fix. Set to second room. 2 of the fixtures had no light bulbs. Went to front desk. At first could not find bulbs. Motel felt like a housing project. Loud noises at mid night from ajoining rooms. People hanging around parking lot. Terrible experience and I am a loyal Motel 6 customer. Front desk staff did as best they could.

Good value for your bucks! Clean, spacious room, and breakfast with waffle makers, which is what I miss the most from one of choice hotel group’s value inn! It’s very considerate of the hotel for providing wireless printing and so many plus/ usb hubs which I am sure is useful for business travelers alike.

Employees were friendly but housekeeping could have been a little more efficient.

The staff was nice. The price was $350 for a week. I stayed in room 127 and woke up every morning with new bites; multiple bites on my fingers, arms, underneath my arms, on my legs, back, and chest. Now I have to heat all my luggage because I'm not sure if it was bed bugs or what bit me for 5 nights that I stayed before I finally left.

Room was downright dirty. Walls piously have not been painted in years. Brown smudges all over white trim. Caulk was coming out of all corners in the shower. Room also smelled pretty bad. Personally, I slept in a sleeping bag on top of the bed. Would have immediately gone somewhere else if I hadn't been falling asleep standing up.

Excellent, friendly service from front desk to housekeeping. Room was clean and cozy. Many delicious breakfast choices. We enjoyed our stay.

On Wednesday, September 20, at about 3:00 p. M. I called the hotel directly and made a reservation for 1 night, checking-in on Friday, September 22, and checking-out on Saturday, September 23. My husband was going to be competing in a CrossFit competition on Saturday—he had to check in early in the morning—and it's a 4-hr drive from home to Lake Charles, LA. We got to Lake Charles at about 9:30 p. M. And go straight to the hotel. We were thinking… check in, drop off luggage, go eat dinner, and be asleep by 11:00-11:30 p. M. But, noooo! Got to the hotel… No reservation! Plus, the hotel is completely full. Come to find out that most of the hotels were completely booked because of several events that weekend! We left before I got belligerent. Drove to Chili's parking lot and I started making calls to find out what happened and how are they going to make it right. They found a hotel room for us at one of their other hotels… For twice the price of the hotel I made the reservation with. They never offered to help offset the difference in any way! Room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast a good. Shower was good, soaps smelled good. Parts of the building showing a little age but it's a great value for the money and highly recommend this place.

Shower was barely above warm, the room overall looked kind of shabby. Detail things like paint, etc. But overall considering the price and the price of neighboring hotels. I would stay here again! Mini fridge and microwave in the room too.

The worst part about this room was the bed. That was the worst sleep I have ever had. That was all I needed was a good nights rest and I didn’t get it. Everything else was great. Location… staff… price… but that horrible bed ugh!

Good spot. Nice rooms. Hotel itself is easy to spot, but easy to miss the driveway.

The hotel and staff were ok the room was pretty clean didn't see filth or bugs. They've got an ok breakfast. The thing that got men was the 2 thugs sittin on the steps. Me and my husband stay in hotels all the time for work, but this scared me. When we were trying to leave for work there was 2 high thugs sittin on the steps, my husband gave them a pack of cigarettes and 10 bucks to get them to move so we could get to our truck! DO NOT STAY HERE! I would give this place negative stars if I could but you hafta give it at least one to post a review!

Location and pricing 5/5. The staff is mostly useful and helpful. However they don't have the ability to make keys when they changed our lock out. Hopefully this was a one time thing.

Very friendly service from the staff I got to deal with. Room and the bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean. Comfortable sitting area and well lit. The staff was also very helpful to recommend a place to eat close by.

The room had a moist feel to it as if we were at the beach. The bed sheets felt a bit moist. Other than that it was a good stay.

I made a last minute reservation online and when I came to the desk to check in, I was met with wonderful and friendly staff. My room was more than comfortable and very neat! I will be a repeat customer for life!

Last minute stop and Kimberly at front desk was nice and friendly. It's clean and the food smelled good. Very clean. New update. We stayed July 4th weekend. Horrible. Stay somewhere else. And if you have to stay. Check bedding for dirty or stained bedding.

This was horrible our room was scented with the overpowering smell of mold and mildew. Ruined out Galveston trip got our money of 102.00 refunded and went to Lake Charles, La. This was after checking out 6 other rooms that had the same overpowering smell of mold and mildew.

For a Motel 6, this is one of the better ones, clean sheets, clean room. All around wonderful. The area is rough and people hang outside all night. But John at the front desk was amazing. Would stay here again!

Had a very nice stay. The room was nice. When our door key didn't work on our first room immediately gave us another room in less than 5 minutes. And the house keeping ladies were so sweet when they came to our room upon check out.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They couldn't provide a working key, the mini-fridge didn't work well, the microwave was unsafe and smoked. First thing in the morning, the room next to me, the occupants started fighting, violently. I called the front desk twice and she did nothing. I ended up calling the police. I was booked for two nights and left around three after the first night. I was never even given an apology or a discount for the night spent, plus the management was rude and expressed anger that I called the police. Do not stay here!

I requested a non smoking room, was given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke plus something else, which I finally figured out was a urine smell, it was a disabled room. The rug should be replaced. Minimal amenities, a simple check in took 25 min because the person on duty wasn't trained.

