Room was average size and so was bathroom. In fact it was so spacious it felt like maybe another chair or ottoman should have been added to help fill up the room. This location is VERY close to the airport and as such during operating hours you will hear the sounds of jets taking off which can be bothersome if you are busy with a focus intensive task. What was disappointing about this location is the fact the I encountered a problem with the guest laundry. The coin-op washer did not extract enough water from my clothes during the rinse cycle. Going on a hope and prayer, I went ahead with placing my clothes in the dryer. Unfortunately the dryer didn't do anything either. I was due to take off within the next two hours and could not afford to change another go around in the dryer. When I reported the issue to the front desk and expressed how much this incident was going to cost me in terms of checked baggage weight and wet clothes the only consolation I got from the front desk was, "Thank you for telling us… " I didn't get compensated for the inconvenience or even an offer to dry my clothes in house keepings dryer. If you are staying overnight this place is fine but I would not expect anything or anyone to go above and beyond to aid you for anything.

Room was clean and comfortable. Common area was very comfortable and well maintained. There was a restaurant in the hotel which served amazing food, although quite pricey. A gas station is close enough to walk to. Shuttle service for the airport is available.

Excellent place to stay.

Awful experience! Only bad experience from a HGI or any Hilton property for that matter. I would give it negative stars if I could. The room was dirty (hair in the bath tub) and on top of that, I didn’t have a working toilet for two days. After maintenance told the front desk that I just need to hold the handle down, I took a video of the broken toilet and of me “holding the handle down” (still not working). The manger came up to me and said “were you be going to the bathroom if it’s broken? ”. This place is not only disgusting but very unprofessional. I will NEVER stay at this place again and never recommend it. I do recommend Double Tree on Constitution College Dr. If you are staying in the area. The staff is very welcoming and the hotel is very clean.

Staff service was good mostly everyone was very attentive. This hotel definitely needs a major upgrade on all feels like I’m at someone’s great grandmother house. My hotel room smelled disgusting and so did the bathroom. Not to mention that my last night there was roaches coming out the fridge. For this hotel to carry the name of a Hilton is extremely disgusting. I wouldn’t stay here again even if someone paid for my room!

Front desk service was great — check in went smooth. The room was big, could use an update but it serves its purpose. We noticed housekeeping came in our room and dumped the trash and replaced towels but didn’t make the beds… hummm. I would stay again if nothing was closer to planned destination. Oh and the closest Starbucks is 6 miles away…

Had a two night stay here this past weekend. When you walk in, the hotel looks very nice and it's conveniently located near the airport. I took one star off because the furniture in my room was not in a good shape. I took two more stars off because the sheets (under the covers) had brown stains and it took nearly an hour for someone to bring a replacement. Did not try the food. The staff was friendly but the quality of the hotel did not meet Hilton garden inn expectations.

I would like to personally THANK the entire staff of Hilton Garden Inn in Baton Rouge! The service here is always impeccable, the staff (ohhhh the staff! ) are very helpful and oh so courteous… not to mention always well groomed & professional. This is truly a home away from home for me. Certainly a place to lodge when visiting Baton Rouge. In addition the food is amazing also. A 10 star rating for sure!

Great rooms, and near several restaurants. It has a free shuttle to and from the airport, but it's not in a very safe area. I've never had an issue though.

No air in hallway on the 5th floor, but the air worked good in room. The room and bathroom was ok. Free muffin and coffee in the morning was good. They offered full breakfast for a fee.

Good place with great staff, convenient with the free airport shuttle. 1st room had an issue, staff immediately took care of the issue and moved me to another room. I would definitely stay again.

Good rooms with strong ac. A bit noisy next to a road and the airport. Hotel food was ok, but I expected better for the price. Nice place for a good price. I'd stay again for sure.

Breakfast was good. Pancakes and cereal, beds are very comfortable, very nice staff. Will be back.

This hotel cancelled my reservations the day before our stay, because I got special discount rates, I would look elsewhere for a hotel.

Decent place. Not to Hilton standards for sure. Breakfast is $13 each. Rooms need to be updated. The TVs are small and several years old. I wouldn't pay over $80 bucks a night to stay here. SC is ice cold.

Hotel is great but the food is overpriced.

Staying for a job interview. Need to hang suit jacket in bathroom to allow wrinkles to fall with help from shower steam. Bathroom reeks of cigarette smoke (whole hotel is nonsmoking). Notified service desk. Maintenance man came and sprayed some "scent killer. " Worked for maybe 30 minutes. Cannot leave suit jacket in smoked filled bathroom and be presentable for interview. Called service desk again. Was told to "just put (the jacket) in the closet, not the bathroom, " with a snide chuckle. Will not be back to this hotel. Worst experience I've ever had at a Hilton Garden…

The staff was amazing. That's the highlight. Several rough edges all around. Not exactly what I expect when staying at a Hilton garden inn. The building needs attention.

The room was very comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. It seemed a little pricey when I got the menu, but once the food got to me it blew me away! Everything was delicious and very worth through price. The staff was very helpful, even waiting at the door with extra napkins for people coming in from the rain. My entire experience was very positive.

Front desk are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Rooms are clean and always have a pleasant smell.

My stay was pleasant. The omelette bar was good, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. This is what I expect from a Garden Inn and I was not disappointed. No real standout features, but if I come to this area again I would choose this hotel.

The Hilton Garden Inn at the Baton Rouge Airport is an excellent place to stay for the business traveler. It is convenient to downtown Baton Rouge and the Baton Rouge Airport. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. Hotel has the amenities most travelers need. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast and the Mobley burger makes a great dinner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Made the knuckle headed move of leaving behind a favorite golf jacket in my hotel room closet. This Hilton's employees were kind enough to Fed Ex it back to me on the West Coast in a timely, gracious manner. They refused to be reimbursed for the shipping cost. Good people such as they assure me wanting to return to this location the next time I'm in their neck of the woods.

I did not even make it to the hotel in time before the front desk answered the phone 4 times, and hung up in my face before finally answering me. I work front desk at a Hilton property myself, and I can assure you all that this was the worst service, and not Hilton Standards. I cancelled my reservation because of the poor service. Being a Hilton employee, I take pride in the Hilton hotel industry, and this was a complete embarrassment because my family members had to stay at another hotel that was not Hilton.

All I can say is that I love it would stay here anytime.

I have stayed with hotels in the Hilton Family all over the United States and this has been the worst experience. For over three weeks the treadmill has had a broken TV and the front desk has been made aware of several times with no change. Nothing is complimentary any longer, including morning coffee, breakfast, water, etc. I was planning on staying at this location for a month and a half but am feed up with the direction this hotel is going and the lack of any decent restaurants in the area. I'll be at the Holiday Inn for the rest of my stay down here in Baton Rouge.

The best hotel experience in all of Baton Rouge.

Very clean. Everyone very friendly. I booked the hotel very far from my destination by accident. But I am pleased with it and will return and would recommended to anyone. Its across the street from the airport.

Stayed there for ten days and the people were incredibly nice everyday! Ms. Sue was an absolute pleasure and the head chef Sebastian went out of his way to make sure I was happy. The staff as a whole were very warm and welcoming! Eooms were very nice as well as the overall hotel. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Rooms are nice and clean. Swam in the pool outside which was somewhat out of season but had leaves and other things floating in it. Which was understandable because of it being very windy. Breakfast is a little pricey for what you get.
