Hotel hell. I had such a horrible experience here that I had to share. I stay at La Quintas all the time and this is by far the worst I've stayed in, not because of the facilities but because of management and how they handled things. After a 4 day long trip, I stayed here for some rest (that's what a hotel is for) and got anything but. There were only a few ppl here the nite I stayed, and management of all places booked the bouncing Brady Bunch right above me and they made lots of noise most of the night. Someone from the front desk finally went up to their room and stopped them. There were cats living around the hotel and so ppl were leaving food out for them and it was strowed all over the parking lot because of it. They kept trying to get in my car while I was unpacking (not good cause I had a dog in the car). I reported it to management and they said they'd been there for a month that a guest just left them. I am disabled and image me trying to lug stuff from the car after 4 days of driving battling cats. My dog even ripped a hole in my caregivers brand new sweatshirt he was so upset. Every time we had to walk our dog the cats were on top of the door, walking around the cars and trying to get us to pat them so our dog wanted to chase them. Morning came around and migraine and hurt muscles from wrestling with cats and dog pulling trying to chase them and same thing when trying to repack car. Food all over parking lot (health hazard and should be reported to health dept) and management had deactivated my key before checkout so had to wait for someone to come let me back in. I simply asked for my points back, not money, and they refused. Don't understand why they would allow someone to have a horrible experience and then not man up to it by reimbursement of points. Sad. Also, you had to sit on the floor to reach the microwave and we hurt our necks trying to watch tv, as it was halfway across the room and wasn't a swivel tv. Go down the road, there are PLENTY of options in Baton Rouge and cheaper, too.
