Great room, perfectly clean, nice decor, convenient right off I-10. Jacuzzi is still there! Not sealed up like so many other locations, & pool was nice & warm. To "Mark" who left a review below, complaining that he couldn't smoke: nobody wants to breath horrific & carcinogenic cigarette smoke, or have their children breath it, or their pets, walking in & out of the building, it proliferates into the building from outside & the hotel wants to smell clean & pleasant. I commend their strict no smoking policy. Night receptionist needs to be fired, no customer service skills whatsoever, her favorite word is "no", after hours of driving from Florida, my extremely tired mother, who is a very sweet woman & nothing but nice to people, gets met with a rude, completely careless, unaccommodating attitude, while handing over her credit card to pay $140.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Hot breakfast buffet average with what you would find for hotels in this range. Pets stay free. I rated this hotel so low though because of how poor the customer service was the night we checked in. Desk was very, very inattentive. Had to search and call for assistance to get checked in after standing around for awhile waiting, no bell or any way to let anyone know guests are waiting. The young lady in charge was most often in the back room/office and very difficult to find any time something was needed. When she was at the desk her face was glued to her cell phone and not spot checking or asking her guests if they needed anything. When asking for any additional pillows all I was offered was a very sad looking, very small, flat pillow that by every appearance was feathers after telling her that I was allergic to feathers. Morning check-out was quick and easy but crowded.

I will never go back. The staff are not child-friendly, or friendly at all. Overall the hotel was very unclean, and trashed. I chose this hotel because it is very close to Ocshner. My 17 month old son had to go to the hospital that morning because he has had an upper respiratory infection, and one of the medications caused an allergic reaction. I was too nervous to drive back home in case he needed further medical attention so I decided to get a hotel room. The older woman at the front desk (who later informed me that she was the manager) was very snappy, rude, and presumptuous. I asked her if they had any suites or adjoining rooms available, and she informed me that the hotel did not have suites or adjoining rooms at all. I needed the space, and preferably extra room because my son has to sleep with a humidifier and I wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. I decided to settle for a room with 2 Queens. She told me that there was no smoking in any of the rooms, and that was a plus because of my son's condition. However, she continued to repeat herself two more times about how I can not smoke in any of the rooms. I do not smoke. The room was cluttered with bulky furniture, and not a lot of space to put our luggage. The top surfaces were clean, and although the beds were quite high, they were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was VERY unsanitary. The bathtub had short curly black hairs stuck to the walls.

Awesome super clean place. Staff has great customer service. Now if u dont have a pet I dont recommend u stay on the first floor due to thats where they book people with pets. Also they have a good breakfast. Plenty of choices. Our family will definitely be back.

Husband booked the room as a surprise for Valentine's Day. We were treated with superb service. It was an easy location to get to. The rooms were VERY clean as well!

Clean rooms, decent breakfast, responsive staff, generally an overall pleasant stay for a family of four.

My wife and I and our dog stayed 3 nights. We had to leave our home due to the hurricane. The staff was wonderful, the room was spotless. We were happy there. Thank you LaQuinta!

Ok I stayed at this location over the labor day weekend of 2017 and let me say I will never stay at a laquinta ever again. The reason why is because as I was walking around the hotel on Saturday September 2, 2017 I saw one of the employees walking around showing other employees a weapon and honestly I feared for my life. Her name was Tabitha, the only reason I know this is because of her name tag but she was a heavy set woman around 6ft and a sour attitude. No I wasn't technically a paying guest I was only invited to see my friend and while that was worthwhile the fact that this hotel has employees waving guns around carelessly, I mean come on gun safety people. But the worst part of my stay wasn't discovered until I was home and relaxing when I found bed bugs in my luggage. Seriously bed bugs. Now never have I in my life had bed bugs in or around anything I own so this is disgusting. In my opinion giving this one star is too kind but it won't allow any lower.

