July 2017 booked room here and both outdoor pools drained and inoperational. Seemed like a DUMP Not maintained I would think twice be4 booking this building for mount olympus or anybody. I think this is Building 39 for olympus.

Worse experience we were accused of smoking weed they seen the kids went to the pool I was in the bathroom with my twins taking a bath my man comes back then security comes knocking telling us we had to leave because the room smelled like weed again no one was smoking so we told the manager because we had roaches in our room and she said she did not care about that only why were we doing illegal stuff in her hotel room this wad very late at night I feel like they were harassing us because we were young and had 5kids.

I mean a hotel isn't always going to be top rated, it was fair enough for a night. Found bugs around the room, barely any space for movement.

Not a good place to stay. Room had bugs in it. Ended our family vacation early. Very dissatisfied.

DISAPPOINTED! This hotel could be better than it is. The lobby is very nice as well as the staff at the check-in desk. However, when we went to our room we entered through door 39B and to my surprise the doors were not locked. Anyone could just walk in, and there were a bunch of people smoking at this entrance. Then when we entered the hallway I thought we must have stepped into a different hotel, the carpeting is absolutely disgusting in all the hallways. The carpet in the room was a little better but not much. The room was clean just outdated. My daughter and I had a horrible time sleeping the first night, we had a hard time breathing, we were so stuffed up and my head was just pounding. In the middle of the night I also realized the fridge in the room was leaking all over the carpet. The next day after being out of the room for a while my daughter and I could finally breath and weren't stuffed up at all. We told the front desk before we left about the leaky fridge, they said they would have someone look at it. I guess they did because the carpet wasn't wet the rest of the time we were there. When we came back to our room the next day I'm not really sure what housekeeping did. One of the beds in the room was made the other wasn't, garbages were emptied, bathroom had clean towels in it but the sink and counter were not cleaned.

Zero stars. I found the customer service at Ambers to be lacking at best. I bought a vacation package from bluegreen vacations. Somehow bluegreen placed me at Ambers. Although I had paid for the vacation a full year in advance, when I arrived at the Ambers, they had jacked up the fees and taxes. When I asked about the 100$ hike in fees and taxes, they treated me as if I was applying for Food Stamps. When I questioned why the original paperwork and pricing had been replaced by hand-written numbers, they became indignant and condescending. Embarrassed and humiliated in front of my family, I paid taxes for three nights. Upon checking in, my family stated they did not feel comfortable either. I called the front desk and bluegreen and told them that I would be checking out because I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. Both parties agreed that there would be no penalty for checking out early, (we checked in at 11:30pm on May 28th and checked out at 10:30am May 29th). The vacation package I paid for included a three night stay. I stated that because I had already paid for the room, the taxes for the days we did not stay, should be returned. At this point they refused to pay me for taxes that should not have been leveled.

Decent hotel, but nothing special. The water park passes are a nice bonus and if you are going to use them, makes the room rate comparatively cheap. The indoor pool was VERY chlorinated, so could irritate some people. We typically don't like room service and like to just get extra towels. The front desk was a bit weird when I asked. The guy said we should not use them for water parks. I assured him it was not our plan. This was also the first hotel that did not have "do not disturb" signs. They could not really give me a good reason for this.

Boyfriend and I searched for a week before committing to this place. Wishing now we listened to the negative reviews. Our room smelled horrible, bathroom was disgusting (urine stains, rust, loud pipes) and we couldn't sleep because of the paper thin walls and the sex addicted neighbors. Amazing what a good photographer can do! … our room looked nothing like the pictures. Breakfast was a complete joke! We left here feeling dirty. Avoid at all cost!

I was gifted a vacation and was placed in this hotel with my husband. So we didn't get to pick the hotel with this deal, but we were very happy we got to experience Amber's. When we first walked in we took note of the warm, clean atmosphere of the lobby. The staff was friendly and really payed attention to our special needs as my husband and I both have health issues. When we got to our room, it was stately, but not over the top. First things first: we checked the mattress for bed bugs. We noticed that they took the time to completely seal in the mattresses. This put us at ease because we knew bed bugs were not going to wreck our vacation. The seal covering wasn't crinkly or uncomfortable and we would have never known it was there if we didn't check. Then I was relaxing with my laptop and I decided to check the reviews online. There was this horrible review left that said the place had mold issues. I am hyper sensitive to mold from a terrible exposure in the past! This worried me completely for a moment. Then I noticed how my nose wasn't stuffing up and everything was so clean. My nose stuffs up totally at even the slightest bit of mold. We even have special air filters at our home because even a little mold bothers me so badly. I slept soundly realizing that this bad review must have been left by a disgruntled employee. We've been here for the past three nights and we couldn't be happier.

When we came pulling up to the parking lot there was a homeless guy wandering around. Nothing the resort can really do about that, they are right off the interstate. Then, checking in at the front desk, the lady couldn't give clear directions to the water park or theme park. Google maps is available so no big deal, stil not a good first impression. From there, things got better. The rates and amenities were reasonable. The hotel and lobby were acceptable in appearance. Breakfast was fine considering the limitations placed on them by the state. The workers were marvelous except for the poor experience at check in. The overnight guy on Friday March 25th into Saturday was great and so was the breakfast guy. Overall, it was a mixed experience — for example why can the employees drink coffee and juice before 7:30 am yet the guests can't?

Indoor pool was great, rooms were a good size and the passes included were great with a great price I would come back. This was the only place I could find that didn't cost me an arm and a leg, the whole family had a great time. Thank you.