Staff was excellent. Kept a cool head as we rotted for our home team in the NBA Playoff.

Rooms aré fairly clean and the beds are not as comfortable as you wish they were but they are ok. I give this place 1 star because it is not a safe place to go with a truck or a boat because you will get robbed and front desk do not do anything to help. Got everything taken out of my boat and back of my truck and they will not help check cameras or do absolutely nothing to help. Very poor service on that! Will never go back again!

Hotel was nice with friendly staff & comfortable bed. I wasn't a fan of the area; I arrived at night & it looked like a rough area. I didn't have any problems though.

We showed up late. The lady showed up at the desk. She was pleasant and efficient. The room was quiet and clean. The ac was on and the room was cool. Important in the south with hot weather. Parking was was clean and we'll ordered. Good place to stay.

Typical comfort inn. Not a large room definitely not what I would consider a suite. Felt very dirty and not in a great part of town either.

Stayed here eight nights while working in the area the beds were comfortable the rooms were freshly painted and clean enough Mrs. Betty at the front was excellent she does great work and is a very nice lady.

Foul I grabbed one as infection on legs… I think that the beds had fleas.

Reasonable price for a hotel room, unreasonable price for this hotel. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the bed at least looked clean. The outside of the building is sketchy to say the least. The pictures online are very deceiving. There's even confusion about which motel 6 is the right one, on either side of the highway.

Very run down. Non smoking room smelled of smoke, and had cigarette burns in sheets and curtains. Pubes on toilet, and had to rinse down the tub before taking a shower. This was by far the worst place I stayed on my journey from California to Florida.

Room looked shabby, bathroom was dirty, the sheets were about the only thing that looked clean. There was a lot of activity all night, which sucked. However the lady at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. Overall, you get exactly what you pay for here. All of the negative things are countered by the low prices and convenient location. I'd stay here again.

Holes in all sheets, when you flush bathroom toilet it floods the foundation and pushes out Drain Maggots into the bathroom and room is full of drain flies as well. Housekeeping came into my room and broke my laptop (knocked it off table) and put it back. I got off work and found my keyboard keys everywhere and laptop wouldnt come on. Ive spent a full week asking for managers number which they will not give and was told manager would call me and has not. I have since reported to BBB and an trying to get in touch with ABVI corporate.

This was seriously one of the best choice hotels I have ever stayed in! I travel all over the country for work and this was the first time that I was recognized as a diamond member for their choice privileges program. Rooms are very spacious and clean & the staff is very friendly and helpful. The owners were always around which showed how much they cared for their care for the property! Thanks the fantastic hospitality!

In town for the weekend. Room was nice and very clean. Staff was fantastic. Had a good breakfast every morning. I have no complaints about my stay here, everything you should expect for a comfortable stay. Well worth it, I'd go back anytime.

Ripped us off for $308. After staying here for 5 months, we advised management that we would be checking out on March 6. On March 1, we paid for the week, and left on March 6 for Jacksonville, FL. On March 8, they apparently ran our card again, without a signature, and charged us again for our last week. This resulted in a lot of inconvenience and discomfort for us. Management when contacted, could not resolve the problem or even understand it because of limited English. The hotel is dirty (although relatively bug-free, only saw a few roaches in 5 months) and management refuses to make repairs. Although we complained a number of times about a non-functioning light in the bathroom, torn shade, broken toilet seat, and squeaky door in the room next to us, we finally stopped complaining, as nothing was done, and just lived with it.

Roaches in the room condoms on the cement in front the room door seats torn up and light lamps shills was so filthy I was scared to touch the with my hands to turn off light they had ceramic tile floors that needed to be mops the lights at the tops was rusted out and no cover was over then you can see the top of the floor of the up stair guest, the bed sheets and comforters had cigarette burns throw them and around the toilet seats was mildew and the seat was broken. It was so bad I put up a fuss until I received a refund. Rooms on the back side of this hotel u would rather say in your back yard with the dogs, there was people sitting outside the hotel like it was a drug area. And I have pics only if I knew how to post.

The room was renovated in 2014 bathroom was a nightmare corroded light fixtures and other metallic stuff in the bathroom worth the price over all I guess.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE IMAGES! They WERE NOT TAKEN here! Our room was filthy, had a hole in our very old bedspread. Our hand towel had two dark brown streaks across it and was yellowed terribly. Every towel in the room stunk of cooking grease and was discolored. The carpet was literally covered with nasty dark stains and the furnitures edges were all banged up and scratched. While it appeared the bathroom had been cleaned, not a single surface in the room had been wiped down. There were glass rings of something dark and sticky on every flat surface. Then. I pulled the covers back to find a large yellow stain on our sheets. The room was very cheap and that's fine, just don't show pictures of a room at the Marriott then stun me by walking into the roach motel.

It is an older hotel. But it is very clean and the staff is extremely nice. I have never written a review before but felt it necessary this time. I forgot my college graduation ring in my room and the cleaning staff found it and mailed it back to me! I couldn't believe it. I thought it was gone forever. The staff went out of their way to make sure I got my ring back. I will be forever grateful.

The staff was just great they knew the best places to eat real Cajun food. The room was spotless and for a hotel bar they know what they are doing. I will defiantly stay here again!