Front desk stay was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. She even called when we got in our room to make sure everything was up to our standards. The rooms are beautifully appointed with quite a few outlets for charging electronics. Bed is very comfortable and HOT water. We took advantage of the pool amenities and the hot tub. We will definitely make this our regular stop when coming to Baton Rouge!

We stayed at this hotel and multiple times, and it's been a great experience every time. We know the hotel was recently damaged in the last hurricane flood event, and was not available in the last year or so, but we were able to use it on our recent trip and everything was available and repaired satisfactory. The breakfast area has been newly renovated and has a variety of foods, as well as the staff is attentive and very helpful. The room was clean and large, as well as accommodated our service animal. Would definitely stay here again and plan on doing so.

Needed to stay here because it was close to Team Toyota and needed my vehicle fixed. Room was very nice, breakfast was good. Service not so good, gentleman who checked us in was not very nice and we brought our vehicle for 7am and was called at 11:30 and said to ask for a late checkout bc it would be til about 2pm before it was ready and toyota said they never have problems and send them customers all the time. I normally do not mind waiting at toyota bc they r extremely fruendly there that is why we drive 2 hours for service there but I had my 9 year old autistic son with me. When I asked the lady at the front desk she was very rude and said no I need you out right now bc my cleaning staff does not work all day. I normally do not do this but others in my situation will know to go somewhere else if circumstances are unknown.

Although I had a problem during my stay — Debbie the manager stepped up and made it all right — I will return — the staff is always the best from check-in to check-out! Thanks Debbie.

It was nice! The breakfast was decent! Good accommodations for the price!

Looks very clean. The rooms are updated and spacious with HD TVs. The staff however, is what has made my stay a little annoying. On check in I could not utilize the covered unloading area because the front desk girl had a friend parked there. This would have been ok with me but it was raining. The breakfast was the usual waffles, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. Unfortunately, there wasn't much stocked and you had to interrupt the staffs conversation to ask for every little thing. The ground floor also smells like my high school locker room. Overall, good place to stay but could be a great place with a little effort.

Breakfast is cold sometimes, but we choose this hotel every time we drive from TX to FL. Clean, friendly staff, safe, pet friendly, and affordable!

Great room, great rate, convenient location. We had a conference at Crowne Plaza and this was only 10 minutes away! Great breakfast too, lots of choices.

Very sharp La Quinta. Friendly check-in and check-out. Cart rolled easily even with a heavy load. Full breakfast with upbeat staff. Quiet inside and out. Good room lighting. Sink faucet had no water pressure — — used bath faucet instead. Room refrigerator was both unplugged and turned off. I found it easier to bring in my own after the desk person told me I had to pull it out of cabinet to turn it on. Microwave worked fine. TV nicely positioned. Internet worked well. Hobby Lobby is about 100 yards from hotel — an easy and safe walk.

Hotel hell. I had such a horrible experience here that I had to share. I stay at La Quintas all the time and this is by far the worst I've stayed in, not because of the facilities but because of management and how they handled things. After a 4 day long trip, I stayed here for some rest (that's what a hotel is for) and got anything but. There were only a few ppl here the nite I stayed, and management of all places booked the bouncing Brady Bunch right above me and they made lots of noise most of the night. Someone from the front desk finally went up to their room and stopped them. There were cats living around the hotel and so ppl were leaving food out for them and it was strowed all over the parking lot because of it. They kept trying to get in my car while I was unpacking (not good cause I had a dog in the car). I reported it to management and they said they'd been there for a month that a guest just left them. I am disabled and image me trying to lug stuff from the car after 4 days of driving battling cats. My dog even ripped a hole in my caregivers brand new sweatshirt he was so upset. Every time we had to walk our dog the cats were on top of the door, walking around the cars and trying to get us to pat them so our dog wanted to chase them. Morning came around and migraine and hurt muscles from wrestling with cats and dog pulling trying to chase them and same thing when trying to repack car.