We liked our stay. You got us in early. You had waterpark passes. The hotel room was ok and pretty clean. The only thing that I have to say that was a let down was the breakfast. It was nice that a staff member made the waffles for all of us but the breakfast itself was a let down: powdered donuts, chocolate donuts and COOKIES? So we only took advantage of that free breakfast once. After that we went to McDonalds. Yes, it was free, but I've had really nice complimentary breakfasts and this was just sad.

My family and I love this hotel. It offers theme and water park passes and has a fabulous authentic Mexican resturant, soooo good. Our family loves coming to Amber's they have a lot to offer with a decent price. We have been here 2x in the last year and are planning to go back before the busy season.

The hotel was mediocre, not impressive, definitely not a resort, but that didn't bother me, the rate was reasonable for the Dells. My big gripe is that I LEFT HOME WITH A WINDOWS 8 CONVERTIBLE 2-IN-1 AND RETURNED HOME WITHOUT IT! I am cured of getting cheap rates online and going to mediocre hotels. The $75 per night I saved versus the going to a better quality resort COST ME A $1000 COMPUTER! Simply put, the last time I saw or used my PC was shortly after check-in when I looked up dinner spots online. After that I never saw the device again.

The resort is close to downtown WI Dells. When we arrived the receptionist was very nice. I reserved a room with 2 King beds and 1 sleeper sofa. When we get to the room I find 2 sleeper sofas and 1 King bed. I called right away to get this addressed and the manager said well there is a computer glitch we don't have any rooms with 2 king beds. He didn't even apologize. There were 2 Tv's in the room and no controls for neither of the Tv's. I called the front desk and they said are you sure did you check the drawers or underneath the bed. The gentlemen I spoke to went in the room and double checked the room and saying this is really weird doubting what I said. He only brought only one control. He said I will try to get you another one and never came back. When it was time for bed I looked all over the room for pillows for the sleeper sofas nothing! I called the front desk they asked me are you sure there is no pillows that is really weird. If you want pillows you have to come and get them! I go and ask for 4 pillows and they said I don't think we can get you that many. The next day my husband was ironing and the iron was broken when my husband added water on the iron the whole thing spilled and got his clothes wet! I called the front desk and they brought us a working iron. I went to complaint to the front desk and the receptionist said mam their is nothing I can do I just work here.

Save your wallet and your expectations for a decent hotel for another place. The Hotel room was horribly dirty, cleaning services were non existent after 5pm. They say they have a restaurant and bar on site, with a convenience store, both were closed the two days we were there. The hallways are very dark and provide very little light. Even after speaking with the owner about the room not being cleaned and a promise they would fix it, they did not touch the room. All the owner did was complain and blame other people for the conditions of his hotel. If you want a decent room with a decent experience do not stay here.

This hotel was great for my family and I. They have quite a few pools indoor and outdoor, one with little kid slides, and 2-3 indoor/outdoor hot tubs. Plenty of privacy. Eddie was very nice to us, and answered all of my questions with patience and politeness. After reading many reviews, I was a little nervous to stay here, but they were WRONG! As many complained of the continental breakfast, I must say… its continental. Meaning donuts, coffee, toast etc, not a gourmet meal. If you want something more; Dennys, BK, and iHop are very close by. I would definitely stay here again. PROs — a lot of pools, hot tubs — people are polite and willing to help — a lock box in rooms — free wi fi — tons of coupons for surrounding places — 2 mini fridges, one you can lock behind the cabinet door — comfy beds, we had an extra blanket and sheet in our drawers — multiple entrances so you don't have to barge through the front door every time you come and go. CONs — rooms are a little smaller, but nothing to complain about. This is a remodeled older place — MINI continental breakfast but like I said theres breakfast across the street if you want more.

I loved our stay at this hotel. The front desk girl was great and offered great customer service. The rooms are smaller, but very clean and nicely updated. It also offered great pools and slides for my 2 small children. They would have been content never even leaving the hotel. They offered continental breakfast, tickets to a fantastic water park, and theme park included in the price of the room! It is close and convenient to everything as well. They were incedibly hospitable and it was a great value! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay with exceptional value!

Not very modern by today's standards. Advertised breakfast was toast and coffee. Woohoo.

Honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Was super expensive, the only thing good about this was the waterpark passes. Would have rather stayed at a better hotel for a lower pr7ce.

My family went this past weekend to celebrate my daughters 20th birthday and had a great time. We had 4 children along age 10 to 20 and they all found something to do thanks to the free passes that were included with our stay (Chula Vista water park and Kalahari theme park). We checked in to the hotel in the morning and received our passes. The first day we went to Chula Vista Water park until dinner. Then we came back to the hotel and enjoyed pizza from the restaurant at the hotel. We could have gone back to the water park but decided to swim at the pools at the hotel (they have 3, so when the kids were bored with one we picked a different one) The continental breakfast was exactly what I expected — coffee, juice, muffins, donuts and fruit. So we decided to walk down the block and enjoy a hot breakfast at Paul Bunyan's. After breakfast we checked out of the room and used the passes for the Kalahari theme park. The kids were able to do everything they wanted — go-carts, rock climbing, mini golf, ect. It was a great value, the room was clean and the staff was helpful what more can you ask for at hotel.

This is the worst place to stay! They say they have a continental breakfast but they don't! and the front service is even worse very disrespectful.
